Day One: When The Parents Are Away

Tom Dupan and Sabine Cheng were supposed to be gone all day. They were leaving Marinette at home since she wasn't feeling good. Marinette had told him to stay away from her, but Chat just could resist the urge to take care of his sick girlfriend. He grabbed a few of her favorite things before heading over. Chat decided to use the key Marinette had given him, instead of snaking in through her balcony like usual.

Carefully walking up the stairs, Chat opened the trapdoor to Marinette's room. All the blinds were half open, and Marinette was lying down on her chaise lounge. She seemed to be taking a nap so Chat carefully put the basket of goodies on her desk. He quietly sat down near the head of her chaise. She napped peacefully for about forty more minutes until she slowly opened her eyes.

She looked at him and looked annoyed. "I thought I told you to not come over."

"You did, but I decided that it would be cruel to leave a princess all by herself when she isn't feeling good," Chat replied, knowing it would be hard for her to argue with his logic.

After he finished talking, Marinette got a lovesick look on her face. "I don't deserve you."

"Correction, I don't deserve you, but I try my best to every day." That comment got him a pillow to the face, and his sick girlfriend turning bright red and shoving her face into another pillow. Chat chuckled at her being embarrassed by how he was treating her.

Despite major protests, Chat managed to get Marinette cuddled up in his lap as they watched a season and a half of Project Runway. She almost cried when Chat gave her the "get-well" basket he'd made her. They played a few games, and Marinette beat him every time (though Chat insists he was going easy on her). Marinette eventually fell asleep again so Chat carried her to her bed and laid her down.

He made sure to tuck her in and gave her a kiss on her forehead. Chat wrote a little note that he left on top of her phone and exited through the backdoor again. Two days later, Adrien came down with a cold. No one in the Agreste household had any idea how he got sick since he hadn't left the house in a week because he was grounded.

Adrien felt pretended to be just as clueless as everyone else, but he didn't regret a moment of the time he'd spent with Marinette. When Marinette found out, she was mad at him for not listening to her, but in all honesty, the gesture meant more to Marinette than she was willing to admit right now. At the moment, Marinette was going to remind him of how he should've listened to her, and Chat was going to spend the entire time blocking her out.

(It's funny how I'm writing this when I'm currently not feeling well. Now, I have an excuse to write all day.)
