Day Two: Medieval Festival
Marinette adjusted her hood to cover her face better as she stood behind the food stands in the market. If Marinette was being honest with herself, the only reason she came was to hopefully catch a glimpse of Adrien. He'd been muttering to himself on Thursday about attending so she wanted to coincidentally run into him and spend the whole day with him since his father was letting him out of the house.
She had wandered around for an hour but still couldn't find him. That's when she decided to take a break and talk to Tikki about what to do next. She'd grabbed a pretzel from one of the stands and was sharing the treat with her kwami. As Marineete was thinking about different ways she could figure out where Adrien was, a shadowy figure loomed over her.
Marinette lifted her head in surprise to see Chat Noir standing above her. "Hey there, Princess," he said, "What brings you to this fine festival?"
Marinette smacked his arm. "First off, don't scare me like, second, I'm looking for a friend, and third, what are you doing here?"
Chat Noir chuckled. "Sorry, Princess. Didn't mean to scare you. Anyways, I heard that there was a medieval festival in town and decided this was a purrfect way to spend my day off."
Marinette rolled her eyes at the cat pun but couldn't hold back the tiny giggle that left her lips. She had to appreciate the fact that Chat tried to disguise himself a tiny bit. He still wore his signature black mask, but his outfit was more huntsman instead of a superhero."Well, my friend seems to be evading me so how about we hang out for a bit?"
"I'd like that a lot, Princess." So Marinette and Chat Nori spent the entire day together. They watched the jousting tournament from a superhero view and watched a bunch of demonstrations as to how people usually did things in the medieval era. They ended the night dancing at a carole which made Marinette realize something.
When Chat Noir took her home, Marinette kissed him on the cheek and went downstairs. Marinette didn't know how long it had existed, but there was no doubt about it. Marinette was in love with Chat Noir.
(I know nothing about medieval festivals, but I tried. I'm feeling much better now and will try to catch up on the days that I've missed. I'm probably going to miss more cause finals are coming up, and my grades come first)
