Jason helped pull Salim up onto the small ledge, a piece of… he didn't know what being held up by a pillar in the center with that fucking moss growing around it. The further they went the more he was convinced this wasn't anything natural. He let go of Salim's hand when the older man had his feet planted on the outcropping, pulling out his lighter that he had used as form of light source while they moved through this hellhole.

It illuminated Salim's face, softening it and making it hard for Jason to pull his eyes away from the Iraqi. He finally did when Salim's eyes caught his, the older man raised his eyebrow questioningly and Jason felt his cheeks beginning to heat up as he looked away.

He missed the smirk that Salim shot towards him as he tried to walk away, noticing the blush that began to creep up the American's face, the older man made a snap decision and reached for Jason.

"What the-" Jason was cut off from saying much more when lips seal over his as he was pushed up against the pillar. His nose was filled with the smell of musk, sweat and spices that Jason couldn't name if he tried to. He should struggle, should put a stop to this but any resolve to do so went out the window when Salim slid the tip of his tongue along his bottom lip, asking for entrance. His eyes closed as he let Salim in to explore his mouth, moaning into the kiss as at the attention the man was suddenly lavishing on him. Jason felt Salim press his body against him, leaving little room in between them.

After what felt like too short a time Salim pulled back to admire the state he'd left the younger man in, lips red from friction, his cap pushed up to where the bill was almost straight up, strands of hair were falling on his forehead and the blush now reaching the tip of the American's ears.

"We should continue on." Salim's statement finally broke Jason from the spell the kiss had placed on him, grabbing his hat before it fell from the back of his head when Salim pulled back. The older man was walking away by time Jason found his voice.

"Where the hell did that come from?!" Jason practically had smoke coming from his ears as he was trying figure out what just happened.

"Something I have been wanting to do for some time, but this is not the place for such a conversation, another reason for us to return to the surface, no?" Salim smiled at Jason's confused expression; his gaze dropping to linger on his lips before he turned again. Jason started following, face still flush from the unexpected turn of events.
