Sesshomaru was losing his damn mind
That was the only explanation for it.
He did not find his half-brother cute. Not at all.
And yet.

The ears.
Kami damn those ears.
They were perfect on him, so delicate yet so useful, almost like InuYasha himself. He used them to save his friends, and seemed to actually take care of them, if his protests of people touching them were any indication. That or it was uncomfortable for him.
Sesshomaru was thinking too far into this. Just because they had a... pleasant look to them does not mean they made Sesshomaru think any differently about his adorable- foolish! he reminded himself, He is foolish- Hanyou half-brother. No thoughts were changed, none at all. It's not like he suddenly realized his brother -half brother- was a living breathing thing, he just noticed he had fluffy ears, nothing more-
"Sesshomaru-sama!" Jaken yelled, pulling the DaiYoukai out of his thoughts. "I found food! Really nutritious food at that!" Sesshomaru may not like the green toad, but he did have his uses. Like finding edible things that wouldn't get Rin sick. The girl wouldn't have lasted a day with only himself, although Sesshomaru would never admit that.
"Sesshomaru-sama!" Think of the devil, he thought amused, and the devil shall appear. "Jaken-san brought us food! Rin tried to find some too, but it was really hard." She looked oddly disappointed at this, as though she was trying to impress him. It did not matter to Sesshomaru who found what so long as it wasn't dangerous or annoying, which is why he will find whoever brought Jaken to him and kill them in the most painful way he possibly can.
