As they arrived at Valkyrie's parents house, Alice got out of the car and waved goodbye to Skulduggery and Valkyrie. "Thanks for the lesson," she said, smiling. "See you next time."

Skulduggery and Valkyrie watched as she walked away, feeling proud of her progress. They then got back into the car and drove to Skulduggery's house.

Once they arrived, Skulduggery and Valkyrie settled onto the couch, feeling tired but content. As they chatted, Valkyrie's eyelids started to droop.

"Hey, do you want to sleep here tonight?" Skulduggery asked, noticing her exhaustion.

Valkyrie nodded, feeling grateful. "Yeah, that would be great. I'm too tired to drive back."

Skulduggery led her to the guest bedroom, where she changed into some pajamas and snuggled under the covers. Skulduggery watched her for a moment, feeling a sense of warmth in his chest. He had always felt a deep connection with Valkyrie, and he was glad that they could spend this time together.

As he was about to leave the room, Valkyrie called out to him. "Hey, Skulduggery?"

He turned around. "Yeah?"

"Thanks for everything," she said, giving him a small smile.

Skulduggery got the feeling of his heart skipping a beat. "Of course. Anytime."

He left the room, closing the door softly behind him. As he walked to his own bedroom, he couldn't help but think about how lucky he was to have Valkyrie in his life. He meditated with a smile on his face, feeling content and at peace.
