"Alright, Naru-chan here it comes!" Isagi shouted from the corner as Naruto was outside the box. With a quick flick run up, Isagi curved the ball into the box, Naruto ran up for a header, jumping up with his might he headed the ball towards the goal as it hit the top bar and got out of play.
"Damn it!" Naruto cursed, as Isagi ran up to get the ball. "Let's try again." Naruto told his older brother who nodded and went to the corner on the other side. With a quick signal Naruto watched as Isagi curved the ball in this time with more power, Naruto needed to run to the left side of the box as the ball descended too low for a header, so he did the next best thing.
With his left foot, he blasted the ball at the goal, hitting the top bar and bouncing on the line only to roll into the net. Naruto just sighed and went to get the ball, Isagi walked slowly on the sideline as he had his scarf across his neck. "It's getting a little late Naru-chan." he informed his little brother. "But aniki...we just started."
"No we didn't just start, we've been playing for three hours, I'm tired due to the match, if we continue you'll have to carry me." Naruto just sighed. "Alright, let's go home."
The walk back home was uneventful, the brothers just spoke about the match till they arrived at their house. "Where back," Isagi stated as he and Naruto were at the door taking off their shoes. "Welcome back guys!" Hanako Yoichi, a middle-aged housewife, and mother of both boys walked into the passageway wiping her hands with a towel. "You both just got on time, dinner's ready," she informed them, as Naruto had a massive smile.
"What did you cook, today?" Naruto questioned as he took his pair and put them in the cabinet, Isagi followed and Hanako smiled. "I made ramen for us to celebrate," she stated as Naruto beamed at the food. "Yes! My kaa-chan is the best!" Naruto brought Hanako into a massive hug. "You and your ramen, Naru-chan." Hanako was amused her son had such a massive fetish for it.
"Can you blame me?! You're the reason why I am proud to say it's the food of the gods!" Naruto huffed as Isagi smiled, it was nice to see Naruto happy, he just had this vibrant vibe around him whenever he was happy and that just made Isagi adore him more.
Gorou Yoichi, looked over his newspaper to see his family walk into the kitchen. "Hey tou-san!" Naruto greeted his father. "Hi, Naruto-chan, Isagi-chan." the older Yoichi, greeted his children as Isagi made a small wave. "Evening, tou-san." both boys walked around to their side of the small table. Sitting next to each other, Hanako brought their food, placing the bowls of ramen in front of them.
"Dig in." Hanako stated returning to the kitchen. Naruto quickly broke his chopping sticks and dug in, Gorou being curious folded his newspaper and spoke. "So, how was the game, did you win?" This caught Naruto off guard as he almost choked on the food.
Isagi seeing this decided to tell his father. "No, we sadly lost 2-0." he said sternly. "I see..." Gorou just folded his hands together, resting his back on his chair. "Well did you boys play good?"
"We played, alright." Hanako listening in noticed that both his sons didn't want to talk about the game, Naruto hiding his expression by drinking out of the bowl made her know that her youngest was disappointed. Not wanting to keep him dull she decided to lighten the mood.
"Well guess what we did today for you two." she declared catching both of the boys attention, Naruto had put the bowl down being the first one to ask. "What did you guys do?" he asked in curiosity as Hanako had a smile, taking an envelope from the counter she went up and gave it to Naruto.
"Open it." the blond looking at his older brother who was also looking over his shoulder out of curiosity decided to end the anticipation, inside the envelope were flight tickets, four to be exact and the destination was Brazil. "No way! Where going to Brazil!" Naruto shouted as Hanako nodded.
"Your father and I wanted to spoil you two, after seeing how hard you both worked in your studies." Gorou agreed with his wife's statement. "And seeing as we didn't get you both presents for your birthdays, consider this your belated gift. What can I say better late than never."
"Wow thanks tou-san, kaa-chan! You're the best, right onii-sama?" Isagi looked at Naruto and smiled. "Yeah, they are the best. Thanks tou-san, kaa-chan." Hanako giggled. "Oh it's nothing you boys deserve it, now eat up before the food gets cold."
"Hai! Soggy ramen, isn't that nice."
After dinner finished, Hanako washed the dishes as Gorou packed them. The boys were upstairs in seperate rooms, Naruto was currently in his room sitting on the floor as sweat was dripping on his chin. He was in a tough battle right now against Arsenal in the Europa League Final, losing 2-1.
"Come on, guys!" Naruto shouted to the screen as he controlled his team. Isagi had finished taking a shower, getting out of the bathroom, the teen walked through the hallway as he stopped at Naruto's door, busy drying his hair, the older Yoichi saw Naruto fidgetting with his joystick.
Walking in and sitting on the youngster's bed he watched on, seeing the scoreline he had to comment. "You're losing?" he questioned as Naruto grimaced.
"I underestimated, Arteta. His team's been shutting down my attackers, they are making Lautaro look like Lukaku at Chelsea." Naruto informed Isagi. "Maybe you shouldn't have talked smack at your press conference."
Naruto chuckled "Now where's the fun in being a nice guy? Which successful coach have you seen not being confident in his team?"
"That's true, but it seems you've met your match." Naruto just laughed. "Ha! The day Arsenal beat my Inter squad, pigs will fly." Naruto was confident in his team, he had been playing with them for a couple of seasons so he knew how to use them.
"Besides it's the first half, we're approaching half time. I shouldn't have kept Draxler on the bench, for this academy graduate." Naruto stated as the ref blew for half time.
"And that's half time, what about that Alan, you're old team is in front in this final. Do you think they'll win it by the end?" Martin Tyler commentated within the game.
Before Alan Smith could reply Naruto pressed X to be sent to the pause menu. "Why'd you change, don't you want to hear the commentary?" Isagi questioned. "Last thing I need is to hear Alan talk up his team, what I need to do is take out Phillips since he can't handle the pressure." swapping out his graduate for Draxler he switched his formation from 4-4-2 to 4-5-1, with Draxler at CAM.
"Now they're gonna be in trouble." at time Hanako had finished the dishes, standing at the doorway she made her presence. "Now, now Naru-chan. Isa-chan finished showering, it's your turn."
"But kaa-chan." Naruto whinned, "No buts." Hanako stated as Naruto sighed in defeat. "Oh alright, assistant coach Isagi." Naruto turned to his brother as he got up. "Make sure to bring back this baby to the San Siro, our fans will want to celebrate the Scudetto with this one." Naruto gave Isagi the joystick.
"Yes, sir. Our fans will sing all night long." Isagi declared seriously as Naruto smiled and nodded, he trusted his brother when it came to his career, whenever he needed to do something while playing FIFA he just handed the stick to Isagi and he always delivered.
Taking his toiletry bag the blond went to the bathroom. "You need me to wash your back?" Hanako asked as Naruto turned with a deep blush. "MOM!? I'M A TEEN NOW, I DON'T NEED YOU TO DO THAT!" he declared as Hanako laughed. "I'm just kidding, just a little humor." Naruto just shook his head. "Well, I'm going to take a shower." he sounded less motivated.
Hanako watched as the blond closed the door behind him, about to walk down the stairs she then heard Martin Tyler shout out of the tv speakers.
"AND IT'S A GOAL FOR ARSENAL! SCORE'S NOW 3-1."
"Did you just score, Isa-chan?" Isagi turned to his mom with a nervous expression. "Yeah, I scored, kaa-san," he stated. "Okay I'm sure Naru-chan will be happy," she commented returning downstairs. 'He's so not.' Isagi thought.
Naruto finished his shower rather quickly as he heard Martin Tyler say "It's now official." Arriving in his room towel wrapped around his waist and hair drenched, he saw Isagi looking nervous. "Did you win?" he asked as he turned to the tv to see Arsenal lift the Europa League.
"It was a hard-fought game," Isagi stated as Naruto fell to the floor. "NO!" he shouted in pain. "The...double...it's ruined," he stated as Isagi spoke up. "At least we won the league." he tried to lighten the mood. "Without the Europa League, my continental success streak is broken! This was going to be the third time!" he declared. "Sorry," Isagi stated as he returned to the playing screen.
"You got a message from the board," he informed the blond as his inbox had a new message, Naruto just got up and went to his wardrobe. "Read it to me." the blond wanted to hear the news. "Dear Manager Naruto Mourinho, we of the board are proud of you accomplishing some of our expectations and we'd love to keep you at the club for next season, sincerely the board of directors." Isagi finished reading the message.
Naruto just sighed in relief. "At least I still have my job," he stated since he hadn't done all of the board's objectives, the only one that was accomplished was winning the league, so if he hadn't done it, he was most likely getting sacked.
"So what's next on the schedule, onii-sama?" Naruto asked as he wore his pajamas.
"The Copa America is starting." Naruto beamed as he sat next to his brother. "This is you're second chance onii-sama, to make Naruto Mourinho a legend we must win the Copa America with Uruguay, it's going to be a tough battle so I need to know if I can trust you to not fumble this chance right?"
"This time we'll win, Naru-chan," Isagi stated as Naruto huffed. "We better, in the last one I lost to Brazil 3-1." Naruto watched as Isagi went to play the first game. "Isa-chan! Can you come downstairs, I forgot to give you your letter." Isagi got up and gave Naruto the joystick. "I'll be right back." he told his little brother who started the game.
"No need to rush, you'll get the second half." Isagi nodded as he went downstairs. "Who's the letter from, kaa-san?" Isagi asked as Hanako approached him. "It's from the Japan Football Union." she stated giving Isagi the letter, who seemed surprised. What did the Union want from him? Opening the letter he was surprised by what it said.
"So what does it say?" his mom asked. "It says I've been selected to be a certified athlete."
"Is that a good thing?"
"I also don't know, they want me to go to this building after school. They also want you to sign this consent form." he handed his mom this page that was attached on the letter which his mother analyzed. "Do you want to go?" she asked as Isagi hummed. "Sure why not, couldn't hurt to see what up."
Hanako nodded as she signed off the form handing it back to Isagi who returned upstairs. "Night kaa-san." he stated as he went in his room. "Onii-sama, come quick I'm losing!" he heard Naruto's voice from his room, getting of his bed he went next door to see Naruto losing 1-0. "I need my right hand man for this one." he stated as Isagi chuckled. "So the great Naruto Mourinho needs the help of Isagi Guardiola, huh?"
"Don't get too cocky, I just need to go to the bathroom, and consider this your second chance." Isagi chuckled as Naruto gave him the joystick. "Watch a bit you might learn somethi-"
"It's a goal for Venezuela!" Martin Tyler commented.
"Onii-sama!" Naruto shouted annoyed as Isagi chuckled "My bad."
