Later that night, Diana was covered in a towel while Mataro served her some tea. She takes a sip and likes her tea hot. Though she still doesn't like Mataro with her head turned away. Mataro feels sad. Flynn and Rapunzel noticed Diana suddenly feel worried about herself.
Rapunzel: Crying for a human huh?
Flynn Rider: Does your bloodline ever be loyal enough or what?
Rapunzel: Well…
Flynn Rider: I was talking to our new witch here.
Rapunzel: Oh… her?
Diana: Huh?
Flynn Rider: The witches are talking about you, kid. Mataro saved your life. You should be lucky he picked you out as our best witch since Amity.
Diana: Hmph. I am nobody's witch. (drinks her tea) And it was an accident. How was I supposed to know the ice was unstable to break?!
Rapunzel: But you were crying.
Diana: As if. I wasn't crying. It's just… the wind that's hurting my eyes.
Flynn Rider: You were definitely crying.
Diana: No. I wasn't.
Flynn Rider: Oh, face it, kid. When I joined this service, I got the mail right on time while you girls handled some of our work for us. Not once. I believed it. But never have I believed a young selfish witch would save a human life's after what you pulled off. In fact Mataro believes what witches can do from doing some feats like that.
Diana: How come?
Flynn Rider: He's basically into those witch magic mumbo jumbo when witches… are like you age.
Diana: Huh?
Flynn Rider: Witches like yourself are beautiful and young and believe whatever they have in store, they have to go deep into their guts and let all of that crazy witch magic to make the world a magical place. Those people these days…
Rapunzel: They just don't get the concept of that. Like the Krums and Ellingboes.
Diana: Krums and Ellingboes?
Flynn Rider: Brunette, those clans are nothing but witch trouble. They think that witches are the cause of their little war back in Smeerenburg by some huge avalanche. They made a truce to vanish every last witch in the world.
Rapunzel: (chuckles) Relax, Flynn. They're not gonna let them bother her nor the others.
Flynn Rider: I doubt that. As soon as they find her or the other witches, we'll be jobless like the back of my hands.
Rapunzel: (giggles; to Diana) Don't you worry, Diana. (gets up) They don't bother you or anyone. (walks away)
Flynn was about to say something, but he was like "screw it" as he gets up and walks away. Diana starts to worry a little about the clans out there. Looking at her reflection from her tea, she starts to see her mother from her reflection. Diana gasped and tossed it away.
Diana: That's it! This place is the worst! I'm going home! (to herself) No! You can't leave, remember? You're far from home, stuck with a few crazy people, and even save a little disgusting brat! But I hate it here! It's so cold and icky! And the people are mean to me. And I miss my silk sheets. (slaps herself) Shut up! Stop being weak! Focus! How do you get out of here? You need... You need…
Soon, she noticed a rabbid trying to use a Luna Nova wand. Diana's eyes widened in shock then suddenly turned furious.
Diana: Rabbids.
Soon, a rabbid noticed her then waves at her in bwahise. It covered its mouth then it was trying to say something.
Diana: Get back here!
She runs after it down the snowy landscape. The rabbid runs off with the wand as Diana chases it to the witches. The rabbid tries to wake up Lotte and Sucy, but as they get up, they are shocked to see the rabbid. The rabbid was trying to see something but it ran away when Diana almost pounced him.
Diana: (upset) You freaks are the cause of this!
As she runs off…
Lotte: Freaks?
Sucy: Must be a witch thing.
Amanda: (wakes up; yawns) What's with the Bwahing? (as the other witches wake up) I was having an awesome sexy dream.
Lotte: It's Diana.
Amanda: Huh?
Luz: Hey, where's Akko?
Lotte gasped in realization.
Lotte: (groans) Not again. Diana, wait!
The witches come out of the snow and follow Diana as she soon catches up to the rabbid and grabs him, pinning it on the ground.
Diana: Gotcha! (she starts to strangle it) This is for messing with my hat!
Lotte: (offscreen) Diana! Stop!
Diana: Huh?
Lotte and the others catch up.
Lotte: (pants) That… is not… a rabbid.
Diana: Huh?
Soon, the rabbid poofs to Akko, who couldn't breathe by Diana's hands grabbing her around her neck. Mataro comes in and is shocked to find her.
Mataro: Diana! Akko!
Diana: Akko? (sees herself strangling Akko and lets go) Wha!
She backs away as Akko catches some air. Akko coughs.
Akko: It's still there. (still coughs; groans) What is your deal?! Can't you hear me for one sec!
Diana: Well… uh… I mean…
Mataro: Akko! (hugs Akko in worry) I've been looking for you! I need you for… (whispers to her ears)
Akko: (groans in disgust) Again? (he nodded) Fine. (to Diana) As for you, are you insane?! I was busy trying to work out my spells when you suddenly hurt me like a wild dog!
Diana: I didn't know it was you! I thought it was…
Akko: About what? Hurting your own kind?! No wonder why you hate humans so much! You're a selfish bully! Honestly, you can't even let a witch practice her own magic in peace.
Diana: You never told me that!
Akko: Well, maybe you should be a better person, you… you… hag!
Diana and the witches gasped. It's a bad word for witches. Like the F-word.
Mataro: (stomach growls) Akko…
Akko: Huh? Oh, sorry, Mataro. (picks him up and carries him away) Come on. (mutters in anger) Stupid Cavendish… thinking she's so popular...can't treat both kinds with respect.
Mataro feels worried about Diana. On Diana in her worried look, she looks at her hands shaking in fear from what she has done. She wants to be a witch, but she didn't mean to hurt one of its own kind.
Amity: (offscreen) Well, well, well…
Soon, she sees Amity looking sly at her.
Amity: Seems we have a killer on the loose.
Lotte and Luz: Amity?!
Diana: It was an accident. Just like the ice river.
Amity: Accidents can happen… but it's never an accident.
Diana: You don't understand.
Amity: Oh i do… you really cared about that child but never yourself.
Diana: I do care about myself.
Amity: And for them? You never cared about your own kind as well. Hurting an innocent little girl like a beast inside of you.
Diana: How was I supposed to know it was just Akko as a rabbid?! I hated Rabbids since they got me here.
Amity: Oh, really? Was it that you have no hat? No boots? No dignity?
Diana: What are you talking about?
Amity: You know what I'm talking about. You're a wild witch inside of you, calling you out like I do. (walks to her as Diana backs away) This pack is small, but it can have only one leader. That boy likes you… he's close to you like Akko, Lotte, and even Amanda. But he has a soft spot on you. Which makes me do… this!
She shoves her to the ground. The girls gasped.
Diana: (struggles to get up) What is your deal?!
Amity: You lied about not caring for humans. You do care about him. Admit it!
Diana: What? No?
Amity: Alright, fine. Have it your way.
She kicks Diana in the stomach. Diana groans in pain. The girls gasped in fear.
Hanna: Oh my!
Barbara: Such dramedy!
Amity keeps hurting her.
Amity: Say it!
Diana: (in pain) Never. (groans in pain)
Amity: You're no witch. (kicks Diana) You're a coward like Luz! (keeps kicking her) You only cared about humans for yourself!
Diana: (in pain) I don't even know what that means.
Amity: Oh don't worry. You'll find out.
She gives one last kick, which makes Diana scream in pain. She has enough of being hurt. The girls were shocked in fear. Amity looks at Diana beaten too much. She smirked evilly and walked off. Soon, Akko and Mataro as Akko rubs her belly.
Akko: (groans in disgust) You really have to do it in me? From putting your thing though my bottom?
Mataro: What? I thought it was… (gasped) Diana! (runs off)
Akko: Huh? Whoa!
The two run to the crowd as Mataro runs to Diana.
Mataro: (tries to wake her up) Diana! Diana, wake up!
Akko: What happened?
Lotte: Amity hurt Diana.
Luz: She thinks she has a weakness in her after that incident.
Akko gasped in shock. On Mataro, shaking her up.
Mataro: Come on, Diana. Wake up!
Diana moans in pain. She can't get up. Mataro then sees Amity having an evil look. He blames her for this.
Mataro: (groans) Hey! (walks to Amity) You leave her alone! What has she ever done to you?!
Amity stops while he is behind her.
Amity: Your girl doesn't care about you… she only cared about herself…
Mataro: Huh?
Amity: (looks at him) Your witch is a coward, like the rest of your witches you picked.
Mataro looks like the others who are worried about him.
Amity: It's a tough world out there, kid. She belongs to no one.
Mataro gasped in fear. But didn't believe what she said. He looks at Diana and yells at her.
Mataro: Diana! Diana!
Amity: Hmph. Try all you want. She's not going to save you now.
On Diana, hearing his voice, she struggles to get up. Amity and the others see this in shock. Diana tries but Amity smirks evilly.
Amity: She doesn't have the guts to live up.
Diana has too much pain in her. But as she noticed something aside to her, she saw Chariot in determination.
Chariot: Never give up, little one.
With that said, Diana starts to get up and stand tall with determination.
Diana: A true witch… knows her calling.
Amity: Huh?
Diana starts to walk angrily to Amity.
Amity: Well, back for round two, huh? Face it, Cavendish. You don't have the nerves to…
Soon, Diana punches Amity in the face with one blow then makes Amity fall on the ground. She then kicks her stomach with her bare foot. Amity yelps in pain.
Diana: No one treats me that way. (keeps kicking her) Not even myself! Nor you!
Soon, it was enough. Amity started to get up in pain and with some blood showing from her nose. She was angry. She starts to brawl Diana in the snow. It was a witch fight for young girls. The girls were shocked while Mataro started to encourage Diana a bit.
Mataro: Give her the one-two! Come on, Diana! Yeah!
Soon, the two start to beat each other up like teens. Only they are teens. Later, the two stopped for a breather.
Diana: (pants) Is that all you got?
Amity: (pants) No… just one.
She was about to reach for something, but can't get it. However, a blast hits her to the ground.
Diana: (offscreen) You mean this?
Soon, a wand was pointed at Amity. Diana holds a wand similar to hers.
Diana: You're no leader… you're nothing but a coward.
Amity: (groans in anger) Go ahead! Kill me! You're just like how a human would! Killing your own kind for yourself!
Diana noticed this in shock, but with determination and some confidence, she threw the wand to the ground.
Diana: (glares at her) Then leave… and never come back. I'm not like them. Nor you… nor anyone else.
Diana walks away as Amity is shocked in fear from what she did. The girls and Mataro cheered for Diana, even Hanna and Barbara.
Hanna: Wow, Diana! You're amazing!
Barbara: You have got to teach us those moves!
Hanna: Can we be your biggest fans?!
Barbara: Yeah!
Diana: Hmph. Only if you two listen good.
Hanna and Barbara: (stars in their eyes) We sure will!
Diana: Oh, and Akko.
Akko: Huh?
Diana: (grabs Akko by her dress) If you dare turn into a Rabbid again, it won't be so lucky.
Diana shoves Akko and walks away.
Akko: Hmph. Some nerve she has.
Mataro: Whoa...
The girls gossip but Luz and Lotte notice Amity scared and shocked at how she was. Amity retreats away from the group and walks off into the snowy land, alone. Luz and Lotte are both concerned and worried. The next morning…
Flynn Rider: Alright… line up!
The girls lined up.
Flynn Rider: Girls, according to the map, we're almost to the village. We're so close, girls. I can feel it. So close! Is anyone here before we take off?
Soon, he noticed one missing.
Flynn Rider: Hmm… where's Amity?
The girls mutter in worry except for Diana.
Diana: She probably went to the restroom like all the other rejects.
Lotte: That's not true. She retreated.
Flynn Rider: What?!
Luz: She was brawling Diana until Amity got defeated by Diana's tricks.
Lotte: Amity thinks she does care for humans, but Diana doesn't believe that.
Flynn Rider: You mean, she lost our only witch that is your leader?
Rapunzel: Now, Eugene. It was just an accident. She didn't mean to…
Flynn Rider: Of course it wasn't. I mean, she's always the leader. Always! But thanks to our new recruit here, she's gone somewhere in the woods and when those clans come to find her, she'll lead them to our spot!
The girls gasped. Flynn grabs Diana by her dress.
Flynn Rider: Do you have any idea what you've done?!
Diana: Hmph. That witch only cares about herself, that's all.
Flynn Rider: Yeah, like yourself. (drops her on the snow) When we get to the village, I'm kicking you off the team for good! Sure, you saved a child from certain disaster, but you lost one of our witches last night! You're no witch as I thought. You're just a hag who likes herself the way she is. Too much if you ask me. I mean, I am handsome, but not too much.
Mataro: Rider, leave her alone! (defends Diana) She looks fine. She didn't mean to hurt Amity. I mean, it was awesome, but…
Flynn Rider: And as for you, I'm kicking you off as well.
Mataro: Huh?
Flynn Rider: You heard me. You picked that witch out, and consider both of you out of it! (walks away while muttering)
Diana: Heh. It's not like I cared to be here in the first place.
Mataro: But… don't you wanna stay?
Diana: Of course not! I only wanted to go home, remember? (gets up and dusted off) Not to be here by you or your rejects.
As she walks off, Mataro feels worried about her. Even the girls. Both of the two have no place in their group. Later, as the carriage was moving through the path, Flynn was upset while Rapunzel was worried like the rest of the girls. All except Hanna and Barbara, who are gossiping about Diana. Mataro feels worried until Akko comforts him.
Akko: What is your deal, Diana? First you have cared and now you think you don't care about him? Even our kind.
Diana: First of all, I don't care about you. Second of all, I don't care about that little twerp. Third of all, I never wanted to be here anyhow because of the rabbids, the rude men who hit me with a baton, and the people who treat me like a… like a…
Sucy: A dog?
Diana: Hmph. Yes. I should be at home relaxing as a witch, but I can't because I'm stuck, listening to Flynn Rider while having my stomach hurt from being kicked by Amity, who makes no sense whatsoever!
Lotte: But she was our leader of the pack.
Diana: Well, I prefer to be in my own pack. By myself.
Hanna: Can we join, too?!
Barbara: Yeah! We love to be in your pack!
Diana: If you behave, that is.
Hanna and Barbara: (stars in their eyes in awe) We promise!
Akko: (groans) Humans are not that bad, Diana. You should have listened, but you can't. Because you're acting like how Amity was before all of this!
Diana: What are you even saying?
Luz: Sometimes, Amity can be a little jerk to us until you stand up and knock some sense into her.
Willow: I'll say. It was very scary seeing you fight so hard.
Constanze nodded.
Amanda: What are you girls talking about? That's some action I've ever seen. She was being like a boss!
Sucy: And a dick. (snickers)
Diana: Watch your mouth! I'm just here so that when we get to the village, I'm gonna find a good place to get some tickets to the next ride home, and I'll be off to my comfy home where I can rest and use my magic properly.
Lotte: But… the village has no ride. It's a one-way stop.
Diana: Huh?
Lotte: Once we get there… there's no turning back.
Diana: Wait… you mean… and I'll be… (groans and slams her fist on the ground) Great! This is just perfect. I can't imagine how it could get any worse.
Soon, they heard something.
Akko: What was that?
Outside, they notice a tree falling towards them. The girls and the three humans peeked outside the carriage to see it was being pushed down by Olaf, led by Mrs. Krum and her clan. The girls gasped.
Flynn Rider: Krums!
But then, a boulder was pushed down by Pumpkin on the other side with Mr. Ellingboe and his clan.
Pumpkin: Mine!
Rapunzel: Ellingboes!
Lotte: They must have found us!
Flynn Rider: He-ya!
The carriage runs faster.
Mrs. Krum: I can't believe this! What are you doing at our ambush?
Mr. Ellingboe: Your ambush? This is our ambush!
The gang was approaching the boulder and tree.
Rapunzel: Eugene…!
Flynn Rider: I'm trying! Hold on, everyone!
They screamed as they headed towards the two obstacles. However, they went underneath just in time, though Diana almost fell out, only for Mataro to catch her by her hand.
Mataro: I got you!
Diana: Let go!
Mrs. Krum: Oh, great! Look what you've done!
Mr. Ellingboe: What we've done?
Mrs. Krum: Leave it to you…
As the carriage left, the girls cheered to escape from the clans. Mataro struggles to pull her up but a bump almost makes him fall out. Akko noticed this.
Akko: Mataro!
Akko, Lotte and Sucy grab him right before he falls out. They pulled him and Diana back on the acarrige.
Lotte: Are you guys alright?
Mataro: We're good.
Diana: No! There is no "We"!
Akko: You should be lucky for him to save you! Just like how you…
Diana: I don't care about him anyhow!
Her voice echoes, only to cause the ground to shake.
Amanda: Now what?
Soon, from high in the mountains, a huge avalanche appeared. The gang notices this and Flynn speeds up. Hanna and Barbara scream.
Lotte: Avalanche!
Flynn Rider: Mush! Mush, my babies!
The reindeer runs as fast as they can. Soon, the girls panicked.
Akko: We don't make it!
Sucy: Should we pose before we all get frozen up?
Mataro: (hugs Diana) I don't wanna die!
Diana: Get off of me! You little…
Soon, Diana noticed something outside. On the hills, Chariot is seen glaring at her till she tilts her head down to a path she can understand. Diana's eyes widen.
Diana: Chariot…
Soon, Diana quickly gets Mataro off her waist and rushes to the driver seat to take the wheel. Diana whips the reindeer and turns to the right.
Flynn Rider: Whoa, whoa, hey kid, what are you doing?!
Diana moves the carriage to the path where Chariot stands.
Flynn Rider: No, no, no, no! Are you crazy?!
Diana: I know what I'm doing, human!
Flynn Rider: Hey, kid, I have a name, you know!
As the avalanche was almost catching up, the girls and Mataro braced themselves while screaming as the carriage went through the path, leading into an icy tunnel. They went down the tunnel while the avalanche pursued them. Soon, they got outside and headed towards a distant village. The people get out of the way as the carriage enters town and Rapunzel throws a big bag of mail by the post office.
Rapunzel and Flynn Rider: Hold! Hold!
Diana tries to stop it, but as the crowd moves, the carries dashed offscreen until it crashes. On the crash, we see the carriage broken while the reindeer and the girls are covered in snow. Mataro pops out followed by a dazed Diana. Mataro laughs in joy.
Mataro: We live! (hugs Diana) You saved us, Diana!
Diana: (dazed) Mommy? Is that you?
As she knocked some sense back on, she noticed Mataro hugging her by her waist. She exclaims in surprise and shoves him off.
Diana: Get off of me, little freak!
The girls popped out of the snow, muttered in awe about what Diana did.
Amanda: Now that is an epic exit stage right!
Hanna and Barbara: (squealing in excitement) Diana is the best!
Diana starts to get some attention, but whatever Chariot did to her made her wonder why did she do that. Later, as the people start getting their mail, the girls and Mataro are having a toast to Diana.
Hanna and Barbara: To Diana!
Witches: To Diana!
They chuckled while Diana was not impressed by their excitement.
Akko: Boy, we were so wrong about you since you saved Mataro from that ice river incident.
Lotte: He did save her first, Akko.
Akko: Oh yeah.
Amanda: But that avalanche part was gnarly! Ah-ha! Who knew the selfish brat had it in her?
Diana: Yeah…
Luz: You should be happy you're with us, Diana. Sure, Amity left, but… we don't just carry mail you know. We actually carry lives. We carry hope. We carry love. But not in a… well…
Diana: I get it. I'm straight. And I prefer to stay where I belong.
Sucy: But you're stuck with us.
Akko: Posting mail around the yukon.
Hanna and Barbara: And teach us your ways on how we can be like you.
Lotte: Just a moment. First you were selfish until when you stopped shoving Mataro, you said… "Chariot."
Diana blushed nervously with her eyes widened.
Lotte: You didn't tell us that…
Akko: (gasped in shock) She saw the Chariot of Dreams!
The girls muttered in shock. Mataro didn't know why. Diana was shocked, but started to be nervous.
Akko: What did she look like? Is she pretty? Is she nice? Does she exist?
Diana: Uh… well… it's just… I'm not sure. When I saw her… she… kinda called me out. Kicks out my mind and takes control. Like a calling or... something she described. I think she called me… (touched her chest) In here.
Willow: Oh… the Witch's Calling. That's part of the legend of the Chariot of Dreams...
Diana: Huh?
Willow: Witches who are selfish and mean would see a bright side by the Shiny Chariot and unleash their calling by their feelings. Brave, loyalty… and hope.
Diana: Is… is that why?
Willow: Sounds like it.
Amanda: Well, tomorrow, we've got a big day ahead of us with Diana's new spirit in her. Ain't that right, leader.
Diana: Me? A leader?
Amanda: Sure, sure, with that Amity brat gone, who's gonna lead us? Akko?
Akko: I'm right here, Amanda.
Amanda: Point is, you got some guts, Diana. It's time to see what you Cavendishes really show off.
The girls agreed to Diana and walked away, leaving Diana and Mataro alone together. Diana starts to worry about being here. Being a leader, a calling from Chariot. Sure she's the same as always but not the way she feels. Diana looks at the people reading their letters, just like how Jesper thinks she can be useful. Mataro was confused about her. As she walks off, Mataro starts to wonder about her and why she was called for. Meanwhile, in an old cabin, a man was writing a letter.
Old Man: (voiceover) Dearest Lydia, the soul seems to have gone out of me now. Each day, it starts with a memory of our daughter. Her approaching birthday reminds me of all that's been lost. The warmth of our home…. The adventures our daughter dreamed of...
In a room where the witches sleep, Diana, sitting in her bed, can't get any rest because of the questions in her head she can't get out. She looks through the window to see a family enjoying themselves. She only wished to see her mother again as it shows from her flashbacks.
Old Man: (voiceover) I wish I had found the words to express how I felt before the silence became… unbearable... And I left. I searched for a place I might feel so… peace.
Diana curls herself up as a ball and feels miserable without her family helping her. The only thing she knows is that her family doesn't care but Uncle Balthazar. Tears come from her closed eyes with a sad look on her face.
Old Man: (voiceover) Though I fear I will never find it. 'Cause I know that as I am… there may be no home for me in this world.
A hand touched her shoulder. Diana noticed this and turned her head to the side. Her eyes widen with a gasp to see Chariot smiling softly to her. She said no word but a peaceful nod. Chariot then untouched her and walked away to the door. She opens it and gets one last look at her before she leaves. As she left the room, the door was closed. Diana then comes out of her bed and runs to the door only when she opens it, Chariot is gone. She wants to talk to her but she can't. Diana has so many questions only for them to be unanswered by Chariot herself. Saddened, she closes the door and heads for bed. The next morning, with the carriage repaired, the girls load up the mail using their magic. Soon, it was about time to move. Diana was seen from her bed about to get ready. She got her dress on, but no shoes or hat to wear. Still, she goes without them. She sighs in despair. Outside, Diana walks through the snow barefooted as the girls hopped in the carriage one by one. Mataro noticed her coming.
Mataro: There you are! (rushed to her and drags Diana to the carriage) Come on, Diana! You're gonna be late!
Diana: Wait! Slow down!
Soon, Diana was tossed in the driver seat between Flynn and Rapunzel.
Flynn Rider: Morning, sleeping beauty.
Rapunzel: Ready for the big day?
Diana: Uh… (as Mataro hops on her lap) Wha!
Mataro: She's ready!
Diana: Wait, I wasn't…
Rapunzel: Good.
Flynn Rider: Let's move! He-ya!
The carriage starts to drive out as the crowd cheers. Diana feels sad til she notices something up ahead.
Diana: Flynn!
Flynn Rider: Huh? Whoa!
He stops the ride to a complete halt, pushing the girls near each other in the carriage. Blocking it was a strong old man holding a letter. He has no word or expression. The four were shocked.
Flynn Rider: Uh… buddy? You're holding up the path. Can you please move aside?
Soon, the man starts to walk to the driver's seat and gives the letter to Diana.
Diana: Huh? Uh… we need to…
Old Man: You're a witch, are you?
Diana: Uh, sure, but… (he gives her the letter) Oof!
Old Man: Mail it. (walks away) For my wife.
The crowd backs away from the strange man walking away.
Flynn Rider: Okay… that was weird… moving on! He-ya!
Flynn steers the carriage out of town for another mail delivery. Many days later, they returned to the village with thunderous applause. Flynn carries a mailbag to the post office window.
Mailwoman: (as she unloads the bag) 2400 miles in 80 days.
Flynn Rider: (chuckles) Diana's gonna sleep until fall.
Mailwoman: (finds a letter among the pile) Rider! For you. It looks official.
She hands him the letter and he reads it as he walks off with Mataro and Rapunzel.
Rapunzel: What's the news from down south?
Flynn opens the letter and reads it to himself. His eyes widened. He shows it to Rapunzel, who gasped. Later, Diana and the witches were placed in the adoption center. The gates closed.
Akko: The route's terminated by the team?
Flynn Rider: Sorry, girls. You all did good. You don't need me and my carriage anymore.
Rapunzel: We hope you'll be fine without us. And you all have a great journey ahead. Including your leader.
The witches faced Diana in confusion but worry.
Diana: But… what about me? I need to go home. (walks to them near the gate) I'm not ready to be adopted again.
Flynn Rider: You did nothing wrong, Diana. You did good as well. Selfish in the beginning but… you found your pack. You should be proud of yourself. I'm sorry for being harsh for… the Amity incident… but that's all in the past. You need to move on. (pats her head) I know you will. (walks away) Come on, Rapunzel.
Mataro feels worried as Flynn and Rapunzel walk away. Mataro, refusing to go with them, decided to stay near her as his decision.
Rapunzel: Mataro? You coming?
Mataro: Uh… (looks at Diana) I wanna stay. I don't wanna leave her behind.
Shopkeeper: Well, if you have enough cash, she can be yours.
Rapunzel: Well, we…
Flynn Rider: Come on, Rapunzel. I think it's best for him to be with her for a while. He did pick her after all.
Rapunzel: Aw… okay. You stay out of trouble. (walks away with Flynn) Farewell, Mataro!
As the two left, Mataro went to the gate where Diana is and pressed his hand on the gate. He was sad to see her in there.
Mataro: No matter what happens… I'll find a way to get you and the girls out. I promise.
Diana was shocked to have her life in the hands of the boy she selfishly thinks. As he runs off, Diana feels scared to be adopted again. Just like the way she was kidnapped, too. Sucy and Lotte comfort a worried Akko while Willow comforts a worried Luz. Diana looks at the witches worried as her. She then sighs, walks off and lays on the ground, resting in sadness. The girls were worried about her. The next day, while the girls rest, a man, known as Weasel, comes in and sees the girls. Seeing how they rest peacefully, he smirked evilly to found him a perfect group of witches.
Weasel: Oi, how much for the whole pack?
Soon, the girls were strapped as sled dogs to a sled by a fancy couple.
Weasel: I promise you girls, didn't i? And here we are! (straps Diana's vest tight) Perfect sled witches for the rest.
Diana: (groans) This is stupid. Where are the sled dogs?
Weasel: We don't need them.
Diana: We?
Soon, the couple comes out.
Ragyō: You promised me gold. Where is it? In the girls? (she and her husband laugh)
Weasel: Get the sled loaded. It's time to stake our claim.
Diana notices Weasel holding a club in his hand. Memories of that frightens her.
Weasel: Let's go. And… mush!
The girls struggled as Diana was in front. Mataro walks out of the building yawing to see the witches trying to pull the sled. He noticed Diana struggling to pull. He gasped to know it's too late. Someone brought her.
Weasel: Mush.
Ragyō: Are they broken?
Isshin: No. They're just lazy.
Mataro: (in fear) Diana...
Weasel: (offscreen) Mush!
Soon, Diana was unable to pull with the heavy load on the sled.
Weasel: (hands the club to Isshin) Isshin, persuade the brat.
Ragyō: Not the club. Isshin, put down the club or I'll… I won't go a step! Isshin!
As he was about to hurt her, Diana braced herself when Mataro stepped in and shields her.
Mataro: No!
Isshin: Huh?
Diana then notices Mataro.
Diana: Mataro?
Mataro: You can't hurt her! She's my witch.
Weasel: Your witch?! (chuckles) Them's theirs now. All of them.
He sees the girls worried except for Sucy, who looks tired.
Mataro: They're… frozen in fear. Where are you taking them?
Weasel: None of your concern, kid. Where we're heading is the gold at the end of the trail over the river during spring.
Mataro: Spring?! But it will melt when you get there.
Weasel: Well, that leaves half fit for travel.
Mataro: You can't do this! I need her!
Weasel: She's mine, boy. And I'm not resting till spring's thaw. Those witches are good sled dogs and I'm helping this dear couple get to the river for some gold-la.
Mataro: But the ice will break with the witches on it. Let them be.
Weasel: And let some old prospector lead us to the gold? Fat chance, boy. The Matois need that gold and I paid a fortune for this team. They'll pull my sled and there's no backing out now on saving your little witch friend of yours. (chuckles)
Mataro: But… they'll die if they do.
Weasel: Then say your "last goodbye" to your little witch if they do. (walks away) Let's get a move on, shall we?
Mataro, feeling worried, walks to Diana, saddened to see her go.
Mataro: I'm… I'm sorry, Diana, I...
Diana: (sighs; kneels down to him) It's okay, Mataro. I'll be fine.
Mataro: I know you will…
Weasel: (offscreen) Let's go, witches!
Isshin: And mush!
The witches start pulling the sled out of town. Mataro watched to see them go. Although halfway, the witches were slowing down from exhaustion.
Weasel: You lazy witches!
Ragyō: I'm not so sure about those girls. Maybe we should have bought a different team.
Isshin: Maybe we should feed them.
Ragyō: You should've stayed on the trail.
Weasel: Mush!
Suddenly, most of the witches slump to the ground and the sled nearly falls backward with the trio on it.
Weasel: Maybe they just need a little encouragement.
He gets out a whip and swings it at the witches, forcing their tired bodies to get up.
Weasel: (as he whips) Mush! Mush!
On the front, Diana's legs wobble as she gets up and tries to walk. Her bare feet were covered in mud. She can't take it anymore. Meanwhile, Mataro was at a bar table, feeling sad to miss Diana. He looks through the window to see two girls (Michiru and Nazuna in human form) talking to each other like friends. As they giggle and walk off, Mataro feels more sad to still remember Diana a bit. He starts to play the harmonica in order to cheer up. Soon, the icicles about the window start to melt. Mataro realized it's almost spring. He gasped and got up to run off. He then swipes an inconvenient shotgun from a barrel of shotguns labeled "Jack Thornson's Bucket of Shotguns!" it was obvious though. He starts to follow the path where Weasel is taking them by a map he swiped from him. Clever boy he is. He folds the map up and cocks his mini shotgun then runs off. Back with Diana and the witches, they came across an icy river, which was slowly thawing. Diana notices it thawing then gasps as she stops the rest near it. She faints on the ground.
Weasel: Well, now. We're going across. Move!
Weasel then grabs Diana by her dress and drags her to the river but she struggles to stop him.
Weasel: I say, you go!
Ragyō: Weasel, she can't.
Weasel: Move…
He tossed her to the ground as she tried to get up but when Weasel stepped on her back, he pulled out his gun and aimed for her head. The girls gasped in fear.
Ragyō: Don't you dare!
He cocks his weapon til… bam! A gunshot was heard.
Mataro: (offscreen) Hey!
They see Mataro aiming his gun at them. Weasel drops the gun in shock.
Mataro: Let her go! That ice bridge is gonna break up any minute! She was just saving your life!
Weasel: Whoa, whoa, put the gun down at…
Mataro fires another round in the air, startling them. He means business.
Weasel: Why are you so keen to stop us? Oh, you know where the gold is, don't you?
Mataro: No, I do not.
Weasel: Boy… You keep your filthy hands off of my...
Ragyō: Weasel. Weasel, he said we shouldn't cross.
Isshin: Are you sure we couldn't just leave the witches?
Weasel: We're not leaving anywhere till they do as I…
Soon, Mataro hits him by his legs and Weasel slides down to the river. Mataro then comes to a hurtful Diana and cuts her free. He then carries her away from them.
Mataro: I'm sorry I can't save you all, witches.
The girls are worried about Mataro and themselves.
Weasel: (offscreen) Fine! Take you little witch! Leave the rest… (comes onscreen; gets on the sled) To me. Mush!
The other witches got up and sadly walked off with the sled.
Mataro: Don't do this. Not to them.
Weasel and the couple walk down the icy river with the other witches, leaving Mataro and Diana behind. Diana was resting though, after being hurt too much. Mataro feels her heart beating on her chest. She was fine. He sighs in relief.
Mataro: Don't worry, Diana… (carries her away) I'll keep you safe for now.
He then walks away from them until later that night, we pan down to an old cabin far from the village. Inside, Diana was resting until we heard someone zip down a zipper then nudged her offscreen. Soon, sighing was heard while Diana grints in worry. As it stopped, she was nudged again and zipped up a zipper. Soon, she starts to wake up.
Diana: (groggily; wakes up) What… (groans) What happened?
Soon, her eyes snapped open and she got up. Around her, she was in an old cabin with no sight of her witches. She looks around but is disgusted by the things it has. Just then, she noticed Mataro sitting on the stairs. She was surprised to see him.
Diana: Mataro?!
Mataro: Huh? (sees Diana awake) Diana! You're awake!
Diana: (rushed to him) Did anything happen? (looks around outside) Where are the girls? What's going on? Where are we?
Mataro: Diana, take it easy. They're not gonna be here.
Diana: Why would you think of that?!
Mataro: Because... Weasel happened.
Diana: What?
Mataro: He took them away and went off to look for gold. The river melts as spring goes by.
Diana was shocked in fear and went to the river to find them.
Mataro: You won't find them, Diana. You've been resting for two days… in my bed.
Diana: In your what?
Mataro: I had to free you from Weasel. It was the only way I could save you.
Diana: And you didn't save the rest.
Mataro: I'm sorry, Diana! I can't help it.
Diana: But you promised.
Mataro: I only promised you. I just… I just like you. As in… like-like you.
Diana: You mean.. You are… (Groans in disgust) Great… now how can things get any worse?
Soon, her ass was dripping out some yellow liquid. She noticed this to see the snow below her a bit yellow.
Diana: What the… (her stomach growls; groans) Did I eat something poisonous or…?
Mataro: Uh… about that. (chuckles nervously)
Cut far away, we hear Diana screaming which causes some crows to fly off. Later, Diana walks to town while her behind small drips of his piss out of her. We pan up to see Diana not happy about what Mataro did to her. Her stomach growls as she groans in pain from something in her. Diana moans in anger til Mataro tries to catch up.
Mataro: Diana! Wait! (trips then face plants; gets up and runs after her) Where are you going?
Diana: I'm going home! And don't follow me!
Mataro: You can't wander out in the cold. It's dangerous!
Diana stops, then turns to Mataro in frustration.
Diana: (snaps) Zip it, little brat!
Mataro backs away from seeing her angry.
Diana: (upset) First you picked me for some sled job, then lose my only friends i had from some gold digging manic, now you tried to use me as your personal toliet, which is pretty disgusting but also make me feel as your not as a pet but also A SEX SLAVE! Using my ass for your little thing to plug up in me has crossed the line! I'm tired of living in this frozen, broken down, iceberg of a place! And this was the last straw, Mataro. (Yells) THE LAST! So I prefer we go our separate ways… for good. (turns away from him then walks away) Good day, Mataro.
Mataro: Diana…
Feeling worried, he tries to go after her…
Mataro: Wait.
But Diana used her wand to fire a shot near him to get back from her.
Diana: Don't you dare follow me again. (puts her wand away) EVER! (turns away) Hmph.
She then walks off. Mataro feels lonely without her. He sits down and feels sad. Later, Diana mutters in anger while walking through the village. She still shivers by the cold snow she feels on her bare feet. Just then, she stops near the front of the village. A blizzard was beyond the village outside. Diana wants to continue but her feet are getting cold. She can't move one inch from the village. Looking down, her toes wiggle a bit from the snow. Diana suddenly felt saddened to not go too far. Just then, with her eyes widened in shock, she sees Chariot beyond the blizzard. Diana wished to go after her but can't. She was stuck in the village with Mataro and the others. Chariot then softly smiles to her and tips her hat to her. Then, she walks off as she fades away from the blizzard. Diana gasped to see her go and made her sadden a bit more. Her stomach growls, but not from the piss in her. Just that she's thirsty. She looks at a bar aside from her. She sighs and takes the risk. Soon, in the bar, Diana takes a seat in the bar table. A bartender was cleaning his glass mugs.
Bartender: What can I get ya, little lady?
Diana: A shot that leads me nowhere.
Bartender: Whatever you say, little lady.
As he walks offscreen, Diana starts to worry about the place she's in. She's in a bar full of men that like to play darts, only for knives to be darts. It was scary for her. She noticed a man getting so many tattoos all over his body. She's a little creeped about that. This place was scary for her. She's not at home anymore. Soon, Mataro enters and finds her. He then sits next to her while she rests her head on the table.
Mataro: Diana…?
Diana: (groans) Go away, pervert.
Mataro: I know I messed you up but… I'm sorry for being a bit rude to you.
Diana: No, you're not. You're disgusting, you're a freak, and worse, I'm stuck here being with a bunch of sickos. If i don't get out of here… what am i?
Mataro: You're my pet.
Diana: (groans) I'm not your pet. I'm no one's pet. I don't like humans for treating us this way.
Mataro: How come?
Diana: (sighs) My father… before he passed away.
Mataro: You have a father?
Diana: I come from a long line of Cavendishes and I've been training my whole life to be one of the witches that serve the Cavendishes. But now I can't… I'm far from home, stuck with a town of crazy people,...
Mataro: And still my pet.
Diana: (groans then slams her face on the table) Still… (gets her head up) Back home… I had everything. My mom was a witch… and my dad... he owned her. She was my dad's witch. Serving him for his purposes till… they were in love when they first met. And… when I was born, my mom was sick. Real sick. I didn't know why. But months later… my dad passed away, and I'm stuck with my aunt… her sisters,... my uncle… and his uncle's friend.
Mataro: You have a weird family.
Diana: Tell me about it.
Mataro: Hmm… you ever think we should start one?
Diana: I doubt it. I'm 16… and you're too young. We're not the same, Mataro. Why can't you get that we're not exactly alike. How would you fall in love with a witch like I am?
Mataro: Because… because… because it's my dream.
Diana: Huh?
Mataro: It's my dream to be with a witch. Fall in love with one, get a date from her, marry her… (sighs) It's weird, I know… but worth it to make history. The world's crazy and my sister… she's more of a "hallelujah" moment about life. I just… you know, get laid by a witch like yourself or something I guess.
Diana: That's… disturbing for me to handle that.
Mataro: But it's not your choice, it's my choice. I mean… I do like-like you because of your hair, your face, your… chest.
He's gesturing her breasts.
Diana: Oookay…
Mataro: I just thought of… that maybe when the whole mail thing is over, i could one day… have you. And start a family together like… real pros do it. (feels saddened) I just really hope you would be happy I saved you like you saved me. (sighs) And I know you don't like me. We had a good connection, and I thought…
Diana: Hey, hey, Mataro… it's gonna be okay. But… I'm sure when you get older… I'll think about it.
Mataro: Well, it's not gonna happen. I had a witch curse me to be young like this forever so…
Diana: (shocked) Come again?
Soon, Weasel burst in.
Weasel: You son of a bitch!
He picks up Mataro in rage.
Weasel: They're gone! The witches ran off, my fortune lost… And you called it a fairy tale!
Diana: They what?! They ran off!
Weasel: Huh? (sees Diana; glares) You… (drops him) You did this!
Diana: Wait, what did I do?
Weasel: You let that little brat save you!
Mataro: Hey! Back off from her! She's my pet!
Weasel: Your little pet is a curse! She doesn't want me to find that gold! (pulls out his baton) And now she's gonna pay!
Mataro: No!
He then hits Diana by her head with the baton. She fell on the ground while the crowd was startled.
Mataro: Diana!
Diana moans in pain as she tries to get up.
Weasel: You all saw it. This boy and I had business, and his witch is nothing but a coward.
He laughed while Diana groaned in anger.
Mataro: Easy, Diana… (she walks to the bar to get her drink)
Weasel: You see? I say she gets put down here and now.
The crowd muttered.
Diana: (holds her drink) Can't we just settle this over a pint? No? Alright then. (drinks the whole thing) Ahh… here's a trick you all need to learn.
Weasel: And what's that, missy?
Diana: (smirks) Keep your eye on the bottle.
In slo-mo, she swings the bottle in the air and while Weasel's distracted, out of slow-mo, Diana punches him to a table which knocks down a domino of cowboys to a cowboy trying to drink his drink. After his drink was splashed by the comboy domino, the big cowboy brute was furious at him.
Cowboy Miniladd: You son of a mustang!
But the cowboy angrily punched the brute.
Cowboy Terrioser: IT'S A BAR FIGHT!
Soon, The country band and the piano player starts playing an old timey bar fight music and a big brawl erupted in the bar. Mataro hugs Diana in comfort.
Mataro: Diana!
Diana: Not now, Mataro! We gotta go!
Their path was blocked by a few beaten up cowboys.
Mataro: Scatter!
The two scattered off. On a Judge sitting at a table reading a book called "The Call of the Wild."
Judge Sanders: Huh. Good book.
Soon, a cowboy was tossed at his table, breaking it. The judge didn't mind while drinking his beer. The two cowboys were beating each other up with chairs. Weasel was getting beaten up by two girls who are having a birthday as they punched him then kicked him. One of the laughing bar attendees bops another on the back so hard, it makes him spit his teeth out, bopping a burly cowboy on the head and landing in a frothy mug of root beer.
Fancy Bar Attendee: I say!
He is punched by the burly cowboy and is then attacked by the two bar attendees.
Fancy Bar Attendee: What did I do?
Soon, Diana and Mataro bump into each other.
Mataro: Down, Diana!
She ducks and punches a cowboy, as Diana did the same.
Diana: Thanks, Mataro.
Two cowboys picked them up and tossed them out the window near some trash. The two moan in pain as they get up. Diana noticed they landed in some trash and freaks out. She groans then sighs.
Diana: I really hate the Yukon.
Mataro noticed something in the bar.
Mataro: Incoming!
The two ducked as Weasel was tossed out of the bar and into the police station right in a cell, locked up tight for good. An officer was reading today's newspaper while noticing the thug arrested with his gun and baton laid on the ground.
Sheriff: Heh. Another criminal as always.
On the two, they panted while the two softly smiled at each other. However, Diana noticed something on Mataro.
Diana: Uh… Mataro?
Mataro: What?
When he moved, a large piece of glass was stabbed on his head. His eyes widened then laughed. Diana laughed as well. The two laughed till… he screamed. Diana screams until we cut back to the cabin as the piece was now out. Diana used her wand to heal his head.
Diana: There now. Weasel won't be bothering us anymore.
Mataro: (groans in pain; rubs his head) Thanks… are you okay, Diana?
Diana: Oh… I'm fine. It's just… (groans) that baton gives me nightmares once. When I was taken to this… horrible place. I… I don't wanna have the same nightmares again so I had to act. I mean, you would have seen what they did to me. A bump on the head would knock me out and… I didn't want that to happen. I would lose my memories forever..
Mataro: How can that be a bad thing?
Diana: Have you ever seen a witch have amnesia?
Mataro: Oh…
Diana: Yeah, that.
Mataro: You make a good point, Diana.
He gets out some whiskey and uncorks it, as he drinks some of it, which questions Diana a bit. Mataro notices her then offers his drink.
Mataro: Want some?
Diana: (sniffs it then gags in disgust; groans) Ugh… (waffs) No thank you. (pushes it away) I'm done with whiskey. (stops waffing then sighs) You know, if I'm gonna live with you,... (deep breath) I supposed I'll stay with you… for now.
Mataro: Yes!
Diana: But! We need to set up some ground rules. One, no using my stomach as a… thing from you… little… whatever you may call it to be shove up my ass and fill me up like a… I don't know what it is but still. And two… (Grabs the bottle from him)
Mataro: Hey!
She walks with the bottle, and opens the door. She then tossed it into the river then closed it.
Diana: No drinking while I'm around. Got it?
Mataro: Not even water?
Diana: Water's good, but I meant that disgusting whiskey you found.
Mataro: (goes to a cooler) It's the only thing we got here.
Mataro opens a cooler to show tons of whiskey bottles. Diana's eyes widened. Outside, offscreen, she opened the door and tossed the entire cooler into the river. She slams it closed.
Diana: Hmph. Now then. I hope you understand this later on. If you want me… you're gonna have to follow my rules. Not yours!
Mataro: (groans) Okay…
Diana: Good. Now then… where can I take a bath? I need to get a good shower before I rest up.
Mataro: Uh… we do have a bathtub, but…
Later, Diana was curled up as a ball in a bucket of water while being naked. Diana was nervous while Mataro washes her back.
Diana: This is embarrassing.
Mataro: Hold still, Diana.
Diana: I feel like being bathed by a perv while being a dog.
Mataro: Well, it's the yukon. We do this all the time for our witches.
Diana: Now he tells me. Does this make you feel nervous that… you're bathing me while I'm completely naked in this big bucket of water?
Mataro: Not my problem. I do think you look hot while you're naked. (she glares at him) Not if there's a problem with that.
Diana: (sighs) Men… I just wish I didn't wanna be here by a few prospectors, wild clans and… maybe… just maybe if just find some...
Mataro: Freedom?
Diana: Yeah. I think that… I want to be free. But I can't… I'm far from home and I'm stuck with you.
Mataro: (stops rubbing her back with soap) Hmm… you know… I heard about that guy we encountered.
Diana: Who? That creepy big guy we met?
Mataro: Yeah… I heard rumors about him telling his wife about his daughter discovering an adventure to a place where some witches are free in the woods.
Diana: A place in the woods?
Mataro: He keeps a map from his daughter about her discoveries. If we find this place…
Diana: Then I won't have to be bothered by anyone… Mataro, you're a genius! I should kiss you!
Mataro: (eyes widen in awe) Really?
Diana: Ew, no. Why would I do that? That would be so stupid.
Mataro: Good point. Kissing a young boy while you're naked as all. That is stupid.
Her eyes widened in shock.
Diana: (shocked) You're still right about that.
Later, Diana got dressed and got in his bed. She tucks in and fixes her pillow.
Mataro: You know it's my bed now.
Diana: Huh?
Mataro: You think I can sleep with you tonight?
Diana: Hmph. As if… Why would I let a gross perv like you sleep with me?
Mataro: Because I was fixing your bed up for you.
He pans to a busted-up hammock made for Diana. It then becomes apart. Diana's eyes widened in shock. She groans and covers her face with a pillow.
Mataro: It's not much, really, but it'll do for the night.
Diana: (sighs) Look, Mataro, I'm a gentlelady, not a slob. And I prefer to sleep in this bed. With the silk sheets and warm brace and… (Mataro was confused) Alright, look, point is, a girl like myself needs some beauty sleep. Having a young boy like yourself sleep next to me would have many hazard perverted cautions.
Mataro: How is that a big deal?
Diana: It is a big deal! I'm not too trustworthy to have you near me after that bathroom incident you did to me. And I can still feel your piss boiling in me!
Her stomach growls, Diana clutches it while grunting and groaning.
Diana: So rest anywhere you went, but this bed is now mine.
Soon, Diana noticed him giving her the puppy dog eyes.
Diana: Oh, come now. Don't give me the puppy dog eyes.
She tries to resist them until she can't and she finally lowers.
Diana: Fine. You can sleep with me. But just once!
Mataro: Yes!
Diana scootches aside and Mataro hops in, tucking him near her. He softly smiles at her while she rolls her eyes in dismay. As the two rest, Diana rests peacefully until… Mataro snores loudly. Diana's eyes snap open. She was then not amused sleeping with him. It was gonna be a long night.
