It was a peaceful quiet night in Prideland City as everyone was sound asleep in their homes including the house of the royal family well almost everyone however there was one person that was unable to sleep and that person was Beshte.

Beshte was laying on the floor by the foot of the bed which Kion slept while Bunga layed in one side of the bed and Ono laid on the other side, Kion was having a sleepover with the male members of the Lion Guard. The reason Beshte was having trouble sleeping is because of the hot and muggy weather it was making him uncomfortable plus it was making him extremely thirsty and so he realized that he had to find a way to quench his thirst and cool himself or he'll fry in his sleep.

Beshte then sat up as he remembered that there were cold bottles of water that were in the refrigerator Simba told him and the others that they were free to help themselves to it at any point in the night so Beshte decided to do just that. Beshte slowly got up and tip toed out of the room careful not to awaken everyone then he walked out to the hallway and began walking down the hall towards the stairs passing Kiara's and Simba and Nala's rooms.

When Beshte got to the stairs and walked down it he turned the corner and began to walk towards the kitchen which had a light on but Beshte's mind didn't care about that for the moment, still half asleep Beshte rubbed his eyes a little bit while he continued on. However he didn't watch where he was going and he felt himself walk into something soft and when he looked to see what he walked into he saw with complete horror it wasn't something but rather someone.

Standing in front of him with her back turned to him was Nala however there was something even more wrong with the picture: Nala didn't have any clothes on she was completely naked and in front of one of Kion's friends. Nala slowly turned her head around to look at Beshte who stood there completely stunned that he was standing in the presence of his queen in her birthday suit, Nala and Beshte stared at each other awkwardly silently for one minute until Beshte spoke while looking away from Nala's nude form.

"Uh...hello.. your magesty."he said stamering over his words "hi.. Beshte...the heat bothering you too?"Nala asked as she smiled awkwardly "Yeah i...came down for some..water but i wasn't prepared to see my queen..like this."Beshte explained continuing to look away from her.

"Yeah sorry simba convinced me to sleep naked to help with the heat, i lot of good it's doing I'm still sweating like crazy."Nala said with an annoyed tone.

Then there was another awakward silence between them as Nala's eyes darted left and right while Beshte's eyes stayed in one spot staring at the kitchen cabinets and wall next to him, Beshte closed his eyes and shook his head.

"You okay?"Nala asked although it was pretty much crystal clear he was not, physically he was but mentally was another issue "Sorry your highness, for a moment i..saw your..uh...rear end...and it's stuck in my brain."Beshte said uncomfortable he was trying not to say the word ass in front of Nala even though he's 17 and has cussed a couple of times but this was in front of his friends and not in front of his queen.

"Don't worry I'm sure that'll fade...eventually...you uh want to get the water now?"Nala said stepping aside removing her body from Beshte's line of sight and Beshte quickly went to the refrigerator and grabbed him a bottle of water then he turned away from Nala and proceeded to meekly head back up the stairs with Nala turning off the light and following him.

As they reached the floor where the rooms were Nala stayed behind Beshte "goodnight Beshte."Nala said kindly "goodnight Queen Nala."Beshte said shyly as he couldn't believe what happened

"Oh and Beshte..?"Nala said "Yes?"Beshte said not turning around to look at her "This never happened."Nala stated referring to the awkward moment they had in the kitchen Beshte nodded in agreement and they both went back to their respective rooms awkwardly.
