Chapter 6
Fang felt a tear through his heart, saying all of this to Stone made him feel terrible. He knew the
things he was saying about her were lies, he never really wanted to eat her. "Hmmm, I believe
you, make sure to save some bones for me after you're done with her." Stone said, smiling
grimly. Fang gulped, "Y-yeah, sure." Stone twitched his ear and swishes his tail, "Well seeyah, It
was nice seeing you again." He said. "After you got exiled from the pack, I worried about you."
Stone said walking closer and placing his paw on his shoulder, "I'm glad you are doing well."
Fang nodded. Stone walked away and disappeared behind the brambles. Fang lowered his ears
and looked down, hating himself for saying all of that. Hmmm, I wonder where Ari is, he thought.
Meanwhile with Ari: "Yeah, and that's the story." She said. Snow had his paw under his chin,
clearly interested in her story, "Wow, I didn't know Fang was such a betrayer." Snow said
frowning. "Yeah…" Snow walked forward, "Well now, I'm sure he wouldn't mind If I could
eat you right?" Snow said, smiling. "Yeah, I'm sure he wouldn't…wait what?" Ari said, widening
her eyes. "You really think all I eat is just deer and wild turkey right?" Snow said, while
crouching down in a way as if he was gonna pounce. "What?" Ari said, extremely surprised and
confused. "Come on…seriously, I'm a wolf, I eat anything that I see as prey when I'm feeling
hungry." Snow said, showing his teeth. "He is right though." A different voice says. Ari snaps her
head to where it came from. Stone steps out, "I mean, we are wolves…man i'm hungry right
now." Stone said, walking towards her. Ari backed up a step, she then was against a tree. The
two wolf men creeped up to her, laughing and growling. "No!" somebody else says, Fang runs
out of the brambles and tackles the two. "What are you doing, this is my girl!" Fang snarled as
he wrestled with the two. "Girl? But I thought you said she was food!" Stone said as he tumbled
off of him. "I lied, I like her!" Fang yelled, pinning his ears and growling. "SHE IS MINE!" Fang
roared. "Fine, fine we'll leave you alone." Snow said, "Come on Stone, let's leave." Snow
nodded to Fang and pulled Stone with him. Fang watched them leave, hackles raised and
growling in a protective pose in front of Ari, who stood there bewildered. He turned around, "Are
you ok?" Fang asked. Ari stood there silently, taking in what she just heard. Fang stepped closer
to her and hugged her. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so-so sorry." He said. Tears rolled down his
cheeks, he realized what the feeling inside of him was. It was love, Fang thought. "Ari, I love
you." Fang whispered. Ari remained silent as Fang embraced her. "I-I…I love you too." Ari said,
she blushed as she wrapped her arms around him. They stood there silently as Fang hugged
her tightly."From now on you're mine, I'll protect you and take care of you." Fang said as he
kissed the top of her head. "You're no longer my food, I can't bear to think of you that way."
Fang said. "Ok." Ari said quietly. You're mine now. Fang thought.
