HELLO, everyone. Gee, a further two months or so away, and finally I'm back on here amongst ya'll with something, feels like forever since I last published something which was chapter 6 to my Narnia/'Merlin' crossover project. But now, with the birthday of our one and only ultimate King and brother above all of us, the person concerned being of course the absolutely wonderful Aragorn Elessar, now approaching, this will be my special present to him and of course to everyone else who desires and wishes to look at it, and of course it's so good to finally be back into writing mode for me, hoorah.
And this has been in my head ever since last August when I finally decided to look at, and ended up loving and enjoying so much indeed, the two films of 'Sonic the Hedgehog', which are now so totally two of my absolute top favourite films, thanks to the number of great fun giving characters in both, ESPECIALLY our lead three alien creature figures of Sonic himself, Tails the flying fox and Knuckles the Echidna. And as well as them, there is of course the human cast, ESPECIALLY actor comedian legend Jim Carrey's absolutely phenomenal performance as the great and cetainly quite menacing but comedy emitting big bad of Dr Robotnik, and also Sonic's human parent figures of Tom and Maddy Wachowski AND Maddy's big sister Rachel, all of whom combine together to make the two 'Sonic' films so enjoyable watches.
So, allow me to present this, a threesome mixture crossover of the two films and the shows of 'The Flash' and 'Supergirl', with everyone from the 'Sonic' films, Sonic and Tails and Knuckles and the human cast, existing on Kara's Earth aka Earth 38, the three aliens being besties with Kara and her National City family gang. As to where this begins, well, the first chapter to the third edition of brother Aragorn's 'Thunder and Steel' series, the one called 'The False God and The Madman' has given me the most perfect way and place to start this intended two chapter length surprise birthday for our Indian King, so basically an amount of what happens in that will feature in this first chapter, but of course with my own differences too. As for the 'Sonic' films, a few months have passed since the end of 'Sonic 2', both of which have run exactly as they have, so absolutely no interference whatsoever by Ms Danvers.
And regarding who Superman is here, I will confirm that it is Routhman/Brandon Routh's Superman who's Earth 38's version here, cos I love him and his movie of 'Superman Returns' so much, plus his Kingdom Come version was the only good thing about the COIE bullshit, and he's certainly FAR far better than the pathetic little weakling of Mr Tyler Hoechlin's version. So that's who Superman is for Earth 38 here, and he also bears some of the legendary Christopher Reeve's Superman's abilities from the big man's first two films, them being his speed and strength, meaning that Routhman is basically, and appropriately so at that, faster than cousin Kara and the Trio/Sonic, Tails and Knuckles combined.
So, buckle yaselves for what's to come, cos believe me, it is gonna be so much fun indeed, THAT I can promise everyone, thanks to the presences of the Trio being on Earth 38 here. Prepare to say dearly departed Crocodile Hunter figure Steve Irwin's signature word of 'Crikey!" if ya must, hahaha.

"I can't believe I allowed you three to talk me into this," Kara chuckled as she stood with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles on a small country road many miles outside of National City.
"It's a race, Super," Knuckles replied back in his usual matter of fact way of speaking, still having not quite mastered the art of distinguishing and doing real humour from the way he did it, "You get challenged, you must take it up or else back out and risk being pronounced a coward."
"I know that, Knuckles," Kara laughed, Sonic and Tails shaking their heads but also chuckling themselves, "But seriously, you three have proven time and again every time we've done this fun between us, and also with Clark whenever we've visited him on general visitation period, or needed his help, or he us, with whatever, that you always leave me in the dust."
"Whereas Clark does the exact opposite, when he leaves us in the dust," Sonic remarked, "No matter how many times we've raced him, he always emerges on top every time."
"Well, that's what ya get when it's Earth's more signature and well known Kryptonian figure, and who unexpectedly beat his supposed to be older cousin in age when she got knocked into and stuck in deep sleep for almost a century quarter in some Phantom Zone place before at last ending up on Earth, you challenge," Tails pointed out, again he, Sonic and Kara all chuckling at the words.
"Are we going to do this then or not?" Knuckles asked, bringing up the topic at hand again.
"Yes yes yes, Knucks, we are," Sonic answered, "Patience is a useful virtue, you know."
"Patience isn't one of my strongholds, Hedgehog," Knuckles replied with, mouth forming a scowl.
"OK, so remember, just like the many times before, this isn't a competition, guys," Tails said.
"Well, it is sorta a competition," Sonic put in, "But it's not like a macho, uh, measuring thing, you know."
"First one to reach the target destination is the winner," Knuckles added, turning to Kara, "If you lose, Super, we shall have the honour of bidding you a fond and memorable farewell from the team."
"You know I always lose every time," Kara laughed again, pointing out the obvious, "There's just no catching up with you three in a straight run."
"Well, you never know, there's always a first time for something new to happen, Kara," Sonic said, a mischievous look on his face.
"Ah well, then if I win, Alex said something about taking us out for ice cream," Kara replied with her own mischievous twinkle.
"Yay, ice cream," Knuckles cheered, pumping his right fist in the air, and then lowered it. "Will it have grapes in it, as I like to have it?" he asked
Yet again, Kara chuckled. "I'm sure Alex will remember what your certain taste is, Knuckles," she said, "After all, the last thing is for you to get a little cross and throw a wobbler using those boxing gloved fists of yours, as only you know how."
"I do not throw a wobbler," Knuckles responded with in his usual manner, Sonic and Tails laughing themselves. "What is a wobbler?" the Echidna then asked.
Sonic shook his head. "You really do still have so much to learn, you know, pal," he told his pal.
"Anyway, shall we do this?" Tails asked, raising the race topic once more.
"Yes yes, come on," Kara responded, she and the three creatures moving to position themselves on the road as if they were on a real racetrack, Kara behind the trio, "But if I win, I get to tell everyone."
"We shall see, Super, we shall see," Knuckles remarked.
"Right then," Sonic said, acting as referee. "On your marks..." the four shifted their bodies into starting positions like real human athletes, faces looking straight ahead, mouths set, ready to race. "Get set..." small bursts of electricity fizzled and cracked on Sonic and Knuckles, Tails' twin tails becoming blurs, "And... Go." And with that, they were off, Tails and Kara both taking to the air the moment they started, flying just above Sonic and Knuckles' heads. Almost immediately though, the hedgehog, echidna and fox began pulling away from Kara, she doing her best to at least keep them in her sights as they raced through the countryside, the landscape around them nothing but a blur.
"See? No matter how many times I do so, I'll always be hopeless against you three," Kara said loudly with a laugh, sure that the trio could hear her. And as if in response, Sonic and Knuckles turned and began running backwards, Knuckles folding his arms as he did so while Sonic gave Kara a mock two fingered salute.
"Yahoo, Kara," he called out in a sing-song voice.
"Catch us if you can, Super," Knuckles added gruffly, Tails laughing as Sonic and Knuckle turned back round the correct way, and then as the skyscapers of National City appeared in the distance the three of them were off, speeding fully out of Kara's sight in fast flashes of red, blue and orange light.
"Oooh, the cheek," Kara remarked with a shake of the head but still smiling, and did her best to pick up the pace with her flying speed, but it was hopeless, and by the time she reached their destination, which was of course her own apartment, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, as well as her sister Alex, were there waiting as Kara flew through the open balcony doors and landed in the lounging area.
"Victory for the trio once more," Sonic proudly declared, sharing a high five with Tails and a very soft fist bump with Knuckles.
"It's always a win-win for you three every time my sister and you do one of your fun runs," Alex laughed, "Whereas Clark leaves you lot barely past the starting line before he comes zooming right back again as if he ain't actually moved at all."
"He may be the fastest thing in the air, Danvers Jr," Knuckles said in his usual manner, "But we're still the fastest creatures on the ground, and nobody has ever yet been able to rival us in that sense."
"Still counts though with Alex's words," Tails responded with.
Any further conversation though was cut short as a breach suddenly opened, the two sisters and the three alien creatures turning to it, Kara and the trio bracing themselves ready for whatever may emerge from it, only for Joe West, his son Wally West dressed in his Kid Flash uniform, and Patty Spivott to step out, all looking a little afraid, the breach disappearing as soon as they did so.
"Wally?!" Kara exclaimed, remembering him of course as well as Patty, who she'd met for the first time and learned Barry had re-established himself with in relationship terms after having broken up with Iris at some point after the Dominator stuff, from their first meeting after she and Barry had been retrieved from the musical fantasy world the annoying prat known as the Music Meister had put them in.
Wally nodded. "Hey, Kara," he said.
"Who may I be inclined of politely asking are you three unexpected visitors to our world?" Knuckles, inevitably perhaps, spoke up in question.
At hearing his voice, Wally, Joe and Patty looked in its direction, their eyes widening and mouths dropping open at the sight of the blue hedgehog, two-tailed fox and red echidna in the room with Kara and Alex.
"Well I'll be..." Wally gasped, looking to and addressing Sonic, "Are you...?"
At once, Sonic was in front of the three from Earth 1, holding out a hand. "Sonic the Hedgehog, at your service," he introduced himself politely with a grin.
"SONIC?!" three voices gasped as one, as Knuckles and Tails themselves now joined Sonic.
"And I assume that you..." Patty said, looking to Tails, "...are Miles Prower, better known as Tails, going by your two tails?" Then she turned to Knuckles, "And you are Knuckles the Echidna?"
"That is indeed correct, madam," Knuckles confirmed for Patty in a usual matter of fact tone, his eyes narrowing, "But how do you know about me and the hedgehog and fox? I don't believe we've ever met before."
"Are you kidding?" Joe exclaimed, "From where we're from, you three are some of the most popular and most loved video game characters ever. Even I used to enjoy playing them and you when I was a lad."
"Me too," Patty agreed.
"I third that," Wally finished with.
"Video games?" Sonic asked in curiosity.
"Oh..." Wally said, realizing that once again, some things were obviously different on this Earth than to theirs, and the very real life versions of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles he and dad Joe and Patty were seeing standing before them must clearly be some of that.
"Ah well, pleased to meet you three in the meantime, I suppose," Joe said, he and Wally and Patty shaking hands with the three aliens and Alex while introducing themselves properly, the three Earth 1'ers all gasping at the huge strength of Knuckle's powerful grip alone when he did handshakes with them.
"Well as much as it's nice to see you all again..." Kara spoke again at last herself, "I have a feeling you're not here on a social call."
"No," Joe confirmed, shaking his head.
"Didn't think so," Kara muttered, then asked what needed to be asked, "What is it?"
"It's Savitar," Wally answered, Kara's eyes lighting up as she remembered the name, Barry having told her of the metal armour clad speedster who'd been giving him and Team Flash so much trouble after the Music Meister business.
"And what's one of those when it's at home?" Tails asked, he and Sonic and Knuckles not having heard that sort of name being used for anyone at all.
"Sounds like the name for a super-villain," Sonic put in at a guess.
"That's cos he is, Sonic," Wally replied, "And he's the reason me and dad have brought Patty here."
"Why's that?" Alex asked.
"We want to keep Patty safe, and this was the best place that came to mind thanks to it being your sister's home Earth," Joe told her, now looking to Kara. "Please, Kara, we'd really appreciate it if you could," he pleaded.
"What is it about this mystery person with the strange name that has you so afraid for the dear lady's good person, lawman of the West?" Knuckles asked.
At the three's looks in response to the echidna's typical way of speaking, Sonic said, "Sorry, it's his habit, still has a lot to learn in terms of pronunciation." When he looked to Knuckles, a growl and scowl was what he got from the echidna.
"Well to answer the question..." Wally said, "Barry himself doesn't know we're here, and he can't. The reason being is cos Savitar's a future version of him."
"Wait, what?" Kara gasped in shock, unsure if she'd misheard what had just been said. How could someone as kind and gentle and selfless as Barry Allen, her friend at that, and the man who had unwaveringly helped her against Silver Banshee and Livewire that time he had accidentally ended up on her Earth the previous year, establishing their friendship in the first place, become evil enough to murder a woman he loved? She did know full well of course, thanks to Barry and co. having told her about it also, that Savitar wanted to kill Patty, but she hadn't known exactly why then, but now...
"Why would he wanna do that?" Tails asked.
"Turns out, Tails, Savitar from the future is actually still with my own sister Iris, and as much as I hate to say it, he is her love slave or something," Wally answered.
"Ewwww," Alex emitted, a look of disgust passing over her face at the mere thought of the idea.
"That sounds rather inappropriate for relationship standards," Knuckles said.
"Well 'inappropriate' isn't quite the full term right way of describing it, Knuckles," Joe put in for him.
"And now because Barry got back with me, Savitar's romance with Iris is at risk of being erased," Patty spoke again, "So he's basically being her precious little bitch and wants to kill me to fix things."
"And I thought Robotnik was mad enough himself," Sonic remarked, now looking to his fellow aliens and the Danvers pair, "Who else agrees on the fact that this guy Savitar is much more mad in the head than the Eggman?" His hand, along with four others, came up at that.
"Wait, Dr Robotnik exists here as well?" Wally asked, hearing the words, but for the moment no one answered him as Joe turned again to Kara.
"And that's why we need your help, Kara," he addressed the Kryptonian woman, "I know how it sounds, but please, we need your help in keeping Patty safe."
"Oh you can be very assured indeed you got that," Sonic said himself, extreme determination coming over his and Tails and Knuckles' faces, "This delusional doppelganger madman ever dares come here, we'll kick his butt just as hard as we've done with that of Dr Robotnik the two times we've fought him and taught him not to mess with our planet."
"I second to that," Knuckles agreed.
"Though I hope you ain't forgotten in too much of a hurry, Knuckles, you helped Robotnik against Sonic at first," Kara pointed out humouredly, "Till the mad boy had decided you were of no further use to him and ditched you for the Master Emerald, hence you became part of the Sonic gang from then on."
"Yes, my memories are still very much intact, Super," Knuckles answered in his usual manner.
"I say third here," Tails said in support of Joe's plea for Patty's safety.
"And I'll finish it with a combined fourth from me and Alex," Kara agreed also, joining her fellow aliens in their support, Patty, Joe and Wally nodding in appreciation.
Later on that evening, the five of them, together with J'onn J'onzz who had also come to join them thanks to Alex asking him to do so, were interacting, both Earth 1'ers and 38'ers all being great amused and blown away by the incredible tales told by one another about previous adventures done by their different Earths' individuals.
"So where's Robotnik now?" Joe asked.
Sonic shrugged. "Haven't seen him since we got the Master Emerald back and I Super Sonic'ed his giant armoured outfit," he answered, "But make no mistake..." he looked between Tails and Knuckles, "He ever does show his face again, we'll be ready to boot his butt off of this planet again if needs must be."
"You betcha," Tails declared cheerfully, sharing a fist bump with Sonic.
"As long as it ain't to that mushroom planet place you've said of," Patty said mischievously, "As I don't think the guy would like that..." she turned to Knuckles, "...after being stuck on there for a year till you found him and helped him return to Earth to menace Sonic again, Knuckles."
"Yeah, don't think there'd be mush room for him a second time round," Wally chuckled, which resulted in laughs from the rest.
"I am prepared to admit it was probably a grave mistake on my part that I found and befriended Robotnik when I did," Knuckles then said.
"Reckon he'd certainly be a worthy opponent for Barr, that is if a version of him ever existed back home on our Earth," Joe remarked.
Then suddenly, a breach opened, and a second later a giant suit of armour, the eyes and the gaps on the body glowing with blue light, that looked like a discount Megatron sped out of it, grabbing Patty and holding her up, everyone leaping to their feet.
"I am Savitar, the God of Speed," the disembodied voice of the absolute megalomaniacal delusion rife Barry Allen copycat declared, "And I will ensure my destiny gets fulfilled."
But then in a split second, Knuckles sped forward and snatched Patty out of Savitar's hand, the copycat looking around in shock and seeing the Echidna standing a safe distance away, holding Patty up with his boxing glove encased hands.
"Hands off the lady, if you don't mind," Knuckles ordered.
"Uh, Knuckles, would you mind me putting down, please?" Patty spoke, Knuckles looking up at her and seeming to only realize he was still holding her up in the air himself.
"My sincerest apologies, my lady," he gave, and then plonked her down a little hard on one of Kara's couches.
"What...?" Savitar wondered, eyes wide in shock.
Sonic moved so that he stood directly in front of Savitar, blue electricity crackling on his body, his green eyes narrowed. "I don't know how you found out, but you made a big mistake coming here," he growled warningly, Tails and Knuckles joining him, their own faces giving looks you wouldn't want to dare make any bigger.
"Who are you?" Savitar demanded, having of course no knowledge whatsoever of the three alien creatures who stood before him.
"You are no God of Speed," Tails spoke up, "You're just a lovesick puppy dog, who only cares about maintaining his own existence regardless of how many others get hurt in order to do so."
"Unlike you, we made a vow to use our powers to keep the universe, and this world, our home, safe," Knuckles growled equally as menacingly.
"We don't use our powers to run away or to harm people," Sonic declared in extreme determination to Savitar, "We use them to protect our friends."
"I am the fastest speedster in the multiverse," Savitar roared insanely, "I am the rage and the vile and the voracity. I am the Prince and the Fallen. I am the Enemy, I am the Sin and the fear and darkness. I shall never die. The thought of me is forever, in the bleeding hearts of men, in their vanity and obsecrate and lust. Nothing shall ever destroy me. Nothing!"
"We'll see about that," Sonic gave in response, "Catch us if you can." He looked to Tails and Knuckles, sharing understanding nods. "On your marks..." Sonic began, the three of them turning a hundred and eighty degrees to face the other way, "Get set..." they made ready into starting positions, "And... go." And with that, in flashes of blue, red and orange light, they were off.
Savitar roared angrily and raced after them, pursuing them through the streets of National City trying to catch the trio, but to his horror he found he couldn't keep up with them at all.
"Probably a bad time to say this, but does anyone have an exact plan on how to take out this guy?" Tails asked his two pals as they continued running.
"His weak spot is what we need to target," Knuckles answered, "I would suggest-"
"No no no, please don't say 'the groin'," Sonic groaned, knowing what the Echidna was about to say. But then as if in answer to their needed prayers, a moment later Heat Vision suddenly blazed down from the sky and hit Savitar's feet, making him trip forward and roll on the ground, the trio breaking to a hold and looking up to where it had come from.
"This answer your question, eh, you three?" Clark Kent aka Kara's big cousin Superman called out.
"It would seem we owe you the benefit of a very timely arrival, Man of Kent," Knuckles responded with.
Clark chuckled. "Indeed you do, Knuckles," he replied as, with a joyful shout of "Clark", Kara arrived, the two cousins happily embracing in mid-air.
Savitar groaned as he got back onto his feet, only to then grab his head and scream in pain, bending over and almost falling to his knees as J'onn, as the Martian Manhunter, attacked him with a mental blast.
"Remember what you performed on Dr Robotnik last year before you and Sheriff Wachowski banished him to the mushroom planet, Sonic?" J'onn asked, addressing the blue Hedgehog, "Now would be a good a time as any to do it again."
Catching on to what J'onn was suggesting, Sonic grinned slyly and nodded. "I think so too, J'onzzy," he agreed, "Stand back, everyone." And with that, in a flash of blue lightning, he sped over to and part way up the wall of a building to the right, and then launched himself off it, curling himself into a ball as he flew through the air towards Savitar, impacting and bouncing off the speedster's suit of armour to the wall of a building on the left this time, repeating the process.
And for the next few seconds afterwards, Sonic was nothing but a series of blue lightning emitting blurs as he hit Savitar's suit multiple times left, right, in front, behind and all around, using building walls and parked vehicles to help him do so. Until finally, he stopped and returned to where Tails and Knuckles awaited, the exterior of Savitar's suit now a vast spiderweb of cracks thanks to Sonic's impact hits.
"Perhaps you would like the pleasure of landing the final blow, Knucks," Sonic proposed to the Echidna.
"It would be a pleasure," Knuckles agreed with a sense of gratitude. He moved so that he was positioned directly in front of Savitar, and as the speedster, J'onn having ended his mental blast beforehand, roared and prepared to charge, Knuckles moved first, speeding forward in a flash of red lightning before then launching himself into the air and curled into a spiky ball.
The impact from his body a moment later shattered Savitar's suit into many tiny pieces, and sent the delusional Barry Allen doppelganger flying backwards a few feet before he hit and rolled on the ground, at last coming to a stop on his back. He panted, horror on his pizza crust face at the realization of what happened, but then Knuckles returned, jumping and planting his feet hard on Savitar's chest, then grabbed the scruff of his black t-shirt with his boxing glove encased left hand and held up his right, Sonic and Tails together with a descended Kara and Clark and J'onn surrounding them on either side.
"Do it," Savitar yelled like the madman he was nothing.
"You insult and spit on my friendship with Barry by wearing a pizza crust version of his face," Kara spat in disgust, "And titling yourself don't make you any sort of God whatsoever."
"It doesn't matter who kills me," Savitar continued, not seeming to care Kara had just spoken, addressing Knuckles, "You're just a pathetic little echidna after all." That earned him a very angry expressioned look from Knuckles, "Either way, I-" But he never got the chance to say the word 'live', as the Echidna swung his right fist into Savitar's cheek, the super-strength backed hit knocking the insane maniac out like a light.
"I do not take kindly to insults from someone as mad in the head as you," Knuckles growled in comment, jumping off of Savitar's chest.
"So, what do we do with this guy?" Clark asked.
"Well as long as he doesn't kill Patty by the stroke of midnight, he'll be erased into nothingness," Tails explained.
"Ah, but before that happens..." Sonic spoke up, his face giving a huge twinkle which lit it up more than it had been before as he turned to Kara, "Could you get him over to the DEO, Kara, and have the whole gang, including old Joe and the other two, meet us there? I think there's something we need to do when our friend comes round."
After a brief moment's confusion, Kara's own face then lit up as she smiled, Tails reacting the same way as he too also caught on to what Sonic was saying. "Right away, Sonic," she said, before grabbing Savitar's unconcious form and slinging him over her shoulder and zooming back into the sky.
"Guess it's even more fortunate for you guys that I arrived on the scene when I did," Clark said, then as if guessing they were about to ask the inevitable question answered it with, "I was coming over to pay you all a social call when I saw you engaging in a race against Mr Armoured Suit Bloke." He shrugged, "Thought I'd pitch in and help out."
"Well in that case, I'd say you've earned yaself a reward for it," Tails said proposingly.
Clark nodded. "And I don't need to even guess what it is, Tails," he replied with a grin.
A few minutes before midnight
With a groan, and a big pain in his cheek, Savitar came to, looking round and seeing that he was lying on the hard floor of some sort of cell, and also noticed that his hands were cuffed in front of him, the cuffs being meta-power dampening ones. Pulling himself to his feet, he then saw, standing on the other side of the glass screen which made up the front wall of his cell, arms either folded across their chests or hands placed on hips, about a dozen individuals, them being the Danvers sisters, Lucy Lane, Winn, James, Clark, General Astra, Patty, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, all giving Savitar looks of utter contempt.
Racing up to the glass, the maniacal speedster roared with hatred, "Let me out of here. I'll kill Patty, and then all of you. I'll exist, no matter what happens, I always exist-"
But then Sonic spoke, putting his right hand up to his ear. "Sorry, pal, but can ya speak up a little? We can't hear ya," he said, he and the rest all chuckling.
"I've switched-a-roo'ed the cell's speaker systems a little, so you can hear us, but we can't hear you," Winn revealed.
"We don't fancy listening to whatever delusional madness comes outta your mouth during your final minutes of existence," Lucy went next.
"You can't keep me in here forever," Savitar just continued ranting and raving, as if he hadn't a word they said, holding up his cuffed hands, "I'll get outta these things, and then outta here, and I'll do what needs to be done. No matter what happens, I will ensure my existence remains intact, I will-"
"Sorry, still can't hear you," Alex said, she and everyone, apart from of course Knuckles, laughing again, for all they could hear, or rather see, from their side of the glass was Savitar's mouth moving up and down, but no actual words, courtesy of what Winn had indeed done.
"And now, here comes the best bit, the reason why we've all gathered and you are our delightful singular audience, Mr Mad Man with the pizza crust face," Sonic said, his face glowing with excitement, looking to Alex. "If you please, Alex?" he asked, holding out a gloved hand as Alex brought out her phone from her trouser pocket and tossed it gently to Sonic, who caught it and began searching on the screen for something, the grin on his face having not faltered.
"Can't believe you talked me into this, my niece," Astra said to Kara, "After all that I did to you during your first year as National City's guardian in blue and red, I would've thought you and this lot..." she gestured briefly with a head movement to the others, "...wouldn't want anything more to do with me."
"And if it hadn't've been for Alex stabbing you through the shoulder with that Kryptonite sword, rather than doing a killing blow through the chest, it wouldn't've given us the second chance that it did, and allowed you the opportunity to redeem yourself for the actions you did alongside that no-gooding do-gooder Non," Kara replied to her aunt, giving her a smile, "Besides, you know how strong the friendship between me and Sonic, Tails and Knuckles is, and what we and Clark have done between us multiple times."
"She speaks the undeniable truth, Aunt in General," Knuckles' voice agreed, the two women looking down to where the red Echidna had moved to Kara's side without them seeing, "It is customary in tradition with an invitation to join in on a pleasurable occasion like the one we are about to do to accept that very thing."
"Yes yes yes, I know that, thank you, both of you," Astra chuckled, addressing both Kara and Knuckles together.
"Is this how you always speak and address things, eh, Knuckles?" Patty now asked teasingly, "You never do seem to be able to distinguish and do humour from seriousness."
"It is my tradition in how I speak, thank you, Lady Spivott," Knuckles responded with.
"A-ha, got it," Sonic announced, holding up Alex's phone triumphantly before then turning to Winn. "You did make sure the speakers in the building are on full max, right, Winny? he asked the technician.
"Of course, Sonic, just as you requested," Winn answered.
"And that it's being recorded too?" Sonic continued.
"Yes yes yes, all is as you asked of me," Winn insisted.
"Come on, guys," James himself finally spoke, as he glanced at his watch and then held up his arm for everyone to see it, his finger tapping it, "We've only about two minutes left before Mr Evil Barry in there..." he nodded in Savitar's direction, "...is erased from existence. If we're gonna do this..."
"Then what're we waiting for?" Tails insisted, "Let's get on with it."
"And... roll the music," Sonic announced, hitting the 'Play' button on Alex's phone before then tossing it back to her.
At once, over the speaker systems in the building, a small drumbeat and then music began to play loudly, followed by a man's voice. "Hey everyone, come for a walk around the Australia Zoo. There's always things to do. There's a crocodile, there's a kangaroo, there's Steve Irwin too! Whoo-hoo!"
"Oh my god," Patty exclaimed, mouth dropping in delighted disbelief as she recognized the voice, looking round at the others as she did so, "The Wiggles, huh?"
Sonic nodded, also smiling hugely. "This one's our personal favourite," he replied, but said no more as now, he, Tails, Clark, Astra and Team Supergirl, Patty joining in too, began to sing and dance, Knuckles himself just watching and copying as best he could, all of them facing the cell confined Savitar as they did so.
"There's always so many things to do," Winn, James, Clark, Sonic and Tails all bellowed out together, the girls going next with the next line of "Hey warga-gargi, hey kalamazoo," everyone holding out their arms and twirling their hands before then holding them high and wiggling their fingers.
"Lots of animals adventures too, At the Australia Zoo." This next bit they all did together, sporting big grins as they did so, while Savitar pounded furiously on the glass window of his cell and roared whatever, but of course they couldn't hear a word he said and carried with the song, which was 'Australia Zoo', written and performed by Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Greg Page and Jeff Fatt, the original boys of the Australian children's music group called the Wiggles.
"The sun is shining, the sky is blue. Hey warga-gargi, hey kalamazoo." Again, the boys and Sonic and Tails did the first sentence, the girls doing the second, everyone raising one elbow and then the next up and down, then twirled their hands again, while also stepping forwards, then sideways, and then backwards as they did it all. Then at the next line, "The dingoes howl, the owls whoo-hoo, At the Australia Zoo", the group held their arms out wide, also holding up first their right feet, then their left, wiggling both them and their fingers as they sang on.
"Crocodiles and camels, Marsupials and mammals." At this next line, the dancers all held up both hands in front of them, stuck their index finger up and wiggled it, making sure the muted ranting Savitar, his pathetic actions drawing laughs again, could see it. "All kinds of animals, At the Australia Zoo." As they did this one, the group pumped their arms up and down and did the forwards, sideways and backwards stepping movement again at the same time.
"Kangaroos, koalas, The birds are singing la, la." Once again, it was Winn, James, Clark Sonic and Tails who did the majority of this line, but at the 'La la' it was the girls who tilted their heads back and put their hands to both sides of their mouths and sang it as loudly as they could, the next line of "The dingoes howl, the owls whoo-hoo, At the Australia Zoo" coming next, arms pumping up and down in the air at the lyrics.
"What's the matter, Savtary? Not caring for a little tune?" Sonic asked Savitar, who still continued to soundlessly rant and rave and pound on the glass of his cell, everyone laughing as the next lines of the song began.
"The crocodile hunter, he's true blue," came first, the boys doing it themselves, elbows raised up and down as they did so, then the girls followed with "Hey warga-gargi, hey kalamazoo," everyone holding out their arms and twirling their hands as it was all done. "There's people playing the didgeridoo," now Knuckles himself did his own small part, bringing both boxing gloved hands to his mouth and giving off a deep rumble in his best impersenation of a didgeridoo, as the line ended with "At the Australia Zoo."
"Hey, look at Murray, he's playing guitar for the crocodiles. Ha, ha." At this sentence, everyone fell silent and mimed playing a guitar. "Hey, Greg's doing magic tricks for the koalas." Tails produced some holograpic images of himself with this next one, which then disappeared. "And Jeff, well, Jeff's asleep." And with this last one, the group lolled their heads to one side and closed their eyes, miming sleeping for a moment before opening them again, the song continuing.
"There's always so many things to do. Hey warga-gargi, hey kalamazoo." As first boys, then girls, bellowed out the next lyrics, each member did his or her own thing, with elbows being raised up and down, arms held out and hands twirled, or arms raised up and down in the air, everyone doing the stepping forwards, sideways and backwards dancing move as they did so, followed on by the next line of "Lots of animals adventures too, At the Australia Zoo."
"Lots of animals adventures too, At the Australia Zoo. At the Australia Zoo." As everyone did these next lyrics, arms held out wide, right feet then left feet also being held up and wiggled along with fingers, they saw that something was happening with Savitar, whose muted ranting and roaring and fist pounding had suddenly ceased and was replaced by a look of horror on his face.
Then, as everyone sang out the last chorus of "At the Australia Zoo...", singing it in very high pitched voices, the 'Zoo' word being stretched out and then followed by "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha", they saw it happen. It started with Savitar's hands and slowly spread up his arms, and then across his whole body, legs and feet, with glowing blue white cracks similar to those on smouldering logs from a campfire, though they of course would be orange.
Then, watched by the gaping mouthed Earth 38'ers and Patty, Savitar himself watching in pure horror, his fingers and then his whole hands began to break apart, the pieces floating and dissolving in the air, the meta-power dampening cuffs clattering to the floor. Then his arms, feet, legs and body all followed, dissolving one by one into non-existence, until his head was the only thing left of him, the deranged demonic false God of Speed emitting one final ever scream of rage, as if fate had ultimately cheated him to the last, before that too, and himself, was gone.
"My god," Lucy finally said.
"That was certainly something to see," James agreed.
"Well, at least with that happening, what it obviously must mean is that I'm now safe," Patty said happily.
Alex glanced at her watch. "You're absolutely right there, Patty," she confirmed, seeing that it was just gone midnight.
"And we gave that mad boy an awesome farewell sing-along and dance routine before his non-existence caught up with him," a hugely ecstatic Tails proclaimed.
"Indeed we did," Sonic furthered just as highly happily, turning to Kara. "Told ya ya got this, didn't I, Kara?" he said to the Kryptonian girl.
"No, it's we got this," Kara playfully corrected Sonic with a grin.
"Exactly, both of you," Clark agreed.
"Hear hear on that very much so," Alex spoke up herself.
"I third that strongly," Winn further agreed.
"Same," James and Lucy said together.
"Alright," Sonic now cheered in response, sharing double high fives with everyone, but when he came to Knuckles he asked instead, "Power pump, Knucks?"
Knuckles nodded. "Indeed, to share in the spoils of victory," he agreed, doing said thing carefully and gently of course due to what his strength was.
"So, that tune's one of your personal favourite, huh?" Patty asked, remembering Sonic's words from a few minutes ago.
"Indeed it is, Patty dearest," Sonic confirmed, Patty chuckling and shaking her head at the Hedgehog's cheek with the last two words.
"I should've thought that was rather obvious, Detective Spivott, thanks to my niece, of all people, dragging me into it at last," Astra said in a humourful way, "Honestly, the many times I've witnessed she and the Hedgehog, Fox and Echidna, along with Kal-El and the rest of who's in here with us, doing all this..."
"Hey, it's part of the tradition of my friendship with these three, Aunt Astra," Kara responded with, gesturing to Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, "Just as it wouldn't be a worthy and exciting enough adventure without Dr Robotnik returning to menace us every time..."
"So it is that it wouldn't be our style of sing-along and dance fun time without such joyful lyrics and tunes like that of the Aussie Wiggles boys," Sonic finished with.
"May I suggest we retreat to the chief place of operations and see how our audience enjoyed the main event?" Knuckles asked, again in his traditional way of saying it.
"Yes, I suppose we'd better do so, Knuckles," Kara agreed, and together the group left the cell block and made their way to the main control room, arriving to great applause from J'onn J'onzz, an awe faced Joe and Wally, and the DEO agents who were in there waiting for them, all having watched and observed the whole of what happened on the DEO computers via live footage.
"Thank you, thank you," Sonic greeted, speaking for them all as he and the rest all bowed in response to the ovation, big smiles on their faces.
"I wish Barr and Cisco were here to see all this," Wally remarked, still in awe over what he and dad Joe had just witnessed on-screen.
"Oh, don't you worry none about that, young Wally," Winn gave in answer, "I've sorted it all out."
"Presumably you'll be needing this then, Agent Schott," J'onn said with a grin, holding up and waggling a mobile phone in his hand.
Winn nodded. "Cheers, J'onn," he said, catching the phone in his hand as the Martian Manhunter threw it to him, then turned to Patty. "Time we were escorting you home to Barry, the good Barry that is, I'd say, Patty," he suggested.
Patty raised an eyebrow. "'We'?" she acknowledged.
Alex and Lucy each laid a hand on both her shoulders, Patty looking to them. "You think that after keeping you safe and sound from an absolutely delusional in the head version of Mr Allen who was certainly much more mad than the stuck-out moustache bearing bald-headed comedic maniac of Dr Robotnik himself, and enjoying a dance and sing-along to our favourite tune from the Wiggles, we'd let you return home to Earth 1 with Mr West and his son here..." Lucy answered with a smile, nodding briefly to Joe and Wally, "...without a proper escort of those who'd prefer to say goodbye properly, eh, Patty?"
"And besides, some of us haven't at all had the pleasure of meeting Barry, the real Barry of course, properly yet," Alex added, referring to herself, Clark and the trio with this.
"And that's not all, Alex," Sonic spoke again, everyone turning to him as he addressed his two fellow aliens and Kara. "What say you three to the idea of a new race, between us and Miss Patty's lover man who's their Earth's own master speedster, to see who's the fastest, huh?" he asked them.
"Hey, I'm from the same Earth too, you know," Wally put in in slight offense, but Joe shushed him.
Tails nodded. "After all the fun we've just finished enjoying this day with his mad in the head pizza crust faced copycat version, of course I'm up for it," he agreed happily.
"It would be a pleasure to meet Lady Spivott's man and compare notes on who gets to claim the prize of fastest runner," Knuckles replied, as usual speaking in his typical way of answering.
"Well you know full well who'll be the winner between us easily, Knuckles," Kara chuckled, "But in answer to your question, absolutely, you can certainly count me in on this."
"And there may just be other places out there in the multiverse's infinite vastness for us to visit..." Sonic added in further excitement, holding up the bag containing his portal rings, "...and see if there are other individuals out there who bear powers like ours or yours for us to challenge."
"Well then, what're we still doing here then, huh?" Joe spoke up, "Let's get going."
As Wally brought out the interdimensional extrapolator he and Joe and Patty had used to come to Earth 38 in the first place, Kara looked between her cousin, aunt and J'onn. "Clark? J'onn? Aunt Astra?" she asked the three of them.
Clark shook his head. "Someone's gotta watch over the city whilst you're gone, cuz," he said, "And besides..." he grinned cheekily, "I always beat you and Sonic and the other two anyway, wouldn't be fair to Mr Allen and whoever else you may visit on whichever other Earth to constantly be seeing only the back end of me as I zoom out and stay in front of ya all the time."
"Just as Clark has said," J'onn said in agreement with the older Kryptonian, "Go, have fun. We'll wait to hear what you bring back to share with us."
"You think I would miss out on the opportunity of being a willing spectator to my niece's fun racing habit?" Astra answered, meaning of course she agreed with the proposal to go to Earth 1.
"Gateway's here," Wally announced, everyone seeing that a breach was now open.
Sonic looked between Tails and Knuckles. "Well what're we waiting for then, huh?" he asked in ten fold excitement, his face showing it and all, "Another world, here we come." And with that, the three of them were off, speeding forward and disappearing through the breach before any of the others could respond.
Kara shook her head. "Those three..." she said, but chuckling after she'd said the words, "Let's go, guys." And together, with Joe and Wally leading, she, Patty, Alex, Lucy, Astra, James and Winn followed them through the breach, which closed the moment they had done so.
And there we are, the first part result of over half a year's wanton intent and plan by me of a crossover between the shows and characters of 'The Flash', 'Supergirl' and Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends from their immensely enjoyable movie pair, and we're not done yet, oh NO, sir, there's still much more fun to come in next chapter, perhaps two if I might have to make this a three-parter to save inappropriate chapter length, in the form of the Great Race across the multiverse I've hinted on here between the Trio, Barry and Kara. In the meantime, I hope you all immensely enjoyed this starter after waiting for it from me for so long, and once again I wish our King and ultimate brother of us all from the Indian homeland a very VERY happy 23rd birthday for today, hope you've had a wonderful day today, man, hope this present was everything you've been waiting from me.
So, to clear up anyone's inevitable curiosity, yes, I've kept Astra from 'Supergirl' season 1 alive for this, as I fancied doing so, and Astra had the chance of being a redeemable character, unlike her monstrous self-caring merciless husband Lieutenant Non, but the asshole producers just had to go and decide to kill her off. So for here, and like in the first edition of brother A's stupendous 'Thunder and Steel' series, Alex stabbed Astra through the shoulder rather than the chest, so allowing Team Supergirl to capture her, and since then has become a good person again, hence the way she is in this.
Yup, Lucy Lane is still with us, cos I loved her in 'Supergirl' season 1 and her actress Jenna Dewan aka the ex-lover of Mr Channing Tatum is such a hottie, was such a shame Jenna obviously couldn't move along with the show when they switched locations from season 2 onwards, but I've literally just found out that Lucy has apparently returned again in 'Superman and Lois'. And if anyone's noticed that Maggie's not around, well, it's simple: she and Alex are not together in this, cos now that I'm a few years older, plus with every one of you guys' advice and extremely truthful words, I now see just how dislikeable a pair shipping they both made, I'd choose Floriana Lima's role of the Billy Russo fucking psychiatrist Dr Krista Dumont in season 2 of 'The Punisher', lol there, any day than Maggie.
Now, I can pretty well guess that no one else on here has probably even heard of The Wiggles, hell, I've only listened to and enjoyed just a couple of their songs myself, the one I had featured here included, I ain't a kid after all, haha. But I'll just put down for general say that like I put in the chapter's plot, they're an Aussie children's music group, originally made up of the boys whose names I've mentioned, Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Greg Page and Jeff Fatt. But then during the years between 2000-09, all four of them stepped down for different reasons, so now The Wiggles, which is still very much ongoing to this day, has had its different current members since then.
And finally, to say on the fun of 'Sonic the Hedgehog', let's keep our fingers crossed and pray to god that Jim Carrey, the one who's delivered absolutely gloriously and splendidly as Dr Robotnik, DOESN'T retire from acting as he said last year he might be considering about, cos without him I just don't know HOW we'll watch next year's planned 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3' at all, without Dr Robotnik there IS no 'Sonic' movie, we need you, Carrey. At least though, production has officially been confirmed as having begun on the TV show, scheduled for release this year so far, announced last year to be focused on Knuckles himself, the details released so far being as so... "Knuckles The Echidna teaches deputy Wade Whipple the ways of the Echidna warrior", which will certainly make for quite the hilarity I think, considering what Knuckles is like, so just imagine him trying to teach a human, HAHAHA.
