Regulus
Regulus looked at the calendar. It was the day before all hallows eve 1981, it was also the day before he was finally set to marry James Potter. To Regulus brewing this pregnancy test potion was a little too premature, this was something he'd hoped would come after the wedding. Though all the same here he was brewing yet another pregnancy test potion behind James Potter's back. The first one he'd brewed was in his fifth year in school, in moaning myrtle's bathroom with Pandora, Barty, Evan and Dorcas all huddled around,
"So a contraceptive charm is too hard for the great James Potter," Dorcas had scoffed. Regulus rolled his eyes charmed,
"I'm sure he can perform one we just never talked about, it always just happened," Regulus muttered, "We'd been doing it since November and I never needed a pregnancy test potion until now, I assumed he was doing his business outside of my vagina," He protested. Barty laughed,
"And by doing it you mean having a secret, not so secret loving relationship that we all knew about no matter how much you denied it!"
"Well I knew he told me and Lily, only of course because James had asked him to to Hogshead back in September because no one fucking goes there and Sirius had got it in his head that it was Lily that James was going on a date with. So Regulus heard us talk about how she was going to make sure everyone knew James was full of shit when Reggie here asked Lily to cover for him. So she did when he explained why he didn't want people to know she got it so she covered for them," Dorcas said all at once. Pandora smiled,
"Lily is such an angel," she sang, "Of course I knew too, Reg never told me but come on Reg we weren't thick," Pandora gave him a half smile as she spoke. Then Evan piped up,
"Yeah I mean when people started talking about how James was hardly ever with his friends anyone and everytime he was out of the common room Lily was still there. Then the rumours came about how he'd been seeing someone behind her back, Reg had started ditching us more often so you know it wasn't advanced ancient runes to figure out James and Reg were together,"
"Yeah for us anyway" Barty added. Regulus was growing impatient,
"Thank you all for the recap, now I think this potion is ready," Regulus got up and wobbled to the bathroom stall and closed the door. Outside was silence he took a deep breath ' James don't leave, don't leave don't leave' his thoughts screamed as he urinated into the potion. The instructions on the potions were simple. pass urine into it and if nothing happens then the user is not pregnant, if it bubbles up blue the user is having a baby boy if it bubbles up pink the user is having a baby girl. His legs were like led as he came out of the stall 'James please whatever the result is stay, stay, stay,' he had said over and over in his mind. James of course had no idea he was even brewing that day.
When Regulus exited the stall all his friends eyes were on the potion
"It's a boy!" Evan cried out and all Regulus' friends ran to pull him into some weird group hug that made him (so out of character when it comes to hugs) happy. The potion was knocked to the floor and they all held each other not knowing what was going to happen next 'James stay please, stay, stay, stay,' his mind replayed.
Here he was again but alone this time about to take a second potion, trying not to think of what became of his first pregnancy. This time there was no doubt in his mind whatever the result James would stay. He plopped the potion on the sink after he did what was required and watched as soft pink bubbles rose up the potion and his heart.
"Here we are again," he said softly, tapping the wall knowing James was somewhere on the otherside of it. He and James were staying in separate rooms, the night before their big day, Regulus couldn't quite believe he was here. He remembered spending his sixth year hiding his dark mark from James until he couldn't anymore, that is when it all fell apart for a while.
"You've shattered my soul Reg," he had said to him, "You're better than this you're better than the family you came from, you and Sirius both, why can't you just leave like him eh? Your my world Reg, your the reason my hearts beating, sometimes I think the stars only come out at night to shine for you,"
"What about now then?" He asked while James was gaping at his arm,
"It might just be eternal darkness for fucks sake," He had tuned away as he spoke. Regulus knew it was over but he also at the time thought it always had to end. 'I thought I'd be married off to some woman forced to take the potion that gave me a working penis, and I'd have to put the next black heir in some girl. That's not what happened on my seventeenth birthday. I was finally allowed to rub in the potion on my skin that took away my breasts and instead gave me perfectly flat pecs with two scars underneath them.' he said inwardly, Whoever invented the potion never did work out how to get the scars away. Regulus didn't care though his breasts were gone and he was fucking ecstatic. Then madam Pomfrey asked if he wanted the one that would give him a penis. Regulus looked at her,
"If I don't take that one do you have to tell my parents?"
"No you are seventeen now we don't have to inform them," she said softly. So it was left at that he liked being fucked by James, he liked sex the way it was and James made sure that Regulus was aware that no matter what was between his legs he was a man. He supported him through everything Regulus decided to carry on taking the testosterone potions and he was finally free of breasts and that was good enough for him.
Regulus never did stop thinking about James; not a single hour went by without James Potter crossing his mind. James was his reason for being, ultimately James is the reason he went into that cave in 79 when Kreacher told him what Voldemort used him for what he had placed in the cave. He went to Sirius the night before he set off into the cave,
"I'm done with Voldemort, I'm done with trying to be the perfect son, I'm done with it all and I know how to bring him down," he said softly, Sirius just stared at his younger brother.
"I want to believe you Reg, James' wasn't the only heart you broke when you took that mark on your arm," he croaked,
"I was stupid, I was scared, I'm still scared, I just want to fix it fix it with him too if i can but I'm here fixing it with you first, I love you Sirius," he said for what felt like the first time since he was ten. Sirius' eyes met his green-grey ones,
"You know about him and Lily don't you?" He asked in a small voice,
"Yeah they are married, I seen the wedding photo's in the prophet," he sighed, He had watched James' life in pictures like he used to watch him sleep. He felt deep inside James could be forgetting him just like he felt James' hot breath on his back while James spooned him.
"Yeah Reg its beyond that, they are having a…," he didn't need to finish the sentence Regulus got the message. He felt a dagger move through his heart.
"I'm not going to come between them, I'm not going to wreck it, I just need to be on ok terms with him again, but I can't think of that right now, I need you to know I'm sorry, I was a stupid scared kid, I still am but Sirius, if I don't do this Voldemort is never going to go away there is no way to end this cause Voldemort will alway's be." Sirius looked confused as Reg spoke there was no way around it. Regulus knew he was going to have to tell his brother the whole story. So he did he explained about the horcrux,
"Right so it's in this cave and Kreacher is going to take you to it?" Sirius said reaching for a half empty bottle of firewhiskey and taking a very big gulp. Regulus nodded, "Well like hell your going alone, Remus and I will join you, we'll go first thing tomorrow," he passed the bottle to his baby brother who took a gulp. Then he shook his head,
"I got to go alone, I have got to make up for it all," he told him.
"Reg this isn't some poem your reading this is real shit and your not going alone into that cave," He clapped his hands on his shoulders,
"No Sirius-"
"Listen I won't lose you again, You are mine, you always have been even when I'd fucking lost you to them pricks, I won't lose you again though, were going together I got you brother, I always have and I always fucking will, I'm going to write to James to let him know and then your going to up stairs with me and tell Remus what you told me," He demanded.
It turned out to be a very good thing that Remus and his big brother went with him to the cave because as it turned out you can't apparate out, so even when Sirius saved him from the depths of water where an inferi had dragged him right down. They had to get back across on the boat while fighting off hundreds of inferi Kreacher the only one who apperated away safely. Regulus couldn't have done it alone, he couldn't do life alone anymore and he couldn't wait to see his brother's face tomorrow as he married his best friend because Sirius had finally accepted it and he wanted them both to be happy.
James:
James couldn't believe today was finally the day. After all the years and all the wasted time between him and Regulus that was lost after they parted ways because of Voldemort. James had ached for Regulus since and now finally after Reg came back to Sirius.. To James they were finally getting what they always wanted. James looked at himself dressed in a white suit and smiled, he had always known in his heart it would end up like this, even when it felt all hope was lost James always had a feeling deep down that Regulus and him would get their life together like they always wanted too. I know it did take Sirius a while to come round to the idea of them being together, but in the end he just wanted his best friend and brother to be happy.
It was a bit of a tough situation for James because they were in France, so couldn't really share this whole experience with his family or their other friends, other than Remus and Sirius of course, as they were hiding from Voldemort. Harry being the chosen one who Voldemort had marked for death had made life a little more complicated than any of them would have like, but once Voldemort was gone they would be able to all be together again and all this running and hiding with will be over and done with, James longed for the day that Reg and he could sit enjoying a glass of wine, not having to look over their shoulders in fear of being caught. It was important however that they all remained secret, for now. James did always hope everyday without fail that his ex Lily and Harry were safe as well, hidden away from harm until I could get to be with them again in our safe house. This living between two places Harry and Lily and then Regs flat, had its way of taking its toll on James but he wouldn't have it any other way at the moment.
"Looking well Mate '' Sirius announced coming through the door and handing James a beer.
"Sirius it's nine in the morning!" James explained and Sirius smirked.
"It's a day for celebrating is it not? Would you rather me sulk about all day at the idea that you're getting married?" He laughed playfully. James took the beer from him.
"No well obviously not and besides I thought you were done with all that idea," James laughed back. Sirius threw himself back on the chair near the bed.
"I am of course! I wouldn't be here otherwise now would I be Prongs, I mean sure it was a little weird at first.." he started and James lifted an eyebrow.
"A little weird? Sirius you wanted me sent to Azkaban for high treason to which Moony had to remind you that you were not in fact the Queen '' James laughed and Sirius rolled his eyes.
"I would say that is still open for debate but I digress, where is Moony anyway? He was gone by the time I got up" Sirius asked.
"He's with Regulus" James smiled and Sirius took a sip of his beer.
"Which reminds me I better make my way to Reg as well you with my big responsibility and all," He smirked, James could see the joy in his eyes for Regulus and James as he stared at James, "Now get that beer down you and lets make a move I've very excited for the after party," Sirius winked and ducked out of the door as James scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Of course you," James whispered to himself with a light laugh.
I stood at the end of the small altar in this little chapel that Regulus had chosen. He had seen it one day when they were taking a stroll through the small town and had fallen in love with it. Reg talked about it everyday since then so it was only right that would be the place they should become one forever. It wasn't made up all fancy, after all it was just a small gathering for the four of them, Remus and Sirius being their witnesses, but James still looked round his heart beat loudly in his chest, this was perfect, all of this was perfect. Remus appeared from the end of the Altar and stood facing James.
"You ready Prongs?" Remus smiled and James nodded, his hands getting sweaty with nerves.
"I have always been ready for this day," James answered him and Remus placed his hand on James' shoulder.
"I don't think I have seen you this happy since Harry was born," Remus spoke again. James' heart sank a little at the mention of Harry, he really did wish he could have had him here for this, but the most important thing was to keep Harry safe and having him being moved about was not ideal.
"Yeah I don't think I was even this nervous on Harry's birth," James smiled back and then Remus' eyes turned to the end of the Altar and with a final smile and pat on James shoulder Remus stood back to the other side of the Altar. James Eyes followed Remus's and his heart stopped in his throat as they landed on the angel carved face of the man he loved. Regulus also dressed in a matching whhite suit that fitted his body perfectly. Regulus looked content as he stared at James, a slight pink tinge to his cheeks and they smiled at one another. James wanted to run to him and hold him in his arms, but Sirius had been bumming himself up all week about getting to walk Reg down the aisle, which he hadn't actually waited to be asked to do; he had just announced he would be. so James just stood, drinking every inch of Regulus in. Imagine them later alone and how he would have him all to himself.
When Sirius had finally got Reg to the altar James smiled at Sirius, his eyes thanking Sirius for bringing Regulus to him. Sirius just nodded with a smile and took his place beside James. Regulus smiled at James, both of them unable to take their eyes from one another as the wizard named Ganon, in front of them began speaking. James was lost in Regulus' eyes only looking away to catch a glimpse of his lips. He wanted nothing more than to have them on his, but he had to wait for the ceremony. James was drunk on him not taking in anything else on Regulus, his heart was beating so hard it felt like it burst out of his chest when suddenly Regulus gave out a little laugh. James had only eyes and ears for Regulus in the moment and when Regulus's lips began to move James listened as if not listening would kill him, he wanted to savour breath of Regulus's words.
"From banging to me with a note saying 'meet me at the Hogshead' to stealing cuddles in the Astronomy tower, from learning about stars to climbing treehouses in the room that would present itself in whatever way we wanted it. You have been a magnetic force pulling me to you, pulling all my thoughts and messy kisses, pulling my very being to you. Making a tea lover fall in love with coffee coloured eyes, making a black cat of a person fall in love with a humanised golden retriever. I fell for the personification of sunshine while he took a chance on a star. James dear and you can stop laughing cause your thinking deer," Regulus was correct that James was stifling a laugh to himself, "You're my person, I'll never fuck up again if you grant me that, I do and also;
I vow to make sure there ice for whiskey,
I vow to watch cartoons with Harry even though I don't understand them, when you bring him to my flat,
I vow that we'll be R & J to beat the odds,
I vow that you'll never be alone," Regulus finished.
James felt his eyes tearing up, he was trying too hard to hold back the tears of joy as he watched Regulus smile at him, his own eyes filled with water as well. James was left speechless, now he was worried that his own vows would never match up with the beauty of the words that streamed from Reg's beautiful lips.
"James" He said softly and James just nodded, "Are you going to answer the man," He laughed and James snapped into reality.
"Oh Merlin I'm sorry I was just.." He started and gave out a nervous laugh. Sirius placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Do you have vows prepared?" Ganon asked softly and James nodded his head.
"Yes, yes of course sorry… I'm just… a little," Jame couldn't finish his sentence as he pulled the parchment from his pocket with a nervous laugh. Regulus just continued to smile, his eyes helping to calm James as he looked at him, " Regulus Black I don't think I had the ability to put properly into words what you make me feel. This emotion I feel like only belongs to us and us alone. That first date in the Hogshead was like everything my life had been leading up to, that one moment, it was perfect, it was ours. The memories I have made with you will be with me always, I would not allow such important points in time ever windle away even if I only had enough space in my mind for them, I would give everything else up just for our small little adventure. The years that you were not with was like the light had gone out, I had no hope of ever finding love again and I didn't want to because I wanted only this with you. Even though it seemed bleak and like everything else in the world didn't matter anymore I knew in my heart and in my soul that one day you would be back to me. My heart longed for it everyday. Anytime my eyes would glimpse as dark hair I would search for your face, a glimpse of pale skin made me want to reach out and look up to see your eyes and each time you weren't there I died a little more inside. I longed for only ever you Reg, it's always been you that I was destined to be, no one would ever compare or fill that whole and because you have allowed me to have again, to be mine,
I vow to never let anyone hurt you ever again,
I vow that the only reason tears will ever leave your eyes is because of joy,
I vow that would will never feel alone or broken,
I vow myself to you Regulus forever and after, to do with as you please,
And I suppose I should vow that I will always make sure there is red wine considering you always gonna make sure I have ice," James laughed at the last line, followed by the other four people in the room. Reg was blushing and looking at James tenderly, James wanted to wrap him up and fly him away.
"If we could have the rings please?" Ganon asked and Sirius suddenly began checking his pockets frantically.
"Oh Merlin's balls," he whispered to himself and James laughed as Remus stood forward.
"Sirius it's fine we have them," Remus laughed and handed a ring each to James and Regulus.
"Hey, that was my job! Sirius exclaimed.
"And look at how well you did it," Remus said back playful. Jame could see the playful smirk on Sirius's face.
"Do you James," Ganon began, "Take Regulus to be your lawfully wedded husband?" He asked and James couldn't get his smile any wider as he stared into Reg's eyes.
"I do" he whispered to Reg, placing the ring on his finger.
"Do you Regulus take James to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Gannon then asked Regulus, Regulus eyes sparkled and James felt his knees go weak.
"I do" Regulus answered back and placed the Ring on James's finger.
"Well with the power vested in me I now declare you Husband and Husband," Ganon said happily and Sirius and Remus clapped and cheered, "You may now share your first kiss as a married couple,". The kiss they shared drowned out the world, it didn't matter what was going on, only this moment. Regulus lips were soft and warm and James begged for entrance, Regulus granting it. James could have stayed like this forever, but suddenly he was pulled from his thoughts of Regulus.
"Right that's enough of this lovely dovey stuff onwards to the bar for shots!" Sirius announced, causing James and Reg to laugh into each other's mouths.

Sirius wasn't joking about the shots once the group had arrived at the little bar they had found a few days earlier, the thing Siruis did was head straight up and order four shots each for everyone. James just shook his head at his friend.
"Sirius, you know I'm no good with shots," James laughed.
"James Potter you're no good with any alcohol now are you really?" Sirius questioned back with a wink, "However it is your wedding day and what kind of brother or brother in law for that matter would I be if I didn't get you both absolutely off Merlin's tits?" He finished and held the glass up, Jame and Remus followed, Regulus just cradled his in his hand. The three boys took the shots and slammed the empty glasses down with a shout of happiness, before moving on to the other three they had. Everyone was in an incredible mood, even given the outside world situation, but it seemed here today like everything was perfect and nothing was going to ruin this. James noticed after his fourth pint that Regulus didn't seem even slightly drunk, however his glasses were empty. He wanted to question him about it when Sirius appeared with fire whiskey and sat them on the table.
"Ok lads on the count of three… One…Two… Three!" he shouted and four boys threw the glasses up towards their mouths. James watched Regulus from the side of his eye and noticed that he had missed his mouth and the drink had landed in the plant just next to him. James stared for a moment, why would Regulus not want to have fun? James knew he wasn't fire whiskey's biggest fan but surely for just today. Then it hit James as he glanced over at the soaking plant beside Regulus, who had leaned over to talk to Remus, The cause of that was definitely more than one drink. What was going on? No way wasn't… He started thinking and then suddenly his heart stopped.
"Sorry lads if you don't mind I just need a private word with my husband if you don't mind," James smiled and held out his hand for Regulus who looked confused as he stood.
"Oooh sneaking off for a little bit of…" Sirius started but was quickly silenced by Remus snapping his head at him, "Nevermind then have your quiet word," Sirius finished with a wink and Reg and James walked off.
Once James had pulled Regulus into a little room with no one in it he looked at his new husband and couldn't hide the smile on his face.
"James, is everything ok?" Regulus asked, the confused look still on his face.
"I would say everything is, however my beautiful Husband I had noticed that little trick you have been playing with your drinks care to explain why?" James asked, James really hoped he hadn't gotten the wrong end of the stick. Regulus' cheeks blushed as he quickly looked away from James and then back at him.
"I… I was going to tell you tomorrow morning," Regulus whispered, his voice gentle as he placed a hand on his stomach, "I'm pregnant with a little girl, James and I know we wanted to wait until after the wedding before we had children, like way after maybe even but it just sort of…" Regulus didn't get to finish as James pulled him in close and kissed him hard on the mouth. James could feel tears of happiness leaking from his eyes as he held his Husband close to him. It wasn't a kiss begging for touch or filled with lust; it was solely a kiss of love and tenderness. Regulus held James tight and it seemed like they stayed like that for all eternity until Regulus pulled away, wiping a few tears from his own eyes.
"This is all going to plan, everything is perfect, your perfect, our baby is going to be perfect, our little family with Harry will be perfect and I can't wait to spend the rest of my lives just being perfect with you and our family," James whispered as he leaned down and kiss Regulus stomach, over his suit.
"You're not worried or scared? I mean with baby Harry and everything going on?" Regulus asked.
"Of course not, why would I be this day just keeps getting better and better!" James said happily. Then James mind was talking about the summer holidays after sixth year when he had to return home and explain to Sirius that he had gotten his little brother pregnant.

James had gathered his Mother, Father and Sirius round the table on this Sunday morning. Sirius looked like he hadn't fully woken up but James knew this needed to be said.
"James it's so early what is going on?, I haven't fully recovered from last night," Sirius grunted as James' mother, Euphemia, placed pancakes in the middle of the table.
"Oh Sirius Honestly you should take a little break from that fire whiskey, it's only the start of your holidays there will be plenty of time," She said to him softly, petting Siriuis's head. Sirius pulled three pancakes in front of him and placed one in his mouth.
"The reason I have called you all here this morning is because well…" James paused, Sirius seemed to be examining his pancake before taking another bite, "I'm going to be a dad!" James said excitedly. James' mother and Father gasped, and the pancake fell right out of Sirius's mouth.
"Your …what?" He said dangerously, the anger flashed in his eyes.
"Yeah I'm gonna be a dad with Regulus" James finished sheepishly. The room remained silent for a moment before Euphemia spoke.
"Well this comes as a bit of a shock dear but I mean we support anything you and Regulus choose to do," She asked softly. Fleamount Potter looked like his breath was caught in his throat.
"Well we…" James started but Sirius cut him off slamming his hands down on the table and reaching across, grabbing James by his T-shirt.
"REGULUS AS IN MY FUCKING LITTLE BROTHER?" Sirius screamed and James' mother let out a little scream as she stood up and tried to separate the boys. James just looked at Sirius, his face never changing.
"YOU FUCKED MY LITTLE BROTHER AND GOT HIM PREGANT AND YOU DECDIE TO TELL ME OVER PANCAKES!" Sirius continues, as Euphemia successfully pulls him back into his chair, "This is unbelievable! FUCKING UNBELIVABLE DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE POTTER?" Sirius continued and James just looked at him concerned.
"It's not that I just fucked him. We are in love Sirius and we are going to have a baby together," James says forcefully.
"OH YOU'RE IN LOVE ARE YOUS? WELL THAT JUST CANCELS OUT THE FACT THAT HE'S AT HOME WITH MY MOTHER! DO YOU THINK IT'LL MATTER THAT YOU ARE IN LOVE?" Sirius's face was bright red as he shouted. Fleamont held his arm out.
"Ok ok let's just take a breath here before things get out of control…" He was cut off again by Sirius, who had jumped up from his seat and was standing at the sink.
"BEFORE? BEFORE? I'M SORRY ARE YOU ALL HEARING THR SAME FUCKING NEWS THAT I HAVE??" His breathing was ragged. James was frozen to his seat.
"Sirius language please," Euphemia said softly, but Sirius wasn't listening.
"THERE IS GOING TO BE NO YOU AND REG ANYMORE WALBURGA WILL NOT ALLOW THAT SHE'S GOING TO LOCK HIM IN THAT HOUSE, SHE ISN'T GOING TO LET HIM BACK TO SCHOOL…. SWEET FUCKING CHIRST JAMES ARE YOU STUPID? ARE YOU TRULY THAT DENSE?" Sirius continued screaming. James hadn't really thought about Reg going home, he had been too excited.
"I told him to come home with me," James said softly, looking at his parents.
"AND YOU THINK THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN ALL 'YEAH NO THAT'S FINE REGULUS JUST YOU RUN OFF WITH THE POTTER BOY AND HAVE A BABY' DO YOU?" It looked like Sirius was going to burst. He lifted the Maple syrup off the table and threw it at James head, thankfully Fleamont had pulled his wand out and held the bottle in mid air.
"NOT ONLY DID YOU FUCK MY OVER BY DATING HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE AND I JUST HAD TO MAKE DO WITH THAT PIECE OF INFORMATION BUT NOW YOU WANDER IN LIKE A KID IN A CANDY STORE AND ANNOUNCE YOUR HAVING A BABY…. OH YOU DICKHEAD. YOU TWO ARE WAY IN OVER YOUR HEAD, I SWEAR IF I COULD JUST REACH YOU I WILL FUCKING…." Sirisu leaped across the table and James moved out of the way as Fleamont caught Sirius and restrained him.
"That's ENOUGH THE TWO OF YOU!" his voice boomed, "Sirius room now! And James, study!" He said with all the confidence in his body. Sirius scoffed and Sent James a death glare as he pulled out his wand.
"Accio Fire Whiskey," he said and as the bottle landed in his hand he turned on his heel and stormed up the stairs.

James took a moment he never liked to think about what became of that pregnancy, 'My little Atlantis' James thought to himself as Reg's words entered his ears.
James was pulled from his thoughts by Regulus's voice.
"James I don't want Sirius and Remus to know yet, not today," Regulus's voice was pleading.
"Of course, not completely I understand well say when you're ready to my love," James answered back and placed a kiss on Regulus's lips.
"Thank you James, we better get back out there before we leave more time for Sirius to think up any more dirty jokes," Regulus smiled and pulled James by the hand.
"I'll get you some non-alcoholic wines just to play along, go you on down to the table," James smiled back and Reg gave him a little peck on the lips before disappearing off down to the table. James felt ecstatic with the news, he wanted to burst at the seams and scream it from every rooftop, but he had to respect Regulus's wishes. James went to the bar and ordered drinks for him, Sirius and Remus and non-alcohol wine for Reg so he wouldn't feel left out. James didn't know how long they had been gone from the table but it seemed like Remus and Siruis had made use of the drinks that had been sitting there as Sirius had now pulled Remus on to his lap and was nuuzzling the side of his neck with his mouth. Remus was blushing intensively as he tried to push Sirius back, but Sirius was having none of it. James sat as close to Regulus as he possibly could and placed his hand on his leg, giving it a little squeeze from time to time.
After more drinks had followed James was beginning to feel his head go fuzzy. Regulus was playing with his hair at the back and it made James want to take him back to the room and have him alone finally, the three of them now after the news tonight.
"Moony" Sirius growled lowly and Jame could see Remus's body stiffen, "I think it's time we made hit the hay don't you think, I mean we don't want to keep these two lovers from each other," Sirius continued and Remus's body shivered as Sirius ran his hand up his back.
"I guess… yeah the newly married couple," Remus slurred his words as he tried to hide the moan in his voice that seemed to drive Sirius widler as he pulled him in for a kiss. Remus pulled away breathing heavily, "Right thats us folks off to bed… come on Sirius!" Remus said quickly as he pulled Sirius by the arm out of his seat. Sirius smirked at James and Regulus.
"Don't you crazy kids do anything I wouldn't do," he winked, "and please for the peace of Merlin use protection," he laughed, Before Regulus or James had a chance to respond Remus had pulled Sirius out of sight.
"I guess we should really head to bed too," James whispered, giving small kisses down Regulus's neck, Regulus moaned slight and laughed, "Have to make sure you and the little one gets enough rest," he continued, Regulus was vibrating beside James, as James placed his hand on Regulus's stomach.
"This is the perfect start to any marriage that I could have dreamt for, you have given me everything I ever wanted and more" he said and kissed Regulus softly on the mouth, before pulling back and taking Regulus by the hand and leading him to their room.
James and Reg were in a dead sleep when James was suddenly awoken with a loud banging on their door. Sirius must have gotten even more drunk in their room and has now come to annoy Reg and James. James pulled on his robe as Regulus sat up in the bed, rubbing his eyes. James pulled the door open to be met with the face of Professor McGongall looking tense, but then again she always did.
"Professor?" James said in a tired voice trying to wake himself up, "would you like…" James was cut off with her tone as she spoke.
"No time for dilly dallying Potter you have to come back to England, in fact you all do something has happened" she said quickly and James turned to face Regulus whose face was even paler than normal.
