It was sudden.
I don't really remember how it happened.
I was happy. Graduating from High School and preparing for College, I didn't really have any complaints.
That's why I was surprised when I woke up in the body of a very peculiar and annoying manga character, Uzumaki Naruto.
I didn't panic though, not when I woke up in a run down apartment with a different body nor when a special screen popped up in front of me.

There was a flashing light on the bottom right, indicating I had to manually or mentally tell it to move forward.
I took a moment to collect my thoughts. The first thing I did was accept that my life was now different.
The second thing I did was decide how I was going to live this life.
Even thought I read this manga and liked it overall, I never got over my dislike for the protagonist.
The main reason was because Naruto was mentally strong - perhaps too much.
There are way too many people in this world who need a kick up their backside, but Naruto was too naïve to assume that responsibility.
Alright, so here's the gist.
I am Naruto, and I won't be a pushover anymore. I have a system which will most likely help me get stronger, which is good - I hate the idea of training the same way as in the manga. As I use it to get stronger, I will take 'revenge' on everyone who I thought deserved punishment from the original timeline. And lastly, I will take this chance to hook up with some women I thought were interesting.
That being said, I don't want to disrespect the original owner. I'll give this world one last chance.
Imagining the screen to be put away, I opened the door and walked down to the street.
Naruto, your world is rotten.
If even one person acts inappropriately with me, I will stick to my plan. Don't blame me, I'm weaker than you and can't forgive them.
The timeline was that of before the original Chunin exams, so I was still a kid.
As soon as I stepped onto the streets of Konoha, I began receiving looks and remarks that no kid should.
Vegetables, fruits and even stones were thrown at me regularly.
Having had enough, I traced my path back. Not sparing a single glance towards anyone.
Most of them were surprised at my reaction. I guess the old 'me' would've probably cried by now. I was bleeding after all.
Arriving back, I noticed the entrance of my house had writings on the walls. It was much worse than I remember.

Some of the older writings were faded and distorted. Naruto had tried his best to wipe them off with a cloth and keep his house clean from these vulgar claims. But the newer ones were untouched. You could tell that despite wanting a clean home, he had given up at some point. At least they didn't invade the inside.
I slumped down on the bed and brought back the screen.

The two things that caught my interest were Chakra Steal and level of trust.
Level of trust means the system will take into account attributes not limited to physical capability. Maybe Observe will enable me to check these and make my plans more concrete.
Chakra steal is most interesting. So if I sleep with someone, I can absorb some of their chakra. The reason I'm assuming 'some' is because of the 'lvl 1' displayed right next to the skill.
Well, that might be difficult as a kid thought. And I'm not the biggest fan of ingesting blood. I'll have to resort to meditating for now.
One of the hidden skills and perks is most likely related to the Nine-Tails. Accessing his chakra will be paramount in my journey. But I also don't want to make a deal with it so soon.
Anyway, I should go out and explore more. I need to take a look at the characters with my own eyes. As I was thinking that, someone knocked on my door. It was Iruka Umino.
"Naruto! Are you in there?"
Without hesitation, I greeted him with a blank face.
"Naruto, you didn't come to the acad-" His expression turned from angry to worried.
I realized I had forgotten to wash off the blood from the wound earlier. Plus it hadn't even dried up so their was no excuse.
"Naruto! What happened!?"
"I fell down the stairs. I was about to treat it when you knocked." A quick excuse, I didn't really care if it worked because I knew Iruka won't bring up the villagers' issue anyway.
After a few minutes of lecturing and bandaging, I was able to finally roam the town.
I heard the cries of several girls and turned to see Sasuke being followed by a small mob. None of them realized that I was just a few meters from them, except the man in question.
Well, he probably noticed me because of his instincts, I doubt he actually gives a shit. Judging by his expression, the Itachi massacre has already happened.
Speaking of which, I haven't yet decided what I'm going to do with him. If I let him go down the same path, I don't want all the 'promise' shit to fall on me again. But its also a problem if he stays in the village.
Frankly speaking, this body's looks are less than average. I'm sure I can make up for that with maturity and a few tricks but him being there will make things infinitely harder. I want to take as much advantage of Chakra Steal as possible.
The reason for that is one day I'm planning on getting rid of Kurama, so I'll need my own chakra reserves to be equal or higher.
Well, I have a bigger problem than Sasuke right now.
The events of canon will soon commence.
I don't like Hiruzen Sarutobi, heck if possible then I'd kill him myself. The problem is, Danzo would take over if Tsunade isn't brought back. But to bring her back I'll have to deal with the toad sage, another person I don't like.
The Toad's Prophecy is one of the bullshits I'm planning to erase.
Let's calm down.
It's fine. I can think of ways to defeat everyone, given time.
The only one who I think I wouldn't be able to beat even after 100 years is Naruto's father, who is dead.

After exchanging a few words with the shopkeeper, I started eating and ordered the system to play the memories.
Damn, his past is even more messed up than I thought. There's really no saving these people.
As soon as he gained the ability to walk, he was left alone, with just a few Anbu watching him. Harassed from an early age, all Hiruzen did was ban everyone from mentioning the Nine-Tails. The people just started using alternate names like monster and demon.
Well, the past will get its revenge.
I finished the soup and took a secret path.
It had been a year since I read this story, but I still remember even the minute details. The path allowed me to escape from the sole Anbu who was in charge of watching me. To be fair, he was trying his worst to fulfill that mission.
Eventually I arrived on a large enough clearing to practice. The ground was clear but the sky was still covered by the surrounding trees. It was the place where Itachi used to practice. Sasuke won't come here due to trauma, making it the perfect hideout for me.
I took a stick and drew some signs on the ground. They were from my old memory so there was no way to confirm if they were correct, but I had faith.
Now, let's hope I don't die by performing Shadow Clone Jutsu with such low chakra reserves.
