Hello author here, this is a revision of my first really hollow story, I hope you enjoy and leave a review :P
Chapter 1: So I'm a Pawn, so what.
*Click* *Click* *Click* several unpronounced clicks could be heard, then several mouse clicks. *Knock* *Knock* *Knock* three knocks could be heard coming from the door. Then a slightly tall man opens the door, and then walks in.
"Hey, you know you've got work to do right?" The man asks a question to someone, he gets no response in return.
"Well I've decided to finally get back to work, and so I have a favor. You know what I'm talking about right." This time he gets a nod as a response.
"Good, since you haven't done your duties in a long time I'm guessing you've been watching it for a while, but can you take care of mine just for a bit? You don't have to do anything much, just make sure it's taken care of and I'll pay you back one of these days." In response he gets another nod.
"Really, thank you." he hands her a strange device.

"Wake up, Oni-chan."
'Uhh' *click* I turn off my alarm clock ready to start the day.
"Mhm, one more minute" a sensual whine comes from the bed sheets. I stare at Rias, her covered form, letting my mind make up for her covered body, a perverted grin spread across my face. Blinking my eyes I glanced back at the bed. The beautiful girl I was staring at was gone, and there was saliva running down my chin. Looking towards the edge of my bed I see my recently shut off alarm clock with 5 more minutes added since I woke up.
"It's already been five minutes!" Ogling Rias's curvy body had wasted me precious time, I had to leave in 55 minutes. Running into the bathroom I rushed through my hygienic morning tasks, leaving the bathroom, I break into my closet and pulled out my red t-shirt, and Kūo uniform. Packing away my homework, I look around for the porn magazine I had bought.
"Matsuda and Motohama are going to love this" finding it and shoving it between folders I head downstairs for breakfast.
"Rias I was going to make the rice".
Walking to the table I sat and waited for my breakfast to be served. I was served an omelet with ketchup strung across its surface. Taking a spoon to the side of the egg, I dig out a clump of still steaming rice with the scrambled egg.
*Fuu-Fuu* blowing my forked food I took a bite of the omelet. "Delicious".
"Thanks Issei" both girls say as they sit down with their food.
I finish my breakfast and head towards the door, where I slip on my shoes and walk outside, I lean against the house as I wait for the girls. Walking towards Kūo I stayed behind the girls. Watching their hair swing side to side as they walk, I take a deep breath and rub my eyes.
At Kūo Academy
"Bye Bucho" we walked into our classroom. I walk towards the rest of the perverted trio.
"Do you have it?" The two asked with very serious faces.
"Ofcourse." I respond with an equally serious look. I take the porn magazine out of my school bag. The rest of the trio stares at the busty babe on the cover.
Matsuda and Motohama fawning over the glorious photo album they didn't notice an equally perverted girl creeping up on them.
'Fuuuu~' Aika blows on the back of Matsuda's bald head, getting a very loud and girl-like response.
'EEYAH' Matsuda shrieks over the ticklish feeling on his head. Issei and Motohama look at Matsuda in surprise. worried about why their friend had suddenly turned so feminine.
"AIKA GODDAMN IT," Matsuda yells.
The girl in question was leaning over a nearby desk laughing her head off. When she looked back at the growling teen she still had tears in her eyes from laughing at his feminine scream. "What's wrong, can't a girl be curious about what you're looking at?"
"Well not this," Matsuda growled.
"Yeah this is sacred," Motohama said with another serious expression.
"Ugh damn perverts," 2 girls on the other side of the classroom muttered just loud enough so the recipients heard exactly what they were saying. Of course the two girls saying this were Katase and Murayama. The two girls most responsible for beating up me, Matsuda, and Motohama on an almost daily basis.
'Ring' the school bell rings and the teacher walks in.
After School
"So Issei, how was your day?"
'kmhnda' with bruises and scrapes across my face, cheeks and lips I let out a noise that couldn't be interpreted.
"Well, my day was great."
knock* *knock* *knock* we got to the door and waited for our summons
"Come in."
Inside the rest of the club was sitting on the couches. While Rias was sitting at her club president desk.
"Good afternoon Bucho, What's the agenda for today?"
"Just some more contracts."
"Great" Doing contacts is so boring, and besides I don't have a familiar yet, I hope I can go again next month. I want to find another slime or something sexy.
I greet the rest of the club as I put my bag down. I get ready for my contracts as Rias gets me the location on my phone.
"See you later," saying goodbye to the club I head out to try and complete some contracts. Even though I trained real hard to defeat Riser and his peerage, I still can't use the magic circles to teleport.
Home
"Finally home" I walked in the front door ready to go eat dinner. Walking past the hallway I walked into the kitchen where Rias and Asia were already finished cooking dinner. I had gotten back so late because a contract had taken a bit more time than usual, and in the end they didn't want a weekly contract. At least I got some money for compensation.
"Oh welcome back Issei."
"Hey, what's for dinner?"
"Chicken and rice."
Yes, some nice chicken cooked by Rias and Asia, I was living the life here. I grinned and sat at the table. Waiting for dinner to be ready I thought of something Ddraig had told me recently.
Flashback
"Fire?" I had questioned Ddraig's remark about Sekiryuutei.
"Yes, fire. All Sekairyutei have been efficient at all types of fire magic, as it is one of the most versatile and destructive elements. It's a skill you inherit from having my soul in your sacred gear. If you can train with it even with your low magic capacity, even you should have great fire power. Many of my past possessors wielded strong fire magic apart from draconic energy from the boosted gear. With the boosted gear's abilities you should be able to boost and manipulate fire with your aura."
"What! That sounds seriously powerful, why hadn't you told me before?"
"It wouldn't have been of any use to you before, with the amount of time you had to train, your fire wouldn't burn that Pheonix much less give him more power to use against you. Because they're made of fire itself."
"But still! Man, I really need to train my fire magic now."
"Indeed, well it's just something to think about anyways, goodbye."
"Yeah, see you Ddraig."
Flashback end
"Here you go," Asia sets a plate of dinner in front of me.
"Thanks," Rias and Asia both sat down right beside me. The food was delicious, the chicken and rice were both full of flavor.
"Hey Rias, Ddraig told me that all Sekairyutei were great fire users, and all Sekairyutei are born with great potential to use it. Do you think I should try to practice with it?"
"You can definitely try."
Issei's room
"Ugh, English sucks!" I was failing to understand a language I spoke perfectly due to being a devil. Man this homework is really giving me a hard time. First biology now this, this is outrageous.
"Damn it, I'll do it later. Besides, I've got something to think about," I need to figure out if I should practice my fire magic? Well it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. I stood up and raised my arm.
"Partner I don't think that is a good idea, a lot of things in this room are flammable."
"R-Right."
An hour later
"Ugh finally my work is finished." I glance towards my clock and see that it's a quarter past 11 pm. Time to get 7 hours of sleep. Then I noticed something strange, wait, isn't Rias gonna come sleep here? Well she's probably busy with her own homework she'll probably be in my bed in the morning. Plus she's a full born devil. Sleep is nice but not entirely necessary. Laying down on my bed I fall deep inside my dreams.
DXD
*Click* a button on a device is clicked and turned on. A subtle hmm occurs as the room brightens up. The device emits a warm glow across the dark room. And a beautiful pale woman with long black hair can be seen holding an incomprehensible device. In the light you could see glimpses of a world. It looked like a map of the stars, and as if every light was a part of the world itself.
Staring at the center of the light you could see many different colors, shapes and bright stars. The woman was focused on one in particular. It had a beautiful red aura with a green lining and golden center. She reached towards the light, smoke could be seen coming off of her hand. She was unable to touch the beautiful light, but the lights around it were not so hot as to burn her skin. She stretched her hand out, and touched the closest star. a crimson star flickered.
The next day
"Wake up you pervert"
'Ugh' I make a grunt as I reach over and turn my alarm clock off. Stretching as I let my covers slip off, I glance towards the other side of my bed.
"Huh" I am surprised to see that Rias isn't sleeping beside me. Turning around I stand up and head inside the bathroom. 7 minutes later I head to my closet and get my same red shirt and uniform. Afterwards I headed down stairs.
It's really strange that Rias wasn't in bed, maybe she's downstairs? Walking past the hallway I see Asia and my mom in the kitchen.
"Good morning Issei-San"
"Good morning honey"
"Good morning" I responded as I sat down to eat breakfast. Today it was scrambled eggs with a side of rice and bacon. It was just as good as yesterday. Apparently Asia had become as good of a cook as my mother.
Finishing my breakfast I yet again headed towards the front door. I put my shoes on and waited for Asia outside.
a few minutes later
"Alright, let's go."
"Yeah, hey do you know why Rias wasn't here this morning?"
"Not really, probably just some devil duties or homework."
"Yeah, probably."
At Kūo Academy
Getting to my class with Asia I sat at my desk. Matsuda and Motohama talked to me for the whole day. It was very similar to yesterday, but I couldn't wait to talk to Rias. The bell rang and class started.
After school
Walking with Asia to the club room, I couldn't help but ask.
"Hey, did you see Rias at all today?"
"N-now that you mention it I haven't seen her all day."
We got to the door and had no choice but to see if she was here.
*knock* *knock* *knock* We waited for a summons, and I gulped the saliva in my mouth.
"Come in" the butterflies in my stomach die off as the voice of Rias soothes my soul.
"Hello guys." Walking in, everyone is sitting in the same spots as yesterday. Then Asia asked the question both of us were thinking.
"Rias why didn't you come home yesterday?"
"Oh that, well today we have a mission from Duke Gremory. We are going to investigate some ancient ruins in the underworld. We have a nearby place to teleport and we're heading there in just a moment."
Rias told us the plan, but ancient ruins, seriously. Why would the peerage of the princess of the Gremory clan be used to investigate ancient ruins. Well whatever, we were ordered to do it so we just gotta do it, nothing new.
Somewhere?
We walked into some forest following some small trail that looked like it had only been used once. I had been watching Rias ever since I saw her. Something is just off, she's being less talkative. I don't know, she just seems more composed and together than usual.
"Hey Issei, what do you think is going on with Bucho?"
"I don't know Asia but something just seems wrong." Yes usually missions are scheduled and composed but this mission has led us into some forest in the middle of the underworld, and we're just supposed to head down some path. Why couldn't we just teleport there. This is really confusing, so I'll try to ask Rias in a bit.
"Issei."
"Yeah?"
"If something dangerous happens will you protect me?"
"Ofcourse."
10 minutes later
After walking for a bit Rias called Asia over towards her. They slowed down and let us pass them. A minute later they caught back up.
"Hey Asia, what did you guys talk about?"
"Oh, nothing." Asia timidly responded
"Oh, ok." Asia is a timid person but she seems little empty, like Rias. I wonder what Rias told her?
"Hey partner, I feel a strong magic presence nearby."
"Yeah we're heading towards ancient ruins in the underworld, of course there's going to be a strong magical aura.
"No, the devils or fallen angels would've noticed these ruins a lot sooner. This is new."
"I'm sure it's no big deal, the duke would never let Rias go anywhere dangerous."
Ruins
"Woah" that's all I could make out at the marvel of an ancient structure in front of us. There were sleek stone slabs making a stairway up to these pillars holding a roof over the ruins. It was enchanting.
"Let's check it out," Rias told all of us. We headed up the stairs, in the center of the ruins there was a circle with a strange design, and above it was a hole in the roof right above the hole. We walked towards the circle. Kiba, Koneko and Akeno walked away looking around the ruins for anything else. Rias put a foot on the circle, then the other foot, then she walked on the circle, Asia went around the other side of the circle.
"Must be nothing," Rias walked across the circle. Her and Asia were on the other side of the circle, Rias took a phone out. Then they started walking off towards the other side of the ruins. Deciding to follow them I stepped on the circle and nothing happened. Following the girls I walked towards them marveling at the building. It was unbelievable that this was built thousands of years ago.
"Ehh." When I stepped on the center of the circle light burst out through the seams. The ground around me started to cave in. I lost my footing, when I looked around I saw Rias right in front of the circle. She was watching me with a phone in her hand. The phone had a pure white phone case, it was emitting a glow onto Rias's face. Although I couldn't see her face, her grin sent shivers down my spine. Falling into the dark void, magic energy surrounds and consumes my body. I fell into the abyss. Consciousness failing I let out a cry of the only thing I could think of.
"R-RIAS?!"
???
An unhuman voice plays as my unconscious body is crashing through a magical dark void.
Unknown visitor detected. Attempting protocol, contacting administrator.
Waiting, Waiting, Waiting,
Administrator contacted. Passage allowed.
Administrator orders received.
Creating new skills.

Ahh finally I got this out. It wasn't too hard or long to work on so I hope I can get one of these out every / every other week, sorry if there are delays. You guys have questions don't you. What are the devices, who was the unnamed woman and man. What happened to Issei, Where / what is ?, etc. I hope you guys guess if you don't already know.
