Laura had her bulletin board out and was already sticking notecards up on it with ways on how to get rid of the Dean without killing her. There weren't that many choices and they were very limited.
Tori was relaxing on Betty's bed while Carmilla was on Laura's bed.
"So where do we go from here, Buttercup?"
"I think we can use Tori's shapeshifting abilities to lure the Dean out."
"Woah there, why am I going to be used as bait? It should be Carmilla."
"She'll expect me, that's why I can't go."
"Use your girlfriend as bait?"
"No."
Tori laughed, "I'm just kidding. Maybe we can use Betty?"
Laura shook her head, "We're not using my roommate as bait! Carmilla almost sacrificed Betty for me. We can't let that happen again."
"Fine, I'll be bait, but you owe me, vampire."
Tori got up off the bed and left the room.
"Let's follow her to be safe. She might need back up."
"You mean that I should follow her."
"I can protect myself."
"You'll be a liability, Laura, and I can't do anything if you're at risk."
"Okay, but promise to come back safely."
"I will."
Tori was walking towards the Dean's house when the Dean came out of the building. She had her hair pulled in a bun and was locking the front door.
"So what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you out here instead of the office?"
"I think it's time for your games to be over."
"What games?"
"I know about the missing students."
"What do you plan to do? Call the board on me?"
"No, I plan to kill you."
"And you think that's so simple? Carmilla couldn't even come and do this dirty deed herself."
Carmilla had followed Tori and was hiding behind a building near her house. She saw the Dean and Tori talking.
It had easily escalated when Tori was thrown into the building across from the Dean's house. She quickly recovered and the Dean pulled out a blade that Carmilla recognized. It was the one her mother used when draining her victims of blood.
Carmilla wanted to intervene and help Tori, so she did.
She came out of hiding and ran next to Tori, who was ready to claw out the Dean's eyes after transforming her hands into large claws.
The Dean was swinging the blade in a threatening way.
"Once I gut your friend here, Carmilla, I promise that you'll be next."
Tori ran at the Dean with her claws and she put up a good fight for a while until the Dean took out a second blade and stabbed it directly in the shapeshifter's chest. It happened so quickly that Carmilla couldn't stop her mother.
Carmilla used this opportunity to grab the other blade from the Dean while she enjoyed looking at a dead shapeshifter. Carmilla put the blade up to her throat.
"You've tormented me and everyone else long enough."
She cut into the Dean's throat without any hesitation and blood started pouring out. The Dean tried to stop the bleeding, but failed. She collapsed onto the ground near Tori's body.
To make sure that she couldn't come back, Carmilla decapitated her and burned the body with Tori's lighter.
She realized she was covered in blood when Laura found her.
"Is Tori…"
"Yeah, I couldn't stop her, but I did end it, Laura."
Laura looked from Carmilla to the blade in her hand.
"It's over."
Carmilla watched as the human took the blade from her hand and put it on the ground.
"Thank you for saving my life."
"Anything for you. Laura."
The board had easily taken over Silas University and the campus was finally safe from the Dean. Carmilla was finally able to leave the campus with Laura, who finally graduated with her degree.
"Jeez Creampuff, it took you long enough to graduate."
"You're one to speak, Carmilla! How many degrees do you have now?"
"Not as many as you think."
"I got dibs on twenty."
"Be realistic, I have three degrees."
"Only three? Yeah right."
Laura kissed Carmilla's cheek and held her hand, "Let's enjoy the rest of our lives together."
Carmilla smiled and kissed Laura.
