Marinette sighed, propping her chin on her hands as she listened to one of her sewing lectures she had for homework. Okay, sewing homework was better then regular homework, but it was still homework.
However, she wasn't sure if her headphones were acting up, because she could hear a strange sound in the room. Tikki napped peacefully hidden in her hammock, but she was a quiet sleeper. What was that?
Marinette scanned the room, her eyes landing on Cat's sleeping box. The box was large enough to fit her partner and he loved sleeping and playing in there. However, sleeping was one thing, snoring was another. She paused the video, glaring at the direction of the box. "Could you keep it down?" she asked.
Two triangle black ears poked up, followed by Cat's face. "Mmprh?" He held a stuffed toy mouse, and suddenly it didn't matter how loud he snored. He looked adorable, his one ear flapped cutely.
"You!" she pointed at Cat, setting her headphones down and crossing her arms. Cat dropped his mouse into the dark box and pointed to himself, his green eyes slightly going cross-eyed like a Siamese. Oh, could he be any cuter?
Marinette stood up to prove her point. "Get your butt over here so that I can kiss you." Cat scrambled out of his box, trotting happily over to Marinette. She knelt down on the floor giving his ears and good scratch. "You really don't know how cute you are," she told him, and a loud purr started up.
After a few minutes though, Marinette sighed. Homework was duty of the day, no matter how distracting and cute Cat was. Cat shuffled back to his box, yawning and curling into a small ball, black tail hanging out out the box.
Marinette resumed her work, but she couldn't help grinning whenever she looked at Cat.
