Chapter.4: - help out und Promises
A meeting was held at Kaiba Corb's immediately upon his return, but it did not go as well as he had expected. Immediately after Kaiba arrived at the villa, Isono had tied him up and, to his regret, he hadn't had the nerve for it and yet he didn't know he should miss the whole thing. The only thing he could do was calm down and put at least a few employees on his burdens. So he made a few calls in the meantime and had to face being others, doing, taking and against his will and he doesn't trust anyone, even now except for Yugi and Mokuba maybe Malik and Ryou but otherwise that's it.
His call wasn't the best, but he didn't care if the person didn't notice. Well, in the end he had someone to shit on anyway. His meeting was important, but in itself it was unnecessary as it was only about correspondence with other companies, like the one in which the girl and her two friends were, he had to do something urgently, otherwise the company would eventually be overshadowed , he must act! Then he was called not too quickly later from his work cell phone and had to apologize in front of everyone because when he saw the number he declared it to be extremely important. So he walked out of the conference room into the hallway and put his cell phone to his ear.
"What?"
"Hello Kaiba to you too!"
In the later compartment of the day they both found out from Kaiba, who sounded quite annoyed, that Taicho was on his way to them. Kaiba had also mentioned that it was probably better that they should all gather in one room and the l, best of all, as best as possible. He hadn't said why, why or more precisely, but he said that, according to his estimation, they had half an hour to do it and to their surprise it only took them a little further down. When the doorbell rang, however, the result wasn't quite what they had envisioned. Especially since the six didn't really participate. At least this time they sat in one room and not in separate rooms. Luckily, Mokuba had made White's decision and stayed more in the background at the Hikari's side as a spectator. While he had experience of their behavioral mannerisms, he would not dare to step between something that did not concern him. He knows only too well that with someone with a big ego and pride, nothing can change anything except someone close to you.
When Mokuba opened the door, since the others didn't really notice, he smiled at her and she at him before going in and looking around. She became immediately queasy when she felt the surroundings. It felt thicker than last time, but she ignored it as best she could. She even had to resist the urge to sniff it. As the two came closer it became even more dense and when they entered the room you immediately noticed a stubborn attitude hovering around the room. She wanted to ask about it, but first asked something else "What are you doing here?" something much more suited to her mood. Her voice wasn't raised but bored with a mixture of annoyed. Mark wasn't startled, unlike Julian, but still jumped up a bit without losing her nonchalance and staying cool in front of the others.
They turned in no time at all, noticing a presence behind them. They turned and greeted her. And then the questions started straight away. "First of all, what is this supposed to be?" she looked at her fellow human beings "And...why do those 6-" she pointed her finger at each of them "-look so distressed?" Her mood was limited, but she did her best to devote her attention to her colleagues, who hesitantly and somewhat awkwardly in their choice of words, handed over their status report on the situation. While the girl listened with only half interest to what Ma and Ju knew, the others just stayed silent, not knowing what to do in this disgusting situation other than just shut up.
The management report was monotonous and also very tiring to listen to, so she has to distract herself a bit. the good thing was that she is very multitasking and can scan the room while listening to the conversations if needed for later. when she realized something love her eyes are on the pile of men on the couch. She eyed them and she thought of something small. Why was the dwelling so messy and uncomfortable to be in! And why is everything so unusually quiet here? 'I do not like that!'
Attention slowly but surely landed back to their comrades-in-arms, causing the boys to stop talking. She asked in a monotonous voice, "What's going on here? And don't you dare deviate from the topic again! I can smell it if something's wrong! And if you start at the same time then I'll get the crises! So...?!" nervously, the boy Julian tapped his feet on the ground and tucked his hands behind his back, avoiding eye contact. His comrade-in-arms, on the other hand, just crossed his arms in front of his chest and stayed stoic as ever. "*sigh* The reason we're here is Kaiba!" "Oh man...then I don't want to hear what this request is!" she rolls her eyes "And now?" "Well we decided to stay and help after our Kaiba based visit ended to help you here!" said Ju. "And... help with what?!" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Well..." Julian didn't finish his speech and then pointed. "These six have a communication problem and probably split into two groups or something stupid...we don't know any more than that!" next to them, they didn't notice how Mokuba moved and stood next to the girl to pull the hem of her jacket. Mokuba was slightly nervous and looked down, embarrassed. "I know I'm not able to say this but...can you help?" "HU?" she was confused by the question. To help her, Mark just said "Taicho, look at her and then answer. Doesn't this scene remind you of something?"
She sighed softly to herself and frowned. She wasn't blind, she knew that at first, but the part of wanting to ignore it was stronger and more appropriate. She also knew what Mark wanted to allude to and that made her sigh even more. 'Fuck!' Dense the. "Okay..!" she whispered it so softly that even good hers wouldn't have understood. "Give me a minute...!" with that she walked abruptly to the door, dropped her bag on the floor, took out a pen and took a deep breath. 'Why am I doing this to myself!'
And with that she made it official for the two boys and announced that she would help with her mechanisms. She said that she was trying to settle everything with the others, since, from her point of view, they had already done a lot openly and badly than was necessary, she said openly. What the others regard as fact and therefore did not exactly find it new.
However, after the first impression she had, she wanted to clarify one thing: "You can be happy that I'm pretty good at psychology and all that nonsense."
"Hey, we know and we appreciate that about you," Julian said at the end before turning to the six.
"But let me say one thing: You have to jump over your shadow, only nobody could do it alone and nobody goes out here until then! You too! *sigh*...Well then, where does the shoe pinch?"

After she had sent Julian, Mark and Mokuba out the door so as not to be disturbed, she asked around in the group what the problem was exactly so that she knew more explicitly what it was about. However, everything was so tense that you couldn't do anything as long as the air was still thick. So she decided right at the beginning to reinforce both in groups that correspond to the sense of feeling. One would watch the couple while taicho talks to the other group, then when it's finished the group will be exchanged and when they're ready they'll come back together at the end to put everything together.

In the living room, the three of them sat next to each other on the long white couch and continued to ignore their surroundings. When they were asked questions, for example how they were doing, they remained mute but timidly mute. Of course she didn't rush in and wants to 'get to know' her for the first time and the rest would take care of itself if done right.
She closed her eyes and counted to three exhaled and walked into the kitchen, being back in five minutes with a service in hand. She put the service on the table in front of Yami, Bakura and Marik and offered something to everyone. "Like anyone?" she wore a nondescript face at the polite gesture, and that was exactly what the three of them had been taking in for the first time in a few hours. This composition did not match her gesture and facial expressions. Yami looked at her funny "What? Do I have something on my face or something?" she cocked her head and placed index fingers on the lower part of her cheek. "Come on! Try it, it calms the nerves..." and placed a cup in front of each of them. Surprisingly, the first to try was Marik, who almost choked down after a punch. Then the other two took a try and were just as surprised. But nobody said anything, it was quiet until...
"Awww that felt good! So back to business..." she groaned out the refreshment ready for more. And now that she felt warm inside, she was more relaxed. "So why am I here for you guys! And even if it's a silly argument, say it and I'll take care of it, I just want to go back. So whatever went on here, just apologize even if you don't mean it!"
Bakura went up after that statement. Nobody tells him what to do. "Who are you to tell us what to do you...!" before it exploded, however, the girl interjected to speak against it. "I stand by my word I speak and if someone is against me then they will lose. After all I said no one is going to leave here until nothing is settled and I mean it so shut up you bunny!" more monotonous than before.
"Wow maybe someone showed it to Fluffy!" giggled Marik. "That also applies to you sandhead!" now Yami had to suppress a grin too. "Just do it and the sooner I can get away from here! I'll keep it short and you don't have to cooperate, but I would like to know what your relation is to Yugi, Ryou and Malik?!"
All of them would be silent from this question because they didn't know how to answer and or how to react to it.
"My second question and probably my last question will be: What do you not understand what it means to be a Yami?" This caused even the Yamis to prick up their ears. "Hääääää?"

After swapping groups, the three smaller versions sat on the long white couch and chatted happily. The atmosphere also felt much more comfortable and warmer.
When she came in here, too, she closed her eyes and counted to three, breathed out and went into the kitchen, where she was back here after five minutes and also carried a service in her hand. Except that this service is more harmless than the other. She put the service on the table in front of the three and offered something each to Yugi, Ryou and Malik. "Would you like a cup too?" she wore a faint and barely noticeable smile at the polite gesture and that was something the three of them really appreciated. Yugi looked at her happily "What? Do I have something on my face or something?" she cocked her head and placed index fingers on the lower part of her cheek. "Come on! Try it, it calms your nerves..." The first to take a cup was Yugi, who after a sip made his face open even more. "Mmmmm that's good!" Then Ryou, who loves tea more than anything, also took a kost of the same kind. Ryou was amazed at the taste and savored it to keep it alive longer. Malik, however, didn't want tea because he's not the type for this drink, he's more of a coffee lover himself. However, in order not to be rude, he at least tried something from Yugi's. "Awww this is delicious thanks for that..." Ryou expressed his thanks with a refreshing sigh, ready for more. And since it's natural for tea to feel warm inside, he was more relaxed on his own as well. "You know...you're more supportive than the few days you hung out with us! And I like that side of you, but what's the reason for it? From what Mokuba had told me, you're not very outgoing .." Yugi said with a friendly smile.
"So you want to know why I'm here? Because of you guys! I... promised I'd do my best and I won't break promises! And even if it's a silly argument involved, say it and I'll take care of it, I just want to go back. So whatever happened here, we'll find a solution!" said the girl not looking up at their field of view.
"So now the question... how was the day for you? And what happened that got you into this uncomfortable mood?" She spoke softly and directly to them, unlike the other three, where she had acted and spoken more coldly and listlessly. "Because as I imagine it, with all the information you gave me, I guess it's complete? Or?!"
On the other side of the door, the entourage is worried. They were already listening at the door to see if they heard anything that would give them information to calm their nerves.
Julian sighed in embarrassment at his action. He heard nothing, nor any sign that everything is going well and what kind of reaction it tends to have.
He did that with both couples.
Julian stepped back as he slowly heard footsteps on the other side.
The door opened and the girl waved them in and made way for them to enter.
The six in the room sat on the couch this time closer than before and this time with a looser air around them. Ju asked perplexed while watching, but only received a snort from her "It wasn't a big deal! Just watch the thing!" Then she took a step forward and did the last part "Okay so now for the last part of the whole thing...Yami do you have something to say to Yugi...!? And you, Bakura, don't you owe Ryou another word?! And Marik, you owe Malik an apology too!? Make it as you deal!" The next step should be as discussed: a Yami promise to his Hikari!
Yami took the first step towards Yugi "Hikari I..."
Everyone was supposed to say something, but nobody could start and even the pharaoh had problems getting over his pride. But of all three, Yami had less pressure to be afraid of how his light would react. He would have started too if his instincts hadn't picked up the roar.
Looking to the side, at this point he saw the two boys yelling at each other with the girl in between trying to break them up. Everyone who was watching except him, which was the rest of the time, saw them screaming and arguing with everyone getting a bead of anime sweat just listening to what the topic was. Because it was a moronic topic and on top of that they hardly understood a connection which made it difficult to intervene. It even sounded like another language that is not used in the Asian part. But if you looked closely, you could also notice something on the outside... Something that was very well known...
And so Marik asked the question.. "Your 3 are so different but you get along well, how do you do that?"
It got quiet and Marik got all their attention. But on the other hand, a plan was already raging to get out of the situation... "Okay, I guess that's enough! I don't think that's going to happen with you anymore anyway! But... before I leave the field, I have one more thing to say...! We didn't answer your question Marik, I hope a rough answer is enough ?!"
"And which would be?"
Info: Sorry that it's a bit difficult to understand, but this should only serve as a transition capital so that it makes more sense later!
