Hector is an adult. Christine is an adult. They live in an apartment that Hector got. Hector goes to college and works. A few weeks ago, Hector's friends Cooldex and Travis were talking with him about snowboarding and surviving frostbite. Cooldex was working in a lab and was investigating Propylene Glycol liquid to prevent frostbite by lowering the freezing point of blood in his latest scientific work. Cooldex was also talking about an experimental drug called DN-27, which would raise body temperature. But since it was experimental, the body might overheat. Cooldex and Travis and Hector were talking about getting the antifreeze tick gene modification to further lower the freezing point of blood, preventing frostbite. It's called freezing point depression. Cooldex and Travis got the antifreeze tick gene (even though they usually don't get gene edits, they thought it was too cool to have blood that doesn't freeze until lower temperatures) , and were carrying Propylene Glycol and DN-27 to get ready for the snowboarding trip, but Hector was only carrying Propylene glycol. They were snowboarding for a few hours. Cooldex said, "This is fun!". Then they went to a snowboarding zone and Travis asked, "Which one are you snowboarding down? Powder puff or big powder puff?". Cooldex was carrying a thermometer. Hector said, "I don't know which one sounds lamer! I'm going down this area of fresh snow. A sign said, "Danger! Do not enter!". Maria Amino (white blood cell) got the experimental formula that turns whoever Hector eats into white blood cells and the antidote. Maria Amino threw the experimental formula into Hector's stomach and then Hector ate Cooldex. Cooldex started shrinking and turning into a white blood cell. The Propylene Glycol and DN-27 turned tiny and then the temperature in Cooldex's thermometer real 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. There was a sign with the temperature I'm Hector's body that said 98.6. Hector started snowboarding on the dangerous zone and tripped on a fallen tree while going down the snow path. Hector hurt his leg. Then there was an avalanche and Hector managed to get out of there, but was lost. Inside Hector's body, it said 96.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Then Cooldex called Maria Amino on the Cellphone. Maria Amino was in trouble in Hector's feet. Cooldex headed towards the feet and found Maria Amino (white blood cell) shivering. Then someone showed up. She said "I am Cryo" (cryo means cold, freezing). Maria Amino said, "Help! I'm freezing!". Cooldex was feeling cold too, but took DN-27 and warmed up and held Maria Amino in his arms for a few minutes. Maria Amino said, "Thanks, Cooldex!". Then they kissed. Then Maria Amino went looking for Cryo and Cryo shot Maria Amino with a blast of cold and she shot the cold blast with a heat blast from the gun blaster. The cold was too strong. She started freezing. Cooldex drank half the Propylene Glycol and gave half to Maria Amino. She drank it and stopped freezing solid because the freezing point of the liquid inside her was now lower like 14 degrees Fahrenheit instead of 31 degrees Fahrenheit. She started shivering again. Cooldex said, "We got to make Hector drink Propylene Glycol! Maria Amino said, "We also got to get Hector to safety". Meanwhile, Hector was crawling around in the snow saying, "Help!". "Looks like Cryo is going to freeze Hector to death", said Cooldex. "We got to get to the controls", said Maria Amino. They went to the controls and Cooldex hooked himself up to the controls. Then Cooldex made Hector drink Propylene Glycol and the cells didn't get frostbite. The freezing point of his blood dropped from 31 degrees Fahrenheit to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. His body temperature was 94.1 and Hector was starting to get hypothermia. Maria Amino looked for the controls to his voice and pressed a button and Hector burped loudly. The blood cells were circulating much more slowly than usual. They rescued Hector. Since Hector drank Propylene Glycol, there was no frostbite in his hands or feet. Hector's body fell to 92.3 degrees Fahrenheit. Hector was shivering to warm up, but now, he was not responding. Ozzy (white blood cell) and Drix (cold pill) used their motorcycle to hook it up to a nerve in the spine. Then they were giving it juice. It was not enough. Hector shivered and Hector's body went to 92.7 degrees Fahrenheit.
