2 years and 3 months ago:
It had been a normal friday for Harry.
It was outdoor time and Harry had been hiding from Dudley and his gang.
He did this almost everyday.
Most of the time, he hid in the bathroom from them, but not this particular day. He had tried to hide there at first, but sadly a friend of Dudley had stood in front of the sink.
He ran out as fast as possible, hoping the boy didn't see him, he decided to hide in the bushes in the corner of the playground.
'Potta,' A annoying voice filled Harry's ears.
'Go away Piers,' Said Harry quietly. 'please,'
'Big D, he is here!' Screamed Piers towards Dudley and his followers. Dudley and his gang were standing in front of the climbing frame in the corner of the playground.
The bullies started walking towards the bushes. Harry couldn't run away, Piers had made sure of that. He hid his face in his knees. It was over for him, he looked around and noticed that there was no teacher in sight.
'Go away Dudley!' Screamed Harry.
Dudley and his gang didn't react and they all kept walking towards the bushes.
Harry knew that he would get beaten up again.
It was over.
'Where did he go?'
Dudley looked confused at the bushes without the scrawny 8-year-old in it.
Harry had no idea what happened. One second he sat in the bushes, and the next second he had found himself on the roof of the school. He had no idea how it happened.
The only explanation he had for himself was that he had simple flown away. Harry was walking over the roof, wondering how he was going to get off.
'Harry Potter, what are you doing here?' Harry's teacher was shocked at seeing her student on the roof.
'I don't know how it happened miss Trunchball.' Screamed Harry towards the ground. 'I'm sorry.'
'Don't know how it happened? You will climb off the roof with these stairs,' Miss Trunchball pointed at the stairs that were constructed along the wall of the building. 'and when you are on the ground again you will explain yourself and you can prepare yourself for a big fat punishment young man.'
Harry felt stupid for not noticing the stairs, he quickly climbed off the roof.
The middle aged woman instructed Harry to walk to here office.
'Sit down,' Said the woman coldly.
Harry sat down, scared of what was to come.
'What happened?' Asked Harry's teacher.
Harry felt his eyes going watery. 'I don't know, i truly don't. One second i was on the ground and the next second i was on the roof, it was like magic!'
The teacher rolled her eyes. 'I am going to call your uncle.'
'No please,' Begged Harry.
The woman had already started dialing in the Dursley's phone number. 10 akward silent minutes had went by, before uncle Vernon had stormed angrily into the office.
'Sit down please mister Dursley,'
Vernon sat down on the third chair in the office.
'Harry will be suspended the following week, he can use that week to reflect on his actions.'
Vernon didn't say anything. Harry tried his best not to cry.
'You can bring you nephew home now,' The teacher looked at Vernon.
'Come on boy,'
Vernon stood up. 'Thank you miss Trunchball, luckily i have another boy who isn't a total failure.'
The teacher gave no visible reaction to Vernon embarrassing his nephew. 'Goodbye,'
Harry quickly stood up and walked with Vernon out of the office.
After a very akward car ride, Harry wanted to hide from Vernon in his cupboard, but Vernon hold him back. 'What happened?' Screamed Vernon to the scared little boy.
'I don't know. One minute i was on the ground and the next minute i was on the roof.' Harry looked at Vernon. 'It was like magic!'
Vernon trew Harry into his cupboard. 'There is no such thing as magic.' He said word for word.
Vernon locked the cupboard and walked away. Harry kicked the wall out of fustration.
9 days later, Harry was finally allowed out of the cupboard again. Harry knew that he only was allowed out again, because he needed to go to school.
The last 9 days had been some of the worst days of Harry's live. He had gotten food and water one time a day, the rest of the day he was forced to stay in his locked cupboard.
Harry walked to school alone. Vernon often rode Dudley to school in his car, but Harry was always forced to walk the 3 kilometres. Harry had nearly arrived, when he saw Dudley's gang standing in front of the school.
'You are not going back!' Screamed Dudley towards Harry. 'Just leave, get out of my life!'
Dudley's gang laughed.
'You embarrassed me in front of everyone, i hate you! You stupid freak!'
Harry said nothing, he simply stared at his cousin.
'Just leave!' Screamed Dudley. 'I hate you, we will beat you up if you come any closer.'
Dudley's gang laughed again, but Dudley just stared angrily at Harry. They quickly stopped laughing after they realised that Dudley didn't find the situation so funny.
Harry gave Dudley one last look and started walking away from the school. He had no idea where he was going. The only thing he knew is that he didn't want to see Dudley or Vernon, or even Petunia, ever again.

Harry strompled through bad parts of London. After a long day of begging for money, it was getting dark and Harry was forced to walk back to the dump he was staying at at the moment. He really liked this place, because it was in the forest and people were rare in this area of the forest. He often called it the red forest, because it had so many red plants and flowers. Harry wondered if others called it the same.
The boy who lived was wearing a yellow t-shirt that was filled with holes, ripped jeans that were way too long for him and worn out sneakers. Harry knew that he didn't look good, but this were the best clothes he had. He couldn't remember the last time he had looked into a mirror, he was too scared; food had been scarce the last few months, he couldn't remember the last time he had showered: it couldn't be good.
Harry indeed did not look good; he had gotten even thinner the last few months and his skin looked incredibly smutty and dirty. His body was also filled with scars and bruises, it was simply a result of living on the streets.
The young boy put his hair in a ponytail. He hadn't gotten a haircut in more than 2 years, his hair came to his mid-back. It had been so long since Harry had combed his hair, that dreads had started to form in it. Harry knew that he had to buy a comb, but combing his hair wasn't a priority for Harry. He spent nearly all his money on food, he had to. Money was scarce for Harry and the money he did have was spent wisely.
He had lost his glass a few days after he had ran away. Luckily, his eyesight wasn't that bad without his glasses, but things like reading were still difficult without them. Going to school, was a thing Harry had to gave up after he had ran away, but Harry still tried to educate himself. He had a few books in his belonging, he had read them all a hunderd times.
Since he had ran away, Harry spent most of his time reading or begging for money. Sometimes, he was forced to steal something, but he tried his best to refrain from stealing.
'Hello girl!'
A female German Shepherd ran towards her owner. Harry and his dog greeted each other.
He had found the dog on the street on his tenth birthday. She was all alone, so Harry had decided to keep her, to give him some company. A first, the dog had been scared of the scrawny boy, but these days, she trusted him completely.
The dog barked.
'What's wrong girl, what's wrong?'
A owl was flying towards Harry's dump, he had a letter in his claws, the owl dropped the letter and flew away again. The dog barked towards the letter like she wanted to know what was in it.
Harry thought to himself that it was probably just a stupid prank, but he was still curious about what was in the letter.
The boy who lived opened the letter.

than 31 July.
Yours Sincerely.
Professor McGonagall
'Stupid joke!'
Harry walked to the closest trashcan and trew the letter away without even reading the list with necessary books and equipment. After having lived on the streets for more than 2 years, Harry didn't trust much anymore, so certainly not a letter that told him that he was accepted at a school for wizards.
Harry suddenly remembered one of his old memories with the Dursley's . He tried to get it out of his head, but didn't succeed.

'Vernon!'
The little black-haired boy ran around the house, looking for his uncle. He had a drawing in his hand. The drawing exist out of 4 stickfigures: 2 with blond hair, 1 with brown hair and 1 with black hair.
'What boy?' Uncle Vernon was sitting on the couch in the living room.
Harry showed the drawing to his uncle. Right above the 4 stickfigures, a word was scrabbled: family.
'Look family!' Said Harry excitedly.
Vernon looked at Harry, he then dragged Harry to the trashcan. 'We are not family,' He said word for word. 'trow that thing away.'
Harry looked at Vernon, he was nearly crying. Most people would probably have compassion with the scared little boy, but Vernon didn't.
'Trow it away,' Said Harry's uncle word for word.
Harry trew the drawing in the trashcan.
This was the day Harry stopped thinking of the Dursley's as his family.

Harry finally succeeded in thinking of something else. After staring into the forest for a few minutes, thinking he had heard something, he finally walked into his dump.
The interior of the dump existed out of an old mattress, a few books and an old damaged blanket. There were also some damaged old clothes laying on the mattress. Harry knew he didn't have much, but he valued all the things he did have and for him it was enough.
