Izuku POV:
I sat at a bigger table than usual in the cafeteria today. Since the whole class wanted to sit together. We chose a big circular table in the left corner of the room. I sat down and the rest of the order was, Kacchan to my left, then Kirishima, Hitoshi, Shoto, Sero, Iida, Uraraka, Tsuyu, Mina, Aoyama, Tokoyami, Momo, Kyoka, and finally Denki to my right.
Most of the group was talking about one thing or another, but I was reading a book about combat techniques. I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone at the moment. Having Uraraka and Iida here made me extremely uncomfortable. So, I didn't want to open up about anything.
"So, I was thinking that we should have a game night in the common room tonight. Since it's the night of our soulmate marks, we can get to know one another better. We can all meet up after dinner." Mina suggested with a huge smile on her face.
"That's a great idea. We can even play Mario Kart!" Kami responded to Mina enthusiastically. I just smiled and looked back down at the book I was holding in my lap.
"Oooo! Yeah! I'll be there for sure! What about you Deku?" Uraraka took her focus from her phone and looked at me. Everyone looked irritated by her words, but I don't think she noticed.
I sighed and tried to keep my calm. Uraraka's past words punching me in the gut like there was no tomorrow. 'Why can't she just tell me she doesn't like me and be done with the fake attitude? I'm tired of pretending to be friends with someone who doesn't actually like me.' My thoughts began to spiral as they kept rolling back around to the words I heard months ago. It hurt me a lot. I still couldn't wrap my head around her actions. What did I do to deserve her hatred?
There was movement in the corner of my eyes, and I looked over to see Kami grabbing my right hand and holding it gently. He stroked my hand slowly with his thumb and I began to relax. I guess my mood can't be all bad. After all, I have Denki right next to me and Kacchan is subtly hitting my shoulder to distract me. Everyone else was giving me meaningful glances to show their support too. I have some amazing friends.
"If Denks and Kacchan will be there, then so will I." My smile was small, but it was there. Although, it almost went away when I saw the withering glare Uraraka had before it quickly went away. Kami gripped my hand a little tighter to show he saw and was going to give the girl a piece of his mind.
"Sweet! Then it's settled! Everyone meets in the commons after dinner tonight and we'll start some class bonding time!" Mina smiled brightly and the bell rang to signal lunch was over.
When class was over for the day, I decided to just head back to my dorm apartment for some relaxation before the get together tonight. I was going to need all of the energy I could possibly get if I was going to be dealing with Uraraka's fake personality. Sighing as I entered the dorm, I threw my bag to the ground and collapsed face first onto the couch. My room was too far away for me to get to in my moment of laziness.
A laugh from behind me made me jump a little and I turned to face Kami. Who was coming into the dorm.
"Someone looks comfortable on the couch. I don't blame you though. Dealing with Uraraka was a pain. I can hardly wait for tonight." Kami smiled and crushed me with his weight as he fell on top of me.
"Ughhh, get off of meee." I laughed at him and pushed him off me.
"You aren't getting away with pushing me off that easily." Kami quickly got up and started to tickle me.
"Stop... haha... I can barely...Haha... breathe..." My smile was so big that my face hurt from it and my stomach hurt from laughing. It felt good to be this happy after the events of lunch.
Denki POV:
I smiled down at Izu as I finally stopped tickling him. He was really cute when he was out of breath. 'I feel like I'm starting to like him and I'm just getting to know him better. There's just something about him that makes my heart beat quicker.'
"Fine. I guess I can let you go for now. Don't expect me to be this nice next time though." I looked at the clock and got off Izuku at seeing the time. "We should go grab a bite to eat before the game night starts. Mina will come find us and drag us into the common room if we even think about being late."
Izuku smiled at me and got up to go into the kitchen.
"I can make us some ramen for dinner if you want. Kacchan said I make the best ramen ever. Don't tell him I told you that though. He gets embarrassed easily. Ah, don't tell him I told you that either. I might be dead before tomorrow if that happens." Nervous laughter left his mouth.
"Don't worry! I won't tell a soul. Except maybe Kiri. Since the two of them are dating. It would only make sense for him to have some blackmail on our dear Kacchan."
Izuku POV:
Kami and I finished our dinner around seven o' clock and quickly got ready to go down to the main common room. Mina texted everyone in the class 2-A groupchat and told us to be there or she was coming to find the missing members. I grabbed a giant blanket sweater that had All Might on it and put it on. If I was going to be in the main common room, then I was going to be comfortable.
When we arrived in the room, I noticed that almost everyone was in here. Mina was the only one missing, and I can only assume that it was because she was getting everything ready to expose Uraraka. I guess I'll just go sit on the couch and play a game on my phone. Kami was quick to follow and took a seat next to me.
Once I was comfy and snuggled up to Kami's side, I took out my phone and zoned in on my game.
Thirty minutes passed by, and I looked up and noticed that Mina was finally here. So, I put away my phone and waited for her to start talking.
"So, everyone is here to have a little class bonding time and to see the soulmate marks once they appear. The first activity I wanted to start off with is the game Truth or Dare. Are there any objections?" I looked around at everyone and no one said anything in objection to her game.
"Perfect! Everyone form a circle in the same order as lunch today! Since everyone was there, it'll be that much easier to form the circle."
Everyone got up to move, but I stayed in my spot not moving. I was sitting on the four-person couch, so I think it'll be fine. Besides, the seating area is formed into a circle in a way. It was more of a rectangle, but who was really asking for the details?
Kami casually wrapped his arms around my right shoulder as he smiled down at me, and I just silently laughed at his not-so-subtle move. 'Oddly enough, it's kind of cute how he's trying to be subtle. I wouldn't mind if he was a little bolder, but that thought can wait for another time.'
"Okay, so, I'll go first since it's just easier at the moment. Then the turns will be taken in the order of whoever gets dared or asked something. Sound fair?" Everyone nodded at Mina's words.
"Uraraka, truth or dare?" She is going straight for the punch. If that was subtle, then I don't know the difference between that and obvious.
Alright, I just wanted to say that I know about some of the grammar incorrections and change them when I can. Since I beta my own work, sometimes I glance over stuff and don't fix it.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter and please let me know your thoughts in the comments! Also, if you notice a mistake before I have had the chance to fix it, please let me know.
