Hiccup and Astrid turned eighteen.

They been gone for a year.

Hiccup and Astrid went on dates and made love until Valka caught Hiccup making moon tea for Astrid and had to explain how long it's been for on.

Hiccup ask "say, milady? Do you want to visit your parents and see how their doing?"

Astrid sighs "I do think about them and wonder if they miss me."

Hiccup comments "we can go there, but I would have to stay at the forge only to work because I'm exiled from Berk."

Astrid curious ask "what happened in the Meade hall with Spitelout?"

Hiccup sighs "my uncle went behind my father's back and got the council members to agree to exile me."

Astrid sighs and hugs him.

They walk in the main room where the river runs through the island.

Valka ask "what are you kids upto?"

Hiccup answers "mom? We want to visit Berk."

Valka comments "be careful out there."

Hiccup and Astrid leave Dragon Sanctuary on their dragons.

Astrid comments "I think we could use more dragon ridsers to those dragon trappers."

Hiccup comments "I think your right on that."

Astrid grins "I know Fishlegs and the twins would help. I know Snotlout wouldn't help us because he's jealous of you."

Hiccup comments "I can guarantee that he would probably demand your parents finalized the marriage contract."

Astrid comments "if they force me to marry him, we're leaving to get married in another tribe."

An hour and a half later, they enter a Berk territory.

Astrid comments "I'm nervous about seeing my parents again."

Hiccup comments "I'm surprised my mom didn't tell me to marry you after she busted me making you moon tea."

Astrid smirks "you could marry me and we can keep it a secret from Berk."

Hiccup ask "who would marry us?"

Astrid comments "that's a good question. Do you think elder Gothi could marry us in secret?"

Hiccup comments "it's possible that elder Gothi could marry us."

Soon they see island of Berk.

Astrid sighs "let's land in the cove because only your father knows the way to the cove and me."

They fly to the cove and land.

Hiccup comments "stay here and I'll send a terror to let you know if it's safe."

Astrid kisses him.

Hiccup leaves the cove and runs through the forest to get to the village.

Twenty minutes later, Hiccup reach the village.

He walks down past his dad's house and sees everyone doing their own thing.

He walks down the steps and goes looking for his father.

He stops by the forge to see Gobber working on a sword and ask "do you know where my dad is, Gobber?"

Gobber stops hammering on a sword to see Hiccup and ask "Iccup?"

Hiccup grins "yes."

Gobber hugs him and ask "where's Astrid? Her parents are in a situation where Snotlout demands they sign her over to him."

Hiccup walks back to his private room and opens a box with a key and pulls out a wedding ring and engagement ring and says "I hope Astrid would consider being my fake wife."

He walks back to the front counter and ask "Gobber? Can you get elder Gothi to write up a marriage paper for me and Astrid stating that we got married a week ago?"

Gobber ask "and why I do that for you?"

Hiccup sighs "I plan on marrying Astrid in the future. This would protect her from Snotlout and other men that want her."

Gobber comments "I don't feel comfortable having elder Gothi write up a marriage paper when villagers would want answers and a story."

Hiccup sighs "fine. I need to check-in with Astrid's parents."

He leaves the forge and walks over to the Hofferson's house.

Ten minutes later, he reached Hofferson's house and knocks on the door.

The door opens up to reveal Magnus.

Magnus sternly says "you better not return to tell me that you knocked up my daughter and not married her."

Hiccup gulps "no, she's not pregnant. We returned because she was worried about you two."

Magnus sighs "she wrote me a letter saying that you two consummate."

Hiccup sighs "is she safe to return home?"

Brynhild comes to the door and says "Snotlout demanded that we finalize the marriage contract. We burned it in our fireplace."

Hiccup ask "what did Snotlout do?"

Magnus says "Spitelout left scowling in rage that we returned the money."

Hiccup curious ask "what made you return the money?"

Magnus grumbles "you took away our daughter's purity before marriage ceremony and paid her bride price and everything. So we had to give her to you. We didn't tell Spitelout or Snotlout that you two consummated in secret."

Hiccup sighs "Spitelout spread word to other villages that I was exile from Berk for training a Night Fury and chiefs won't marry us because of it. I have to wait until the five years is up."

Magnus curious ask "where's my daughter anyways?"

Hiccup grins "back at our secret cove in the forest. And to let you both know, me and Astrid consummated once a month on our dates because we been fighting dragon trappers for twelve months."

Magnus and Brynhild gape "have you been making her drink moon tea afterwards?!"

Hiccup answers "yes. I been having her drink moon tea because mom hasn't found a village that would married us."

A voice interrupts them "Hiccup? You told me that you would send a terror to me if it was safe to return! It's been a half an hour."

Hiccup turns around to see Astrid standing there and sighs "milady? I haven't checked in with my dad. I don't know if it's safe."

Brynhild comments "daughter? Get in here now! Both of you!"

Astrid follows Hiccup inside the Hofferson's house.

Brynhild hugs her daughter "we know your safe with Hiccup."

Astrid smiles "it's okay, mom. I been helping Hiccup. I left because Snotlout was trying to make me his house wife instead of let me be me and enjoy life."

Hiccup comments "I don't know why she decided to want me after I turned away from her and everyone else."

Astrid grins "your a better choice than Snotlout and your not grabbing me when I don't feel like it."

Magnus comments "we missed you daughter. You been gone a year."

(In the Meade hall)

Gobber walks upto Stoick's table and says "I thought you should know that Hiccup returned to visit Berk, Stoick."

Stoick ask "my son returned?"

Spitelout scowls "he has two more years before he's allowed back!"

Gobber scowls "he can return when he wants because he can make good weapons!"

Spitelout scowls "not anymore!"

Stoick command "Spitelout! I didn't banish my son because he trained a dragon and his dragon saved him along with Astrid's Nadder! If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have a son anymore!"

Spitelout shuts up and leaves "I'm issuing chief rule for your son to leave and never return for three years because he keeps returning without permission!"

Stoick gape "you can't do that!"

Spitelout scowls "then do it or else your weak!"

Stoick sighs and turns to Gobber and says "go tell Hiccup."

Spitelout grins "and one more thing. Astrid Hofferson is ban from leaving with him or she won't be allowed to come back forever."

Gobber sighs and leaves the Meade hall to go find Hiccup.

After Gobber told Hiccup, Astrid cried her heart out because Hiccup was forced to leave for three more years.
