Alongside the version I have posted and am still producing, is Version 2. In this version, it's the same story as Version 1...but there is no massive crossover. It is completely secluded to Disney & Square Enix properties as it is in the game. This story stays the same as it follows Sora, Donald, Goofy, and a few others from Disneyland journeying across the Etherium. Enjoy.

Welcome Song Medley (Disney's Magic Kingdom, 1971)
Feat. Chorus
From the damp atmosphere of his heart…a familiar aroma of the tropical seas once again plagued the boy's nose. The familiar tropical breeze returns to course through the boy's spiky hair, and his ears picked up the pleasant sound of seagulls from above.
Groggily, the boy opens his ocean blue eyes. He was met with the piercing bright…yet warmth light of the majestic summer sun.
The tired little boy gives out a soft yawn…and blissfully lies back down to sleep. Or at least…not until…
BONK!
"GPH-HOWWWWWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!" The boy screamed out when his blissful dreamland was interrupted and replaced with a sensation of agonizing pain atop his head. He was soon greeted…by a girl.
A red-haired girl with eyes as blue as the ocean itself. The girl is wearing a white top over her black t-shirt. She wears a lavender skirt with a purple belt buckle and white and purple slip-on shoes. She wears yellow bracelets, a choker, and a shimmering pearl-shaped necklace.
"Ahh…WHAT THE HELL, KAIRI?! YA HIT ME WITH A COCONUT?!" Sora yells out rubbing his head, still feeling that excruciating pain.
"Ah, Sora you lazy bum~ Somehow I just KNEW you'd be lying down out here." Kairi says as she twirls the coconut as if it's a ball.
"G-give me a break, Kairi! I-I s-swear, there was this huge black...THING! I was surrounded and had to fight it, and those little black things too, and I almost drowned, I fell at least two or three t-OWWWWWWWW!" Sora explained before being cut off with another hit in the head with a coconut.
"You REALLY had a gnarly dream, huh?" Kairi asks, giving the boy such a wicked smile. The boy only tilts his head in confusion.
"That was...a dream?" Sora asks.
"OF COURSE, IT IS, YA LAZY BUM! Those black things you've met with, clearly were in your head and if you were drowning and falling, you wouldn't BE here, now would you?" Kairi asks, making the boy lower his head in defeat. It's clear she made some valid points.
"Yeah...I guess you're right." Sora sighs. As he soon looks up at the bright island sun. A question soon a rise in the boy's mind.
"So, Kai? Any memories of home? Y'know, the place you grew up in?" Sora asks.
"I told you, Sora, I don't remember a thing," Kairi replied.
"Nothin' at all?"
"Nothing at all."
"Oh. Well...suppose you DO remember your hometown. Would you ever want to go back?" Sora asks. Kairi ponders at that thought.
"Well...yes and no. I haven't really given it that much thought. I'm happy here, Sora, and I've made so many friends since I came here. You, Riku, Tidus, Wakka, Selphie...you're all my friends." Kairi says with a warm smile as Sora did the same. The girl lowers her head once more.
"Still...I wouldn't mind seeing it again..." Kairi says. Sora soon smiles happily at that thought.
"Me too! I'd like to see where you're from too, along with any other lands out there. Riku kept saying that every star in the night sky makes up one world...thinking about it just makes me jittery with anticipation...I wanna see them all!" Sora says raising up from the ground in determination.
"Wellllll...we could because WE need to get the raft fixed up, REMEMBER?" Kairi says giving the boy a glaring smirk. Sora chuckles nervously.
"Hehhehe...yeah...I kinda forgot..." Sora chuckles bashfully.
"WELL OF COURSE YOU FORGOT, YA BIG GOOF!" Kairi yells out amidst her chuckling.
"So, what else do we need?" Sora asks.
"We still need a few more provisions. Riku's fixing up the raft right now, we just need some supplies for the road. I think Selphie can make some medicine, and Wakka can prepare some food with the fish and fruit all around the island." Kairi explains.
"WELL, LET'S GO ASK THEM! The sooner we get everything, the sooner we'll see the other worlds! C'MON!" Sora says in an ecstatic tone as he soon darted off to the very edge of the shores without warning, as he ran and ran with such happiness on his face. Kairi only sighs.
"Another eventful days on the island." Kairi says smiling as she trailed behind the ecstatic boy. The days of their adventure begins.
Adventures of Light I: A Kingdom Hearts Crossover
Our story begins here, on the tranquil island of...
World Name: Destiny Islands
Destiny Island. A tropical paradise of relaxation, inhabited by 6 islanders: Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, Kairi, Riku, and our spiky-haired protagonist of the story: Sora.
Ever since they were children, Sora and Riku were the ones to play on this tropical paradise. At first…it used to be only them.
Then…came their friends. Friends who never grew here, in the first place. Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie tell the tales of their home known as 'Spira,' and the 'Trabia Gardens.' How their homes were destroyed by a catastrophe known as 'Sin.' And how they, specifically Tidus, plans to find their way back home.
All of this…asserts Riku's beliefs.
Riku's ambition was to explore the worlds outside of this dull and boring island. There were many cases of the existence of a greater outside world, though his questions began long ago. He tells the tale of a man who used to live on the island but disappeared without a trace.
Ever since then, Destiny Islands encountered many strange figures that clearly came from the outside world. Sora, never paid any mind to it…but even then he could only beam with excitement and curiosity with every word Riku has said.
Then…came Kairi.
She has no recollection of where she came from…only her name. It was clear she wasn't born here, either. Piece by piece however, she's been trying to remember everything about her home.
Nevertheless, this oddball group of 6 treat each other like a family…far more than their own, be it biological or adopted. There's nothing that will separate them apart and soon…they will depart on their most ambitious adventure yet.
To which our story continues here, in the next section of the island, the seaside.
"SORA, SORA! JUST WAIT UP!" Kairi yells out as she tiredly darted through a beach shore, another part of the island. The soft sound of sand rushing through her feet. Walking through the beach, she soon found herself on what appears to be a playing field. Soon, she found Sora, and another girl simply lying down on the beach...watching the tranquil ocean blue waves.
"FINALLY! You were soooooo excited about finding those other worlds, what's with the sudden 180 and relaxing already?" Kairi says to Sora and Selphie.
"We're watching Tidus and Wakka duking it out, underwater!" Selphie answered happily. Kairi tilted her head in confusion.
"Underwater? You mean..." Kairi asks, not understanding.
"They're playing Blitzball down there, hehe! Me and Selphie are just waiting to see if they'll come out." Sora answers.
"They've been down there for quite a while." Selphie says casually, as Kairi only looks at the two in confusion, as concern was hinted in her eyes.
"A while? A-are they okay, down there?" Kairi asks.
"Of course! Tidus and Wakka are known to really breathe underwater for the longest time! Longer than anyone's ever seen! That's one of the requirements of becoming a Blitzball player." Sora says as Kairi soon decided to slump down by Sora's side, wanting to watch as well.
"Are you sure... they'll be okay down there, Sora?" Kairi asks.
"Relaaaaaaaax, Kairi I'm telling you, they'll be fine." Sora says casually as he leaned back while Selphie simply watched the seas intently. Kairi, in concern, soon follows the brown-haired girl's lead.
Keep in mind, that Kairi knows nothing about the activities the islanders do, so whatever occurrences are happening during 'Blitzball' is beyond her. She watches the sea intently...hoping for something to come out.
Underwater
Deep...in the very floor of the great ocean that connects the islands and the homelands...one boy sits down...in tire. It is Tidus...simply holding his breath, as he possibly could...almost as if he's breathing underwater. With his cheeks puffed up...and his eyes closed...the boy was cautiously waiting...and waiting...and waiting.
His eyes...soon snapped open. His challenger approaches with blitzball at hand. Two goals were across from each other, one on one side, and one on the other side. Wakka, looking at the sandy-haired boy smugly, while his cheeks puffed swirls the blitzball around his finger. Tidus soon approached Wakka.
The two boys gave each other a nod. Soon, Wakka threw the ball sky high to the point of it BARELY rising from the water. Tidus was the first to swim charge at the ball, delivering a powerful dive kick, making the ball speed to the goal at the quickest pace imaginable.
Wakka, swam forward and caught the ball with his hands quick, before it could reach the goal. The impact was so powerful, that the boy's body almost inched so close to the goal. Tidus was impressed by that catch.
Wakka made a break for it, for HIS goal, before Tidus blocked him from going any further.
In this Spirian traditional game, Blitzball usually has a large set of teammates from every angle, with a complete total of 8 players: three fielders, one goalkeeper, and four defenders.
However, due to the others not knowing how to play or want to play, it only falls on Tidus vs Wakka. A solo on each team, making it a little bit more difficult to get to the goal without anyone passing.
Regardless of the lack of team, Wakka and Tidus persevere through it. Doing so, the red-haired boy threw the ball above the sandy-haired boy, and then swam BELOW the boy claiming the ball and throwing it to his goal. Wakka scores.
It seems, Tidus is agitated. There's no telling just how long they've been down here, but it's clear that Tidus has really been getting beaten by Wakka constantly at this game. Wakka only smirked playfully as he tauntingly twirled the ball around his finger.
Irritated, Tidus swam to him, clearly wanting another round. Wakka simply shrugs and threw the Blitzball sky high, once more. And once again, Tidus charged at the ball, and kicked it with all his might to his goal. The red-haired boy was so quick on his job, grabbing the ball once more, this time Tidus charged at Wakka.
Wakka...simply swam out of the way, at ease, causing Tidus to swim and stumble to the goal, giving Wakka the perfect opportunity to swim right for Tidus' goal, throwing it in, giving him another point. Tidus was furious.
Keep in mind, that this kept happening again, and again, and again. No matter what tactics Tidus uses, Wakka was one step ahead. There was no score board...but I think it's clear that Wakka's score is higher than Tidus' The sandy-haired kid was growing irritated to the point of his face turning red, bubble started to foam, and giving one big...
"GAAAAAAAHHHH!" The boy yelled out in frustration. Big mistake. The boy clamped his mouth shut, gasping for air, as his next course of action is swimming back to the surface. The boy, in such a haste darted up high for air, as Wakka was left there only to shake his head in disapproval at the boy.
The Surface
"GAHHHHHH!" Tidus screamed out looking like a mess. His face was red with anger, he was coughing and gagging water, and he even took Sora, Kairi, and Selphie by surprise and shock, as they only looked at the wet angry kid.
"Wow...whatever happened down there must've been rough." Sora says casually, earning a punch on the back of the head by Kairi. "OWWWW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Sora screamed out as Kairi only glared at the boy. Clearly she wasn't having it with Sora, today.
"TIDUS! WAKKA, ARE YOU TWO ALRIGHT?!" Kairi called out, completely concerned for the two boy's health. Soon, casually coming up from the water comes Wakka, as he gracefully spit water out like a fountain.
"WE'RE FINE, KAIRI, WE'RE FINE...Or at least I WOULD BE FINE IF IT WASN'T FOR HIM!" Tidus yelled out earning a playful smirk from Wakka.
"DUDE! How? HOW are you so good? WE SHOULD BE AT LEAST EQUAL, HERE! What's your secret? There's GOTTA be a secret, dude! C'MON TELL ME!" Tidus challenged to Wakka, as the red-haired boy only nodded his head no.
"Nah, bruh, there's no secret. The only secret I've got here...is practicing. You should try that too, sometimes?" Wakka says sarcastically.
"I DO PRACTICE! I practice all day and all night, dude, even you should know that! It's not my practicing here dude it's...IT'S JUST YOU'RE TOO GOOD AT THAT!" Tidus yelled out.
"Bruh, I train, the same way you train. It's just...I've got a little more experience." Wakka simply says as he casually places his arms behind his forehead.
"EXPERIENCE! GRRRRRRRRR...WELL S-SO DO I! M-MY FATHER'S A WORLD CHAMPION BLITZBALL PLAYER! If anything, I should have more experience than you, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!" Tidus yelled out as Sora, Selphie, and Kairi simply watches as the arguments unfold.
"Wow, Tidus and Wakka are really going at it, huh?" Selphie asks.
"I know...kinda reminds me of a certain two." Kairi says as she looks at Sora and gives the boy a smirk. The boy tilts his head in confusion.
"...Huh?" Sora asks.
"HEY!" A male voice called out, gaining Sora, Kairi, and Selphie's attention as Tidus and Wakka were swimming back to shore. A boy carrying driftwood, cloth, and rope came up to all of them.
A boy with silver hair, wearing a yellow and black top with black X straps, black pants with blue overalls, black leather gloves, and white and blue sneakers.
Sora and Kairi's more 'mature' friend, Riku.
"Somehow I get the feeling that ALL of you forgot something and most importantly, someONE?" The silver-haired boy says in an irritated tone.
"Yo, Riku, brah, how's it hanging, man?" Wakka asks. The silver-haired boy's name is Riku.
"So, do I get a thank you or ANYTHING?" Riku asks as everyone looks at him in confusion.
"A thank you for...what, dude? What have you done today?" Tidus asks as Riku only rolled his eyes at the sandy-haired wet boy.
"What haveIdone today? FAR more than all of you, that's for damn sure. While all of you were slacking off and playing Blitzball, you'll be happy to know that I finished building the raft." Riku explained.
"HEY! WE WEREN'T PLAYING BLITZBALL, RIKU...we were perfecting our skills. There's a difference." Tidus asserts.
"So, you admit you were slacking off, brah?" Wakka asks playfully.
"YOU'RE ONE TO TALK, MR. 'I'VE BEEN PRACTICING WHEN I WAS YOUNG, AND I'M JUST ABOUT PERFECT!'" Tidus yelled out, completely glaring daggers at each other.
"Oh brother, a hothead...even for me." Riku sighs. Soon Riku turns to Kairi, hearing her small chuckles.
"Hey, don't forget, you're just as lazy as they are, Kairi." Riku says. Kairi simply chuckles again.
"So, you've noticed." Kairi replied in a playful tone.
"Can we see the raft, Riku?" Selphie asks.
"Yeah, can we?" Sora asks.
"I don't see why not. So long as you keep those two on a leash, I don't want them breaking the raft when it's so close to done." Riku says as he pointed to the comical dust swirling around as Wakka and Tidus were fighting.
The Seaside Shores
Another eventful day throughout the Destiny Islands...another day of fun on this eventful island. As the sun was starting to shine down, and the skies begin to go from blue to orange and purple, the day is turning into night. The blissful island sunset...is a beautiful thing to admire in the great skies. However, there's one thing left to do, before the group of 6 would call this a night.
Riku simply took a head start while Sora, Kairi, Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie simply followed the boy to the Seaside Shores, just passing through the jungle clearing.
Soon, making their way to the shores of the land, they look in awe as they see a medium sized raft waiting for them, with a rope tied to it and a wooden pole.
"You guys like it? It needs a few more finishing touches, but I think it's safe to say, it'll carry the 6 of us off this rock. I made sure of that using almost all the driftwood we can muster here. I want this adventure to be the best experience for all of us." Riku says as Sora, Selphie, and Kairi looks at the raft in awe.
"Wow...it's amazing..." Selphie says in awe.
"Pfft, I've seen better." Tidus says rolling his eyes.
"You really went all out on this raft, ya, Riku? Do you REALLY think that this ting can take us to Spira, or Kairi's homeland?" Wakka asks admiring the craftsmanship of the raft. Riku simply sat down on it, with a knife and a stick, as he began scraping the bark from...the bark.
"Could be, Wakka. We won't know until we find out, ourselves. For all we know...the stories you and Kairi tell...could be lies, and Spira just isn't real. We'll never know until we set sail...and find out." Riku simply says.
"...Dude..." Tidus simply says bluntly, before being interrupted by Sora as the boy sat down on the sand by Riku's side.
"But just how far could a raft take us?" Sora asks as Selphie nodded with the boy.
"Who knows? If we have to, we'll think of something else. But until then, the raft will be our journey to knowledge. Everything will be answered when we get there. We'll know where Kairi came from, we'll see Spira with our own eyes...and we'll know...just why we're here." Riku explains.
"But...suppose there really ARE other worlds out there, Riku, and suppose Spira just isn't a neighboring island...what are you gonna do there?" Kairi asks. Tidus soon decided to sit down on the sand as well.
"Well...I don't really know much about Spira, but all I know is that my father...and all the greatest Blitzball players are in Spira...located in a great metropolis somewhere in the ocean...a place known as...Zanarkand. Once I get off this rock and find Zanarkand, I'm finding my old man." Tidus explained.
"Zanarkand...I hope you find it. I heard that place is a myth, brah." Wakka says as he sat by Tidus' side.
"Once we set sail...I'll be the first to prove everyone that it's real." Tidus says determinedly. Riku soon lowers his head.
"That's quite the goal, Tidus. If anything, you're a step ahead of me. I...REALLY haven't given much thought about something like that. It's just...I've always wondered why we're here on this island. If there really are any other worlds out there, why did we end up on this one?" Riku asks.
"Hmmm...it's not like we've been given a choice, man. You may see this place as a boring chunk of rock, but I get past that sight, man...cause this rock...it's just a small chunk...of something much greater." Wakka says shrugging it off.
"But that's just it, dude. Suppose there really are other worlds out there and suppose ours is just a little piece of something greater. We could've just as easily ended up somewhere else, right?" Riku asks Wakka. The boy ponders as he only sighs.
"Aie...my head, man...it hurts cause of all this...thinking...ya? I just don't know" Wakka simply says as he soon laid on the sand.
"Exactly. You don't know, I don't know, none of us knows. That's why we need to go out there and find out." Riku says as he got up off his seat and stood as the sunset blasted on his face, and the waves washing through his feet.
"Sitting here, just won't change a thing. It's the same old stuff...our story doesn't change...not one bit. We're at an endless loop with no occurrences. Soon, we'll come to a point where Chocobo Racing, Blitzball...it...it just won't sustain us anymore. We can't keep staying here in this unchanged scenery. So, let's go." Riku simply says.
"Riku..." Sora simply says.
"Heavy stuff, man..." Wakka simply says.
"You've been really putting allot of thought in this lately, haven't you?" Selphie pipes up, as the breeze blows through Riku.
He soon turns to everyone, Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, and Kairi, in specific. Kairi, however, wasn't paying attention as she was simply tinkering with some seashells on the sand.
"It's honestly all thanks to all of you, especially you, Kairi." Riku says, finally gaining Kairi's attention.
"Out of everyone here, you're the one that really got me thinking. If you hadn't come here, and if Sora hadn't found you washed up on the shore that day, then...I don't think I'd ever think any of this up...so thank you...Kairi." Riku says, as Kairi gives him a warm smile.
"Of course!" Kairi says happily.
"By the way, Kairi...what's that you're making?" Selphie asks out of sheer curiosity as Sora peered over her work. It appears to be some sort of necklace in process.
"I'm making a little necklace out of Thalassa Shells." Kairi says.
"Thalassa Shells? What for?" Tidus asks. Kairi soon looks down at the shells with such interest.
"Long ago, sailors would wear these necklaces and pray for a safe trip. They would also pray...that no matter where they are, they would always come back...one day. I'm gonna make one for all of you...son, as a token of good luck for our voyage." Kairi says.
"Aww, that's really sweet, Kairi~" Selphie says happily.
"Yah, that's really nice of you, Kairi, thanks." Wakka says.
"Of course! No matter what, you're all my friends. No matter how far we are, and no matter what becomes of our journey, we'll always come back to each other, in the end." Kairi says sweetly. Soon, with such a big smile on his face, Sora soon stood up from the sand, and with a flag in his hand he went to Riku's side, looking at the bright sunset.
"So how about it, everyone? Together, the 6 of us, we can overcome ANYTHING the world has in stored for us! SO, LET'S HAVE THE BEST JOURNEY EVER!" Sora yelled out as he raised the flag up high.
"YEAH!" Everyone shouted out, except Riku, to which he took something out from his pocket.
"Y-HEY!" Sora yelled out to which Riku threw that something right at Sora's face. It appears to be some sort of...star-shaped fruit.
"A gift for you, to me, Sora." Riku says as Sora took the star-shaped fruit off his face. He only looked at it in confusion.
"A...Paopu Fruit?" Sora asks.
"If two people share one, their hearts and their destinies will be intertwined. They'll remain apart of each other's lives, no matter what. Shouldn't you...try it out before we leave?" Riku says raising his eyebrows playfully as everyone around the boy began to giggle.
"Oooooh~who will you try it out WITH, tho?" Selphie says playfully.
"Sora, you sly dog, you." Wakka says mischievously.
"Heh, poor guy." Tidus chuckles.
"Uh-uhhh..w-wait hold on, WHAT?!" Sora yelled out in complete confusion.
"Y'know I could just try it out with K-" Riku says devilishly. Sora's eyes widen as he soon tucked the star-shaped fruit to his chest.
"N-NO! I-I-I-I-I-I DON'T HAVE TO EAT IT WITH SOMEONE! I-I-I-I'LL EAT IT MYSELF!" Sora retorts as he only scarfs down on the Paopu Fruit violently. Everyone simply chuckled and laughed at the boy's dismay.
"Well, I've gotta get home, ya? Want me to fish, before I go, Kairi?" Wakka asks.
"Of course, it would REALLY be help, Wakka, thanks!" Kairi says as she waved to the orange-haired boy.
"Anyone got a survival kit? This journey ain't gonna be an easy one." Tidus asks as everyone began to start walking, all except Sora who's basically too busy violently eating fruit.
"My dad's got one, don't worry, I've got us covered." Riku says as he continued to walk.
"Alright cool, cool, good luck being the LAST to go home tonight, Wakka, HAHA!" Tidus says as he playfully taunts Wakka as he was making a break for the boats.
"Hey, Tidus, SLOW DOWN!" Selphie says as she trailed behind the sandy-haired boy, leaving alone Sora and Kairi. The red-haired girl only looked at the girl, and nodded her head in disappointment.
"Y'know they're gone, you can drop the fruit. And don't worry, I won't tell anyone." Kairi says as Sora shifted his eyes here and there. No one was in sight. He stopped violently eating the Paopu Fruit...getting to half of it, throwing that uneaten half to the sand, as he pouts with his face red.
"Did you enjoy eating the Paopu Fruit?" Kairi asks.
"...It was delicious." Sora says bluntly.
"You're such a goofball, Sora, hehehe. Don't ever change that." Kairi chuckles
"Hehe, I won't don't worry." Sora says.
"Sooooo~ Who were you REALLY going to share that Paopu Fruit with, though?" Kairi asks playfully, once again feeling Sora tense up.
"N-NOT YOU TOO!" Sora yells out bashfully as he tried to hide himself with his hood, he soon noticed Kairi darting off amidst her laughter. Lifting his hood up, the boy tried to catch up to her...as they, the last ones...minus Wakka, were running off to the sunsets...as the night begins to creep itself in the corner.

The most magical place on earth~
Is here!

Disneyland is not only a massive amusement park, and resort, but home to the most…silliest creatures in the Etherium. Walking amidst humans and animals of all kinds are creatures known as…Toons. Silly, cartoon characters that take the form of mostly anthropomorphic animals or inanimate objects.
As said before, there are many lands that make up this land, as Magic Kingdom takes the position of the central land. From the majestic castles and Kingdoms of Fantasyland, to the adventurous and daring pirated jungles of Adventureland. From the pathway to spookiness of New Orleans Square, to the futuristic space adventures of Tomorrowland.

Needless to say, Disneyland has almost everything the hearts of children AND adults could desire.
"Hehehehe, oh are you excited? CAUSE I'M EXCITED, of course I'm excited, why wouldn't I be excited?" Roger prattles on comically as many human cast members came running out of the entrance and in their designated place around the toon rabbit and in a line.
"Whoopsie, I'm getting ahead of myself, hehe. In a few moments, we'll be officially opening the doors to our happily lil' Magic Kingdom of ours! But first, we can't open the park until ol' Mickey Mouse and his looney, toony, friends, arrive on the ol' Walt Disney Steam Train! After all, they've been busy making new memories! SOOOOOO, how about we LET THE NEW MEMORIES BEGIN!" Roger announces as he glanced at the fine and dandy friends before him.
"So, whatdayasay, folks? How about we give all of our guests a fine howdy-dowdy-do?" Says the ecstatic rabbit toon.
"HI THERE! Good to see ya!" They all say to the guests in unison.
"And a warmfully warm welcome to ALL of our new friends!"
"HELLO! WELCOME!"
"And a gooooooooood morning, from ALL of us here, at the MAGIC KINGDOM HEHEHEHE!" Roger exclaims excitedly as the dandy cast members begin to sing and the crowd cheers.

Finally, on the ground. Two male chipmunks, and a female mouse of the same size. One chipmunk with a black nose, the other with a red nose. The two male chipmunks adorn themselves in yellow apron with leather gloves.
Meanwhile the mouse has blue eyes, peach fur, and long-orange hair tired in a ponytail. Her attire is somewhat similar to her chipmunk companions. She wears a purple shirt with yellow overalls, leather gloves, and goggles atop her head.
These are the but a few of the royal residence of Disney Castle, on the train to Main Street to meet the guests and open the park.
Donald Duck, the majestic Court Magician. Grand Archer and Prince of Disneyland, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit; along with his sweetheart Princess Ortensia.
Chip, Dale, and Gadget Hackwrench. Masterful Imagineers, and Disneyland's Rescue Rangers. The three rodents rest atop the royal pet, Man's best friend, Pluto.
Leading this band of toons…is the majestic and radiant Minnie Mouse. The Queen of Disneyland.
But…something's missing. What's a Queen without her King? Where is the KING of Disneyland?
"Are you SURE that none of you have seen him, this morning? Not at all, yes?" The majestic Queen asks in exasperation.
"I've always done my daily run through the town AND the castle, your Majesty," Donald explains.
"US TOO!" Chip exclaims.
"And there ain't a SINGLE sight of him!" Dale finishes. It's clear that even the royal toons are trying to decipher the mystery of the missing King.
"Definitely not like Mickey to just…up and bail on us during the opening ceremony." Gadget says in concern.
"Do you…do you think something happened to him? W-what if he got kidnapped or worse?" Ortensia says in concern until Donald nods his head in disagreement.
"Impossible." He barks…or in his case QUACKS, bluntly.
"Deep within the castle's corridors is the MAGICAL Cornerstone of Light, Princess. Created by only the GREATEST Wizards out there. It detects even the SMALLEST hint of deceit as a precaution to keep us and our guests safe." Donald explains.
"Geez, talk about an exposition dump." Chip quipped.
"Uhhh…so, in short, Donald?" Ortensia asked, clearly not understanding.
"In short, it ain't possible for ANYONE to knab the King without the Cornerstone workin' its Magic." He concludes.
"Donald's right," The Queen intervenes. "Which can only mean that Mickey left by his own volition."
"But…where could he be?" Gadget asks.
"He could be ANYWHERE! The park's so big, and I ain't even counting the Magic Kingdom!" Chip says in exasperation.
"Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Duckburg, Wasteland, Country of the Musketeers…yeesh, Disneyland's bigger than I thought." Oswald couldn't help but say.
"Alright," Minnie sighs. "I know this is going to be tiresome, but if we work together then we'll find him. I know we will!" Minnie assures the colorful cast of toons.
"By the way, Donald, we seem to be short two others from the Sensational Six." Ortensia adds. Oswald blinks realizing his sweetheart is right.
"Yeahh. Now that ya mention it, where're Daisy & Goofy?" Oswald asks.
"Daisy's staying behind to see if there're any clues around the castle about the King's whereabouts. And Goofy decided to skip the opening ceremony to spend some time training Max. He was behind schedule and wanted to make it up to him." Donald explains.
"Goofy with a schedule?" Chip asks.
"That's almost terrifying." Dale & Gadget couldn't help but say.
CHOOOOOOOOOO!
All of their commotion was interrupted by the train whistle. The Brave Engineer, Casey Jones, looks back at the toons.
"Get ready, everyone! The train depot is just around the corner. You might have to think of something fast, since Mickey needs to greet everyone." Casey says. Everyone minus Oswald and Ortensia gulped in concern.
"For now…it looks like we have other problems…" Minnie sighs.
"Queen Minnie's right. Everyone'll be expecting the King to open the doors and kick off the festival…" Chip says in concern.
"What'll we do?" Dale asks. Donald soon realized something.
"You two!" He exclaims pointing to the Prince & the Princess. "You said you had a plan, didn't you?" Oswald smiles cockily.
"The audience wants Mickey? I say we give 'em Mickey," Oswald says determinedly as everyone minus Ortensia looks at the lucky rabbit in confusion.
"MAKEUP!" Ortensia exclaims as she took out her purse and out came a pallet of blush the same color as Minnie's face. Oswald, at ease took off his own fluffy tail powered his face to share the same pink color.
"Contacts!" Oswald says as he took from his pockets a container of eye contacts. He looks away and places them on, revealing his dotted eyes to turn into pristine white eyes with black pupils.
"And the pèace de résistance," The Rabbit Prince soon dusts off the remaining blush off his fluffy tail and soon rolled it up until it's nothing but a thin string. He places back on his behind, now transformed.
Minnie, Chip, Dale, and Gadget mused at the rabbit in awe. It's like they're looking at a completely different person. Donald, however…is not impressed.
"You forgot something, Oswald." The Court Mage says pointing at his-
"Say no more." The confident rabbit says. Soon, he directed all of his strength towards his ears. Struggling, the rabbit curls his pitch-black ears. As strenuous as it is, the rabbit curled his ears in, forming two circles. He pats them down to flatten them…
And voila. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit has now taken the form of…Mickey Mouse.
"Whadaya think, fellas?" Oswald asks in his best impression of the mouse's high-pitched voice. Everyone claps in amazement. He actually pulled it off.
"Amazing, Oswald!" The Queen says.
"Why, ya look just like him!" Dale exclaims.
"You even SOUND like him…" Gadget says in awe.
"THAT'S my honey-bunny~" Ortensia says hugging the lucky rabbit. The Prince looks back to his Queen.
"I've been staring at Mickey's face my entire stay in Mickeyjunk Mountain. How could I NOT get his looks down?" Oswald says cockily. Soon enough, the toons can hear cheering and singing from outside.
Magic Kingdom Chorus
Casey Junior's comin' down the track
Comin' down the track, with a smokey stack
Hear him puffin' comin' round the hill
Casey's here to thrill, every jack n' jill~
It looks like they're approaching the Magic Kingdom with each passing conversation.
"OH LOOKEY, EVERYONE! The steam train's arriving! Now we can open the Magic Kingdom!
Roger & Magic Kingdom Chorus
HIP-HIP HOORAY!
"How long are you able to pull it off?" Minnie whispers to Oswald amidst the singing and cheering.
"I think I can manage. The speech isn't that long, anyway." Oswald assures.
"Good luck," Minnie & Ortensia say cautiously.
"Don't get caught." Donald mumbled. Everyone soon got up from their seats, put on a radiant or goofy smile, and began the welcoming…of the most Magical Place on Earth.
Magic Kingdom Chorus
Time for lemonade and Cracker Jack
Casey Junior's back! Casey Junior's back again!
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah~ Zip-a-dee-ay!
My oh my, what a wonderful day!
Plenty of sunshine~ Headin' our way!
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah~ Zip-a-dee-ay!
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah~ Zip-a-dee-ay! (Casey Junior's comin' down the track)
My oh my, what a wonderful day! (Comin' down the track, with a smokey stack)
Plenty of sunshine~ Headin' our way! (Hear him puffin' comin' round the hill)
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah~ Zip-a-dee-ay~ (Casey's here to thrill, every jack n' jill~)
"Wish me luck!" Oswald says quietly amidst his smile as he and everyone came out of the train. Cheers bellowed through the entryway as the small 'mouse' soon came forward and next to the tall rabbit.
"LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE ONE, THE ONLY, KING MICKEY MOUSE AND ALLLL THE GANG, FOLKS!" Roger cheers as everyone else cheers. Oswald quietly coughs as he lets out his Mickey Mouse impression.
"HIYA, EVERYBODY! Gosh, it's GREAT to see ya!" 'King Mickey Mouse' says as all the people cheered. Luckily for the rabbit, no one suspects a thing. Not even Roger.
"Hohohohoooo, Gosh, Mickey, we thought ya'd never get here! But what the heck, it's great to see you and ALL your friends, ain't it, everyone?!" Roger yells out extatically as he dismissed his megaphone as everyone cheered as their answer.
"So, whatdayasay, ol' buddy, ol' pal? Are we ready to open up the Magic Kingdom?" Roger asks in anticipation.
"We sure are!" Oswald chippered.
"YA-HOOO!" Roger cheers. "I'M SO EXCITED! Okay, WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU, LET'S GIVE THIS KINGDOM A BIG COUNTDOWN TO OPEN THE PARK!"
"Sounds swell! Say gang, count nice and loud!" Oswald says in agreement. "Here…we..GO! AND…"
10, 9, 8,
Amidst the crowd counting down, the toons can look to see Oswald nervously trying to hold his ears from uncurling. The group could only look nervously that the mouse could be revealed in seconds
7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2,
1!
At the last minute, Oswald clamped his ears and looked away for ONE SECOND, from the audience, as the crowd cheers and the confetti flies. The gates to the Magic Kingdom…have opened.
"OH, uh ha-ha! WELCOME TO THE MAGIC KINGDOM!" Oswald says looking back at the group with his ears curled and flattened once more. Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Ortensia, and the chipmunks sighed in relief.
It's all pure magic, wrapped up in pixie dust
Welcome to a place where dreams come true~
A timeless journey, through lands of fantasy~ (Fantasy!)
Where only a wish, creates things like this to appear~
Good move on you, Oswald. As the toons got closer to the railing, they have a…secret conversation as they smile and wave at the audience.
"Now what?" Donald whispers to the Queen amidst his smiling and waving.
"Let Roger and Oswald finish their closing announcement. Follow the morning routine accordingly. The moment we enter those gates, we split up and find Mickey." The Queen whispers to her friends.
The most magical place~ (The most magical place)
THE MOST MAGICAL PLACE ON EARTH…IS HERE~!
Soon Roger stepped up next to 'King Mickey' and gave his closing announcement.
"Ohohoh, And with that, We'd like to thank ya all for joining us this morning! OHHHH, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YA ALL WHEN YA GET TO TOONTOWN! Anyway, have fun everybody, GOODBYE!" Roger says as he speeds away to the entrance. Everyone else from the chorus to the toons followed…all except for Oswald, who gives the audience the last words.
"Have a Disney day, everybody! See ya REAL soon!" Oswald says as smiled and waved until EVERYONE on the railing enters the park through the train station, leaving him for last.
"We now ask that you walk slowly and safely to your destination and enjoy the rest of your day, in the Magic Kingdom!" The announcer announces, as the Magic Kingdom has officially opened.
Oswald soon speeds off, being the last to leave.
Now that one problem is solved…the toon cast now must handle the true task at hand: finding the TRUE King of Disneyland.
Disney Castle
Luckily, the Toon Cast aren't the ONLY cast looking for the King. In the distance of Main Street, U.S.A, there stands a towering silver and blue castle. A plaza reaching to the castle stands a statue in the middle of the plaza.
A statue…of a man…and a mouse.
This is the castle of said mouse and his dearest friends. This is Disney Castle. As the Disney Park guests began to stroll their way to the plaza, a singular toon watches them within the castle walls.
A female duck with pristine-white feathers and shining lavender eyeshadow. Just like Minnie and Ortensia, the female duck adorns herself in a shimmering pearl ballgown. In her satin-gloved hands…a shimmering white & gold book brimming with White Magic.
It was the Grand Scholar, Daisy Duck. A true friend to Queen Minnie, and sweetheart to Court Magician, Donald.
"Okay, let's try this again…WHERE IS HE?" She says as she levitates her spellbook, brimming with magic, at the bucket-carrying broomsticks. It seems HER way of finding the King is through…interrogation.
"Someone…has taken our King. I don't know how, and I don't know why…but I WILL find out." Daisy says maliciously as she twirls a book with merely her thoughts.
"Ho-ho…and when I do~ ooooh, if you think you'll get sympathy from me or the Queen, then you're sorely mistaken." The duck then aims at the middle broom, making it stiff in terror. She soon tapped her beak in pondering.
"Okay, okay. You'll PROBABLY get SOME bit of sympathy from the Queen, but not me, buster! Not me! But…what if they're a BIG fan of him?"
"And keep him all to themselves? Yeah right!"
"It could happen…after all, you can't tell with the guests, sometime." I think she's having fun talking to herself. Is she mad? Aren't all toons mad? It could happen.
"Well, I'll give you that but…D'OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!" In frustration, Daisy slammed her book to the ground, summoning a magical gust of wind that extends across the colonnade. From the spell, butterflies fluttered throughout the halls.
Stricken with fear, the broomsticks fled, strangely feeling their running speed increased. Probably an effect from the spell, perhaps?
Luckily, no one was around.
"Ah, Expedient." Or so the duck thought as she picked up her book. "I could use the movement increase. Ehh, though probably not the best to use it all willy-nilly, wouldn't you say, lass?"
The Duck Scholar sighs in relief as she looks upon but another duck approaching her. An old duck adorned in a red coat, black spats, and a top hat.
Smugly looking at Daisy is no doubt the richest duck in Duckberg, and perhaps even all of Disneyland…or better yet…the richest duck in the entire Etherium.
Scrooge McDuck.
"Oh, it's only you, Scrooge. Listen, I don't have time to chit-chat. If you're looking for Minnie, she's not here." Daisy says as she continues to pace back and forth the Colonnade.
"Well, if ya aren't too busy terroizin' the brooms, perhaps you can pass on a message to the Queen that-" Scrooge starts but was immediately interrupted by Daisy.
"Look, whatever cockamamie thing's going on in Duckburg, it'll have to wait. Dammit, I can't do this under pressure!" Daisy says in distress as she looked out the window.
"Mickey…you REALLY made of mess of things this time. Just…where ARE you?" The duck couldn't help but ask as she gazed upon the lush green garden before her.
A massive hedge maze throughout the lush field of green…and a Mickey-shaped fountain just in the center of the maze.
Throughout the courtyard there are trimmings of silly cartoons; a fine garden. It took a lot of effort to replicate the Daisy Gardens from her old hometown, Toontown, but the effort was worth it…just to see such a majestic display.
"Ehh, Lass, if it would make ya feel better, I-" Scrooge starts as he soon joins her alongside the window. To which, the duck stops him…again.
"Wait, wait, wait…is that Goofy & Max?" Daisy asks as she and Scrooge looks to the garden, closely.
They both notice two buck-toothed dog toons in the center of the gardens. The tallest dog toon was adorned in a knight's helmet, an orange jumpsuit, shimmering silver sabatons, a singular gauntlet…and a tiny knight's helmet atop his head. In his gloved hands a large circular shield.
The teenage dog toon had similar apparel. He has shimmering silver sabatons & two knight's gauntlets, just like his father. Only he was wearing an orange sweater and jeans. In HIS gloved hand is a short blue & silver lance with a golden tip, and symbols similar to the other toon's shield.
It was the Captain of the Royal Guards, Goofy; with him was his son, Max Goof, a Royal Guard in training. And it seems Daisy's gazing upon their training session.
A dummy stands before Max. And in the dummy's hands are two buckets held up high.
"Alrighty, Maxie, remember what I taught ya! Focus on nothin' else but the buckets. Grip the shields tightly, and throw when you're ready." Goofy instructed as Max did as his father said and focused.
The young boy gave deep breath…and sighed. Soon he gripped both his teeth and his weapon…and charged forth.
"GAAAAAAHHHHH!" A battle cry was heard throughout the Garden as he rushed towards the scarecrow. The moment he approached the dummy was the moment delivered a mighty upper slash.
"HA!" He cries out.
CLANG!
Cleanly, slashed the bucket out of the scarecrow's left hand as he was still in the air, aiming at the right hand.
"Way to go, Maxie! Now comes the hard part. Remember what Donald taught ya, you've gotta actually focus. Concentrate on nothin' but your target." Goofy explains as his son did so, while in the air.
"Right! Focus…focus…" Max says as he was in deep thought about his next move. At that moment the boy's lance glowed a shimmering green glow as wind gathered around it.
"Now call out that spell!" Soon…he calls out his next attack.
"TRUE THRUST!" Max calls out has he hurls his lance with the wind as its guide. Unfortunately, His face immediately drooped as he saw the lance flying past the bucket…
CLANK!
"BAAWK! BAWK BAWK BAWWWWWWWK!" And instead, such a powerful attack cleanly sheered one of the hedges manned the Castle Gardener, Clara Cluck.
Daisy, meanwhile, couldn't help but laugh at the commotion going on in front of her.
"A-hyuk! SORRY, CLARA!" Goofy calls out as both he and Max chuckles bashfully. Clara only mumbles and squawks in annoyance as she continues tending to the toony topiary. Max, meanwhile could only look in disappointment.
"Aw, doncha worry, Max. You'll get it next time." Goofy says as he approaches his son.
"It…just doesn't feel like I'm getting any better, dad. At this rate, I'll NEVER be a Royal Guard." Max says in frustration.
"AH, CHIN UP, LAD!" Soon the two dogs looked to see both Daisy and Scrooge looking at their training session. "You ain't gonna be Royal Guard material with THAT attitude! All it takes is a bit o'hard work and dedication!"
He's right, Max! If it's any consolation, I've been watching your skills go up since day 1!" Daisy cheered on.
"Hiya, Daisy! Mr. McDuck!" Goofy waves to his friend.
"You really think so, Ms. Daisy?" Max couldn't help but ask.
"Your Magic's really improving! And I should know, your teacher's the one that taught ME a thing or two. So chin up, Max!" Daisy compliments.
"Y'know, I think she's right!" Goofy says happily.
"Aye, the lass IS right." Scrooge cheers on, happily. Max couldn't help but look at Daisy, Scrooge, and his father with such…a hopeful gleam in his eyes. To think…he has such support all around.
"By the way," Daisy starts earning the two's attention. "You two wouldn't happen to see Mick at any point today, would you?"
The two looked at each other and shrugged.
"Gawrsh, I didn't see the King all day, now that ya mention it." Goofy says earning a defeated sigh from the Grand Scholar.
"Was he not at the opening ceremony?" Max asks.
"No one's seen him today. Pluto, Minnie, Donald, and the Chipmunks had to open the gates without him." Daisy says shruggingly.
"Gawrsh…the King went missing?" Goofy says scratching his head in confusion.
"Wonder where he went…" Max says pondering. Scrooge, meanwhile pinches the bridge of his beak in frustration.
"That's what I've been tryin' to tell ya, ninnies! The King is-" Scrooge starts…when suddenly…
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Taking the four toons and Clara by surprise, an explosion was heard from the door on the farthest reaches of the Colonnade.
"Bawk?" Clara bawks.
"What was that?" Goofy asks.
"Can't get a single word in, huh…?" Scrooge sighs.
"Uhhhh...I'll go check it out. You three uhh…you three go back to your regularly scheduled programs!" Daisy says as she and Scrooge soon frantically walked through the Colonnade in search of what the explosion was.
Sure enough, they see smoke bellowing out from another set of big doors. Atop those big doors is a golden plaque with a symbol of a book & quill. One could surmise that this is the Castle Library. The moment Daisy and Scrooge approached the door…they heard voices.
"SEE, THIS IS WHY WE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, LOUIE!" A frazzled and frustrated teen's voice exclaims.
"Dude, chillaaaaax, ever heard of improvision? I mean…I'm sure that's something Dewey would know, since HE'S the bard." A laxed voice inquires.
"HEY, LEAVE ME OUTTA THIS!" Another voice retorts.
"Guys, we should PROOOOOBABLY get outta here, since…y'know, there's a chance that somebody might've heard the explosion?" A girl's voice says cautiously.
"NOT 'TILL I LAY IT ON THICK WITH MR. IMPROVISION, OVER HERE!"
"Oh, the little Devils." Scrooge says rolling his eyes in amusement at the conversation. As did Daisy. They both KNEW the causes of the explosion.
"Your nephews are a bunch of troublemakers, y'know that right?" Daisy quips as Scrooge only shrugged.
"Ah, it can't be helped. Trouble runs rampant in the blood of Clan McDuck." Scrooge says confidently as he pounds his chest, proudly.
Rolling her eyes, Daisy quietly opened the door to the Castle Library. A large and crimson hall with a velvet carpet, bookshelves & paintings mounted on the walls…and a window with a view of the entire kingdom of Disneyland.
IN the library, we see four young ducklings covered in soot, as well as everything in proximity of the bubbling cauldron in the center of the room.
"The recipe for the potion SPECIFICALLY calls for Eye of Newt and Wolfsbane. We had literally ALL the ingredients right here!" Exclaims one of the ducklings.
This one was wearing a red and black tunic with a black crown symbol on the center similar to Sora's necklace. The duckling was also wearing a poofy red and black hat with goggles, and wrapped around him is a belt buckle filled with potions of all kinds and colors. It's clear that he knows potions more.
"Yeah, yeah, but we had some leftover Bat Wool, left. Plus, I added a bit of Cherry Powder for that extra…zest. A lil' zest wouldn't kill ya, would it?" The duckling in green retorts. He wore the same clothing as his brother, only green, his symbol is a heart, and he shrouds himself under a green hood & cape
"IT ALMOST DID!" Retorts the alchemist in red.
"Key-word, almost." The rogue in green retorts, smugly. The two other ducklings only looked upon the constant bickering of the other two.
One of the ducklings adorns himself in the same clothing as his brothers, in blue. His symbol is a pitch-black anchor, and atop his head is a beret & plume similar to Donald's hat. Strapped around him is a pouch filled with all sorts of scrolls and musical scores.
The fourth duckling is a girl with a big blue witch's hat. This duckling adorns herself in a pink dress, and white sneakers with purple shoelaces. Around the little Sorceress is a blue mage's coat with a pink bowtie, and in her hands a purple spellbook with golden boarders and a shimmering gold Mickey symbol on the center. The book glows a majestic pink glow.
All of these three ducklings are Disneyland's finest Alchemist, Bard, and Rogue, taught by one of the most powerful mages in Disneyland. Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck.
Along with them is their non-related friend, Webby Vanderquack, Summoner in training, and granddaughter of Castle Caretaker and Secret Agent of S.H.U.S.H; Betina Beakley.
"I uh…I think if the explosion hasn't gotten the attention, your screaming will. JUST saying." Dewey replies as Webby nods in agreement.
"Bro, it's already been 2 minutes, and nobody came. Which means we're in the clear~" Louie says in a lax tone.
Daisy and Scrooge knew these four too well. All Daisy sees are mirror reflections of her own nieces, April, May, and June. While Scrooge sees troublemakers with great potential within them.
"Is that right?" Scrooge asks, smugly. Immediately, the 4 ducks tense up. Slowly, they turned to see an amused Gazillionaire and an amused Grand Scholar.
"Welp…I've been wrong before." Louie simply says.
"Heeeeeeyyy, Uncle Scrooge. Miss Daisy…heheh, how're things? Just know that we were…DEFINITELY not playing with dangerous and highly volatile concoctions we've taken from Donald's tower, hehehe…" Webby waves bashfully.
"COURSE NOT! We were just, uh…um…" Dewey tries to think up an excuse…but it's not quite going well.
"STUDYING!" Luckily, Huey was on the case with the recovery.
"Aye, studyin' is that right? A lil' study session amongst your peers?" Scrooge asks as he and Daisy looked at each other, then to the kids.
"And uh…by chance, does uh…Donald know about your little 'study session?'" Daisy challenges.
…The quartet went silent.
"We MIGHT'VE left out a few details." Dewey says, bashfully.
"Specifically, the whole…y'know…heheh…studying thing." Louie couldn't help but say earning a glare from his three duckling companions. Daisy and Scrooge couldn't help but laugh.
"BAWK!" Clara bawked as she, Goofy, and Max barreled into the library to see quite the mess.
"What happened?" Goofy asks.
"Ask them." Daisy says pointing to the ducklings.
"IT WAS JUST ONE SESSION I WANTED TO TEACH!" Huey blurts out in frustration.
"Ahuhuhuhuhu~ I'm sure you'll be a teacher someday, Huey. Doncha worry! Just like someday, Max'll be the best gosh darn Guardsman ALL of Disneyland's ever seen!" Goofy says as he pulls his son to his side.
"Heheh, uhh…y-yeah, thanks, dad…" Max says in embarrassment.
"Well, I may as well break the ice, while I'm here." Daisy starts as she turns to the ducklings. "Seems like Disneyland's fair King Mickey's gone missing. You four wouldn't happen to see either him or Pluto around, would you?"
Everyone simply mumbled and grumbled, clearly indicating that they don't know what happened to their precious King either. Scrooge only pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration…as he final blurts out…
"OH, CURSE ME KILTS, DAISY! I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KING!" THIS gains everyone's attention.
"Bawk?" Clara clucks.
"You do?" Goofy asks.
"You were with me this whole time, Scrooge! Why didn't you tell me that in the first place?" Daisy asks in annoyance…to which Scrooge looks at HER in annoyance.
"Ya didn't even give me a chance, edgewise…" Scrooge sighs.
"So…what happened to him?" Huey asks.
"WAS OUR KING KIDNAPPED FOR A RANSOME FROM THE BEAGLE BOYS?!" Webby blurts out before she and Dewey zips to Scrooge's face.
"OR MAYBE MAGICA DESPELL?!" Dewey adds.
"Or what if it's the eeeeeeeeevil Phantom Blot?! OR WORSE!" Webby adds until they two blurts out in unison…
"FLINTHEART GLOMGOLD!" Scrooge only rolled his eyes at his daughter and his nephew.
"That money-grubbing, two-timing, charlatan THINKS he could try and nab the King for ransom. No, y'see." Scrooge starts…WHEN SUDDENLY…
"LET ME EXPLAIN!" A new voice exclaims. Scrooge only groans at the constant interruptions.
"CAN AH GET A MOMENT!? JUST ONE! I AIN'T ASKIN' MUCH!" Scrooge exclaims.
Daisy caught wind of a familiar and kooky voice. Fluttering into the study from the window is small female bird with a bright pink bow, long eyelashes and a wind-up key with a tail perched on the window in front of Daisy.
It was Cuckoo Loca. A living Animatronic cuckoo clock bird, created by famous inventor in all of Disneyland, Gyro Gearloose. Perfected even further, at the Queen's behest, by castle inventor and Astrologist, Professor Ludwig Von Drake.
"Cuckoo Loca!" Daisy says as the exhausted bird hopped into Daisy's hands.
"Is that an…animatronic bird?" Max couldn't help but ask.
"You're JUST NOW questioning Disneyland's technology? OURS IS RUN BY THREE SMALL CHIPMUNKS! HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE?! IT STILL BAFFLES ME!" Huey exclaims.
"I'll tell you what's baffling, kid; that Mouse King of yours. He owes me BIG time!" Cuckoo says in annoyance.
"Did ya find him?" Goofy asks.
"BY ALL MEANS, explain to them your findings of the King, why don't ya? Not like y'know I KNOW what's goin' on…" Scrooge mumbles.
"Well, I searched EVERY inch of this doggone world! Every attraction, every ride, EVERYWHERE! He ain't there!" The animatronic bird huffs. Daisy, Goofy, and Clara lowers their heads in disappointment.
"You don't think he's gone to places like Epcot, right?" Dewey asks.
"Beats me, we never really had Projector Screens going there." Louie replies.
"Hey, Those Silly Symphonies are a pain to go through! Peculiar Penguins was just too cold, and I barely got outta there with my crank tail between my legs! AH-CHOO!" Cuckoo says giving out a hearty sneeze. Daisy couldn't help but look at her enduring friend in sadness.
"Oh, Cuckoo…I'm sorry you had to go through that…" Daisy says apologetically.
"Nah, it's no big deal. Ya wanna know why?" Cuckoo assures as she smiles giddily. Everyone tilted their heads in confusion at the canary construct.
"Why/Bawk?" Max and Clara asks.
"Well, while I was flying through Tomorrowland, I thought that…hey, why what if he's just not here? So, with a bit of memory, I was able to check the Gummi Hanger, JUST underneath Space Mountain!" Cuckoo Loca explains. Everyone in here knows of the secret hanger.
"Where the Gummi Ships are stored, right?" Daisy asks.
"Yeah, and get this. Two of 'em gone! Mickey AND Della's!" Daisy and Goofy's eyes widened.
"Aww c'mooooooon, mom's gone AGAIN!?" Dewey complains.
"This time, she went on her own accord. She wanted to figure out what's goin' on with the stars, too. She…also mentions that this might give her the chance to find some of her…missing friends." Scrooge explains.
"Missing friends?" Max asks.
"Can't you go after her? I mean…don't YOU own a Gummi Ship?" Dewey whispers to Scrooge.
"He's the richest duck in all of Disneyland. Why WOULDN'T he?" Louie retorts.
"Ah had a bit of connections with the townspeople from which the Gummi Material was first produced. Gratitude for all I've done for them back in my days in S.H.U.S.H." Scrooge whispers as Cuckoo Loca continues.
"Nonetheless, Dew, looks to me that Della WANTED to travel to space this time." Webby says as the Duck Bard only lowered his head, sadly.
"Kinda wish she'd at least tell us…" Dewey says.
"If our literal KING wouldn't tell us why he left, then I'm guessing mom had a good reason, too." Louie says, casually.
"If that's not enough evidence, I also overheard from Horace and Mrs. Beakley that a whole buncha Star Shards were taken from the Castle Vault. NO ONE except Mickey knows how to use 'em! IN CONCLUSION…" Loca explains as all the pieces were in place.
"Mickey's not even here. As in…not even in the world." Daisy concludes.
"All the pieces are linin' up, doncha think?" Cuckoo asks.
"Baaaawk, bawk bawk?" Clara clucks.
"Gawrsh, Scrooge…was that what you were tryin' to tell us?" Goofy asks as Scrooge only gives a heavy sigh.
"Would've been more preferable if I explained it, but…yes, that's the gist of it. However, we already cracked the case as to why Della casted off…but WHY did our gracious King cast off?" Scrooge explains.
"Do YOU have the reason?" Huey asks.
"Ah don't….but he does." Scrooge says as he took off his top hat and gave it a gentle pat. Hopping out is a tiny cricket. A cricket adorned in a suit, spats, and a blue top hat atop his head.
"It's true! I can tell you EXACTLY what's going on!" The cricket says to the group.
"A cricket?" Goofy asks.
"A chronicler. Cricket's the name! Jiminy Cricket, at your service!" The cricket says as he bows to the group.
"Y'see lads and lasses, S.H.U.S.H was the first to relay the message of what's going on to King Mickey." Scrooge explains.
"To which before his departure, the King asks of me to write a letter, which needs to be heard by ALL the members of Disney Castle!" Jiminy explains.
"Can you at least give the run down on what's going on?" Huey asks.
"Or better yet, how bad the situation is if both Mickey AND Della needed to go?" Daisy asks. Scrooge and Jiminy looked back at each other…with such sullen looks on their faces.
"Well, the short explanation…the worlds are dying." Scrooge says in a dangerous tone.
