Chief Mogadon ask "where's your son at? I haven't seen him in over a year."

Stoick answers "he's probably at the forge working."

"uncle? Can you talk Hiccup into letting me talk to Astrid?"

Stoick and Mogadon turned to see Snotlout upset.

Stoick sighs "I'm sorry Snotlout, but I have no authority over my son since he's not part of the tribe."

Hiccup and Astrid walk down to the docks and says "sorry for being late to welcome you, Chief Mogadon."

Snotlout ask "you finally come to talk to me after six days?"

Astrid huff "stop talking to me, Snotlout."

Hiccup hid Astrid behind him and says "leave my girlfriend alone, Snotlout or I'll make sure you can't talk or touch Astrid again."

Stoick sternly ask "Snotlout! What did you do to have my son become Astrid's bodyguard?"

Snotlout answers "we had a misunderstanding and Hiccup knocked me out with a weapon in the forge."

Hiccup answers "he grabbed Astrid by her throat demanding that she be submitted to anything that he demands of her. So I hit him in the head with a hammer knocking him out for a few hours."

Stoick scowls "SNOTLOUT JORGENSON! YOU DARE PUT YOUR HANDS ON GIRL AND DEMAND THAT SHE BE SUBMITTED TO YOU?!"

Snotlout gulps "uh, yes?"

Stoick scowls "I won't let any girl date you until you turn twenty!"

Snotlout gape "now wait a minute. I'm the heir!"

Stoick comments "temporary."

Mogadon ask "why don't you make your son heir again?"

Hiccup answers "I can answer that by telling you that I left in self exile for training a dragon in secret."

Mogadon ask "if you left in self exile, why are you here for?"

Hiccup answers "I'm here because my girlfriend ask me to come to make her feel comfortable."

Mogadon ask "why would you feel uncomfortable about us visiting?"

Astrid answers "your son, Thuggory and the fact Snotlout is an idiot and could disrespect you and start a war."

Chief Mogadon comments "so, you and Hiccup. When did that start?"

Hiccup answers "right after I woke up from a coma after killing a hundred foot tall dragon."

Mogadon sighs "then Snotlout would be jealous because of you two dating."

Thuggory comes over and says "I didn't expect Astrid to fall for Hiccup."

Snotlout leaves the docks scowling.

Thuggory ask "so, what dragon is your dragon?"

Hiccup answers "my dragon is a Night Fury."

Thuggory gape "no way you bonded with the most powerful dragon of all."

Astrid grins "I told him I was impressed that he trained a Night Fury and showed fearless."

While they hangout with Thuggory.

Thuggory ask "do you plan on marrying him, Astrid?"

Astrid answers "yes. I plan on marrying Hiccup. I was the one who proposed to him."

Thuggory gape "so your engaged to each other?"

Hiccup grins "yep. We just want to keep it a secret until my punishment is over."

Thuggory ask "does anyone else know about the engagement?"

Astrid answers "my parents and Stoick know. Snotlout knows that I want to marry Hiccup, but he doesn't know that we're already engaged."

Thuggory ask "and you don't want to tell him?"

Hiccup sighs "I don't want him to challenge me for her hand in marriage because I would humiliate him in a duel. I'm a trained Samurai."

Thuggory ask "what are you going to do after we leave?"

Hiccup answers "go look for my mother."

Thuggory comments "you believe your mother is alive."

Hiccup answers "yes. I don't believe she's dead."

Astrid comments "oh I need to check-in with my mom."

Hiccup ask "why do you have to check-in with your mom for?"

Astrid blushes "she's just wants to know how your treating me and that I'm still pure."

Hiccup comments "pure? I wouldn't think about asking you to consummate with me until after you decide your ready or after we got married."

Astrid comments "tell my parents that. They just worry about me."

Next day, Astrid woke up and ate breakfast with her parents.

Brynhild comments "daughter, Spitelout sent us a marriage contract to sign."

Astrid ask "did you accept it?"

Magnus answers "no. You have until you turn twentieth birthday before we decide."

Astrid sighs "mom and dad? Snotlout held me by my throat demanding that I accept becoming his submitted house wife to anything he demands for."

Magnus scowls "he did what to you?!"

Astrid answers "he held me by my throat demanding that I accept becoming his submitted house wife to anything he wanted."

Brynhild comments "that settles it. I won't let you date a boy like that."

Magnus comments "ignorant little boy."

Astrid comments "Stoick won't let Snotlout date any girl until he turns twenty to learn how to treat a girl. Besides I'm engaged to marry Hiccup."

Magnus ask "how do you figure that when Stoick hasn't sent a marriage contract for your hand in marriage?"

Astrid blushes "because I proposed to Hiccup and he accepted it."

Magnus ask "what did you give him for him to accept you?"

Astrid sighs "it's a secret and I don't want to reveal because it could lead Snotlout to challenge Hiccup in a duel over jealousy."

Brynhild sighs "in order for the engagement to stand, Hiccup would have to propose to you with something that symbolizes proposal such as a betrothal pedant necklace or a ring and something of value that represents betrothal gift."

Magnus ask "I noticed you got a new double bladed axe. Did Gobber make it for you?"

Astrid shakes her head "no, Hiccup made it for me."

Brynhild grabs it to hold and gape "this is light."

Astrid grins "he made it out of Gronckle Iron and it's indestructible."

Brynhild ask "daughter? Is this your betrothal present from Hiccup?"

Astrid shakes her head "no. He just made it as a late birthday present."

Magnus ask "what is that around your neck?"

Astrid grins "a boyfriend necklace."
