It was clear to everyone that Cat Noir loved Marinette, and he certainly loved Ladybug. But when Grandma Gina brought over her cat for Cat and Marinette to watch while on one of her many travels, Cat knew that this was love at first sight.

"Cat, don't you want a snack?" Marinette asked, waving a hand in front of his face. "Hm?" "Kitty, Patches will still be here when you get back." "I'll be down in a minute," Cat said, and Marinette smiled as she climbed down the ladder.

Patches eyed Cat and begin to wash one silky white paw, purple ribbon tied perfectly around his neck. "I love you," Cat said, eyes all big. Though he was slightly jealous. How come he didn't get a purple ribbon for his neck? Purple was handsome color, and wouldn't Ladybug be impressed?

Patches stopped grooming and begin to knead Marinette's bed. Cat cocked his head. If Patches was going to settle down for a snooze, then the snack could wait, couldn't it?

"Patches! Here, Kitty, Kitty!" Marinette called. Patch's ears perked up and he jumped off the bed, much to Cat's dismay. Cat reached out a hand. "No, come back and snuggle!"

Cat gave an unhappy meow and followed more slowly down the ladder. Patches ate his bowl of tuna, and after a quick wash, settled down on Marinette's lap, snuggled in a warm blanket.

Cat watched from a distance, munching on a cookie and drinking a glass of milk. He eyed the cookie. Was it dry, or was he just jealous because he wanted tuna?

Abandoning his snack, Cat plopped down by Marinette's feet, tail swishing back and forth. He tried to get Patches attention, but the little cat was steadfastly ignoring him.

"Poor Kitty, rejected by your own," Marinette told him sympathetically, scratching his black ears. "Just love me, small cat," Cat pleaded. "Merrow," Patches growled. Marinette held back a silent giggle and stood up. "You can sleep in the cat bed for a bit," she told Patches.

"Come here, Kitty. Its time for scritches and cuddles." Cat's sadness stopped at once, and with a happy trill, climbed onto the couch and put his head in Marinetette's lap. Okay, so not every cat loved Cat Noir, but it didn't matter as long as his Princess did!
