Steven gazes at the pillar, drawing a deep breath. A newfound confidence emerges in his voice, though still layered with emotion, as he stood up again.

STEVEN

(Serious)

I'm going to do it, Mom. At least you can handle living on with the gems with me gone. I've never been a believer in the gods, but I hope I reunite with my family and friends in Elysium.

He offers a small, sad smile, then stands and wipes away his tears.

STEVEN

(continuous)

But first, I have a funeral to attend.

His voice trembles with emotion as he heads toward the room's exit. Before leaving, he turns back to the pillar with a smile.

STEVEN

(Smiling)

Thank you for listening to me, Mom. I really needed it.

Steven pauses, his voice still hesitant and filled with a mix of emotions.

STEVEN

(Smiling)

I'll be back soon.

With a single thought, Steven uses his powers to make the contents of the room disappear, erasing any evidence of his visit. And with a heavy heart, he leaves the room, and the door closes behind him
