Della
So this is what it feels like to be held in the arms of the man you're in love with. Even in my high heels, I still have to look up to see his eyes. And they are oh so blue. The ocean should be jealous. His arms…oh my heavens. They feel so strong…like steel…but they are holding me so gently, so tenderly. I know I'd always be safe within his embrace. His hands are wonderful, soft yet firm. I wish his hand on my back were lower. Oh, careful girl.
It was like floating on air, dancing with him. Like everything else he does, he dances with ease. I could stay like this for an eternity.
Perry
So this is what it's like to hold the woman I love in my arms. She feels so small and fragile, yet she has a strength I've never known in any other woman. I love the fragrance that is so uniquely hers. When she looks at me with those beautiful hazel eyes I just melt, or at least most of me. I wish I could move my hand lower on her back, but…well…society frowns.
I feel as if I'm lighter than air, dancing with this wonderful woman. Like everything else she does, it's perfect. I could stay this way for eternity.
As the couple waltzed across the floor, Perry stopped just before going out onto the terrace. At Della's questioning gaze, he simply pointed up, to a large sprig of mistletoe. Drawing her in closer, their lips met in a passionate kiss, leaving them both breathless, finally breaking apart to smile at each other.
Then walking together, arm in arm, out onto the terrace, they stopped at the balustrade. Looking down through the clouds to where they once lived, they smiled. Three distinguished gentlemen joined them, linking arms with the couple. As they all looked at Perry, he nodded his head and once again looked down through the clouds.
"For all of the fans who have kept our memories alive through the years, we want you to know we are happy and well. We appreciate your dedication and keep those stories coming, we love them. So on behalf of Della, Paul, Hamilton, Arthur and myself…"
They all chimed in.
"Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!"
