Sierra was exploring a cave filled with crystals, without understanding how she arrived here.
" I was in my vacation home and now in that cave. Where is it ? " She thought
As she continued her way, she saw something inside one of the crystal. It was a sword, precisely a viking sword.
" Wow, it is beautiful. " Sierra said, feeling pulled towards the weapon
But suddenly the ground began to quake and the crystals were destroyed and a huge horned creature appeared and tried to seize her. Sierra yelled in fright.

Sierra bolted up in her bed and looked around to see that she was in her bedroom.
" Oh god, what a nightmare. That's a way to start vacation in Germany. " She muttered, getting up.
Indeed, Sierra was on a vacation in Berlin with her parents and her blond friend, Sofia. Even with the unpredicted snow outside, it was pretty good. Seeing on her clock that it was 9 a.m, she got up and went into the bathroom to take a shower. But as she dried up, she noticed, on her thigh that a tattoo was on it, a snowflake.
" What's that ? If my parents see this, they will freak out. " Sierra thought
But as she dressed, she looked in the mirror and saw a blue-skinned woman, with white hairs, dressed in armor with a cloak strapped on her shoulders. Sierra jumped in fright seeing her.
" Calm yourself, Sierra, I don't wish you harm. " The woman said, rising her hands in a peaceful gesture " But could you please close the door ? "
Too scared to disobey, Sierra closed the bathroom's door and came closer to the woman.
" Who are you ? Some kind of ghost ? Or am I hallucinating. " Sierra asked
" No you are not, and I am more than a ghost. Listen close, Sierra. My name is Skadi, goddess of winter, and I am talking to you from the spirit realm. Long ago, with help from other heroes, I fought against an invader from outer space who tried to invade our world. Together, we banished and sealed him far from Earth. " Skadi explained
" Sounds like a bad mix between sci-fi and fantasy. " Sierra snarked
" This is the truth ! And believe it or not, your friend, Valeria Darby, is also concerned by this. For the invader, Megatronus Prime, came from the same planet as her mysterious friends. " Skadi continued
" What are you talking about ? What does Val has to do with this ? Sierra asked
To answer her, Skadi waved her hands and in her place, scenes from the Cybertronian war and Valeria's involvement in it appeared. Sierra watched them in awe and terror. Then Skadi returned.
" Do you believe me, now ? Megatronus is back on Earth and he isn't wasting time. All this cold and snow outside and the mark on your leg are proofs of it. You are my reincarnation, Sierra, this means you received my powers : The cold will never harm you anymore and you can now control ice and snow in any way you want. " Skadi continued her explanation
" But I never asked for any of this. " Sierra protested
" I didn't ask neither but heroes never asked for anything that happened to them. And yet, they do their duty when they must. Megatronus already sent one of his servants here in Germany : The biggest silver-tongued liar of all, Loki. " Skadi insisted " I am just a spirit but I can guide you, help you find my old weapon and become a true heroine to save the world. "
Sierra hesitated for a moment, sighed and looked at Skadi.
" What do I need to do ? " Sierra asked
" Splendid. You just need to touch the mirror and I'll enter the mortal world. " Skadi responded
Sierra did as she was told and Skadi got out of the mirror but she shrunked to the same size as Sierra's head, and glowed in golden.
" What the hell is that look ? " Sierra asked, weirded out
" Do you really think that's the time to talk about this ? " The vexed Skadi asked
( Afternoon )
As much as Skadi wanted to train Sierra, her parents decided to take Sofia and Sierra to the public pool. Because of the cold weather and the snow, they were the only people there.
Sierra's parents and Sofia were already swimming in the indoor pool while Sierra was still putting on her swimsuit. As she finished, she went towards the pool and she gasped in horror : The roof had been ripped off and the pool was frozen with her parents and Sofia inside.
" Mom, Dad, Sofia ! " Sierra cried
" Calm yourself, Sierra ! " Skadi ordered " You can command the ice, remember. "
" Yeah, of course. " Sierra said, taking a deep breath and extending her hand towards the ice.
The ice freezing the pool was absorbed inside Sierra and she plunged into the returned water to bring back her family and friend outside. She engulfed them into towels.
" Are you all okay ? " Sierra asked
The three scowled at her, making her feel dumb.
" Yeah, that's a stupid question. " She admitted
with a sheepish look. " I swear I can explain. "
" Real smooth there, Sierra. " Skadi snarkily thought

And so Sierra had to explain everything to Sofia and her parents. After seeing what happened, they all were ready to believe everything.
" I'm not going to say that I'll like it, sweetie, but we'll be with you. " Sierra's mother said
" Your mother is right, Sierra. And no matter what happen, you'll always be our little girl. " Her father added
"I know you'll kick Loki's ass, Sisi. " Sofia said, before the t.v showed what was happening on the infos.
" Several points in the city were hit by those extreme events. The City Hall was covered in ice in a minute and the rescue teams are still doing their best to free those still inside. Among the victims, there is Leo Fayson, famous environmentalist professor. " The newscaster said, showing a picture of an handsome blond man in a business suit
" That can only mean one thing : We must begin your training. " Skadi stated

Fortunately, with her cheerleading, Sierra had enough stamina to keep up with Skadi's training.
The goddess trained her to slide on the ice she created, to work on her aim, to create complex things with ice and snow and built up her combat skills. Right now, Skadi gave her a break and Sierra went to the mall.
" That's how you spend free time in this period ? How boring... " Skadi complained
Sierra took out her phone and placed it near her ear to not pass for someone talking to herself.
" What were you doing in yours ? " Sierra asked
" We fought then we ate good food. We fought, then we drank fine beer. We fought, then we slept with beautiful lovers. Hell, we fought with beautiful lovers ! That's what it meant to have fun." Skadi answered with pride
" Okay, so not that different from today. But we don't fight as often as you. " Sierra responded
" You made good progress but if you want to be ready to face Loki, you will need my weapon to have a chance. You'll love it, she'll always come cack in your hand should you throw it. " Skadi stated
" And where is it now ? " Sierra asked
" I don't know. " Skadi responded
" You're joking, right ? " Sierra hoped
" No, everything is so different today. I couldn't locate my sword. " Skadi regretfully admitted
" A sword ?! I saw it in a dream. " Sierra remembered
" In a dream ?! Where ? " Skadi cried
" It was in a cave with big crystals. Let's go to the library " Sierra responded
But as the two were on their way, an ice sheet appeared from nowhere and a truck skidded out of control, before crashing on a wall. Its cargo of log of wood fell and some rolled towards children. Not even thinking about it, Sierra erected a thick ice wall on the road which stopped the logs.
" Bravo, big girl, you honor me ! " Skadi cheered
Sierra then went away as they talked about what happened.
" There was frost giant's magic behind that ice sheet. Everything is not a mere climatic problem, this is Loki's doing. " Skadi resumed
" And how are we going to find him ? " Sierra asked
" It will not be easy. He is a trickster, able to take numerous appearence. But we must hurry and find him. There was no victims but it will not last. Do you feel ready ? " Skadi asked
" There is only me to counter him. And like you said, heroes do their duty when they must. So we are going to find your sword and take Loki down. " Sierra stated, with a look in her eyes showing she meant it.
" That's my girl. " Skadi stated with pride

" We're lucky, there are a lot of books on geology. " Sierra said, as she quickly read through books to find
" This whole collection is impressive. In my time, only Mimir and Odin had a lot of books. " Skadi commented
" Bingo, there she is. The cave became a touristic site for fans of geology since it was discovered twenty years ago. Fortunately, it's only forty km from Berlin. Just need a bus ride. " Sierra explained
Sierra then warned her parents, took the bus, and when she arrived, paid for a visit of the cave. She looked around and sought the sword, until she saw it, sealed in a crystal like in her dream. She and Skadi then went to hide inside another corridor and had to wait until all the other visitors and the guide were gone.
" No one in sight, let's go. " Skadi said
" How did they not see that ? " Sierra asked
" After my passing, Odin and Freya hid it under their most powerful concealing spell. Even Heimdall couldn't see it. " Skadi answered
" So what, I just reach for it ? " Sierra asked
" Yes, the sealing spell will turn off. " Skadi asked
Indeed, the crystal holding the sword cracked the more Sierra approached it, until it shattedred and the sword flew in Sierra's hand. The red-haired girl then underwent a transformation : She grew to reach 6 feet 9, muscles grew on her arms and legs, her curves inflated up to a F-size, Her skin was now pale blue and her hairs were pure white and her clothes disappeared to become an armored black sleeveless leotard and her shoes disappeared. And a round viking metal shield appeared in her left hand. But as she looked at herself in another crystal, a spear appeared without them noticing.
" Now that we are prepared, let's go find Loki. " Sierra stated
Suddenly footsteps were heard and Sierra and Skadi went to hide and look. It was a man that Sierra recognized as Professor Leo Fayson, from the news. And not so sick as the news said.
" Perfect, now that the spell is broken, the spear is mine." He said, making Skadi gasp in shock, having recognized the spear
" Oh no. After the first Ragnarok, Freya and Njord hid Odin's spear, Gungnir. But nobody but a god or jotunn can wield it. " Skadi explained
Meanwhile, Sierra put all the pieces together.
" Skadi, I think he is Loki : If you retire the letter E to his name, you get Lofayson. Or rather "Laufayson". " Sierra whispered
" Of course. Let's go. " Skad said, before Sierra got up
" I know you're behind me, girl. " Loki said, turning back and taking the spear then his true form " I should thank you, you broke the spell hiding Gungnir. That means you are the reincarnation of my old enemy, Skadi. "
" You got that right, goat head. And do not try to manipulate me, I wouldn't believe you even if you told me snow is white, god of lies. " Sierra responded, tapping her sword on the shield
" Have it your way. Leiptra ! " Loki said before shooting energy blasts from his hand
Sierra blocked the attack but was still covered in bluish energy.
" It's bifrost energy. Don't be attacked again or it will blow up. " Skadi explained
" Gletting Bara ! " Loki yelled, slamming bifrost energy in the ground, which Sierra avoided by sliding away
She then attacked him with her sword and shield but he tanked the attacks and retaliated with the spear but fortunately Sierra blocked it with her shield. Loki then flew above her and charged an attack.
" Issprengia ! " He yelled, creating a beam of ice, which he directed towards Sierra who sidestepped
When he landed, she attacked him and slammed her sword on the ground, creating a shockwave of Ice which pushed Loki back. He then flew at her and tackled through the roof of the cave, all the while she struck him with her shield. The two then brutally landed in a stadium.
" You're good, girl, but I am better. Soon, the world will return to the ice age and Humanity in the stone age. Desperate, they will turn towards me and venerate me like the god I am. But you won't be there to see it. " Loki boasted
Sierra went on the offensive and slided towards loki who threw a wave of flame in her direction but she ducked under it. He then flew away and slashed Gungnir, creating a wave of Bifrost energy that struck Sierra and sent her back. Loki then flew at her, ready to impale her on the spear but she rolled and slashed at his leg, sending him on one knee. She then got up and slided away.
" Aaarghh ! You little pest ! " Loki yelled, sending a beam of ice
Sierra sent her own beam at him and the two attacks collided, with the two foes trying to push back.
" It's futile to imagine you can win ! Give up and I'll grant you a place in Valhalla. " Loki yelled
" In your dreams ! " Sierra responded
She then threw the sword at him, which Loki dodged, but she recalled it, making the sword cut Loki's arm and he yelled in pain. Sierra's beam of ice then froze Loki by the legs. Skadi's reincarnation then slided towards Loki and impaled him, in the heart.
" Noooooo ! This cannot end like this ! " He yelled, before shattering in ice crystals.
As Loki died, the tempest stopped and the sun pierced for the first time in days.
" Good job, Sisi. You were absolutely wonderful. " Skadi cheered
Sierra then created slide in the air, taking Gungnir with her and went home. When she arrived, her parents and Sofia were waiting for her. As she landed, they all hugged her.
" We don't know exactly what you've done but we are so proud of you, Sierra. " Her father said
( one day later )
The snow was on its way to disappear until true winter returned.
" Well, I guess our vacation will continue on a good note. " Sierra's mother stated
" You got that right, Mom. " Sierra said
But all gasped as Sierra was suddenly covered in light. She then disappeared. Her family was too shocked to say anything.
" My lords, my ladies, why ? " Skadi asked in her head
