Chapter 7

With a fierce cry, Ken charged at Dark Ken, his fists clenched, and his muscles tensed. Dark Ken laughed, a cruel sound that echoed through the air, and he raised his own fists in response. They watched as Ken was fighting his evil counterpart, then they clashed, their bodies colliding with a force that shook the ground beneath them.

For a moment, it seemed as though Dark Ken had the upper hand. His blows were swift and powerful, and Ken struggled to keep up. But then, something inside Ken shifted. He felt a surge of energy coursing through his veins, a strength that he had never known before. He tapped into that power, channeling it into his fists, and he struck Dark Ken with a blow that sent him reeling.

Dark Ken stumbled backwards, his eyes wide with shock. Ken seized the opportunity, lunging forward to grab Yolei's hand and pull her away from Dark Ken's grasp. She looked up at him, her eyes shining with gratitude and love, and he knew that he had done the right thing.

Ken held Yolei tightly as they ran away from Dark Ken, his evil doppelganger created by Daemon. Yolei's heart was pounding as they reached their friends, Davis, Kari, and TK. Ken his breaths heavily. "What is the plan now?"

As Dark Ken rises to his feet, Davis's heart races with fear and adrenaline. Davis knew that they needed help. He turns to Kari and TK, his eyes pleading for help. "We need backup," he says urgently.

Kari nods, her expression grim. "I'll call Ty," she says, pulling out her phone. "He'll know what to do." Then she stomps her feet in disappointment and tells her friends. "Ty is on spring break with Sora with some of their college friends."

Davis could see the doubt in their eyes. He knew they were scared. But he also knew that they had to do something. "We can't just sit here and do nothing," Davis said. "We need to stop them."

TK looks uncertain, but he knows that they have to act fast. "I'll call Matt," he says, reaching for his own phone. "He's got a lot of experience dealing with Digital Destin situations."

Matt looked around the kitchen, as he was lost looking around his own kitchen. "Mimi" He sighed and continued setting up the tray of snacks, feeling a sense of disappointment that his friend had left him to do all the work. As he arranged the cookies and chips, his mind wandered to the reason why Mimi had left in the first place.

Matt cursed under his breath as he looked down at the bright red juice stain on his white shirt. He had been tasked with making snacks, and now he had ruined his favorite shirt in the process. He couldn't help but wonder why he always seemed to get stuck with the menial tasks while everyone else got to have all the fun.

With a sigh of frustration, he peeled off his shirt, revealing his toned chest and abs. He grabbed a nearby towel and began to vigorously scrub at the stain, hoping to salvage his shirt.

Matt walks out of his kitchen shirtless with his muscles glistening, as he carries two large bowls of popcorn, snacks and a pitcher of juice on a tray. He makes his way into the living room over to Gabumon, Agumon, Biyomon and Palmon sitting on the couch. Matt hands them each a bowl of popcorn.

Matt's Curiosity was peaked as he saw Mimi's head peeking out from the top of the stairs. He couldn't resist her magnetic pull, and he quickly made his way up the stairs to join her.

Matt turns on the TV and looks at the Digimon. "You guys watch your movie don't fight over the popcorn. I need to help Mimi with something, I'll be back."

Matt walks upstairs and steps into his bedroom, "Mimi, what are you doing in there?" He looks around moving closer to his bed. "Thanks for helping with snacks. The movie was your idea, and you didn't help me with anything."

He could tell from the noise in the bathroom that Mimi was inside. "Mimi, can you grab me a shirt from my closet."

Matt stood outside the bathroom, waiting for Mimi's response. He could hear running water and the faint humming of a tune. He wondered what was taking her so long.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Mimi's voice came from inside. "Are they watching the movie?"

"Yes, what is going on in there?" As Matt rests on his bed wondering what Mimi's was doing in hid bathroom.

The bathroom door opens as Mimi steps into Matt's bedroom. As she steps out. "It new from my clothing line, you must tell me if you like it."

Matt's heart was racing as he looked at Mimi. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. She was breathtakingly beautiful in her see-through lingerie, and he felt a rush of desire wash over him.

She jumped into his arms and kissed him; he knew that he was in for a night he would never forget.

TK voice comes from the phone. "We need help."

Davis, TK, Kari, Ken, and Yolei stood together, their eyes fixed on TK hanging up his phone. As they stand in the alley near the building.

Davis turned to TK, his voice shaking with fear and uncertainty. "Is your brother coming to help us?" he asked, hoping for a glimmer of hope in the darkness.

TK looked at him, his face grim. "No," he said, his voice low and serious. "No, he said we should fall back and regroup. Let's go back to Ken's place. He will meet with us in the morning."

The group fell into silence, their hearts heavy with the weight of their mission. But then Yolei stepped forward, her eyes blazing with determination. "It doesn't matter," she said. "We can do this. We'll fight together, and we'll win."

Kari watched as Ken and Yolei's love story unfolded before her eyes. She had always harbored feelings for Ken, but he never reciprocated them. Now, seeing him watch Yolei being fearless, she knew in that moment Ken would follow Yolei to the ends of the Earth and beyond.

She couldn't bear to watch them any longer. "No, Yolei, let's leave," she said abruptly.

Yolei looked at Kari with confusion in her eyes. "What's wrong, Kari?" she asked, placing a comforting hand on her friend's shoulder.

Kari glares at Yolei in jealousy, she lashes out. "Because it's too dangerous! Let's get Cody and go back to Ken's place.

"Cody!" Yolei quickly takes off running to the back of the building, with the others following behind her. Dark Yolei was a approaching Cody. Yolei yells, "Cody run!"

Cody's heart raced as he heard Yolei's urgent warning. He turned to see Dark Yolei, a twisted version of his friend, approaching him with a menacing grin. He knew he had to run, but his legs felt like lead.

As he stumbled backwards, he felt a sudden surge, Cody and his Digimon dashed towards Yolei and Ken, with fear and adrenaline. As they reached their friends, they collapsed onto the ground, panting heavily.

"What's going on?" Cody asked, his eyes wide with concern.

Davis running behind them. "We are heading back to Ken's House."

They quickly leave the area, riding away on their motorcycles into the night heading back to Ken's apartment.

As they entered Ken's home, Davis couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him. The group collapsed onto the couch, their hearts still racing from the adrenaline of their escape. Ken grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and passed it around, each of them taking a long swig.

"So, what now?" Yolei asked, breaking the silence.

Cody leaned forward; his eyes narrowed in thought. "We need to figure out how to stop them. We can't keep running forever."

TK nodded in agreement. "But how do we do that? They're too powerful."

Kari spoke up, her voice soft but determined. "We need to find how they were created. Maybe we can use it to destroy them, or maybe we can weaken them enough to defeat them."

Ken couldn't help but feel drawn to Yolei's beauty even more. He was mesmerized by her sparkling eyes, her luscious lips, and her radiant smile. He found himself lost in her presence, unable to focus on anything else.

Davis, his best friend, noticed Ken's infatuation with Yolei and couldn't help but smile. Try not to interrupt their moment, but his stomach was growling. "Ken, do you have anything to eat?"

Kari couldn't help still feeling a twinge of jealousy, because Ken couldn't take his eyes off Yolei. She was beautiful, with long purple hair and sparkling eyes that seemed to light up the room. "Ken, I will help you cook."

Ken had always been loyal and devoted to Yolei. He cherished every moment he spent with her and never once thought of straying from her side. As he walked into the kitchen to cook dinner, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease when Kari walked over to him flirtatious, up behind him.

As they started cooking together, Kari's flirtatious behavior only seemed to intensify. She leaned in a little too close, giggled a little too loudly, and kept finding excuses to touch him.

Davis had always been there for Yolei, through thick and thin. He had seen her at her happiest and at her lowest, and he knew that her heart belonged to Ken. Watching Kari flirt with him was like watching a knife twist in Yolei's heart.

He could see the pain etched on her face, and it made him ache inside. Davis tabs Yolei's arm as she looks away from Ken and Kari. "He doesn't like her like that."

Ken tried his best to brush off her advances, but it was becoming increasingly difficult. He didn't want to hurt Kari's feelings, but he only wanted to be with Yolei. As they finished cooking, Kari made one last attempt to win Ken over, but he stood his ground and politely declined.

Davis points out Ken rejecting Kari to Yolei. "See, I told you."

As they sat down to eat, Ken couldn't help but feel relieved that the evening was coming to an end. Everyone decided to sleep over at Ken's house. Most of them crash in the living room. Yolei was sleeping on Ken's top bunk bed with Hawkmon. Ken was asleep on the bottom with Wormmon.

Ken's bedroom door opens Kari slips in over to Ken sleeping, she gently touches his sleeping face. She quietly lifts the blanket off his body, she looks down at his boxer shorts. She wonders if it is the same size as Dark Ken. She wants to see and touch it with her hand, mouth and body.
