"So, what do we do now, take a nap?" I yawn, ready to settle down for a long snooze. Hey, if we're going to be stuck in the dark, its the perfect time for napping. "Don't doze off just yet, Kitty," I hear Ladybug's voice. Or is it Marinette's? "Either the magic is being disrupted somehow, or this is some kind of a test."

My ears perk up, and walk over to her. But as I do, my head bumps into something solid. "Ouch! What was that?" "Cat, can you find my hand?" I find her little hand and I notice it trembling slightly. "M'lady," I say, giving her hand a quick kiss. "It feels like some kind of canvas, like the ones I use at home."

I know Marinette likes to sketch, but as long as I've known her, all she uses is sketchpads. "Wait! Cat, I have an idea! Spots On!"

I catch a quick glance of her in the pink glow, but then she disappears again. "Lucky Charm! Okay, Kitty, let's see how good your eyes are." "Looks like it gave you a box full of art supplies." I hear her clap her hands. "Let's make a picture of our future, Kitty." I scratch my head, and one of my ear gives a quick little flap in confusion. "I'm not sure I'm following, Bugaboo." "Our future is still uncertain, but we could paint it right here and now. Where we want to live, children, what we want to do with our lives….." I open my mouth to joke, but she stops me. "And no, napping is not a professional position." She snorts, then starts giggling as I meow unhappily and cross my arms. "Should be."

"Let's start with the basics. Where have you always wanted to live?" "The answer may surprise you." "Cat, you can tell me anything." "All of my life I've been told what to do, how to act, what to say. Like I'm some sort of a puppet, and someone has been always pulling the strings." "Cat…." her voice is soft. "Now, I get to cut those strings and live on a deserted island, where I make the rules and build my own life from scratch. I know its not the soft life at least not at first, but Paris doesn't appeal to me anymore."

The silence in this void roars in my ears, and I wonder if I've hurt Ladybug's feelings. "Ladybug, I didn't mean all of the memories are bad. The happiest memories I have are after I met you, both with and without the mask."

I feel Ladybug slip her hand into mine, intertwining our fingers and squeezing hard. "As long as we're telling secrets, I've wanted to move on a island too. Its just so hard to know these days who actually loves me, and not just because of my Ladybug status. You know, fans that just want a picture or a autograph that they can sell….." "If that's all they wanted, they were never fans of you." "Cat?" Ladybug laughs a shaky laugh, but I don't think she means for her next words to be funny. "Remember how I was a super fan of yours?" "Mm-hm," I begin to stroke her thumb with my finger. "Want I really wanted to tell you was what a super friend you are. When we lost the Miraculous for the first time, our roles reserved, and you always knew what to say to make me feel better. You were always there with a hug, a gentle smile or a kiss. Even if it was a long time ago, thank you."

I turn her slightly, so she's cuddled in my arms, and we share a long kiss. "When I sick," I whisper as my forehead touches hers, "my mother told me that even if the person is gone they will always be your heart." "Let's get back to the mural, shall we?" "Couldn't we draw some catnip?" I grin, trying to lighten the mood. I can almost hear her eyes, and I grin.

When we're finished, a cabin stands in a small grove of trees, and there's a small garden close by. The sea is close by too, and you can almost hear the call of seabirds wheeling in the air. With her magical paintbrush Ladybug draws three kids. "What about a cat?" I ask, as she works on a friendly looking dog. "I already have a cat. You." "Are you saying I'm hard to take care of…." "Only sometimes." I mock pout and my tail swishes from side to side. "Are you pouting?" she asks, and my eyes fly open in surprise.

"Its pitch dark in here. How can you see me?" Ladybug laughs. "Trust me. I've known you long enough to know when your pouting…." Ladybug's voice trails off, and I leap up thinking something is wrong.

"Cat, did the picture...did it just move?" The picture is moving and coming to life. You can hear the rush of the ocean, the swish swish of waves. And oh, the birds…..uh-oh.

With an unhappy meow I plop down on my bottom. "Poor Kitty," Ladybug scratches my ear. "Not only are we stuck in the dark, now you have to listen to those evil birds….boy, your purr is loud!"

Her hands scratching my ears is a sure way to fire up the purr, and now I barely notice the birds. "Harder. Harder. Maybe a little to the left…." We look at the mural we've created, and I know we're smiling at each other. "Looks like with a bit of hard work and some luck, that looks like a pretty good life, doesn't, honey?"

"Well, your the one with luck on your side." "Hey, I like black cats. Your perfect just the way you are." "If we ever get out of here, I'm holding you to that promise for one day. And you can't whack me with the pillow." "Aw, but whacking you is so much fun!"

"Sounds like our two heroes are having a little to much fun in here," a familiar voice says, and we leap up as Marmie steps through the portal. "Come on, you two. You passed the test." She leads us out of the portal and into a beautiful garden where lunch is being set up. "So, it was a test. But why?" "Life can be challenging, and its so easy to throw in the towel. We wanted to see what you would do if you were trapped for a length of time. Clearly, you two are meant for each other."

I nudge Ladybug and give her a green-eyed wink. "See, you and me, it was meant to be. Oof!"

I find myself in the lush green grass as Ladybug tackles me and begins to tickle me. "I can see you now, fur ball!"

Marmie slips away, and soon we sit up. I stare at Ladybug, giving slow blinks. Her cheeks bloom into a pink blush and she lightly shoves me. "What?" "How about a kiss?" "Okay." She looks around before we do, but we're totally alone. Our kiss sweet as first, but the passion we have for each other is ignited, and soon I'm biting Ladybug's lip gently. I explore her mouth, which is sweet as honey.

"Kitty." she rests her hands on my chest, and lightly starts to move her hands down to my belt. I nod, and she tugs it off, and climbs onto me. We fall asleep in the grass, a single bird chirping above us.

My chest rises up and down, and I feel warm and happy as M'lady sleeps on me. A dinner bell sounds floats on the wind, and we stir. "You hungry?" I ask. "Yes, but not just for food. Cat, I want…." her voice trails off and I know what she wants. She's ready to start a family and make the mural we made a reality.

When we finish the meal, Marmie reappears. "You'll be taking a night flight to Tibet, and your mother should be well again soon." I reach across the table for Ladybug's hand.

"When do we leave?" "Right now."

Its nearly dark by the time we reach the plane, lit up on the runway. But there isn't anyone on the plane. "Oh, its a self-flying plane." "So, we'll be totally alone?" "Yes. But don't worry, we'll be keeping on an eye on things, but only if we see a alert."

She shows us around. There's a small kitchen, a bathroom, and a small cabin. I look at the bed and at Marinette, and she sees peeking up at me.

"Well, I think that's all. Have a good flight and take care of yourselves." Once the plane is in the air, I check out the snack cabinet. "You can't possibly be hungry yet," Marinette teases me. "I am but not for food," I tell her, and lift her into my arms. "Still sleepy?" "Not a bit."

"Time we clean ourselves up a bit, wouldn't you say?" I keep her cuddled to my chest and find the bathroom.

Once the door shuts, the electric begins to crackle between us. "This is nice," I place my hand on Marinette's top. "But I don't think will be needing it for awhile." I slowly undo the buttons, keeping my eyes on hers. A red bra greets me, but I make short work of taking it off. Her breasts are perfect, and gently I fondle them in my hands. I start to knead them, and Marinette tips her head back groaning.

"Adrien….." I make short work of the rest of her clothes. "Come on, we need a shower." I fiddle with the taps until the water is perfect, then we walk in. My clothes come off quickly, but there forgotten in a heap.

I take a dollop of shampoo and work it into a lather. Marinette is standing under the spray. "Stay still," I tell her and begin to work the suds into her hair. She leans back against my chest, oh, the night we're going to have…...
