Glee: A Hard Life Turned Around!
Soifon headed toward glee,her hands sitting in her pockets. Shewas thinking about what they were going to dofor the week.
hopingthat Berry wouldn'tstart her whining about how she should get every solo -especially if it was the ones she wanted-The raven-haired teen sighed once she reached the classroom.She walked into the room only seeing a few other of her classmates, which were Artie, Kurt, Finn, Puck, and of course miss little know it all Rachel.
Once she stepped inside the room she walked over to sit beside her best friend Kurt who greeted her with a smile. "Gladyou are here,Soi! Berry is driving me nuts!" hejoked as he patted the seat beside him and she walked over to her fellow glee member and sat down.
She chuckled a little at his remark. "What did she do now?" she asked, setting her bag beside her chair asshe listened to Kurt.
"What don't she do? Always talk and talk about what solos she is getting!" Kurt replied,his arms crossed. Heseemed to be annoyed with the diva of their group. Soifonwas about to respond to her friend when she heard a few others coming in.She turned her attention to the door to see the three Cheerios.
Quinn wasin the front of the other two due to her being the head cheerleader, but she wasn't the one she was looking at-it was her long-time friend, the Latina Cheerio who stood on the blond left of Santana but only for a second when Kurt got her attention back.
"Hey, I was talking to you!" he whined but it didnt last long due to he realized who she was staring at. He looked at her with a knowing grin.
"You know looking at her won't help you!" hesaid gently while his friend didn't respond as she watched Santana follow Quinn and Brittney insideto sit in the back of the classroom.Soifon looked away from the three especially once she noticed Santana staring at her yet gave her a curt nod in greeting. Kurt sighed,causing the raven-haired to turn at him.
"Come on you two have been friends for how long?" he asked, leaning toward the girl who leaned back.
"Longer than I remember!" Soifon answered with a sigh. Sheknew Kurt was right..she needed to talk to Santana about her feelings, ever since the end of middle school, but the two girls had known each other since elementary. That hadmade the two girlsclose, but the two haven't talked for the past few years in middle school through some high school due to both girls being busy with school, and with Santana having Cheerios and Soifon having Martelarts.
The only time they got to talk to each other would be when they were inGlee club, along with a few other classes but for the past few monthsthey started to talk more and more again since the two girls seemed to have missed talking to one another.
Mr. Schuester walked into the room with a few music sheets in hand. "Greetings,everyone!" the man called outas he looked around the room, andseeing everyone there, he set down the pile of music sheets on his desk.
"Alright, these two weeks you will be grouped into two pairs, and then at the end of the second week you will be singing in front of the others!" he began.Soifon listened and gave a small nod and leaned into her friend "What do you think we could sing?!" shewhispered with curiosity.
SantanaPOV
Santana had walked into the glee club,seeing most of her glee mates already there. Shestood on Quinn's left while Brittney stood on the other side of the blond. Sheglanced around to see who was there andsmiled when her gaze landed on her long-time friend who was talking to Kurt -well it was Kurt who was talking to the raven-haired girl, she realized she was looking at her.
Santana senta silent hello toher with a curt nod, and witha hidden smile, the Latina looked toward Quinn who started to speak to her.
"When are you going to stop looking at Ms. Gray and go over and talk to her?" the blond asked with a small grin.
The tanned girl knew that the blond recognizedher crush on the gray-eyed girl, but that was only because she was telling her and Brittney about it. "Yeah, I think you both will make a cute couple, cuter than Berryand Hudson!" Brittney chimed in.
Santana smiled softly,which she didn't do often,but she knew the two blonds were right. Sheneeded to toughen up andtalkto her friend.
She then heard Mr.Schuesterwalk into the room who then started to explain what they were doing.
"Alright, these two weeks you will be groupedinto two pairs, and then at the end of the second week you will be singing in front of the others!" he responded in a calm tone.
It made the Latina wonder if they can choose whom they want to pair with or if he going to pair them up, and what song can they do.
"Can we pick who our partners are?" She heard Mercedes ask as if her heavy-set friend had read her mind.
"Yes, but if it takes too long and if I hear any fighting, then I will choose the pairs myself!" Mr. Schuester answered.
It made the tanned girl happy, she knew who can be paired with there were so many to choose from. Mercedes was talented just like she was, but she can be annoying especially when she wanted to prove herself that she was better than Berry.
And then there was Quinn, and Brittney who were both in Cheerios with her, but she didn't want just anyone to be her partner, the one she wanted to be her partner was sitting in front of her.
"Can we choose any song?" She heard her friend ask.
Schuester looked at her and nodded. "Yes, you can choose your song as long as your partner and you agree on the song!" he told andthe raven-haired girl nodded in response.
"Alright,find a partner and talk with them about your chosen song!" hesaid as he walked out of the room,leaving the students alone.
Santana heard Berry ask Finn if he wanted to be her partner, which she rolled her eyes at but ignored. Her officialgoal was her gray-eyed friend.
Soifon's POV
Soifon listened to Mr. Schuester talk, he was telling them they can choose their partners, along with their song, which made the girl happy she didn't care who she was paired up with, but it'll be nice to be paired with Santana.
Kurt had already left his seat to talk to Mercedes asking her if she wanted to be his partner, to which she agreed and heard others choose their partners like Berry and Finn. Brittney and Quinn, even Puck and Artie paired up.
Leaving Santana the only one left which made her smile, she was in thought that she didn't hear her Latina friend walk up to her.
"Hey, Soi!"
She turned her gaze to see Santana standing in front of her, causing her to blush a little. "Sorry, Santana I didn't hear you!" she said quietly, causing her friend to chuckle.
"Don'tworry about it!" the Latina said with a grin.
"Anyway, will you be my singing partner? Seeing that we're the two left!" Santana asked in a casual tone,causing the other girl to smile.
"I'd love to!" she cheerfullyagreed as her friend sat down beside her so they could talk about which song and even some other things.
