"So you mean to tell me that I was thrown 500 years into the future, and that my family is all but extinct because the Old Satan faction assassinated my parents?" Shirou spoke in a monotone voice.
"Well I wouldn't say it in that crude way but, essentially, yes that is exactly what happened. We never found your body and you were missing for so long everyone just assumed you were dead." Serafall answered softly.
Shirou stayed silent for a moment, taking in the information that he was given. It turns out that flash was some kind of temporal anomaly sending him 500 years into the future, where Serafall Sitri became Serafall Leviathan after the Anti-Satan faction won the civil war. His family is wiped out with him being the last survivor, with his family's land and weapons confiscated by the Old Satan faction leaving him with nothing to his name aside from the clothes on his back.
He was honestly not expecting anything like what happened, sure he had been a pseudo time traveler in his past but never to the future, and especially only to find out that his family died all that time ago while he gets to live on. He knows that they would want him to move on, but he doesn't think he can, not until the ones that took his family from him were dead.
"So, what happens now?" Shirou asked with a sigh.
"Well for starters we will have to bring you before the remaining families of the 72 Pillars to get you reinstated as a member of the 72, but that can wait until tomorrow. You are probably exhausted from all that running and fighting earlier." Serafall answered.
She was right in her statement, Shirou was starting to feel exhaustion, but it wasn't physical as his mutated clan trait took care of that, it was the mental exhaustion of the reveals laid out to him.
"Yeah, I feel drained. Would you mind if I stayed here until I get on my feet?" Shirou asked, suddenly very anxious.
Serafall brightened up immediately and answered, "Of course Shi-tan! I would love to have you here and I'm sure that mother and father would love to have you here as well!"
Shirou smiled at the person who he considered a big sister and got up from where he was seated with her. Serafall led him to her parents who were shocked to see that Shirou was alive, they offered him a place to stay after they heard his story and he accepted. They had one of the maids show him where he was staying with Serafall coming along to wish him goodnight.
Age: 15
After Shirou had gotten to sleep that night, he was taken before the remaining 72 Pillar heads and reinstated as a clan head. There was only one problem with what happened during that meeting though, and that is the fact that the Phenex family forced a marriage contract onto him with their youngest daughter Ravel.
Now, that wouldn't be all that bad if it wasn't obvious they only wanted him for his clan traits. There was also the fact that the one time he ever met Ravel she was a snooty brat who got everything she asked for, so Shirou has no hard feelings about desiring the end of his marriage agreement. The first thing he did after getting back from the meeting was asking about evil pieces so he could build his peerage.
While he kept his pieces for the next five years he thought about who to reincarnate into his peerage while also dragging his family name back from the brink. Shirou started to craft weapons and armor after he got settled into the time period and made enough from commissions that he could buy an estate or a plot of land. The boy opted to buy land in the human world instead, finding himself enjoying the world above more than his current surroundings.
Shirou also met with Sona and her friend Rias a day after he settled into her home. They were a little surprised with his appearance but accepted him nonetheless. Sona also reminded Shirou of a long lost friend in Rin, with her serious demeanor but also how cute she acts when flustered. Rias also reminded him of Illya with her love of Japanese culture and anime while also being straightforward but also manipulative in some aspects.
When the three of them decided to take schooling options in the human world they all agreed on a small town in Japan known as Kuoh. Shirou also took this moment to purchase land in the city and have an estate built, choosing to model it after the Emiya estate he so dearly loved. He also added an outdoor forge to his estate so he had an area to complete any commissions he would get. He also surrounded his estate with privacy and sound dampening bounded fields for ease of mind.
'Man, I can't believe that I'm about to try this.' Shirou thought with a chuckle.
In one of the western style bedrooms he has in his home there was a summoning circle with the one catalyst that he could reliably Trace to summon who he wants. Inside the center of the circle was Carnwennan, the dagger belonging to King Arthur, or as Shirou knew them, Artoria Pendragon, King of Knights.
"Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill. Let each be turned over five times, simply breaking asunder the fulfilled time.
Let silver and steel be the essence. Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation. Let my great master Schweinorg be the ancestor. Raise a wall, against the wind that shall fall. Close the four cardinal gates. Come out from the crown. Rotate the three-branched road reaching the Kingdom."
The summoning circle began to glow blue with his demonic energy, the air stilling as the words left his mouth.
"I shall declare here. Your body shall serve under me. My fate shall be with your sword. Submit to the beckoning of Shirou Emiya. If you will submit to this will and this reason… then answer!
The circle began to get brighter and the air startled to swirl around the room.
"An oath shall be sworn here! I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven. I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell! From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power, come forth from the ring of restraint, Protector of the Balance!"
With the aria finished, the circle flashed brighter than ever and let out a blast of air, causing him to close his eyes. After the light and air died down, Shirou slowly opened his eyes to see who was summoned.
"In response to your summons I have arrived." A female voice spoke, Shirou tearing up at the sound.
"I ask of you, are you my master?" Artoria Pendragon, Saber, asked as she stood in front of Shirou.
"Artoria…" Shirou whispered.
Wearing her blue battle dress with silver armor over the top, her golden hair and green eyes peered at Shirou before her eyes widened. She took a step forward slowly and reached a hand out to him carefully, almost as if he was going to disappear if she wasn't careful.
"Shirou…?" She whispered in askance.
Shirou nodded tearfully, letting out a joyful bark of laughter as he pulled the girl into a hug so tight it would have hurt any regular human. Artoria also wrapped her arms around him immediately, smiling and letting some tears fall down her cheeks.
"What… what happened to you? You look much younger and your mana feels different." She asked as she pulled back and held his shoulders.
"I was reincarnated after I died defending Chaldea from an attack after humanity was restored. In this world all of mythology exists at once, so there are devils, angels, fallen angels, gods, yokai and all that. The reason why my mana feels different is because I was born a devil 500 years ago and was the target of an assassination plot on my family. I was thrown into some kind of temporal anomaly. My family was considered extinct until just five years ago, and I've been working to bring them back from the brink. There is also another problem in that devil fertility rates are extremely low so we have to resort to reincarnating other races to increase our population through the use of something called evil pieces." Shirou answered and gave a brief history lesson.
Arotria took all of the information in and after a moment she spoke up, "May I ask Shirou, why is it that you have summoned me? I can tell that there is no Holy Grail to sustain me so it can't be because of that. Is it because you wish to reincarnate me as one of these devils?"
"I summoned you Artoria because I missed you. I wasn't even sure the ritual would work but it does, and I would ask if you are open to being reincarnated and staying by my side." Shirou answered softly.
"I am your sword Shirou, any decision you make I will always be by your side. I would be honored for you to have me as a member of your peerage." Artorira said with a beautiful smile.
"Alright, but just know that there are some downsides to being a devil such as a weakness to the holy element, sensitivity to light, and enhanced desires of the… carnal variety." Shirou said with a blush at the end.
"I can deal with it Shirou, I trust you." Artoria said with a tone that conveyed how devoted she was to Shirou.
The boy smiled at her before taking a small step back and pulling out a chess piece, the queen to be precise. His evil pieces were blue like his fire with a steel gray inlay. He raised it towards her chest and watched as it sank beneath her skin.
"There, you're now my queen and should be a devil by the next morning." Shirou said with a smile.
Artoria gives another beautiful smile as she feels her body become more corporeal, or at least, less Servant-like and closer to what it felt like before she became a Heroic Spirit. Shirou however let out a tired yawn, feeling the day's exhaustion catch up to him.
"Oh that's right, forgot to mention but devils heal through skin to skin contact and when a new devil is reincarnated the King has to sleep beside their new Servant so their evil piece doesnt fuck up their insides or something." Shirou explained tiredly.
Artoria blushed lightly at the implication but nodded resolutely. "Of course Shirou, I trust you."
Shirou led her to where he sleeps, happy that she trusts him as much as he does her. Inside his room was still rather spartan, but instead of having a futon on the floor like he normally would, he instead had a bed large enough to fit five people in his room, with sheets of steel gray and black. The two quickly stripped naked while blushing brightly before climbing into bed and wrapping their arms around one another.
"I'm glad to have you back Artoria, goodnight." Shirou whispered.
"Glad to be back Shirou." Artoria responded to her master, closing her eyes and snuggling closer with a smile.
The two fell asleep a short time later. Artoria's Queen piece alters her body into that of a reincarnated devil while she sleeps in the arms of her sheath.

Age: 18
Shirou managed to get into Kuoh Academy with his friends Rias and Sona who are now in their third year. He also got to meet Akeno Himejima, Rias' Queen, and Tsubaki Shinra, Sona's Queen, with the four of them meeting Artoria Pendragon in turn who went by Artoria Drachengarde to everyone aside from Shirou as the name Pendragon would bring too many questions, ones he didn't feel like answering.
While Sona uses the Student Council room for her peerage and Rias uses the Occult Research Club for hers, Shirou created the Kyudo (Archery) club for his peerage to use. And while it is open to the public, there isn't anyone outside of his peerage that has taken a permanent interest in his club. His peerage has also grown to include Atalanta who remembers him and also attend Kuoh alongside Shirou and Artoria, she can also hide her features with a little applications of magic.
Another addition to his peerage is Jack the Ripper. The little girl also remembered him from their various adventures in Chaldea and happily jumped at the chance to stay with her 'mommy' as she referred to Shirou. Thankfully for the Malthus heir, she only called him that in the safety of their estate where only his other servants lived and already knew about her quirks. Also despite her looks, she is actually 18 like Shirou and the rest, so she was in her third year with the rest of them, though she was placed into his class so he could keep an eye on her.
His role in Kuoh also amounted to being an enforcer, making sure that any incidents of Supernatural causes were dealt with and suppressed before the public finds out. One thing he did when he arrived in town was to set up a bounded field that would warn him of any Supernatural creatures entering city limits, and thanks to it being based around a different world's magic, it made it that much harder for the enemy to figure out a way to spoof it.
"Slowly Jack, take a deep breath and empty your thoughts." Shirou instructed the white haired legal loli.
Right now, despite not really needing to actually go through with club activities Shirou actually found that he enjoyed teaching, and so would spend at least one hour after each day teaching Artoria and Jack how to use a bow. With Artoria picking up Japanese archery quite quickly and Jack struggling a little.
She listened to her master and took a deep breath through the nose, holding her bow with an arrow drawn.
"Now… exhale as you release." Shirou spoke softly.
The girl listened and the arrow flew downrange. Unlike every other time she tried her hand at archery, this arrow actually landed within the second ring of the target. Jack started to jump up and down cheering, "Did you see that mommy! I'm getting better!"
Shirou chuckled warmly before patting her head and saying, "Remember Jack, aim small miss small."
Jack nodded her head happily and went back to practicing. Shirou looked over to his side to see that Atalanta had already run out of arrows and was waiting for Jack and Artoria to finish firing so she could go recollect them. He walked over and sat down next to her.
"How is school Atalanta?" Shirou asked the girl.
She looked over to him and with a warm smile she spoke, "It's certainly different from what I'm used to. School work is slowly starting to pile up but I'm getting the hang of it. If you're talking about being a devil then it feels a little odd to truly be alive again, but it gets easier after each day and the contracts I am assigned are relatively easy to complete."
Shirou smiled at her answer, "Good, I know it was a little sudden to go from saving the human race to what we're doing now but thank you for being so understanding. How are you finding the sword I forged you by the way?"
That's right, Shirou forged a sword that Atalanta can use if she ever needs to engage in close quarters combat. It is a Xiphos sword with various enchantments on it, ranging from increased sharpness to a lightning manipulation enchantment on it.
"Oh I love it! Thank you for making it Shirou, it's beautiful." Atalanta answered with a smile as she thought of her sword.
Shirou smiled at her answer, taking pride that his work was of high enough quality for an ex-Heroic Spirit. When he first felt pride, he was honestly confused, as he had never had any pride in anything he did in life, just like Kiritsugu, he was a prideless magus, but that changed when he was reborn as a devil and found that the seven deadly sins affect every devil to a certain extent, with pride being Shirou's sin.
"I'm glad, I've also been working or trying to make that composite armor that EMIYA had, to try and make ourselves some proper armor." Shirou said, thinking of his latest project.
"Yes that would be a good idea, since we are no longer Servants in the traditional sense we will need some form of protection instead of relying on our parameters to protect us." Atalanta nodded along.
'I just need to figure out the perfect balance of the materials used in its construction. I know I'm close, but so far all I have is either too weak but flexible or too tough and really stiff… just a little more I think.' Shirou thought to himself.
"I'll leave you to it, just be careful of Jack and her accuracy." Shirou laughed lightly and got up.
"Sure thing Shirou." Atalanta laughed too before going to collect her arrows.
The teen sighed lightly and looked around, finding Artoria packing her things away. He walked over to her and began speaking.
"How's school work going for you, your majesty?" He asked in a sarcastic manner.
"It is going alright. It is certainly easier than what I had to deal with in my time as king, and Shirou you know that I am no longer a king, so please stop referring to me as one." Artoria spoke calmly then all but begged Shirou at the end of her sentence.
"Good, I'm glad that you have adjusted better than our first year here. I think by the time that Jack finishes up it will be time for us to go home." Shirou said with a smile.
"Of course Shirou, will you need help in reigning Jack in while you cook?" Artoria asked, drooling at the thought of his cooking.
"Are you sure that I don't need to get Atalanta to watch you while I make the food?" Shirou teased.
Artoria's response was to look away and pout. Not that she would admit to pouting as she still had an image to keep as the ex-King of Knights. Shirou just smiled at Artoria, remembering the times when she said that she was a king before a woman, and then comparing her to the girl she is now. Over the years she had grown up physically without the presence of Avalon halting her aging, and as such she looks closer to her Lancer counterpart from the Camelot Singularity.
Shirou then took note that Jack had finished firing all her arrows and decided to call it a day for them. He called them all over to him after everything was packed away and teleported them all home, thankful that his overspecialisation for swords doesn't interfere with his teleportation spell. Once they were at the Emiya estate they all went off and did their own things.
Atalanta went to go read some books, Jack decided to be a cheeky little brat and sneak around trying to scare everyone or just sat around watching Shirou, while Artoria went to get the utensils ready for dinner so Shirou could just get straight into it. Shirou meanwhile went into his workshop and moved over to a table that held fabrics on top.
'Let's see here… if I try and transmute these two materials together I get something close to what EMIYA had, but I feel something is off.' Shirou thought as he looked at his work, not paying any mind to Jack who decided to watch him.
"Hey mommy, what happens if you add this?" Jack asked out of the blue, holding up another fabric that Shirou had already used.
"I already used that Jack, all it does is make the material too thick and stiff to manipulate." Shirou answered, looking at the fabric she held.
"But mommy, what if you add this to what you already have?" She retorted with a tilted head.
"Jack that-" Shirou went to speak but stopped himself.
'That… might actually work, I've only been trying two materials at a time.'
"Pass it here please Jack." Shirou asked with a stretched hand.
Jack placed the material in his hand and watched as Shirou brought it to the failed product, before watching as it melted into the product itself. Shirou then held it and started to tug on it and bend it, finding it suitable for the moment he walked over to a mannequin he had for armor stress testing.
Once the fabric was placed over it, Shirou projected a C rank nameless Noble Phantasm and slash at the fabric. It held up under the stress of being cut, so then Shirou went onto stabbing the piece. It also held up but started to deteriorate after five stabs in the same general area.
'Okay good, I haven't come across anything in the world that is C rank or better just yet so this should do.' Shirou was satisfied.
He then turned to Jack and said, "You are a genius Jack!" He then picked her up and started spinning around in circles.
Jack was laughing happily that her 'mommy' was happy with her. She wrapped her arms around him too so she wouldn't be flung away. Once he put her down he moved over to his desk and started to write down what the fabric consisted of so he can order more of the components later to make his peerage their armor.
"Let's go Jack, I'll get dinner started now." Shirou said as he opened the door to the workshop.
"Yay!" She shouted as she ran for the house.
Shirou just chuckled and followed after her. Once he was inside he cleaned himself up and got started on dinner, making at least five servings for his queen's appetite. He shook his head at the thought of her ravenous gluttony when it came to his food. As he finished making the food he came out of the kitchen and placed the food onto the table before kneeling and eating with everyone.
As they were eating everyone was having pleasant conversations before Shirou brought up a question to Atalanta.
"How is that information gathering going Atalanta?"
The girl in question took a moment to swallow her food before answering, "The Fallen haven't done much outside of what I believe to be reconnaissance. From what I can tell, they have been keeping an eye on Issei Hyoudo and have made contact with him this morning. One of the Fallen, a girl using the alias of Yuuma Amano made contact and asked him out on a date for sunday. I should also mention that I saw Gremory's servant, Toujou, watching the exchange."
Shirou nodded and thought about the information, 'If they've made contact with him then it's because of his Sacred Gear. Rias watching him may be her waiting to make him her servant if he dies on his date.'
"When his date rolls around I want you and Jack to keep an eye on him. I'll go with Artoria and deal with the Fallen hiding in the church before she returns." Shirou ordered his peerage, getting nods of acceptance in return.
With everything said and done, Shirou took all of their dishes and washed them up before going to bathe before bed. As he stepped into the large bathing area he took note of the girls naked bathing too, though this scene has happened so often that he has become particularly desensitized to female nudity. They all quickly bathed before changing into nightwear and climbing into the same bed, something that Artoria requested of the girls after noting that Shirou had trouble sleeping without another body next to him.
The girls were all accepting of the request as they all held some sort of interest in him and climbed into bed with him. The same happened this night too, with all of them surrounding Shirou and falling asleep shortly after they all got comfortable.
