To Dream Once-more
Summery: It truly has been an eternity for these two. A trial for a lone Scabbard searching for his Saber. In the end their dream will end. So what's wrong about giving these love sick children a reward? This is a new life to spend together before returning to the fields of Avalon, they'll make the most of it.
The Path of a Fool
There once was fool
With a wish born form ash,
A will made of Steel and Heart of Glass,
This is his eternal path,
To reach a Utopia far beyond his grasps,
A path that would lead him a life full of pain and ash,
This is the fool's eternal path,
Holding onto that foolish dream,
A fool's ideal,
Unaware of Loss,
Nor aware of Gain
Moving forwards for eternity,
While she waited for his arrival,
He holds no regrets,
As this is his eternal path,
As his body is made up of Unlimited Blades.

Everything was suddenly bright. Feeling what seemed to be blades of grass flowing against his still body. Yet even with the sudden change in setting the red head's only thought was...
Had he finally reached her? A thought from the farthest parts of his mind, resurfaced once more. Softly opening his tired eyes coming to view with a bright shimmering sky.
"This is difficult. Your times are so far apart that the distance makes people despair."
The memory of a mage in white's voice rang in his mind.
Not moving a muscle the red head only questions himself.
How much time has passed? 1 thousand? 10? How far did he travel?
Placing his palm upon his forehead pondering his circumstances and life.
"If you want to meet again as normal people, two miracles must occur..."
He had been on this journey for so... long... desperately clinging onto that hope.
Having already achieved his dream he a sough since childhood eons ago, leaving one other dream he desired to achieve.
To find her. To return to her. To feel her embracing touch. To see her smile once more.
Through out his search, up holding that tittle, he withstood countless pain and hardships pressing onwards to the next.
"One must wait continuously; one must pursue endlessly."
Everything seemed to go by so quickly, as years became centuries and those centuries became eons. He had seen rise and fall of civilisation countless times.
As time flew by, each and every memory would continue to pile on, barring the old into blurs. At some point he wondered off, moving without direction, becoming an eternal wonderer, but some how he eventually managed steered back to the path.
Though even with the mess that was his mind, there were a handful of memories that were stood strong. Especially one in particular.
「The shine of the rising sun glimmered on that final day, luminating the street in the ruins of his hometown, they stood together.」
A moment engraved onto his soul.
【Avalon】
「 That ever distant utopia the both of them saw. 」
Making his way out of the forest, viewing the the great plain that stood in front of him.
Blades of grass with the complexion of gold flowed across the horizon, with trees scattered across. The field was clear and broad, as wind blew across the land which caused Shirou's still tensed body to relax.
Shirou stared at the sky, reminiscing of an unstated promise that was made that day.
「Golden hair flowed along that blue dress, with eyes of shining emerald stared gently into his golden eyes.
A moment that to them would last forever.
That day was their final moment together, as their time was fleeting, only a few words were shared.」
"Shirou.. I... Love you..."
Once absorbing the view, the wave of nostalgia calmed his mind.
The heavy burden that once laid upon his shoulders or centuries was finally laid to rest, clicking the shackles that once bound him.
His long journey ends here.

Somewhere else laid a girl with golden blond hair, in a pure white dress rose from her nap. Staring at the bright sky
How many prayers has she done under this sky? How much more time is needed? Is he still going? Will she ever see him again?
Harbouring a single wish, a insignificant hope, was all that drive her for all this time, to see her beloved once more.
Like every day, she left her resting spot to wonder across the lively fields, possibly daydreaming the moment he would arrive.
A cool and gentle breeze glided across her skin, causing both her dress and hair to follow its direction. It only took a simple action to clear her view, but then she noticed something red in the distance.
Could it be? Or was it her mind playing tricks, blurring her fanaticises with reality.
While she pondered the possibilities, her body moved on its own, slowly closing the distance.
Once the 'red spot' became more clearer, she stopped thinking and began to move faster.
It seemed that said spot also noticed her as well.
It was as a matter of time until their steps through the golden grass turned to a full sprint, stopping once both were in arms reach of the other.
And just like that day..
"I'm home..." the red head exhaled, "Saber."
Only three words were shared.
"Welcome home," she replied. "Shirou."
The gap of time and space finally closed. Sword and scabbard were reunited. Together at last. A wish filled.
The end of the dream.
Though what comes after?
Eotic pink flowers began to bloom plentifully around the the two, releasing countless sparkling spores.
Brain Dump
This was an idea I had for a while that could be the premise for Fate/Stay Night crossover fanfics that revolve around, Fate route, Shirou and Arturia. As I have been reading a lot of Fate fanfics for a while now.
Most crossovers with Fate!Shirou I had seen mostly go on as part of Shirou's journey of eternity, and as a person who enjoys Shirou x Saber, I want to give them a vacation/honeymoon outside of Avalon, living a new life.
Once Shirou and Saber reunite in Avalon Merlin sends them out to [Insert some random world here].
Why would Merlin do this? Why shouldn't a teacher want his student to be happy, he might have been the one who told Shirou how to get into Avalon. There is also the entertainment factor of seeing the couple's antics in these worlds.
To clarify this is Avalon Fate!Shirou. Dude literally searched for an actual eternity, dude's going to be busted, probably using that time to get other minimal skills like protecting his body's efficiency, or try other forms of magecraft to under stand the other types better (doesn't have to be good at it just under stand the craft in theory).
I think that this type of premise could mostly work like slice-of-life, or Shirou and Arturia becoming mentor to main cast members or the mc for what ever universe they end up in. For example, danmachi, the two will fucking steam roll the One Eye Black Dragon, so the best alternative would be Shirou and Arturia joining a familia or work at Hostess, it's very likely that they will be training Bell (which Bell's time as level 1 will greatly be shortened); For RWBY, Shirou definitely has a weapon that could kill someone like Salem, so they would just be sidelined to a couple running a dinner (occasionally they will hunt grim); BnHA, either both or just Shiroubecomes a vigilante and it is likely that they would run a dinner and possibly an orphanage.
Anyone is allowed to use the premises if they want, I just want this idea of giving Shirou and Arturia a break/vacation/honeymoon would be fun.
