When I, Lucy, and Cleo entered the police station and into the parking lot, we were immediately attacked by the members of the Moresby Mutilators, them attacking a little kid! Another one! And after they shot Lucy about three times, she exploded... and took us with her... for all of ten seconds, before all three of our bodies reformed back to normal... but Lucy turned into a normal, regular green zombie girl! No more boils at all! And this made the trio of people look at us in fear, four if you included the little girl.
"Wanna pay for not only attacking a little girl but shooting another?! Come here, right now," I said, the one shooting a bullet at my head, and me getting blinded from the fact that my head was blown up completely!... And as before, it reformed back to normal after. At this point, Lucy and Cleo rushed in and attacked the three bad guys with melee weapons. Lucy used a nail hammer while Cleo attacked with a katana! And after they finished taking out the thugs, the little girl that we rescued ran for the wall and looked scared for her life.
"S-Stay away! I don't want to die!" she said with fear, me sighing at that.
"Easy, we don't want to hurt you... they already did that to you enough," I said, seeing that they managed to reveal her underwear and she had a lot of bruises on her.
"Y-Yeah... t-they were gonna... do something... they said they wanted to make me a woman... but I don't want to be a grown up if it hurts that much!" she said, Lucy sighing at her.
"That is not what they wanted to do. They wanted to rape you... they tried to do the same to me... then miss Grace came and saved me," she smirked.
"Then why were you coated in all that gross stuff before?" the girl asked.
"Because my particular zombie bite gives people regeneration, green skin, and certain mutations if I bite those that haven't been bitten by the other zombies that aren't green," I said, her sighing at that.
"I got bit... about half an hour ago..." she admitted, her then showing a bite mark on her hand that was fresh, and still bleeding. "They were going to kill me when they finished..." she said, me sighing as I then went to her, which made her tense up.
"How would you like to get some revenge? We can help you take these guys out, but I need to ask if you want to be green," I said, her looking at Cleo and Lucy before sighing.
"If something bad happens to me when you bite me, I want you to take me out," she said, me sighing at that.
"Very well," I said as she then gave me her other hand and I only bit hard enough to break the skin, just to make it less painful. She still winced and teared up at it, but then, after the bite, she turned into a normal green zombie after! And she looked shocked at how her wounds all healed.
"Whoa! That stuff has a kick to it! I don't feel pain at all now! I'm healed!" she smirked widely as she then jumped off the ground and then looked at the group on the ground next to us. "What do we do with them?" she asked.
"We need to burn them, and I know how to do so," I said as I then took the clothes on their bodies, dipped them with a bit of gas from a nearby car, and burned them! And afterwards, I then walked into the building with the others, us going through and killing everyone in our wake. But during this process, we rescued at least 5 other people in the process, including one of the workers of the police station who had been placed in a cage!
"We need to burn this place when we're done. They knocked out the sprinkler system because they loved to smoke, so we should burn this whole building to the ground when they're all dead," the guy said, his named being Officer Patrick.
"Understood. But would you like the same green stuff the others have?" I asked, him shaking his head to that.
"I'd rather not do that. Especially since this place is linked to the prison island. If they saw that I was zombified, they'd send in the cavalry immediately. I need to stay alive and bring a camera with me," he said.
"In the meantime, you should go to the church of Moresby. That's our main base for the survivors in this city. And if you talk to anyone that's from that island, don't tell them a thing or show them any of the green zombies. Agreed?"
"100 percent. I'll go now so I don't have to deal with getting put on fire," he said, me then speaking one more thing.
"Leave through the front door, the garage is partly on fire right now," I said.
"Gotcha," he frowned as I then looked at Cleo with a frown. "You go with him, okay? Make sure he doesn't get bit," I said.
"You can count on me. Lucy, show these bastards not to mess with you," she said.
"Yes, ma'am!" Lucy said with a frown as we then destroyed the rest of the Mutilators, all the way to the final bastard, who was in the PA room at the main office. And when he saw all the devastation that we did to all the other members of his gang, he then spoke to us.
"DAMMIT! Freeze!" He shouted as he revealed that he had a hostage in the form of a woman that I was shocked to see! It was the head nurse of the hospital! Doctor Linda! "You take one more step towards me, and she's toast!" he shouted, me frowning at that.
"Don't listen to him! He'll kill me regardless!" Linda shouted, me frowning at this and then deciding to try something. I yanked my head off of my body and, before it could reattach, I threw it through the window, shattered it, and forced my head to bite Linda on the arm! And shortly after I did that, the bastard then tried to shoot at my head, only to be shocked at how my head was then grabbed by the tendrils that came out of my neck and magically reattached! And by the time he shot Linda in the head, it was already too late, and she'd turned into a big and burly zombie that was along the lines of Rolo, giant upper body, giant feet! She then proceeded to slam her arm into the true monster, and he was sent right into the wall and exploded into ten pieces!
"Linda, are you okay?!" I asked, her looking at me with a frown.
"Grace... I told you to run. Why are you fighting?" she asked, me sighing at that as she opened the door.
"I'm fighting because I need to save everyone. When I got bit while I ran away, I turned into this, a sentient zombie that can turn others, even the infected into sentient zombies! The only downside is that if I bite an uninfected person, they have a high chance of becoming a mutated version of the other infected," I said, her sighing.
"Is that why I now have the pecs of Atlas and the feet of a clown?" she asked.
"Yeah, but it's better than what I got. I got explosive boils for one use, and then never again," Lucy pouted.
"Um... then why are you normal now? Shouldn't you be dead?"
"That's perk number two of being a green zombie, and why we are burning all the assholes in this place and the station itself. Those with my strain can regenerate from any damage and feel no pain," I smirked.
"Whoa, crazy. Let's go, then... I'll help out with the burning," she said as she then took a lighter and proceeded to put it on a stack of papers and then placing it on the carpet, which started to spread very fast. "We need to go," she frowned as we then went through the complex the whole way down, us leaving through the front entrance and then going back on the way to the church, us biting more infected on the way and eventually getting there to find another person that we hadn't seen prior, and my allies there as well.
"So, I hear you've been looking for me, haven't you?" the man said, me now knowing it had to be Sergei. I nodded at him saying this. "Well, sorry to say, I don't really want to help get you to the prison island. Especially since they'd see you and try to kill you on sight if they knew you were sentient and an infected," he said, me then frowning at that before Lucy then spoke.
"Hey, I have an idea about that! Maybe she should act like a tamed zombie!" she smirked.
"Go on, I'm listening," I smiled, being intrigued by that statement.
"So long as everyone acts the same way, you can pretend that you've tamed her to be an obedient partner to not harm anyone else! Maybe claim that she ate your hair or blood or something, and then she listens to one of you like a dog would! All you'd have to do, miss Grace, is act like the other zombies. All dead in the eyes and no talking," she spoke. After a bit of a pause, the one to speak was Purna.
"That actually sounds like an idea so crazy, it just might work! We can even try to fool the scientists at the labs with that story, so she can listen in to whatever they say as a spy," Purna smirked.
"Huh, it does sound genius! Maybe, if those scientists happen to speak to the ones responsible while you're with them, we could get some extra knowledge as to who is the one responsible!" Logan smirked widely.
"Only one problem, though, where is this jungle lab at?" Xian asked.
"Magumbe knows, but we need to find him, first. The easiest way to reach the jungle is to go to one of the World War II bunkers that overlook the resort and going through the underground tunnels. I can lead you there, but when we reach that damn lab, you need to act as dumb as possible so they can get fooled. If they so much as see you laugh or anything, we're all dead," he said, me then smirking at that.
"I have an idea for that," I said as I then went to Rolo, who was currently praying at the altar. And he noticed me and quickly finished his prayer.
"Hi, Grace... do you want to know more about what happened?" he asked, me sighing at that.
"Only if you want to," I said, him nodding.
"I do, because I know what's going on... I saw everything as they experimented on me and dozens of others," he said as he then described it. "We were captured in the jungle by GeoPharm labs, who conducted horrible experiments on us using the Kuru virus... but this particular strain was messed with by them using some weird kind of mutagen. This mutagen is what makes this strain so horrid. But then, when they finished using the virus and the mutagen on us, they then forced us onto armored trucks and dropped us off like a payload outside of the cities. They bombed the highway not to prevent the spread, but to keep people trapped all over the place! Everyone in the capital can fuck themselves, though, because I heard that they were on Geopharm's side, the rich assholes. And the ones that hired GeoPharm Labs? They were hired by the Consortium and the PGU, Palm Garden Order. Ring any bells?" he asked, that making Xian gasp.
"GeoPharm is owned by the Palm Garden Order and the Consortium?! They're only the worst ecological terrorists in the world, with the Consortium also being involved with secret government meddling! It's because of them that North Korea and even China are absolutely horrible! I even heard they're trying to get Russia on their side!" Xian gawked.
"Yet you're with the Chinese interpol?" I asked.
"I never said I was proud of it!" she shouted at me.
"Okay, yeesh, sorry!" I said, her sighing at that. "Now we know we need to be careful... but we also know we need to get some extra firepower... and by firepower, I mean we need evidence. Cold, hard evidence. Anyone here have any cameras? Maybe hidden ones?" I asked, the group then looking around before I got the answer from Mother Helen.
"We Have At Least Three Of Them In This Place. One In The Office, One Outside In The Courtyard, And One By The Altar. I'll Give Them To You, So Long As They Are Used To Destroy Those Organizations," she said, me nodding. We then proceeded to grab them and saw that they were very small cameras, able to be hidden even on a piece of jewelry! And able to then upload to nearby cell phones! I immediately grabbed the one and hooked it up to a broach and placed it on my chest, then getting another and placing it on Xian's necklace, and the final went onto one of the buttons on Jin's overalls. But to complete the dumb zombie look and prevent myself from laughing or shouting, I grabbed the mask that Rolo had on when he was turned, me seeing it completely halted all actions from the mouth in the process! I then got it and placed it on my head, but didn't strap it. I'd wait a bit until then.
"I promise that we'll used them and upload every bit of them to every single person's computer in the world," I said, that making Xian confused.
"How do you do that?" she asked me.
"I know how to use the internet more than anyone on this island. I can send a single video through the internet. The only downside is that we need to make sure that we upload it when we reach Palanai," I said.
"Palanai? Why would we go there?" Sam B asked.
"You seriously think that they're going to stop with this island? There are four in this archipelago and Palanai is the largest. No doubt that they're doing the same shit there as they are here," I said.
"I can assure you that you're right," Rolo frowned. "In fact, they've been enduring it for three days now. This place was phase two, Palanai was phase one," he frowned.
"Dammit..." I growled, knowing that I needed to go there now. Specially to save someone very close to me. Harlow... if she was still alive there, I needed to save her! "I will save them," I frowned as we then got up again.
"Okay, now to head to the bunker," I said.
"We'll need some boom sticks before we head there. I have a secret stash hidden at my personal bungalow on the island. I'm coming with you so we can get the boom sticks and try to save some more people," Sergei said. "Oh, and no, I am not wanting to get bit. I don't want to risk it," he said, me nodding.
"Good point. One zombie is all we'll need to get the info, and I don't want to risk anyone else getting hurt by those bastards," I said as we then finally left and, using the armored car, we proceeded to drive back from Moresby to the resort so we could find out how to get into the jungle without risking Jin or Sergei getting bitten by the infected.
