Marinette climbed up on her balcony, a hot honey tea in her hand. It was a perfect night for relaxing outside, and she walked over to the balcony railing. It had been a fun day, in the morning she and Adrien had been paired to work on a project, and now she had this quiet time to think.

What he do during his evenings, how did he use his free time? Was happy when he was alone, or was he thinking of her?

The sound of claws scraping on her balcony railing nearly made her drop her tea, but she heard a very familiar voice floating on the warm air. "Marinette," it called out, and Marinette smiled as Cat scrambled onto her balcony. Cat loved coming here at any time of day, but Marinette noticed he was coming in the evenings a whole lot more. She wondered if he got lonesome after patrol.

"What is it that couldn't wait until morning," Marinette asked, sipping on her tea. She was tired, and she was thinking of heading to bed soon. "I have something important to say," Cat said, walking over and giving her a hug.

Cat loved it here, and it was beginning to feel like home. Marinette giggled when he buried his nose in her hair. "What's it smell like, catnip?" "No, strawberries." "I thought you had something to say. You are distracted tonight." "Just hi, Princess," he told her shyly. "Hello, Pun lord," she shot back.

It was nice having him hold her in his arms. It was if half of heart was silent, and now it beat out a steady rhythm. A rhythm of love.

"I made cookies earlier. Would you want one with a glass of milk?" "I'll never say no to a cookie, love." He batted at her pigtail gently, and she took his hand. "You might protest if it had veggies in it, but don't worry these are only fill of chocolate chips."

Though Marinette was tired, it was nice having him here. And she got to spend time with Adrien, even if she didn't know it. Cat sighed happily as he munched his cookie. This was really beginning to feel like home.
