Do you know how hard it is to organize a beach day for eight hunters in training? How about eight hunters in training and two parents? How about eight hunters in training, two parents, two siblings, a relative by marriage, and a nephew?
The answer is very difficult.
She had resisted visiting the beach herself until she could get everyone together, but she could not say the same for the others. Ren and Nora had decided to have a date down there, walking the length of the beach under the shattered moonlight. It was a bit cliché if you asked Weiss, but Nora came back to the house floating on air so who was she to talk? Blake claimed to have only visited a beachside café, but the sand so thoroughly entrenched into her sandals and hair said otherwise. Ruby even dragged her father to go on a reef tour and scuba dive. Ok, that one is technically the ocean, but it's the principle that matters! But by far the worst offenders were Jaune and Yang.
They had made a workout routine as she suggested, but part of that routine was a set of water exercises every three days. Weiss suggested using the Sanctum Academy pool but Yang had insisted that the shifting sand would be more practical for the real world and help with balance training. She couldn't fool her though, Yang just enjoyed the attention. It did not take long for the locals to figure out the pattern, and every time it was time for water exercises the beach got busier and busier.
So when she finally managed to organize a full day at the beach where everyone could make it on the thirteenth day of her vacation, she was not in the greatest of moods. She knew she was being foolish, that is why she never really brought up her desire to save the beach for when they all had a full day. She knew it was impractical for her to waste so much of her time dedicated to this singular, inconsequential goal. She knew that in an hour at the very most she would not even remember why she was upset to start with, but she had always been that way. Once a plan was made it must be followed, why couldn't everyone understand that?
As she sat on the couch she decided to distract herself by seeing what everyone had chosen to wear for the day as they finished dressing themselves. She herself had decided a tasteful white one-piece would be more than enough, her partner however was wearing a full wetsuit. Whether this was out of shyness or if she enjoyed it Weiss couldn't tell. Blake was wearing brown shorts with a loose purple tank top over what she assumed to be a purple bikini. Her mood was already improving, seeing this was one of the days that Blake forgo her bow. It was still a rare sight, Blake still felt that she needed it most of the time, but the longer they spent together, the more she felt comfortable taking it off. Any progress, no matter how small, was still progress.
Yang was wearing the same bright orange bikini she had been wearing during her workouts. Why did it have to be so small? Weiss knew for a fact they made swimwear her size, this was just showing off. 'She does realize her dad is walking down those stairs any minute, right?'
Nora had convinced Pyrrha to wear matching skirtinis, Nora's pink with red polka dots and Pyrrha's reversing the color scheme. Though it seemed that Pyrrha didn't have the same confidence as Yang or Nora, as she was wearing a thin unbuttoned shirt over her assemble. Saphron and Terra were wearing modest blue and green swim-dresses, and they had put little Adrian in the most adorable little green bathing suit with blue turtle decals. Mrs. Nikos seemed to share her daughter's shyness, wearing a gold tank top over her bathing suit with a thin black shirt tied around her waist.
The men of the group were considerably less colorful. For a world so obsessed with expressing one's individuality, male swimsuit variety was virtually nonexistent. It was a given that they were all wearing swimming trunks and nothing else, but what was a little more than off-putting was the fact that with zero coordination between the four of them, they all managed to pack and wear the exact same color trunks. What was even more concerning was the fact that they seemed so excited about it once they noticed, even Ren looked more awake than usual. Whitley seemed to be the only one as confused as she was about the whole situation as he was dragged off by Taiyang to take photos of the occasion.
Men; creatures so simple that they looped right back around to being perplexing.
The walk to the beach wasn't much of a walk, Winter's home had easy access to a set of concrete stairs just a small way behind it that lead straight to the sandy shore, but it could have been a twenty-mile hike and Weiss would have thought it was worth it. The crystal-clear water lazily lapped against the white sand and the blue sky had just enough cloud cover to prevent the sun from blinding them with absolutely no risk of rain. The fresh air filled her lungs as she stopped to let it all in. They were finally here.
They spread out just a bit to have some privacy but were still close enough to keep a certain section of the beach just to themselves. A rainbow of towels and umbrellas soon decorated the water's edge, a temporary claim to the land but one most civilized people would respect. It didn't take long for the fun to begin after that, sunbathing, swimming, splash fights, everything one would imagine a beach would entail. It was perfect.
Weiss and Ruby had decided to swim a little further into the water than the others, it seemed her partner had become obsessed with exploring the sea floor and playing with the fish that weren't scared of her. Weiss guessed she could understand, she had always wanted to pet a shark. While making sure the redhead came back up for air regularly, Weiss relaxed and lazily floated in the cool water and watched her friends enjoy their day. Tai and Saphron seemed to be getting along, together they were setting up a grill and a couple of foldable tables. It was only ten and she was already drooling over the thought of a burger, maybe if she asked politely he would make her an extra large one.
Yang had rounded up Blake, Nora, and Pyrrha for a game of volleyball in the shallow waters with Terra as the referee. 'When did she even have time to set up that net?' She couldn't hear the score from her distance but it looked like they were having a good time. Ren and Mrs. Nikos seemed to lure Whitley in for a game of bag toss and Weiss was just happy to see he was putting in some effort.
After their talk things had been stagnant between them. True to his word he had stopped fighting her at every turn, but they had grown so far apart that neither one of them really knew where to go from there. She noticed he gravitated towards Ren, perhaps relating to the taciturn young man's more quiet nature. Maybe she could ask about his book collection? That was a quiet hobby right? Deep in thought, she was startled back to the waking world when Ruby resurfaced with a huge splash, "Look Weiss, a Conus Gloriamaris!"
Those were certainly words that came out of her mouth, though she supposed she was referring to the seashell she was waving around in her hands. "That's great Ruby. Hey I was about to head to shore anyway, why don't you give it to me and I'll put it somewhere it won't get lost." Getting a wordless smile as a response, she was tossed the shell as the reaper plunged back into the water. 'I should get her some books on underwater creatures and land formations for her birthday next year.'
As the white-haired girl slothfully backstroked toward the shore, she took notice of Jaune for the first time since they left the house. At first she thought he was alone, isolating himself from the others, but then she noticed the smile on his face. Even with the distance between the two that smile was almost blinding. Upon closer inspection, she could easily understand why, he had the honor of playing with Adrian while everyone else was busy. The adorable little baby bean seemed to be trying to make a sandcastle with his uncle's help but was only creating little more than a pile of sand with some plastic flags poking through. That was ok though, it was perfect as far as Weiss was concerned.
She was about to continue her swim, but she found that she could not look away from the Arc. He was just being so gentle with the child. It was not the first time she noticed this behavior from him, she saw it with his sister as well, and whenever she managed to persuade him to journey into town with her. An extreme sense of caution to his actions, as if the world and the people in it were made of paper. She knew he was strong, even without aura he had the body of a pro athlete, however she never witnessed this amount of attentiveness from the others, or at least not to the same extreme. It was certainly an attractive trait, she had to give him that. 'Wait, what was that?'
Before Weiss could examine her thoughts more closely, she caught the eye of Saphron Arc. She had that same grin from before on her face, and though it was far away she knew she was being given a 'knowing' look. Weiss just wished she knew whatever it was that Saphron knew. Shaking her head at the strangeness that came with the Arc family, she continued her delightful little swim back to the beach and found a spot to put Ruby's new shell.
Weiss was currently laying down on a towel, enjoying the shade of her umbrella, or at least she was trying to enjoy it.
At high noon the beach was getting a tad too crowded for her liking. It still wasn't super crowded, Winter's house was far away from any real tourist destination, but that made it worse for her. It was the fact that people were making the travel to be near them that bothered her. To think of coming this way meant these people were all locals or part of Yang's new fan club. 'Thanks a lot Yang, now the rest of us have to deal with being ogled at all day because you couldn't use a pool.'
It was nothing new to Weiss, she had been the center of unwanted attention for as long as she could remember, but being stared at with eyes that did not see you would never not be disgusting. 'Maybe Ruby had the right idea with the wetsuit?'
Although, one did not grow up in that environment without procuring a set of useful tools, and Weiss liked to think that she had perfected what she affectionately referred to as the death stare. It certainly sent many a young boy in Atlas away at least. She slowly sat up from her spot, being careful not to bother Nora who had taken to sunbathing just outside the umbrella's shadow, turned her head and gave out the nastiest look she could muster.
Or she would have if her concentration had not been broken. It turned out that the crowd slowly inching towards them were not young boys and creepy old men coming to gawk at the young huntresses in bikinis. Instead, it was a crowd of young girls and creepy old women coming to ogle the young shirtless hunters.
That… that wasn't better!
Weiss' earlier disgust at the situation had been replaced with anger. How dare these harlots leer at their boys like they were pieces of meat. It was one thing to look, to appreciate, but these floozies were practically undressing what little clothes they had on with their eyes with no shame whatsoever. The older women at least had some amount of sense to make themselves look busy, but the teens! These teenage tramps were just standing there, staring at them without a single care in the world. Even her brother was pulling in some looks from the younger girls in the pack. Weiss saw one of them lick her lips as Whitley bent over to pick up something off the ground and something in her mind snapped.
She practically growled like a Beowolf as she stood up from her towel, deep and low enough that Nora woke up, confused but ready for a fight. Wordlessly she marched towards the house with full intentions of bringing out Myrtenaster but her steps faltered at the sight in front of her. Jaune was standing there talking to four of these harlots. TALKING! No stuttering, no backtracking every third sentence, direct eye contact, confidant stance, everything. Where was her Jaune Arc, the boy she considered to be her friend, a shy, nervous boy one who treated the world around him like it would break?
And why did she even care? If Arc wanted to indulge in the attention of random girls who did not even know who he was that was his choice. But there was just something about the looks in these girls' eyes that made her shudder. It wasn't just lustful, it was predatory. Whenever his eyes turned to one of them, the other three would drink in his form as if they had just found an oasis in a desert, and the way they were finding excuses to put their greedy little hands all over his arms made her want to throw up. There was another problem, a small part of her just refused to believe that Jaune was that kind of guy, that he would enjoy this kind of lecherous examination of his body.
As soon as she was close enough to make out words, she heard what she assumed to be the lead bitch asking, "Yea we were all hoping to take the boat into the water today. My dad helped get it on the roof of the car but we underestimated how heavy it was. Such a shame really, we were really looking forward to enjoying the reefs. Much too far for us to swim there and back you know?" Oh please, she was putting on such an exaggerated sultry voice it was borderline parody. Who would possibly fall for such a thing?
"I could help, wouldn't be a problem at all."
'Are you for real right now Arc?' This had to be some misunderstanding. Right? As the newly formed group started towards what she assumed to be the nearest parking lot, Weiss was conflicted. On one hand, it wasn't really any of her business what he did with his time. If he was not hurting himself or others it was hardly up to her what he was allowed to do. On the other hand, there was just something about these girls, the looks they were giving each other, the way they would not stop touching him, there was just something more going on but she couldn't place her finger on it. It was only when the two girls in the back of the group managed to tear their eyes away from his backside long enough to give each other a grin that her decision was made.
She quickly looked back to make sure everyone else was ok before she ran off, but she need not worry. Ruby had trapped Blake and Whitley into a showcase of all the underwater treasures she brought up from her miniature expedition. That would keep them busy for a while at least. Nora seemed to be the only one of their group who noticed the same things she did and was now forcing Ren to give her an indefinite piggyback ride effectively staking her claim while at the same time not arousing any suspicion from the others. And while she doubted Mr. Xiao Long needed any protection, she was glad to see he was enjoying his day with the married couple. Though the sight of the man holding a sleeping Adrian was almost enough to distract Weiss from her mission.
With a small nod of approval, she quickly followed after the knight and his kidnappers, making zero effort to be discrete.
The hike to the nearest lot wasn't a long one by any means, but it was more than enough to separate them from their friends. Weiss could just barely make out the large mane of Yang's hair from this distance. It shouldn't be suspicious, this was the nearest lot after all, but she just could not shake the feeling that something was wrong.
Her attention was brought back to the matter at hand when the girls let out yet another burst of fake laughter at something he said. She rolled her eyes, praying for this to end soon, but she noticed at that moment even Jaune looked a bit confused at how hard they were laughing. Maybe he was finally catching on to the situation he was in.
When they finally made it to their car Weiss stood just a few spaces away from them but made no effort to hide her presence either. She didn't seem to need to, the trollops' attention never seemed to leave the blond while his attention seemed fixated on the boat strapped to the roof of a van. He stepped forward to undo the first strap he could reach, unconsciously flexing his shoulders and back.
Once again, the one she assumed to be the leader placed her grubby mitt squarely on his back, startling him, "You know, instead of boating there is something else we could all do today. A lot more fun too if you ask me."
Turning around he seemed confused, "Oh, so should I just leave this here then?" Well that settled one of her suspicions. Jaune wasn't the kind of guy to… do that with total strangers. Unfortunately, this also confirmed something their group had known for a long time. 'My Gods you are dense Jaune!'
They didn't let this slow them down any, unlikely they were really listening to him anyway. "Why don't you ride with us to my place, I'm sure the four of us could show you a great time there." Oh, she was going to be sick.
She saw the click in his eyes when he finally understood what was going on. His body language changed entirely as well, not necessarily nervous, but much stiffer and more careful than he was previously. "I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass on that offer. I can still get the boat down if you need me to, but after that I think I'll rejoin my friends."
"Friends?" It was one of the lackeys that spoke this time, "Oh, you think you could get the cute guy with the black hair to join as well? I'm game."
Jaune spoke slowly as if he was talking to a child. "I am sorry if I had misled you, but I am not interested. I will be going now."
The hands on his arms moved to his chest, "Oh don't be like that, I'm sure the four of us together can be more fun than any of those girls back there." As she talked her hand slowly started going lower, but before it could get past his abdomen Weiss had enough.
"I believe he said he wasn't interested." It was taking all of her willpower not to scream at them. "Now take your hands off of him."
The leader looked her over, whether she recognized her as a threat or as one of his friends she couldn't say for certain, but after only a small moment she relented. "Whatever, your lose boy scout. Unlikely you will ever get this opportunity again."
As soon as they were out of earshot, she turned to her friend, "You holding up alright? I am sorry I didn't speak out sooner but until then they technically weren't doing anything wrong."
For his part he just looked confused about the entire ordeal. "Oh, I'm fine I guess. It's not like they attacked me or anything." He tried to flash her a smile, but it wasn't as wide as it should be.
"Jaune, you know you can talk to me right?" She almost went to touch him, to ground him and offer comfort with her presence, but with what just happened that seemed like a bad idea. "It's ok to feel wronged, even if what or who wronged you didn't legally do anything wrong. They should have stopped after your first refusal."
He took a deep breath before letting out, looking at her with a much more relaxed expression, "Mind if we walk and talk?" Of course she didn't, whatever made him more comfortable was ok right now. It took until their feet started hitting sand instead of concrete for him to start again, "I'm not hurt, seriously. Even if you hadn't shown up, I don't think it would have gone much further than it had. Maybe some more touching but that's it. They were just some young girls at the beach, not back-alley criminals looking to hurt someone." She did not necessarily agree with him, but at the same time he did have a small point. They weren't dangerous, just some harlots who have never been told no before. "I guess I'm just more confused than anything."
"What are you confused about?" There wasn't really much to be confused about, but perhaps all he needed was a soundboard to organize his thoughts. She could be that for him at least.
"Why in the world would they pick me?" Or maybe he was just dense. "I mean, there are plenty of guys out today, just doesn't make that much sense."
'Oh, right. The self-confidence issues. I still need to set up that team meeting.'
Not knowing how to navigate this, she decided to just tell him the truth. "Well, you certainly cut an attractive figure, especially shirtless." The shocked look he gave her made her continue, she would hammer some confidence into him if she had to, "You are tall, well groomed, broad-shouldered, fit but not bulky. It is an objective fact Jaune, you have become quite the looker since your first days at Beacon."
His face was as red as the purest crystal of fire dust, "I, umm, thank you. I guess."
Weiss was starting to feel her cheeks heat up as well, but she had a job to do and she wasn't about to leave it unfinished. "I'm glad we got that straight. Now, anything else you are confused about?"
He stopped walking, it was obvious from the look on his face he was questioning if he should even say what was on his mind. Some small part of her was filled with pride when he decided he trusted her enough to say it. "I guess I'm also confused as to why I seem incapable of picking up on these kinds of signals. I mean, remember when Pyrrha had a crush on me?"
Unfortunately she did, that had to be the most awkward two weeks of her life. She only heard tidbits of the actual event, but from what she gathered Pyrrha had finally got the courage to tell Jaune how she felt about him after the dance, but Jaune confessed to her that he only saw her as a friend. They managed to put it behind them, but in the meantime, you could cut the tension between them with a knife.
"I lived in the same room as the girl and I couldn't put two and two together. I know I'm not the smartest guy in the room, but at some point I have to wonder if there is something wrong with me."
Weiss was at a loss here, as far as she was concerned the boy needed professional counseling, but saying such a thing at this moment may do more damage than good. But she didn't want to lie to him either. "I grew up learning both how to read the thoughts and desires of other people by their expressions and how to hide my own, so I tend to see more than people actually wish to share with me." It was only for an instant, but she swore she saw fear flash across his face, "But even I miss things that are obvious to other people. I missed Blake being a faunus while others knew from just a single glance, I missed Ruby's desire to be accepted and mistook it for childishness, and so on and so on.
"What I am trying to say is that no one can truly know what others are thinking unless they say it out loud. My advice? Do not worry about missing signals, and just keep listening when people talk to you." She couldn't help but give him a hopeful smile, "You already do a wonderful job with that."
At two o'clock Weiss was starving. After the long day she had she could not wait to get some food in her stomach. Unhealthy, seasoned, hot food with plenty of barbeque sauce.
Once the two made their way back to their claimed section of the beach they were pounced on by the others for disappearing like they did. Jaune didn't seem to want to talk about it so Weiss kept quiet out of respect, only promising to bring her scroll next time she took a walk. It seemed that Saphron was better at reading her brother than the others and dragged him to the house with Terra to talk. Judging by the murderous shriek they heard not long after, Jaune had decided to tell them the truth.
She trusted the older Arc to handle Jaune, for now, it was time for burgers, hotdogs, potato chips, mashed potatoes with plenty of butter, all the unhealthy food she could ever want. Weiss was about to join the rest of her friends crowding around the grill waiting to be served, but when she spotted Whitley sitting at one of the tables by himself her feet had already changed directions. If nothing else Ruby would bring her something.
Taking a seat across from the youngest Schnee, Weiss decided it was time to put in the effort. "Hello, Whitley."
"Sister."
And she was lost again. How could she have let them grow this far apart? This shouldn't be so hard. "How have you been enjoying the beach so far?"
"It has been alright. A tad crowded though." She had to agree with that. After they had gotten their eyeful most of the onlookers turned to enjoy their own beach time or left to go somewhere else, but Weiss was still too irritated by that group of four to pay that much mind. Would the others question her if she used dust to create a privacy fence? "I must admit, I prefer the cold of Atlas over this heat. I do not understand how people can live here all year round."
"I do miss the cold sometimes, but lately I have grown to appreciate company more than climate. Who knows, now that I have longer to plan maybe next summer I will take them somewhere back home." It was unlikely, too much baggage and a very jarring change in weather would deter most of her friends from accepting the offer, but it was a nice thought.
It was obvious that he was still getting used to not having his mask on, it seemed as if it was easier for him to stow away his emotions that show them, but he was still letting her hear him through his voice, "I am afraid I do not have that luxury here. The only ones I would call my friends are still back in Atlas."
She wanted to hold his hand in hers, to show that she was there for him, but he had told her he wasn't ready for physical affection and she would respect that, "I know that these are all my friends, but I am sure they would happily accept you as well." She so desperately wanted them to get along, and not just be cordial to one another, "Once you get past all the lame jokes Yang has one of the most nurturing personalities I have ever seen, Blake… actually let's save Blake for later." That was a landmine that had to be very carefully disarmed, and she felt they were both far too early in the healing process to tackle it.
"Ruby is always in the market for new friends, and if she could deal with my roughness, she can deal with yours. Nora may attempt a kidnapping at some point," At that he sat up straighter, growing tense and ready to run, "Sorry, that was the wrong choice of words. She may drag you away to go shopping or to go eat with her at some point." Weiss was so used to Nora's extreme personality she forgot that most people would be off put by how she acted. "And Pyrrha is just the sweetest person you will ever meet. Just don't ask for her autograph, it makes her uncomfortable." She couldn't help it, how could she not gush over how incredible her friends were? Hopefully, he would see them for how wonderful they were as well before this summer ended.
"I am still not sure about them. You know how it is, having people pretend to like you one too many times to trust." She did, it was a painful experience that you never got used to. That was probably why she was so attached to RWBY & JNPR. They would die for her, and she would do the same for them without question. "Especially women."
To say Weiss was shocked was an understatement. Did he really feel that way? Was it because of her and Winter? Did their father push those views into him? Was it mother's drinking?
Seeing the shocked look on her face he spoke quickly to defend himself, "No. No that is not what I meant. I guess…" He looked down at the table, his mask once again completely off. He was carefully choosing every word, taking his time to make sure he got it right. That was ok, Weiss would give him all the time he needed. "I was recently burned by someone." He looked back at her, "I thought I found someone, we started a romantic relationship. We were doing ok for a few months." She had never heard of this, she would have been delighted if she didn't already know how this story was going to end. "I tried to be spontaneous and surprise her with flowers and tickets to the opera, but before she knew I was there I heard her talking to her friends about how I was so oblivious to the fact she only wanted the Schnee fortune in her future."
She wanted to demand a name, to know who she had to stab to make the world better. She had never felt this protective over her brother, it was a strange feeling. But at the same time it felt right. "Anyone I know?" Discretion would win her the info she sought.
One look at her and he laughed, "No, no one you know. And you are not getting the name either, I would prefer this to remain a private affair." After taking a moment to calm down he continued, "I apologize for my earlier statement, it was uncalled for. I will be sure to remind myself that they are not her."
"If you are still feeling hurt, there are always the boys. I've noticed you have gotten along with Ren, or at the very least he does not mind your company. And while I don't know him too well, Tai has raised two of my best friends so he cannot be that bad." She paused, not sure how to describe her last friend to her brother. What were the right words to use? "And Jaune, he would be willing to help you out with whatever you asked."
Whitley stared wistfully at the ocean, "I never did learn how to swim. No real need for it in the tundra of Atlas."
The conversation lulled after that. Not an uncomfortable silence, but not comfortable either. Suddenly she realized this was her chance to be the big sister she was supposed to be. Big siblings teased younger siblings about this very thing all the time, and now it was her turn. Giving him what she hoped was a sly smile, "So, little Whitley is into the ladies now is he?"
"If you are asking about the latest relationship I have had then yes, she was a woman. Though I would be lying if I said the idea of a man displeased me." That… wasn't as fun as she hoped it would be. Perhaps she should ask Yang for advice on that front.
The setting sun would never lose its wonder in Weiss' eyes. While the others were setting up a fire to roast marshmallows on, she took her time to relax and think of how well today went, regardless of the single snag along the way. After their late lunch, she watched Whitley approach the blond hunter and ask him a favor. The rest of her day had been spent between playing with Adrian alongside Terra and watching the group of men band together to teach the white-haired boy how to swim. Honestly, she couldn't decide which activity contained the more adorable scene.
But as of now, everyone had more than their fill of swimming and were all relaxing on the sandy shore, waiting patiently for the fire to rise enough to give them their last sweet treat for the day. The Rose Long family were all leaning against each other, Ruby looking as if she was barely holding on to consciousness, while Yang and her father talked quietly amongst themselves. The Cotta-Arc family had left for the night, it was beyond Adrian's bedtime and they had to work the next day as well. Weiss felt bad, having forgotten that they weren't really here on vacation like the rest of them. Whitley was sitting next to JNPR, listening as Jaune played some light music on his guitar. Well, that was as good a place to sit as the next now wasn't it?
She tried to enjoy the music, she really did, but to her professional ears all she could hear were the missed strings and the slightly delayed beat every ten seconds or so. She didn't want to insult him for it though, he was just trying to entertain his friends after all, so she decided to start a joke instead. "No serenading tonight Jaune? Certainly, this would be a much better setting than the Beacon hallways." She tried to make it as obvious as she could that she was joking, it would hardly be appropriate to make him think she was still holding a grudge over such a thing.
It was Whitley who spoke instead. "Serenade?" Turning towards Jaune he continued, "In a school of warriors who would you possibly be trying to woo with the arts?"
Yang came walking towards them, a bag of fluffy candy in hand, "Oh you poor, poor child. Let me tell you of the tale of Lady Killer's romantic life, or lack thereof." And so it began, Yang exaggerating every detail for comedic effect, and even Jaune was playing along, giving additional details even she never heard before.
The burning of his cheeks combined with the laughter of their group, now that was music to her ears.
Author's notes;
Can yall tell I don't live in a beach town?
Never look up RWBY beach on deviant art. Wanted a reference pic but that was a really really bad decision.
This turned out a lot longer than I had originally planned, a lot of writing and rewriting went into this one so sorry if it seems all over the place.
As always comments and reviews are appreciated, helps tell me what I'm what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong. Also I just enjoy getting them.
