June was getting ready for the day, for today Ratchet would use the groundbridge to bring her in Cairo for her to bring medicine to an hospital. But as she looked in the mirror, she saw something on her neck that she was sure wasn't there before : a tatoo of an eye, drawn in egyptian hieroglyph style.

" What's this ? I feel at peace looking at it. " June thought

" Maybe I could help you to understand. " A mysterious voice responded

" Huh ?! Who said that ? " June asked, looking around her

" In the mirror. " It responded

June looked and saw a man with a falcon head, wearing an ancient egyptian tunic.

" Hello, June Darby. I am Horus, god of the Sun and Moon. " The man said

" The Horus ?! But how ? " The shocked June asked

" I am currently in the spirit realm and I can only appear in the mortal world on reflecting surfaces. And only the mark bearer can see me at all. " Horus explained

" The mark bearer ? " June asked

" There is a story behind it : A long time ago, I was one of six warriors who defeated an invader from Cybertron, way before the decepticons came. Megatronus Prime is feeding on suffering and despair. After a long battle, we managed to seal his spirit away from Earth and we destroyed his body. But since the mark appeared, it means that he returned. " Horus answered

" What is it you expect me to do ? " June asked

" For now, before we begin your training, you will have to give me a bit of your vital energy to allow me to enter the mortal world. You just have to extend your hand and concentrate. " Horus explained

June did as he said and soon Horus got out of the mirror, albeit shrunk and glowing.

" Whoa, you're even cuter like this. " June cooed

" If I return to the spirit realm, I swear I'll take this shame in oblivion. " Horus grumbled, not liking this at all

June was ready to go in egypt before she passed the t.v where an entrepreneur, Zakaria Aziz, was talking to a reporter.

" Thanks to these machines, we take the Nile's water to irrigate the desert and make it fertile. Thanks to our process, the desert will go back and starvation will be only a bad memory. " Aziz explained

" Of course, and I'm the pharaoh. " June snarked

" You are right, nurse Darby, this man is lying through his teeth. Only a godly force could make the desert back off. " Ratchet added, opening the groundbridge

" See you later, Ratchet. " June said, walking through the vortex

After delivering her supplies, June and Horus went in an isolated area for her to train.

" Alright June. First of all, you have the power of the Moon : You can soothe hearts and heal bodies. Focus on your compassion to heal. "

June did as he said and she healed a wounded cat who was passing.

" Good. You can also create the Moon's shield : It's a very solid barrier. Focus on what you want to protect when you wish to use this power. " Horus continued

June focused on a rock nearby and a white forcefield appeared around it.

" Excellent. Now, the power of the Sun allow you to create light. It can be so intense that it can dazzle, or it can warm up like the rays of a spring sun. Your soul's generosity will allow you to use this power. " Horus instructed

June focused and light came from her hands then she felt a great heat coming from her body.

" Perfect ! And now, you can focus Solar rays energy in a single beam. It's a fearsome weapon that can cut through the most solid materials. Focus on your aggressiveness and your anger to command it. " Horus continued

June focused but, having no reason to be angry, only managed to produce a weak beam from her right eye.

" Well, there is work to do. " Horus commented

Zakaria Aziz was walking through his worksite, which was only a cover for his real goal : A mysterious man contacted him to reveal an undiscovered tomb was buried there.

" Mister Aziz, you'll be happy to know that we finally discovered the great funeral hall. Your contact was right about the location of the hidden necropolis. " One of the workers informed him

The two walked inside the necropolis and saw it was full of mummies inside sarcophagus.

" Isn't it wonderful, boys ? We'll make a fortune selling those treasures on the black market. " Zakaria said

But as the workers were cheering on him, a shadow appeared and engulfed them. It was Set, god of deserts.

" Unfortunately, your usefulness to me is now at an end. " Set stated before rising his hands.

The Mummies came back to life and attacked Zakaria and his workers, killing them.

As the nurse was continuing to train, a sandstorm arrived on the city. She quickly activated her forcefield to protect herself until it calmed down.

" This must be The Fallen or one of his servants doing. If they are able to cause such a disaster, they already are so powerful. " Horus lamented

When the storm went away, Cairo was devastated, with sand everywhere, fallen trees, vehicles upside down and shattered windows. June went towards a man who was wounded on his leg.

" Don't worry sir, I'm a doctor. " June said

She then activated her healing aura and the wound disappeared as if it never existed.

" Wait, that's a miracle ! I don't feel pain now ! And I can walk. " He said

June repeated the process with an old woman, a boy, a bearded man and a young girl.

" That's good, June, but to fully use your powers, you will need my legendary weapon, a spear called " The eye of Horus. " The god explained " It will allow you to channel a lot more energy. After our first victory against Megatronus, I hid it in a tomb in the Valley of the Kings, far from man's desires. But I don't know where this tomb is, under those sands.

" I have an idea. We'll talk to the curator of the museum, mr Al-battani. He is one of the greatest experts on ancient egypt. I helped his son twice, I'm sure he'll receive me." June proposed

" That's a good idea. " Horus agreed

( with Set )

The evil god had killed all the workers and reanimated their corpses to add to his undead army.

" My army ! I awoke you to take your revenge against the living. Soon, the desert will rule again and the Nile will only be a dry pond. Go forth, my loyal soldiers . Destroy the city and dry up Men's hope, like their river will be. " Set ordered

The mummies then plunged in the sands and swam in it towards Cairo.

June had gone to the museum, all the while seeing medics and soldiers evacuating civilians to refugees camps. She went towards the museum's entrance and entered.

She saw mr Al-battani, a grey-haired man with a small beard and a mustache deplacing some ancient artefacts.

" Mr Al-battani. " She called, making him turn towards her.

" Ah, Mrs Darby. You're a sight for sore eyes. Look at my poor museum. Even here the damages are considerable. All those unique relics. We will have to secure them all before even thinking to repair. " Mr Al-battani said

Then Set flew through the window ceiling, making a rain of shattered glass.

" Spirits of the deceased, awake ! Hear my voice and rise beyond the flows of death. Let your bodies come alive. You will never perish for Death will never have hold on you. Ever ! " He boasted, as all the mummies in the museum arise.

" That old fossil of Set ! My father's killer ! " Horus snarled

" My army ! Kill ! Destroy ! Spread suffering and despair ! " Set ordered

A mummy attacked the two humans with an axe but June invoked a forcefield and the weapon was repelled, even ripped from the undead's hand.

" Go, June ! Use your healing power against them ! Undead cannot handle being healed ! " Horus instructed her

" With pleasure. " June responded

She activated her healing aura and placed in front of the mummy who crumbled to dust. June attacked four others who fell too.

" Who are you, dirt worm, to oppose my will ? " Set demanded, as he sent lightning to June

The latter protected herself and the curator but they were still pushed back

Set attacked her once again but she dodged and hid behind a pillar.

" I will crush you like a vermin. I will break your bones and burn your skin. " Set threatened her, as he landed

But June activated her light on her hands and pointed them at Set, which blinded him.

" My eyes ! " He cried in pain

" That's it, June ! Finish him ! " Horus yelled

But two arms appeared from underground and caught June's legs, holding her in place. Set then recovered and raised sand to engulf June.

" Let the sand be your tomb. " He stated before flying away

" Mrs Darby ! " Mr Al-battani called

The sand then began to boil and erupted. June was standing in the middle, a high heat coming from her.

" This idiot forgot you can reach high temperature. " Horus said

" Mrs Darby, are you alright ? " Al-battani asked

" I will live, Mr Al-battani. But I need your help. " June answered

They went inside the curator's office and June showed him the mark on her neck.

" That mark, I know it. During my research, I stumbled upon this old papyrus, which notably showed Set and Horus battle. " Mr Al-battani said, showing her the papyrus " There was also a prophecy stating that Set would return and a new warrior would stand against him. This mark is the proof that you are the one the prophecy talk about. "

" But to fight him, I need to find Horus's spear, which should be in a tomb in the Valley of the Kings. " June explained

" The Valley has been emptied by thieves and archaeologists for a long time. Fortunately, during my own research, I found it and kept it hidden, in my own office " Mr Al-battani reassured her.

He then went towards a locked safe that he unlocked with a key. He then opened it and inside, was a spear with the blade forged in the shape of an eye in egyptian hieroglyph style.

" Yes, that's it ! My beloved spear ! " Horus yelled in joy

( Evening )

The evacuation of the civilians was well underway. But suddenly, mummies emerged from underground and went towards the refugee camps.

" June, it's time to use the spear. " Horus stated

June then let it out from her back and her clothes underwent a transformation into ancient egyptian clothes ( see classic skin Eset in Smite ). Her skin became really tanned and her eyes also changed colors, with her right eye becoming golden and the left becoming silver. She also grew in size until she reached 6 feet 11, muscles appeared on her arms and legs and her curves inflated up to a FF-cup.

She ran towards the mummies and melted two with her healing aura but others, armed with guns opened fire on her but she surrounded herself with her forcefield, which stopped the bullets.

" They're too many of them ! " June yelled to Horus

" Use the spear as an amplifier, June. With it, you'll create a multilateral shock wave. " Horus instructed

June raised the spear and healing light was projected on the mummies surrounding her, which dusted them. Mr Al-battani ran towards her and saw an ancient necklace among one of the mummies remains.

" I recognize those. They are very rare and come from a burial site in the south of the country. And this site is on the grounds Zakaria Aziz was working on. " Mr Al-battani said

" I knew this guy was bad news. I'll go and stop Set once and for all. " June said

" But you'll never make it in time, mrs Darby. " Mr Al-battani protested, only for June to grin at him

" The advantage of having a comic-loving daughter is that you can take inspiration from her books. " June said, before engulfing herself in flames and flying away

" May the gods protect you. " Mr Al-battani prayed

( With June)

June and Horus flew with great speed until they reached their destination. June landed and extinguished her flames. Fortunately, her clothes were intact. Mummies were waiting for her but wearing anti-radiation suit.

" They want to stop your healing aura, but that won't stop your spear. " Horus said

June ran at them and pierced through their suits with her spear and infused it with her healing aura, curb-stomping them all. Then Set appeared and landed in front of her.

" I am done with your interference ! This time, I'll kill you, June Darby ! " Set threatened her, taking his halberd

" How do you know my name ? " June asked, spinning her spear

" Because my body's old host knew you. " Set answered, changing his face into Silas's

The two then began to clash their weapons against one another all around the site but after a few clashes, Set made use of his superior strenght and sent her away with a blast of lightning.

He then slammed his halberd in the ground three times, which made lightning fell, which June avoided before launching fireballs at him which he dodged too. He then flew at her and attacked with his halberd, with June parrying with her spear but Set then seized her and threw her against a wall, and tried to punch her, destroying parts of the wall, but June manipulated her forcefield to form an arm and slammed the god against the wall. She then had her arms surrounded in flames and punched him eight times but he caught the ninth punch and kicked her away before shooting lightning at her.

June protected herself against it and used her forcefield to throw part of a pillar at him, which he dodged and she used this distraction to fly at him and plunge her spear in his side but he retaliated by exploding with lightning, sending June away. She got up and healed herself before Set was upon her and seized her by the neck before electrocutting her.

" After I'm done with you, I will crush that daughter of yours, your friends and every person you ever knew ! " Set madly said

Just after he mentioned Valeria, June felt herself consumed by pure maternal anger. She felt her right eye burning and she looked at Set and a powerful beam of heat was shot from her eye which burned a hole in set's torso and got out of his back.

Set spat blood and glared at her for the last time.

" Curse you ! " He said before falling on the ground dead and crumbling into sand.

" Yeah, yeah, curse you back. " June uncaringly said

She looked around and saw Aziz's site was wrecked. Not that she cared for this.

June was ready to return to the base of the autobots when a light not of hers began to surround her.

" Horus, what's happening to me ? " June asked, panicked

" I know that light, it came from allies but I don't know what they... " He began to say but June disappeared
