Marinette paused as she walked by a group of students. One of them gave her a friendly wave. "Hey, Marinette, have you tried the new smoothie place yet?" she shook her head. "Oh, you need to go. They use real fruit and everyone is going there!" Marinette smiled. "I'll have to give it a try."
She was thinking of the smoothies when she came home to Cat, drinking a glass of milk. He put down though when he saw her long face. "What's wrong?" "Oh, there's this new smoothie place everyone's going to." "You mean, this one?" Cat asked, showing her the colorful brochure. "It looks so good, but how do we make you unrecognizable?" Cat nodded, and rested his chin on his hands.
If he went with Marinette, they were sure to be on the front cover of every gossip magazine in Paris tomorrow. With them being superheroes, they had to be careful. Though, when Marinette had gone to one of Adrien's parties a few weeks ago in a disguise the only one who had recognized her was Master Fu. Wait, that was it! Cat batted at Marinette's pigtail playfully. "I may have a solution-" "Disugies!" They both said at the same time.
Marinette grabbed Cat's hand, pulling him upstairs. "Let's see what we can find!"
"I didn't know your father bowled," Cat said, as he put on an orange and blue blowing shirt. Marinette slipped on a pink pauncho and giggled. "He took Mama there for a date once, but he did so bad, he vowed to never bowl again. "Why roll a heavy ball when I can roll dough instead?" she imitated her father's voice. Cat looked thoughtful. "We need to something to cover your face. What about this helmet?"
"I can't see anything! Hold my hand!" Marinette would crash into the lamppost if it wasn't for Cat pulling her out of the way. "See, I can be a Knight in Shining Leather." "I wasn't in distress." "You would have been if you'd hit the pole." "Okay."
Once they got to the shop, Cat noticed Marinette still kept his hand. "Could you add a bit of coffee to it?" she asked, when she ordered hers. Cat, who had ordered a strawberry one, trying to cover his laugh with a cough, but it came out a meow. Marinette could be feisty, and meow was she cute!
They clinked cups after exiting the store. "Smoothies acquired!" "Look, there's chairs over here." Cat took out his baton and turned on the camera once they sat down. "What are doing?" Marinette asked. "Well, we can take a picture, can't we?" Marinette heard a rustle in the bushes and a click.
"Guess we'll be on a front page somewhere," she sighed. Cat squeezed her hand. "Don't worry, Princess. Having a secret identity isn't all bad."
