Nico
Gods, why had he done that. Nico had just opened up to Percy and shared something that only Hazel and Will knew. Now Percy probably thought that he was a stupid idiot who couldn't even keep a boyfriend... Not that he cared what Percy thought. Nico had decided to skip lunch. I had breakfast this morning, he thought, it should be fine. Of course, those are the words a demigod should never think or say, because next thing he knew, he couldn't see his hand. Crap, I probably should've eaten, he thought.
"Or just stuck to the doctor's orders of no more shadow travel", said a voice behind him.
Nico spun around to find Will Solace giving him an evil grin
"What the heck?" Nico said, " What are you doing here? "
"Oh, I'm getting back at you." Will replied
"For what?"
"You know what. You let Octavian launch himself with that onager. "
"Th-that wasn't my fault! "
"We both know it was" , Will said, "Come on, we're going to the lake. "
Will grabbed Nico by the arm and started dragging him down to the water.
"L-let go!" Nico reached for his Stygian Iron sword , but then realized that he was still dissolving into darkness and he couldn't touch anything.
"Right, now are we going to do this the easy way or the hard way?" Will asked.
Nico didn't reply. Instead, he concentrated on the ground, attempting to summon the dead... Nothing happened. "Poor Nico" , Will laughed, "I doubt you'll even have enough strength to stay afloat in the lake once I throw you in."
"That's murder!"
"Only if they find out it was me."
"You don't want to do this Will! They'll find out it was you!"
"You murdered Octavian, who was my brother, even if he was a homicidal maniac. Now you must pay for that."
"No! You can't do this!" Nico said.
"Oh, I really think I can" , Will said, "In you go now, in three, two, one!"
Will pushed Nico into the lake, and the water erupted.
