A Bell UH-1 Iroquois flies over the command center as a team of Apaches head to Manhattan.

"Brown!" Hicks called out entering the tent. "Where are they now?"

"Delta-Niner, what is convoy position?" Brown contacted.

"Command, they have just entered the city." A solider responded.

A team of city dump trucks head into the city.

A team of Apaches flew overhead as a military were getting ready to put their plan into action.

"I have no radio contact with the convoy." O'Neal said. "I'm expecting ground confirmation right now."

"Sir, convoy E.T.A. 10 minutes, sir." A soldier reported.

"All right, we gotta hurry." O'Neal said. "Here we go."

On a rooftop, other soldiers got ready as a forklift maneuvers a K-Rail to several others forming a ring.

"Man your positions now." O'Neal called out over a radio. "Go, go, go! 10 minutes to E.T.A. All systems go!"

A helicopter whirred overhead as soldiers got their equipment ready, and a TV statics as it turns on.

Among them, one of Roache's men, Jean-Luc, in a military jacket placed a device on one of the antennas and turns it on.

"Is it good?" He called in a whispered.

"Oui." Jean-Claude called.

At the military base in Jersery, a Humvee enters the base.

"Let's go. Let's go." A soldier said as it drove by. "Come on. Move it through. Down. Put it down."

In a nearby hotel, Roache's team were based on a room as Jean-Claude turns a screen on as it static and clicked as he made some adjustments. And soon have visual on the square were the military was getting ready.

"We have picture, you can leave Jean Luc." Jean-Claude said in French and turns to Roache. "We have a signal, sir."

Roache sat as he took a sip of his coffee and slurps, but then groans. "You said this was French Roast."

"Ben, qui, regardez." Jean-Pierre held out a French Roast container. "C'est marque French Roast."

Roache lightly grunted turning to his mug. "More cream."

Meanwhile, everything was almost ready with the military team.

"All right, people." A solider said. "Let's get into position."

At a vending machine for camera films, Nick soon grabs a roll for his camera.

"Let's go now!" A solider said. "Now, now!"

Nicks heads off as the dump trucks begins to move into position.

"Bring 'em in!" O'Neal yelled. "Bring 'em back. Whoa!"

Nicks works his camera as it clicks as it joins him as Chris appeared.

"I sure hope this plan of yours work." O'Neal said.

"Kind of hopin' that myself." Nick said.

"Just hope it's enough." Chris said.

Meanwhile, Ebert and Gene wander through the base.

"Did you get approval for this?" Ebert asked.

"They just appropriated it." Gene said.

"12 of the city's dump truck." Ebert said to Hicks. "Would you like to tell me what's goin' on around here?"

"Actually, no, I wouldn't." Hicks said. "And don't touch anything." He then wanders over to a solider working on comms. "How's O'Neal doing?"

"Everything is on schedule, sir." He reported.

"You sure you didn't know about this?" Ebert asked.

"No." Gene said. "No one told me anything about this."

"Why do I even keep you around?" Ebert inquired.

Gene turns to him.

At the site, the dump truck's dump-beds angle ready to dump.

"Dump!" O'Neal gave the word.

The dump trucks' tailgates opened as hundreds of fish were dropped into the inside of the K-Rail ring.

From their secret base, Jean Claude watches and turns to Roache smoking a cigarette.

"Tres, bizarre, non?" He frowned.

"No." Roache said knowing the strategy. "Very clever."

Soon, a few soldiers tossed a few fish into the large pile as their bait trap is now set.

"All right, let's pile it on, and let's get outta here." O'Neal said.

"All right, you heard the man." A soldier said as O'Neal joins Nick, Chris and Martin. "Let's go!"

"That's a lot of fish." Nick commented.

"Yep. 14,000 pounds of it to be exact." Martin said.

"Should be enough to attract him." Chris said.

O'Neal turns to them.

"Come on now." A soldier said. "Clear it up. Let's go."

Over an hour later, thunder crashed as it rains and everyone was in position and waiting for the creature to appear. They all remain alert keeping eyes on the bait trap as O'Neal looks through binoculars seeing it, and was getting impatient.

On the street, everyone else remains posed and ready as Nick checks his watch seeing it was six to 9:00. The Wild Kratts too were also getting a little impatient, despite they done similar things with animals hundreds of times already. And during the waiting game, Jimmy had fallen asleep.

"Should've been here by now." Martin said. "Where is he?"

At the base, everyone else was waiting for the creature to show up.

"Three, seven, one-"

"Come on, you bastard." Hicks said. "It's suppertime."

The screen beeps as the fish bait remains untouched.

"Look at all that friggin' fish." Ebert said impatiently. "Is this gonna work?

Back on the street, everyone remains ready.

"Maybe he hasn't the fish just yet somehow." Chris said.

Realizing he has a point, Nick looks around and noticed steam spewing out through the holes on the manhole covers on the street. He then got up and heads out seeing them as O'Neal saw him through his binoculars.

Nick turns back to some of the soldiers as Martin nudged Jimmy.

"Huh?" Jimmy woke up.

"We gotta get these manholes uncovered." Nick said as a few soldiers turn to him. "We want him to smell the bait. Come on!"

They then followed him along the Wild Kratts.

"Let's go! Let's go!" A soldier said.

"Aye, aye, sonny!" Another said.

They jogged over to the nearest manhole as one solider trains his assault rifle incase something happens.

"Come on, guys." A soldier said.

One soldier hooks the cover with a crowbar, and soon moves aside as another shines a light down through it.

Soon, other soldiers rushed to open a few other manholes.

"Let's get those lids off!" A soldier yelled. "Go, go, go!"

From their rooftop vantage point, O'Neal saw this.

"What the hell is he doing?" He said.

"Let's open a few down that way." Chris said pointing down a street and heads down.

"Okay, uh, this way." Nick said following him. "This way. Come on."

"You heard him." A soldier said. "Go!"

"Come on!" Another soldier said as they followed. "Over there!"

"This one." Nick gestured to a manhole that got to.

"Yes, sir." A soldier said.

They begin to open it as Nick spots one not too far from the site.

"Give me the crowbar." Nick said.

"Sir." A soldier said handing Nick the crowbar.

Nick heads over to the manhole as the Wild Kratts followed him as they got to it. And Nick hooks the crowbar to the cover and grunts as they moved it aside.

"Okay, that should do it." Martin said.

They were then about to leave when then a strange growling sound was heard below as they frowned as a groaning sound followed. The groaning continues as they stare down at the manhole and then looked ahead growing nervous.

Then the street showed a growing crack as it rips across the pavement like paper and soon spreads by them as they watched it go. They then turn back to each other and then back to the manhole as growling as heard as Chris and Martin shined their CreaturePod flashlights down it.

Then a roar shot through the manhole as a slime-like substance flew out making them jump back.

"Uh..." Jimmy stuttered stepping back.

They nervously stepped back and then suddenly large sections of the street rose up as they took off running as then a large squarish blocky head rose up. Soldiers in the distance shouted as Nick and the Wild Kratts ran, and then a large section of pavement with the manhole landed in front of them as Jimmy smacked into it and they turned back to the creature as it's large man-like torso hauls itself and a large arm with a 4-fingered right hand with claws lands on the street with a heavy thud as the creature growled and lifts it's enormous T. Rex-like left leg out from the gap and stomps down with a thud.

Nick and the Wild Kratts were then stunned of what they were seeing.

The creature bellows out revealing itself as pieces of pavement rained down as it's blocky-box shaped head with a thick protruding lower jaw like a "proud chin" was attached to a large neck with a lower dewlap. Grayish-brown scale coloration, a set of dorsal plates on it's back as 2 on it's shoulders curved forward and has green eyes. And it stood 180 feet tall, 300 feet long, half that length is tail, and looks to be 500 tons of sheer intimidation.

The monster reptile growled as it looks around.

"Oh, wow." Martin said bewildered. "That's big."

"He's gigantic." Aviva said.

"Yeah, yeah. He's big." Jimmy trembled hiding behind pavement peaking over the manhole. "Can we go?"

"Hang on a second." Chris said grabbing his CreaturePod. "Easy, buddy, let me get some footage."

Nick too also brought his camera out and got it ready as the creature softly growled, and soon both he and Chris took a picture of it as the camera and CreaturePod flashed. And that got the creature's attention with a "Hmm?"-like groan as he turns to them. And Nick and Chris soon saw their mistake with widen eyes as the giant reptile stares at them.

"Uh..." Chris turns to his CreaturePod.

He then swiftly hid his CreaturePod behind his back nervously chuckling.

The monster reptile lowers down towards as they stepped back nervously as it's enormous head hovers just few feet from them.

Close by behind them, two soldiers head into position.

The creature continues staring at Nick and the Wild Kratts softly chittering showing no signs of aggression as he looked more curious.

"Set up here." A soldier said softly. "Your best shot."

Nick looked over seeing two soldiers by a taxi and gasped and then signals them to stand down. A soldier saw this as Nick then signals him not to shoot.

"We're nothing more than part of the insect world to him." Chris said.

Nick turns back to the creature as it growled, and then he bellows out a loud ear-piercing roar at them as the wind gusts of the roar blew pass them as a few fish flew out of his mouth. And Nick groaned from the creature's fish breath.

"Ugh, you need a 2-ton breath mint." Koki said holding her nose.

Soon, the creature's curiosity was satisfied and he got up as they watched him stride off with heavy thuds with each footstep.

At the base, the screen beeped as it showed the creature's position heading to the fish bait.

"This is Six-Alpha-Charlie. we gotta move. We can't stay put! We gotta move!"

Hicks and everyone watched as the creature's position got closer to the bait trap.

On the rooftop, loud thuds were heard as O'Neal and saw the monster reptile striding by as he growled as the soldiers watched him.

And O'Neal was in complete shock and awe as he walks off, and then the creature's tail swung hitting an antenna as they shouted and ducked. And the creature's tail tip brushed against the side of a building breaking through the wall leaving a long gap in it's side.

Below, other soldiers rushed around as one tripped falling as his rifled discharged. The soldiers rushed out of the creature's path as it growled and stomps by.

"Get to your weapons!" A soldier yelled. "Get to your weapons!"

A few other soldiers watched as the mighty reptilian colossus approaching the fish.

"Go! Go!" A soldier yelled.

The reptile soon stands over his free meal and sniffs the fish ignoring the spotlights shining around, and soon he starts taking huge mouthfuls of fish as he eats.

Nick and the Wild Kratts soon arrived back.

"Come on. This way. This way." A soldier yelled. "Come on. Come on!"

They peaked behind a James Madison statue and watch the creature eating and was already half-finish as a few soldiers rushed by.

"Let's go." A soldier yelled. "Fall back now!"

"Wow." Chris said amazed. "A new species in front of us."

Nick readies his camera takes a picture of it, and soon takes another.

"Let's go! Let's go!" A soldier yelled.

On the rooftop, O'Neal peaks over the rail and saw the creature as a few other soldiers got up.

"We need... bigger guns." O'Neal said.

At the base, the screen was all messed up likely from the creature's tail taking out the antenna.

"We've lost communications, sir." A soldier said.

"Get us back online." Hicks said. "Fire at will!"

"Sergeant,-" He reported.

"-fire at will."

O'Neal quickly grabbed his microphone. "Fi- Right- FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!"

The soldiers then fired their weapons as well as tanks as the creature turns to them shrieking as the bullets and other weapons struck the softer skin by the underside of his tail and right leg. And other bullets ricocheting as they struck the thicker scales, and 2 missiles were launched from a M270 MRLS as the reptile ducks as they stuck a building as it explodes and Nick gasped shielding his head.

The building explodes as debris rains down as some soldiers groaned. as they struck down hard near them. And more of the building explodes as O'Neal saw this.

Then the creature got up as his head breaks a section of another building off as he takes off running.

"Outta the way!" Chris yelled.

They then fled as Nick tripped over a lamp post knocked down

"Oh. Oof!" He hits the pavement.

And the creature's left toe brushes the James Madison statue twirled around and Nick flips over seeing it tip over as he gasped shielding his face. And then the statue lands over him reverberating.

The reptile shrieks as he flees through the street as soldiers fired at him and others ran. They soon all ran as the creature's right foot lands on top of a tank and it explodes as it knocks another tank aside as soldiers flee for cover.

A pair of Humvees chase after the titan as gunnermans fired at him as he flee, and then he stops turns towards them as they continue firing. And then he shrieks out generating a strong wind by 2 cars on fire as then a massive stream of fire flew towards them as the soldiers screamed shielding themselves as the Humvees soon vanished in the flames.

"O'Neal, you better tell me what the hell is going on." Hicks contacted him.

"He's-He's gone, sir." O'Neal responded. "He's gone. He's g-g- Echo unit in pursuit!"

The monster reptile flees through the maze of buildings as a trio of AH-64 Apaches appeared and chased after him as he roared.

"Follow my lead." Echo-1 said.

Turning at a bend of a building, they soon caught up with the creature as he roared and takes off running as the tip of his tail brushes the side of a building. And they soon follow him as the tail tip hits another building side, and they followed him through the maze of buildings.

"All systems armed." Echo-1 announced.

"Echo-4 armed." Another pilot announced.

The giant reptile bellowed as he ran through the narrow street of the building maze as his shoulder grazes a building side.

"We're doing 80 knots, and he's pulling away, sir." Echo-4 said as they followed him through a straight-away street as the creature was quickly outrunning them.

"I've got him locked on." Echo-1 announced.

"Locked on, sir." A soldier announced. "Target is locked on."

"Fire the damn missile." Hicks ordered.

"Echo 1 through 4, fire at will." A pilot announced as the creatures onto a building rooftop.

"Fire sidewinders." Echo-1 announced.

He then fires two Sidewinder missiles as they fly towards their target.

The titan reptile saw them as he lightly roared, and then he ducks and dives down as the missiles swiftly flew by him. And the missiles flew towards the Chrysler Building, and soon struck near the base of the tower as glass shattered as the tower explodes as the three pilots watched in horror as the tower soon tips over and falls.

Below, a Humvee team soon saw the falling tower.

"Move, move, move, move!" A soldier yelled as they then stopped seeing it.

"Go now! Go now!" Another yelled.

They shouted as they cleared out of the Humvee and ran as the tower soon crashes onto the street as they ran and the tower's antenna hits a Humvee.

"Aw, damn." Echo-1 said. "Uh - That is a negative impact. I repeat: negative-"

"-impact."

"Negative impact, sir." The soldier reported.

"Negative impact?" Ebert said in disbelief. "That's the goddamn Chrysler Building we're talking about."

"You told me he had it locked on." Hicks said.

"Echo 1, we had you locked on!" The soldiers said confused.

"The heat seekers can't lock, sir." Echo 1 said as his screen fails to lock onto the creature. "He's colder than the buildings around him."

At a TV store, a TV actress screams out as one played It Came From Beneath The Sea as it showed the scene of the giant octopus attacking the Golden Gate Bridge.

"Freddie!" A thief called out grabbing some cameras. "Freddie! FREDDIE!"

"What? What?" Freddie yelled.

"Let's go before we get caught!" The thief said.

"Jimmy." Freddie said rushing to him. "You know that bad feeling I get when something really bad is gonna happen?"

"Yeah." Jimmy said as they hurry to their truck.

"I'm gettin' that feeling right now, man." Freddie said.

Then rumbling was heard approaching as they looked and then beyond shocked as they saw the creature charging towards them at full speed of 200 miles per hour as he roared. And Freddie and Jimmy quickly leaped out of the way as the creature's left foot stomps on top of their truck and lifts up was it was crushed flat.

"Descend to 300 feet." Echo-1 ordered. "Lasers on. All systems on."

"Target 11:00." Echo-2 said.

The giant reptile flee as his right shoulder brushes a building as the first two Apaches fired machines guns at him. And the creatures shrieks and takes off running through the maze of buildings as they continued firing as he through the buildings as the bullets rained at him. The Apaches continued firing as flees throughs the many turns of streets and buildings, and they soon ceased fire as they lost sight of him.

"Where'd he go?" Echo 2 wondered.

They flew by a damaged section of a building as the blades whirred from the other Apaches as they noticed a large gap on a building side as the creature made when plowing through. And they approach it as then shrieking was heard from the creature.

"Echo Flight, get it together, guys." Echo 1 said. "Prepare to fire."

"Echo 4, ready." Echo-4 announced.

"Echo 2, ready." Echo-2 announced.

They then hovered on front of the gap.

"Fire!" Echo-1 ordered.

They then fired everything they got into the building, bullets, missiles and everything as the reptile inside was heard roaring and groaning out loudly. Explosions plume out heavily as they then ceased fire as the creature roared once more and the flames die down as the Apaches hovered.

"I think we got him." Echo 1 beamed.

Suddenly the building behind them broke apart as Echo 1 looked back and saw the titan reptile plowing through and then lifting his left hand he then swats the helicopter as it flew and crashed into the side of the building and explodes. The other Apaches turn to flee as the creature chomps on Echo 2's Apache.

"We've lost Echo 1 and 2, sir." A soldier announced.

"GOD!" Hicks angrily yelled.

"Echo 4, where is target?" Another asked.

The reptilian colossus roared as he chased and snaps at the dodging Apache.

"Oh, Jesus!" Echo 4 cried. "He's right on my tail, sir."

He continues dodging the snapping jaws of the reptile as he tries to catch him.

"I don't think I can shake him!" Echo 4 cried.

He continues dodging the reptile's jaws as he quickly banks right as the monster barely missed him. Echo 4 looked back and banks a sharp right turn by some buildings, and looks back again seeing no sign of the creature.

"Ohh, oh- I think I lost him." He said relieved.

Echo 4's Apache flew through the air as the creature crouch low and then lunges up snatching the helicopter and crushes it in his jaws as the propeller twirled upward.

In the base, pinging was only heard.

"We've, uh, we've lost Echo 4, sir." A soldier announced.

"What the hell is the matter with you, people?" Ebert angrily said. "YOU'VE CAUSED MORE DAMAGE THAN THAT GODDAMN THING DID!"

"All right, Mayor. Calm down." Gene brought out a Hersey's Kisses bag. "Have some candy." He tried to cheer him up a little.

"I don't want any candy!" Ebert knocked the bag out from his hand. "Leave me alone."

The monster reptile leaps onto the side of a building and roars out. And then he roars out loudly as lightning flashed as his calls rang throughout the city as thunder rumbled.

Back at the site, Nick uses a capsule to gather a drop of blood from the creature.

"I have two K.I.A., two wounded, one M.I.A." A soldier reported.

"I-I can't believe it." O'Neal said joining next to him along with Martin. "I mean- He did all of this, and, uh, we did nothin' to him."

"Oh, that's not true." Nick said. "We fed him."

The entire K-Rail ring was nearly cleaned out from the fish the creature ate.

"At least he's not going hungry at the moment." Martin said.

Author's Note:

And finally, Godzilla himself is revealed. I must admit, Emmerich did good with his Godzilla introduction. I also liked how he used a few shots of a Godzilla animatronic.

I feel like almost Emmerich gave that dinosaur-like appearance as he was making a more agile and faster version of Godzilla.

And I may know how the blast on this Godzilla works. He may have only fired twice, but you watch both scenes in slow-mo and watch carefully enough, you'll notice that when he roars, the 2 flaming cars were enough to trigger the blast. Even a spark can make it happen.
