"Hey Goddess Hestia!" Bell started to shout at a woman who walked into the dilapidated church. She was short with black hair. Her blue eyes bothered Malcom but he did not know why. Her clothing choice was revealing to her chest which was very large for someone of her stature. Malcom removed the scythe's handle from his back and set it on a table. Bell and Hestia were chatting about something but Malcom wasn't really paying attention. "... and this is Malcom Wells," Bell says to his goddess, Hestia, if Malcom was correct. Malcom looks up from cleaning the blade of the Burial Blade. He really needed to change its name now that he thought about it.

"So I've been told you want to join my Familia," Hestia questions.

"Yes ma'am," Malcom replies. He was focusing on sharpening his blade.

"Fine, but there is a requirement," Hestia says back.

"What is it?" Malcom asks as he is checking the screws on the handle of the staff.

"You need to tell me your real name," Hestia demands.

This caused Malcom to stop. "What do you mean, Malcom Wells is my real name?"

"Yeah, sure," Hestia replies. "Get up and go outside, I need to check Bell's status." Malcom stalks off after grabbing the staff. He walked outside the church and sat down. It looked like it was about 3:30. Malcom removed his hat and put it on his knees. It's been years since he got to enjoy the sun on his skin. Malcom's eyes grew heavy and so he shut them.

A young Malcom was running, his black hair waving in the wind. A girl with blue eyes was running behind him. She panted and begged for Malcom to stop running so fast. Malcom looked back and said no. The girl started to shout "Wake up Malcom W…

Ake up Malcom!" Bell shouted, shaking his shoulder. Silver eyes stared into red ones before Malcom blinked and put his hat back on. "Goddess Hestia said she's ready to give you a Falna!" Bell said excitedly.

"Take off your jacket and show me your back," Hestia told Malcom. Malcom did as he was told. He suddenly felt a drop of blood drop on his back. Hestia grabbed a piece of paper and put it on his back. She printed his status and took a look.

His status concerned Hestia. Everything about him was too good to be Level 1 aside from Magic. She lowered his stats and removed some of his skills before showing it off. Both Bell and Malcom were happy to work together but they had to rest first.
