Caterpillar is a silkwing. She was a princess to be exact, her mother was Queen Atala of the silkwings. The leafwings, silkwings and hivewings all have their queen and kingdom. Pantala is split into thirds and the hivewings helped get rid of all the hives apart from the ones in their kingdom. The leafwings live in the poison jungle but they are planting more trees around their kingdom, their queen is Queen Azalea and the queen of the hivewings is Queen Izula. Caterpillar woke up to find she had fallen off the bed overnight, she stood up and stretched, her wings drooping by her side, she sighed, she had only just finished going through her metamorphosis a couple of days ago. She sleepily walked into the palace kitchen and stole a fruit bowl. The gardens were her favourite place to hide, there was a mural of Queen Atala made with flamesilk so it gave a soft glow. Queen Atala was a purple and blue dragon with magenta wings and antennae. Caterpillar was a green and gold dragon with lilac purple wings, she also happened to be a flamesilk. Caterpillar was just finishing her pineapple when her younger sister Harper, came around the corner, "hey, um Mother wants a bit of flamesilk for something, the one that doesn't burn but still gives heat" Caterpillar sighed as she slowly created a piece of flamesilk, she handed it to Harper and after she had scampered away Caterpillar stood up, shook her wings and shot to the sky, she wobbled for a little bit then balanced herself I wonder if anyone will notice if I have a little nap up here she flew towards the castle and sat down on the roof, she looked at the sky for a minute or two then curled up and dozed off.
