Hinata's eyes widened as Naruto spoke. "Naruto, I-" she began, but he interrupted her by letting go of her arm. "I know you're already in a relationship. I just had to tell you how I feel," he said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

Hinata felt a pang of guilt in her chest, knowing that she was technically married to Sasuke but was keeping it a secret. She took a deep breath and spoke up. "Naruto, I appreciate your feelings for me," she said, avoiding eye contact.

Naruto's expression fell, but he nodded understandingly. "I'm sorry, Hinata. I didn't mean to make things awkward between us," he said, trying to hide his disappointment.

Hinata smiled sympathetically. "It's okay, Naruto. I'm glad you told me how you feel. I just hope we can still be friends," she said, reaching out to hug him.

Naruto hugged her back, feeling a mixture of emotions. He was happy for her that she had someone, but he couldn't help feeling a little sad that it wasn't him.

Sakura let out a frustrated groan as she slumped down in her seat next to Ino. "I just got rejected again," she complained. Ino glanced up from her phone briefly to respond, "I told you, he's not the type to cheat."

Sakura let out another sigh and rested her head on the table. Without looking up from her phone, Ino consoled her friend by patting her on the back. "I think you should give up on him. Sure, he's a hot teacher and it's okay to have a crush on him and maybe flirt a little, but he's already said that he's married and we should respect that," Ino advised.

Sakura lifted her head to respond with a pout. "But he's so hot!" she whined.

Ino finally looked up from her phone and fixed Sakura with a stern gaze. "I get it, he's hot," she said, "but you have to stop this." Sakura groaned and rested her head back on the table, her eyes fixated on the wooden surface in front of her. "Maybe after we graduate," she whispered, her voice barely audible. Ino rolled her eyes and let out an exasperated sigh. "You're hopeless, Sakura," she said, shaking her head in disbelief.

Sakura sat up and glared at Ino. "I am not hopeless! I just...really like him," she protested, crossing her arms defensively. Ino gave her a sympathetic look. "I know, Sakura, but you have to face the reality of the situation. He's married and you're his student. It's never going to happen." Sakura slumped in her seat, feeling defeated. "I know," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's just hard to let go." Ino reached and patted her friend's hand. "I know it is, but you're strong. You'll get through this."

Kakashi settled into his seat next to Sasuke and couldn't help but notice the screen of Sasuke's phone, which had the message "Nata 3" at the top. He raised an eyebrow and turned to his colleague. "Is your wife's name Nata?" he asked casually.

Sasuke's eyes widened, and he quickly shoved his phone back into his pocket. "It's just a nickname for her," he replied, a hint of embarrassment in his voice. Kakashi hummed as he pulled out his sandwich from his bento box..

Kakashi took a bite of his sandwich and looked at Sasuke with a mischievous grin. "You know, Sasuke, it's not fair that you get to have a cute nickname for your wife and I don't even have a girlfriend," he said, winking at Sasuke.

Sasuke rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Maybe if you spent less time reading those romance novels and more time socializing, you'd have better luck," he said, taking out his own lunch from his bag.

Kakashi laughed and shrugged. "Hey, I like my romance novels. They give me hope," he said, taking another bite of his sandwich. Sasuke just shook his head and went back to his phone, smiling at the text from his wife.

Kakashi noticed the smile on Sasuke's face and raised an eyebrow. "What's got you grinning like a fool?" he asked.

Sasuke looked up, still smiling. "It's nothing, just a text from my wife," he replied.

Kakashi nudged Sasuke with his elbow. "Come on, don't be shy. Share it with me," he said, wiggling his eyebrows.

Sasuke chuckled and handed Kakashi his phone. Kakashi read the message and grinned. "Aww, that's sweet. You two are so sappy," he teased.

Sasuke rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, well, we love each other," he said, taking his phone back and putting it away.

Kakashi nodded in understanding. "I hope I can find someone to be sappy with someday," he said wistfully.

Sasuke patted Kakashi on the back. "Don't worry, you will. Just keep reading those romance novels," he said with a smirk.

Kakashi laughed. "Hey, those novels have taught me a thing or two about love and relationships," he said, taking a bite of his sandwich.

Sasuke smirked. "Sure they have, Kakashi," he said, shaking his head. Kakashi shrugged nonchalantly. "What can I say, they're a guilty pleasure of mine." He took another bite of his sandwich before continuing. "But in all seriousness, how's married life treating you, Sasuke? Any tips for us single folks?"

Sasuke leaned back in his chair, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "It's great, Kakashi. The key is communication and trust," he said, his tone serious. "And finding someone who compliments you in every way possible." Kakashi nodded thoughtfully. "I'll keep that in mind," he said before taking another bite of his sandwich. Just then, Karen, the physics teacher, walked into the break room. She spotted Sasuke and made a beeline towards him. "Oh, Mr. Uchiha! There you are," she said, a bit too excitedly.

Sasuke's smile disappeared at the sight of Karen. He knew that she had a major crush on him, and it made him really uncomfortable. "Ms. Uzumaki," he said, trying to keep his tone neutral.

Karen ignored the lack of enthusiasm in Sasuke's voice and continued, "I was just thinking about you and how much I enjoyed your lecture on the French Revolution last week. You really have a way of making history come alive."

Sasuke nodded politely, but inwardly he was cringing. He knew that Karen watched in from the door when he's teaching. Meanwhile, Kakashi watched the exchange with amusement, silently enjoying the show.

As Karen continued to gush about Sasuke's teaching, Kakashi couldn't resist adding his own comment. "Yes, Sasuke here is quite the history buff. He even spends his free time reading historical fiction novels," Kakashi said with a smirk.

Sasuke shot Kakashi a glare, knowing that he was just teasing him. But Karen seemed to take the comment as a sign to get even closer to Sasuke. "Oh, really? I love historical fiction too," she said, edging even closer to him.

Sasuke subtly scooted away, hoping to create some distance between himself and Karen. He was relieved when the bell rang, signaling the end of their break. "Well, it's time to get back to teaching," he said, standing up and gathering his things.

As Sasuke walked out of the breakroom, he heard Karen calling out to him. "Mr. Uchiha, wait up!" she yelled, her voice echoing down the hallway. He sped up, hoping that she would give up and go back to the breakroom. But before he could turn around the corner, he felt a sharp bump on his back, causing him to stumble forward.

To his horror, he realized that she had carelessly collided with him as she was running towards him. He stumbled forward, trying to regain his balance, but it was too late. He instinctively reached out to grab onto something, anything, to break his fall. Unfortunately, that "something" turned out to be Hinata, who happened to be turning around the corner at the same time. The collision sent them both tumbling to the ground, and as fate would have it, they ended up in a compromising position. Sasuke's heart was pounding in his chest as he stared down at Hinata, their lips connected in a sudden and unexpected kiss.
