Chapter 4: I Just Can't Wait to Be King
Peter then went to the hair salon to visit his best friend, Wy; an Australian micronation and Peter's best friend. She was busy getting her hair done by her adopted "mother", New Zealand (Thomas. I don't know I just saw the pics of the Australian family and I just go with it). Also, Tino was bathing the other nation's hair.
"Hey, Lily" said Peter
"Hi, Peter" said Lily whose still getting her hair done
Peter leans to Lily. "Come on, I just heard about this smashing place," Peter whispered
"Not right now, I'm kind of in the middle of getting my hair done" said Lily
"Okay, son. It's your turn" said Tino. He grabbed Peter and remove his sailor cap. He started to comb his hair. (I don't know I just feel like adding it).
"Mom, Mom! You're messing up my hair." Tino was doing some adjusting to Peter's hair. Then he finished. Peter jumped off the chair. "Okay, okay, all done! Can we go now?" he said with a rushed tone. Lily was still getting her head done. She turns to Peter.
"So, where are you going? It's better not be somewhere stupid, or to Hutt River's place" she said
"No, it's really cool." said Peter
"So, where is this "really cool" place you're talking about?" said Tino. Peter flinches worried about the "secret" place that he mentioned.
"Oh…ummm…near the lake" Peter hesitating answered
"Near the river?!" said the babbling Australian micronation "What's so great about the boring, old river?" Peter smiled at Tino before lean toward Lily.
"I'll show you when we get there. Trust me, it'll be amazing" Peter whispered to Lily
"Oh. Um, Mom?" Lily gets off the chair and looks at Thomas. "Can I go with Peter"
Thomas wasn't sure about this. She can be feisty and brave, just like him. But she a micronation. It could put her life in danger. So, he turns to Tino with a worried look on his face.
"What do you think, Tino?" said Thomas
"Well…" Lily and Peter walk up to Tino with a cute smiles on their faces. Tino couldn't help but look at their cute little faces. So he has to accept their request.
"Alright, you kids have some fun now." said Tino. Peter and Lily were excited while running. "Just as long as Roderich comes too." Tino calls after them. They stopped in their tracks. Peter and Lily just groan. "No, not Roderich."
Tino gave them the cold stare, as a signal of "Bring Roderich along or no lake traveling". They reluctantly nod their heads in agreement. The scene now transitions to Roderich leading Peter and Lily to the lake.
"Come along now, kids. The sooner we arrived at the lake, the sooner we can leave." instructed Roderich. Lily leans toward Peter
"So, what are we really going." whispered Lily
"To the Gloomy Graveyard," whispered Peter. Lily shrieked in excitement before Peter hushed her to be quiet. He pointed at Roderich
"Oh, right. So how are we gonna ditch the music boy" whispered Lily
"Oh, I know…" Peter whispered to Lily's ear to talk about their plan just as Roderich turned toward the kids.
"Oh just look at you two. Little seeds of romance blossoming in the city. Your parent will be thrilled, what will you being betrothed and all." The kids gave bored expressions on their faces. Until he mention the betrothed word, which gave them a confused look on their faces.
"What do you say?" said Peter
"You know, Betrothed, Espoused, Affianced" Roderich continued. The two micronations tilt their head in confusion.
"Huh?" the two questioning micronations responded
"It's mean one day you two are gonna get married" That line causes Peter and Lily to be disgusted, considering the fact that they're children.
"I can't marry her. She's my friend." said Peter
"Yeah, it'll be so weird and gross." said Lily
"Well sorry if I burst your bubble. But you two little liebe vögel don't have a choice. It's a tradition, that spawns from generations." said Roderich. Peter decided to mock him
"Well, when I'm king, that'll be the first thing to go." Peter winked at Lily
"Not so long when I'm around." Roderich challenged
"Well in that case, you're fired." Peter countered
"Nice try," Roderich retorted "But only the leader can do that."
"Well, He's the future nation leader," Lily butted in
"Yeah, so you have to do what I tell you" Peter butted in. He gets really to Roderich and pokes him into the man's chest, causing him to trip and fall. But he manages to maintain his balance. He has his arm-crossed and scorns Peter and Lily. Also, Roderich became very irritated at the micronation's childish behaviors.
"Not yet, I don't. And with an attitude like that," The kids just rolled their eyes and walked away. "I'm afraid you're gonna be a very pathetic king indeed"
If this is war, then he has no hesitation to strike back at him. The sailor-looking micronation turned and smirked. "Hah, not the way I see it." he leaped close to the Austrian man who take a step back. The landscape around him turned into bright, colorful colors with geometrical shapes that look something straight out of Dr. Seuss. Then the music started to play
"I'm gonna be a mighty king, so enemies beware"
Peter walks closer to Roderich to the point of tripping himself into a boulder. Then Roderich push himself up
"Well, I've never seen the king or beast with quite unusual hair"
He plucks one of Peter's hairstring. Then Peter went inside the funhouse with strange-looking mirrors. He looks at one of the mirrors. One reflection looks like a skinny version of him, and One reflection looks like a fat version of himself, Then he reaches for the last mirror that looks like he has muscles.
"I'm gonna be the main event, like no king was before"
"I'm brushing up on looking down, I'm working on my RULES!"
He screamed at the top of his lung, causing Roderich to fling right into a puddle of mud.
"Thus far, a rather unsurprising thing"
Roderich wiped his face with a towel. But it turned out it was Heracle's shirt he was wiping. He then got smacked really hard by Heracle's cross. Then Peter and Lily ran through the crowd of panicking Italians, while Peter begin to sing.
"Oh, I just can't wait to be king"
Roderich got up and he was looking for Peter and Lily, who is hiding in the tall trees.
"You've rather a long way to go, young master. If you think…" Roderich was interrupted by another singing. Peter and Lily make some faces at Roderich while listing the great thing about becoming the nation's leader.
"No one saying 'do this"
"Now, when I said that…" said Roderich
"No one saying 'be there"
"What I meant was…" continued Roderich
"No one saying 'Stop that!"
"Now, what you don't realize…" said Roderich
"No one saying 'see here"
"NOW SEE THERE!-" Roderich yelled at them. Then was knocked off by Peter (who is now riding piggyback in Korea) and Lily (Who is also riding piggyback in Jamaica [Get the jokes, you'll see on the notes]) racing each other.
"Free to run around all day~"
"Well, that's definitely out" He ran to go after them
"Free to do it ALL MY WAY!"
Roderich was trying his best to run as fast as possible. But he managed to catch up with them. He ran backward to talk to them
"I think it's time for you and I, arranged a heart-to-heart"
He then accidentally crashes into a very big nation, which is unnoticed aware of that accident. Peter and Lily stopped to look at Roderich and tell him.
"Kings don't need advice for a music country for a start"
Peter and Lily run off with the aforementioned nation who is still riding on their backs. Then Roderich is starting to get very irritated.
"If this is where the monarchy is heading, COUNT ME OUT!"
"Out of service, out of the city, I wouldn't hang about"
"This child is getting wildly out of wing"
The huge pack of nations lined up in a neat, military style, like an army, to make a path for Peter and Lily while the spotlight shined on them. And Peter can't wait to become a nation leader. They walked down the path that the nations created.
"Oh, I just can't wait to be king"
Then the nations then clustered up into a big pile of relaxed mobs, squeezing between poor Roderich, who is assuming trying to get out of the pile, but with no oblige. Then Peter and Lily are skipping, playing, dancing, and leaping while following the drum-playing nations. Roderich then got out of the mobs, looking for the two mischievous micronations. He looked up, and see Peter standing at the top of the blocks. He then tries to command the other nations as he starts singing
"Everybody look left"
Roderich screamed as the entire nations (sans Peter and Lily) trampling on Roderich, much to Peter's amusement. Then he commands again
"Everything look right"
The nations trampled Roderich again, much to Peter's and Lily's amusement. Then Peter jumped from drums to drums and then onto the boulder.
"Everywhere, you look I…standing in the spotlight"
"NOT YET!" Roderich yelled at him, only to get crowded by some other nations. Peter whispered some playful nations like a Chinese whisperer. Then grabbed Roderich
"Let every people go for broke and sing"
The nations that held some huge baskets release some singing canaries while singing
"Let's hear it in the crowd and on the wing!"
Roderich was being tossed around by some playful nations, like a game of Hot Potato. Then Peter along with Lily was thrown up in the air, having the time of their life.
"It's gonna be young Peter's finest fling"
Then the playful nations try to put some makeup on Roderich who isn't amused by it. Then the nations form a colorful pyramid.
"Oh, I just can't wait to be king"
"Oh, I just can't wait to be king"
"Oh, I just can wait….."
The pyramid was about to collapse. Then chaos happened when Peter sang the last verse. Then Roderich mysteriously appeared holding the very big nation, before getting squished like a pancake.
"To be king!"
"Umm, hello. Can anyone help me out of here? Peter! Lily! Anybody?!" to no avail, he was just stuck here.
A/N: I love this song so much, not gonna lie. I have a lot of fun writing this chapter. Anyways, I hope you are ready for chapter 5.
Usain Bolt is a famous Jamaican runner and it's incredibly fast. So I decided why not added Jamaica in this story
