Few years later, their house is no longer as small as it was before, they now have a big white house. Almost everything in their house is white. The floors, the walls, even their bedroom is white. Humphrey and Kate had just woken up and started getting ready for work. Humphrey was the first one to be ready. He was in the dining room, reading the newspaper. Kate had just got done getting dressed and then walked up to him and they kissed each other on the lips and then Kate went to the kitchen. "Do we have any milk left?" Kate said as she kneeled down and opened a cabinet. "Uhh, I don't know, I'm sure we had some somewhere." Humphrey said. Kate finds something and then takes out a box and then places it on the counter. "Hey, look what I found." Humphrey put the newspaper down to see what is it. Kate opened the box and it was the broken wedding cake figures of them. "Oh…I never got a chance to fix them, I'm sorry." Humphrey said, disappointed. "It's okay, we just…we just have been so busy these past years, I mean…, when was the last time we baked something." Kate said, looking at him. Kate's phone vibrates, she pulls her phone out and gets a message from her workplace. "Oh I have to go." Kate quickly gave Humphrey a kiss on the cheek and went to get her bag. Humphrey looked at the broken figures and then thought of something. "We should bake something then." Humphrey said as he walked up to her. "What, you mean now?" Kate asked. All Humphrey did was smile nervously. Kate was starting to like the idea but then her phone vibrates again, knowing it was from her workplace. "Sorry, you know I can't." Kate said, sadly as he sat back down. "Yeah, I know." Humphrey said, sadly. "Maybe we'll bake another time." She said as she kissed him on to kiss once again and started walking away. Later that night, Humphrey was already in bed, reading a book. He sees Kate walking in the bedroom, she was already in her PJs as she climbed in bed and sat next to you. "I'm sorry that you have to wait for me again." She said. "It's okay." Humphrey said as they started laying down next to each other. "It's just crazy over there." Kate said. "Hey…tomorrow's our anniversary." Humphrey said. "Six years…wow." Kate said. "So here's the plan…I get home early, You get home early-" "I'll try to." Kate interrupted. "And then we celebrate, okay?" Humphrey said. "Okay, sounds great.." Kate said as Humphrey turns off the lights and Kate scoots closer to Humphrey. "But seriously, you promise?" Humphrey asked. "I promise, don't worry." Kate said as they started falling asleep. The next day, Humphrey and Kate got dressed and went to work as usual. At 7:30pm, Kate's phone alarm goes off, she turns it off as she grabs her bag and before she has a chance to leave her desk, a worker gives her a pile of work to do for her. Kate tries to explain to her that today's her and her husband's anniversary and that he's waiting for her back at home, but the worker begged as if there was no other choice. Kate sighed and said yes as the worker smiled and left her office. Kate signed as she started to think that she made the wrong choices as she continued working. Later that night, Kate finally comes home and enters the house. "I'm sorry I'm late, I'm home now." Kate yelled, hoping Humphrey was here. She went to the kitchen and saw the ingredients for cupcakes. Kate was curious what this was for. She then sees a small light shining behind her, she turns around and sees Humphrey in a black uniform, laying his head on the table with a light candle on the table, looking disappointed. She also saw that the figures that were broken, are now fixed. "Oh no, I'm so sorry! I had to finish this thing at work and it got dark and…you prepared all of this.." Kate said. Humphrey looks at her. "You…forgot" Humphrey assumed. "What, no I didn't, I was just so busy and I was the only one…" Kate was trying to finish her sentence but then Humphrey pulled out the cupcake bakery picture from the photo album and placed it on the table. "You know,...we can still quit." Humphrey said. "What, are you serious?" Kate asked, very worried. "I know we lost sight of it but we can still follow the plan. Together." Humphrey said. "But…we're good." Kate said. "I mean, we're finally stable. Why risk our jobs in the house and you know they need me at work and…it's just, building all of this…was so hard, I don't…I don't think I can do this…" She continued. Humphrey was now really disappointed, mostly disappointed at her, he couldn't believe that she would say these things after working this far to chase and now it all vanished. Humphrey looked down and got up and bumped the table and caused the figures to fall and break again. Humphrey and Kate looked down at the broken figures and then they looked at each other and Humphrey just walked away. Kate was just standing there, trying to process everything that happened. Few moments later, Humphrey was already in bed sleeping on his side of the bed, while Kate walks in and sits down on her side of the bed with the broken figures in her hands. She then places the broken figures in her drawer next to her bed and they go to sleep. For the last few days, they have not talked to each other anymore. Kate tried to get his attention, but it wasn't working. One day, Kate was typing on her computer in the kitchen, while Humphrey was sitting at the dining table, alone, reading a newspaper. Kate looked at Humphrey and was trying to think of another way to get his attention. As Humphrey keeps on reading and then drinks his coffee, he sees Kate bringing two cupcakes and that brings a smile to him. Kate sat down across from him and was trying to say how really sorry she was and that she wants to continue, but then something caught Humphrey's eyes and he was devastated. On the counter, there was a cupcake package from a different bakery with also the bag of the different bakery. She didn't make the cupcakes…She brought the cupcakes. Humphrey's smile disappeared and looked down at the cupcakes and then back at her and then signs. "You just don't get it." Humphrey said. "What?" Kate said, acting confused. "I…I can't do this anymore." Humphrey said as he leaves to the bedroom, while Kate watched him leave. Moments later, Kate went to the bedroom and sees Humphrey was putting his stuff in a suitcase…
