Cut from the Same Cloth

Author's Note: Ugh! The fact that there's MAZICA PARTY bedding and I don't have it! Enjoy the story and R&R.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything related to or of MAZICA PARTY.

Pairing: Established Kezuru x Cratch.

Summary:

It's good to be good. It's also good to be bad!

Kezuru and Cratch were cut from the same cloth. They loved a good game and a good party. They loved bouncing ideas for fun activities off one another, and loved doing those activities together, whether it was causing a ruckus at the Happy Smile Market, or tearin' it up on the dance floor at school.

They were in sync, but perhaps not on the same level as Balnya and Kezuru's dad, who could respond back to Kezuru with identical answers, inflections, and body motions, despite one not knowing the other existed. Despite Balnya sitting right there on Kezuru's dad's head!

Though from how attached Kezuru was to Cratch, you couldn't seriously make a distinction.

Today, the two secret wizards had chosen a department store as their playground. Jumping on the beds would usually tick off security and get you ejected from the store, only that's not what happened. Not with Cratch on the counterattack.

Cratch was like a Karma Houdini if the term didn't apply to just villains who seemingly always magic themselves out of astoundingly deserved comeuppance for their actions.

Cuz Cratch had participated in saving the world before, and was a "hero" in that sense, yet nonetheless took undue pleasure in flexing the "bad" side of himself.

And not merely "bad" in the precocious sense. "Bad" in the bad sense.

Like shooting security an unconscionably fiendish look that said karma would be on their butts if they moved to stop him and Kezuru from leaping on the furniture!

A look that said yes, this character is even capable of saccing his best friend!

Like running out on Kezuru after they were warned to quit throwing cards at wieners in the meat aisle, or leaving Kezuru in sweet tears upon sacking him when the music ended in the Clubbing Club's clubhouse.

But through all the good and the bad Cratch showed him, Kezuru kept RSVPing.

They remained the tightest and truest of friends.

…if friendship included lip-locking with crashing teeth in a department store showroom.

Sometimes, it's good to be bad. What were the party poopers gonna do? They couldn't anticipate what Cratch might do!

So go on.

Go about your business.

Or risk a confrontation.

Cratch didn't care either way, hm-hm-hm~!
