"Come on, Mari, it's time to get up," said Salome as she stood at the base of the steps that led up to her sister's bed.
"It's Saturday, I don't have to be up till ten," said Marinette while pulling the covers up over her head.
"Did you stay up late last night for patrol?" asked Salome.
"No, I was working on those masks over there for my friends in Kitty Section," said Marinette, who weekly pointed at her work table where a group of masks were laid out.
"These look amazing," said Salome while picking one up.
"Their last masks got damaged from the recent uptake in use so I promised to make new ones for them," said Marinette as she finally got up and started to climb down.
"Can't believe how cool my little sister is," said Salome.
"I'm not that cool," said Marinette.
"Are you kidding?" asked Salome.
"You made amazing clothes for me and Jagged Stone, you were in Clara Nightingale's music video, and you're Ladybug," she said, making sure to whisper the last part.
"Does that really make me cool?" asked Marinette.
"Definitely," said Salome before hugging her sister.
"Now how about we go get breakfast before mom starts yelling at us for wasting the day away?" she asked while pointing to the floor hatch.
"Sure thing," said Marinette with a smile.
"Oh by the way, I'm thinking of sending this picture to Adrien," said Salome.
"I wonder what he would think to see you like this," she said while showing Marinette her phone. On it was a picture of Marinette sleeping, her body contorted and drool running down her chin.
"Don't you dare send him that!" said Marinette while chasing her sister downstairs into the apartment area of the building.
"Well, Mari's up," said Sabine who was downstairs with her husband in the bakery kitchen where they could hear their daughters running around above them.
