Day Seven: "I'm Sorry" Kiss
Chat smacked himself hard on his forehead when it finally hit him. Idiot! was his immediate reaction. He knew that it was suppose to happen any day now, but how could he have not picked up on it sooner?! That explained her more quiet and reserved behavior in class today. She was usually so talkative and friendly and only got like this around this time of the month.
Chat Noir hurried to grab as much stuff as he could to make up for the fact that he forgot. When he landed on Marinette's balcony with a bunch of bags hanging on his arms. He gently tapped on her trapdoor in hopes of not disturbing her too much. When there was no answer, Chat gently lifted the door open and entered her room.
It didn't take long to find Marinette lying on her chaise, her face buried in a pillow. He quietly crept over to her and set down all the bags he was carrying. "Princess," he said quietly, "Are you awake?"
Marinette turned around to face him. Chat did his best not to laugh at her pouty face. She was clearly upset with him, but she was too cute sometimes. "I'm mad at you," was all she said before turning around again.
Chat sat down next to the chaise. "Why are you mad at me?"
"Cause you forgot and broke your promise."
Chat gently stroked her back. "But I remembered and hurried over here. I even brought you all your favorite kinds of foods." Marinette turned around to face him again. This time she had tears running down her face, and Chat felt his heartbreak. He hated it whenever Marinette cried, no matter the reason.
He sat on the chaise and pulled her into a hug. "I'm really sorry, Princess. I didn't mean to forget or not notice." He kissed the inner corner of her eye to make the tears stop. "I'll stay with you for as long as you like. Promise."
She sniffed before saying, "Will stay with me until my period stops?"
Chat pulled her closer to him and kept peppering her face with kisses. "If that's what you want then I'll stay."
Marinette turned her face up towards him. "What about school or your family? Someone's gonna notice and get suspicious."
"I'll just tell them I was spending time with my girlfriend. They won't be able to argue with that." Marinette giggled as she snuggled closer to him. They stayed like that for the next few hours until both of them fell asleep.
