Hello! This chapter almost wasn't posted, because of a near death experience, but I'm alive thankfully, and a bit shaken up and bruised. No need to worry about me. I completely forgot to make a timeline for this, but this chapter explains a lot. This is split into 3 parts 2 Emma and 1 Henry because important stuff goes down, somewhat prob isnt all that important but yk I love that type of scene. Thanks to MysteryFan1997 for help on some of this chapter. please enjoy, thanks for reading.

~~~Emma's POV~~~
I still can't believe that my childhood book characters are here. I grew up reading Divergent, and The Hunger Games. I always imagined myself in the place of Tris and Katniss but here they are sitting in front of me. In Granny's Diner.
But to be fair, I didn't think I'd end up marrying Captain Hook. My younger self would be screaming! Crying even. But only because her imagination of Captain Hook was the one with the perm and mustache.
Honestly, I should've known anything was possible at this point.
My thoughts are taken away from the matter when Henry walks in. He walks over towards us and sits down next to me.
"Morning Mom."
"Morning kid."
He notices Katniss and Tris sitting across from me.
"Who are they?"
"Henry. This is Katniss and Tris. They are new in town."
"Oh really? What was your Enchanted Forest name? Maybe I can help find your story?"
"Enchanted Forest?" Tris says confused.
"Henry. They aren't from there, they are from other realms."
"Oh." He says sadly.
"Look kid, I'll take you to the library later and we can check out their stories alright?"
He nods. We all ordered some breakfast and soon enough the boys came down. I introduced them to Henry, and before long our food came.
Katniss and Peeta scarf their food like they were starving. They probably were considering they came from the middle of the Hunger Games. Tris and Four ate their food slowly savoring every bite.
Eventually, we finished our breakfast. I decided to try and retrace the steps they took to get here.
"Killian, could you take Henry to the library to get the books?"
"Yes, which ones was it again?"
"The Hunger Games and Divergent."
"Right. Come on, let's go get those books."
He kisses me on the cheek and leaves with Henry to the library.
"Alright, can you guys take me to the places you were when you went through the door?"
~~~Henry's POV~~~

Killian and I headed across the street to get to the library. I have had a lot on my mind concerning him.

It had already been three months since Killian officially became my dad. He has been more of one than my real father was, but I still love them both. Recently I've been thinking of starting to refer to him as Dad. As we approached the library, Killian put his arm around my shoulders. It was something he did often, but this time it felt different. It felt like a warm embrace from a dad, rather than just a gesture of affection from a stepfather.

"Are you okay, Henry?" he said softly, sensing my unease.

I took a deep breath and turned to face him. "Yeah, I'm okay. It's just that...well, I've been thinking. You've been more of a father to me than my real dad ever was, and I..."

Killian stopped in his tracks and looked at me. He pulled me into a tight hug, and I felt his strong arms wrap around me. It was a moment of pure love between a father and son, and it made me feel safe and secure.

"I know what you're trying to say, Henry., " he whispered into my ear.

Tears welled up in my eyes, and I hugged him back tightly. I had never felt this close to anyone before. I knew that I could always count on him, no matter what.

As we entered the library Belle looked up at us and smiled.

"Hey! Can I help you?"

"Yeah. We're looking for a few books." I say.

"Oh yeah totally, give me a second."

She grabs Gideon who was asleep in his high chair and she takes him to the back. She comes back without him and stands in front of us.

"Alright, what are we looking for?"

"A book called Divergent, and one called The Hunger Games," Killian says.

"Well, I have no idea if we have it, let me check the system."

She heads behind the desk and sits down at the computer. She types something into the computer before speaking. "Right, section C and section R because it's based on the last name of the author."

"Right then. Henry, you check C, I'll check R."

We split up and began searching for the books. As I walked down the aisles, my mind kept drifting back to Killian. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have him in my life. He had always been there for me, no matter what. And now, with him officially my dad, I felt like I had a real family again.

I finally found the book I was looking for and made my way back to the front of the library. Killian was already there, holding the book in his hand.

"Got it!" I said, grinning.

Belle smiled at us. "Great! You, boys, have fun reading."

As we walked out of the library, a gust of wind blew through the streets. Killian put his arm around me once again, and this time, it felt even more like a fatherly embrace. It was then that I realized that I didn't just want to call him dad, I needed to.

"Hey, Killian?" I said, looking up at him.

"Yes, Henry?" He replied, looking down at me.

"I was thinking...I want to start calling you Dad. Like, all the time."

His face lit up with joy and he squeezed my shoulder.

"Of course, Henry. I would be honored."

We continued walking down the street, and I felt like the luckiest kid in the world, to have a dad who loved me so much. As we arrived home, I couldn't wait to start reading the books. But more than that, I couldn't wait to start referring to Killian as my Dad and have the world know that he was my father in every way that mattered.

~~~Emma's POV~~~
About 10 minutes after they left, The five of us went to go to where they were when she went through this door.
We headed to the town line, and we all got out of the car.
"We came this way," Peeta says confidently.
"Right, let's go, maybe we can get some clues as to how you got here."
We walk in the direction of where Katniss and Peeta showed up. They led us to this big clearing where there was no door.
"What the hell?" I say confused.
My phone buzzes, it's Henry.
"Hey, kiddo. You got the books?"
"Yep. Dad and I are heading back to the house right now and we're going to start reading."
My heart melts but I keep my composure.
"Alright, we'll be back in about an hour. Let him know for me please."
"Ok, bye Mom."
"Bye, kid." I hang up the phone and take a deep breath. "Great. We have a an hout for them to get some information and for us to get some ideas."
We start heading back over towards the road. We stop at the sign and regroup.
"We came from over there." Tris points.
"Right. Does anybody need water?" I say pulling a water bottle out of the car.
They shake their heads no. I quickly take a swig of the water and set it back in the car. I shut the door and we start off in the direction Tris had pointed.
Nothing. Again. This is weird. I text Killian that we found nothing and that we'd be coming back earlier than expected.
"Here, why don't we go to the mayor's office and check in with Regina."
We hop back into the car and head back into town. We get to the town hall and walk inside. I knock on Regina's door.
"Come in!" she calls.
"Regina. You remember them right?"
She nods and waves to them behind me.
"We went to where they were when they went through this door and nothing was there."
"What do you mean nothing was there?"
"There was nothing there Tris said she came through on a train. There was no train."
"Huh."
"Right well, update me if anything happens?"
"Yep."
We turn out the door and we head over to my house. I haven't heard from Henry or Killian since Henry called about forty five minutes ago.
I realized I was traveling around town a lot today. I get to the front door and turn the knob. The only thing I hear is pages turning.
"Hey, we're here!"
Killian and Henry look up from their reading and stand up. They walk over towards us.
"So, did you find anything?" Killian asks, his eyes curious.
"We went to the place where they came from, but there was nothing there," I reply, shaking my head.
"That's strange," Henry chimes in. "Maybe there's something we missed."
"Maybe," Tris says, looking at the floor, deep in thought.
We all take a seat at the table, leaning in towards each other like a huddle.
Henry flips the page to the last page of The Hunger Games. I skim through the page.
"This didn't happen at the end of the book. This happened a few chapter earlier." I exclaim.
"What do you mean?" Katniss asks skeptical.
"At the end, both of you win the games. Look," I start reading from the page, and it just happened to be the cave scene. "All the sudden a light envelops the two and they were never seen again.' That's the end that isn't how its supposed to end. You were supposed to win the Hunger Games, be put into the Quarter Quell because Snow rigged it, and..."
"Huh? The Quarter Quell your kidding right?" Katniss says almost angry.
"Yeah..." I say slowly and cautiously. "There was more that happened but I'm not going to go into that..."
Bitter silence.
Tris breaks the silence. "Maybe that's the key to all of this. The ending of the book."
"I agree," Killian says. "Maybe something happened in that scene that we missed."
I nod. "It's worth looking into. Let's all read through the ending again and see if we can find anything that might help."
We all gather around the table, each of us flipping through the pages of the book. As we read, we start to notice something odd about the scene in the cave. The way the light enveloped them seemed almost supernatural, as if it wasn't just a literary metaphor.
"What if..." I trail off, unsure of how to voice my thoughts.
"What if what?" Tris presses.
"What if there's some kind of magic involved in all of this? Like, some kind of supernatural force that brought Katniss and Peeta here?"
Everyone looks at me skeptically, but then Henry speaks up. "It's not the craziest idea. But nothing was different in Divergent."
"Has the Allegiant been formed yet?"
"That was years ago." Four replies.
"That's why nothing had changed from your book. This happened after the books were done."
"That's true, but we can't discount anything at this point," Killian adds. "We need to consider every possibility."
I nod in agreement. "Exactly. And we also can't forget that this isn't just a coincidence. There's some reason why these two ended up here in our world."
We all sit in contemplative silence, each lost in our own thoughts as we try to piece together the puzzle of their arrival. Minutes pass and nobody has any ideas. Hopefully we can figure this all out before it's too late to get them back.
