The passing students arrive. They're making their way into the arena for those that are ready to compete.
The arena is a simple white flat square surface. Slightly smaller than the Finals of the Vytal Festival stage.
There's a couple of people, are preparing themselves for the upcoming fights.
Headmaster Claudio walked up to podium at the side, speaking to everyone.
"Welcome all. This will be our traditional exhibition battles. Now may our first participant please come forward on competing!"
Barbara Forest walked up. She's ready for competition as she stretches in the ring.
Isabella stood up as she continues to talk with her selfie stick. "I hope you all would please pressed like, and subscribe to my channel. And if I win, I might give you all a nice treat." She winks and smiled to the audience.
She enter the ring.
Barbara rolled her eyes. "Hope you can bring your A-game, because I ain't gonna hold back."
"I won't." Isabella winks at her.
Bell rings.
Barbara snaps out her Forest King bow to fire a Dust tip arrow. The moment it came close to Isabella, Barbara press the trigger to reveal that the Dust tip arrow can split into four smaller arrows to hit Isabella with multiple different Dusts;
First is the Electrical Dust to keep Isabella stunned for the second arrow, Fire Dust to cause an explosion to spin her around, third arrow with Plant Dust to vine and trap Isabella arms, and Gravity Dust to push her out of the arena.
Bell rings.
Claudio seemed impressed by Barbara tactics.
Barbara scoff her off. "Perhaps you should try dodging or make a quick strike rather than playing with your little livestream there. But thank you for proving how worthless you are." Barbara insulted Isabella.
Isabella got up and offer a handshake. Barbara slowly accepted.
"Not really, but I should be thanking you." She winks at her which confused Barbara. She continues on her livestream. "Sorry folks, but didn't feel like winning since I don't want to show off or out show everyone else here. So that's how generous I am thus I am your Faunus Fashionista. But don't worry people, I'll bring the content when I'm at the battle royale. Hoping to see you all there!" She blows out a kiss while sitting next to Slade.
"Was that really your match up, pretty lady?" Slade asked.
Isabella sees Slade and not impressed with his casual southern look.
"Perhaps you should try something with a little more flash, my darling." Isabella snarks.
"And seeing you looking week and meak, it seems you're trying to attractive some people." Slade smirks at her.
"I honestly don't know what you're talking about, pup. I think I was caught off guard." Isabella plays it off.
"Sure thing, miss." He tips his hat with a chuckle.
Clay sits next to Isabella. "Perhaps what the mutt is trying to say is; you're making it too obvious." He flexes next to her.
"Only to the idiots who can't tell the difference." Isabella grins.
Lyold Black had enter the arena with Jackal Blacksand.
Jackal weapon seems to have an Egyptian style of; shorts with sash; crop top hoodie with a Jackal head; sandles; and his weapon is Khopesh with the outer blades infused with a mixture of Hard Light and Electrical Dust.
Claudio is confused, then stood up. "Is your opponent will be against Mr. Blacksand?"
Lyold said no.
Jackal used his Semblance to travel towards Claudio and explained it to him.
"Lyold wanted to do a doubles match. So would you mind, if we can have such match?"
Claudio seems amused of this development. "Very well." Standing up. "Our next match up will be an interesting one. We're gonna have a doubles match up. So if any of you want to participate, please come forth." Claudio sat down.
Shiro shirt tugs Eric.
Looking down at him, and sign that perhaps he wanted to participate.
"If we do this, everyone will know who to take down first. I won't be able to protect you if we're located elsewhere." Eric said to Shiro.
"I know..." Shiro is nervous.
"Okay then."
Both Eric and Shiro stood up then walk down together.
Eric weapon of choice is two brass knuckles with tridents tips with six additional pairs hanging on his side. And at the back of his buckle, he has multiple bottles of water. This confused Lyold as he's wondering if they're spares because all the spares have Fire Dust infused onto the tridents, but he can believe the bottles of water could be his Semblance based.
Jackal on the other hand is wondering why he needs Fire Dust, because that contradicts the water bottles. He's worried that it might be due of his possible Semblance?
Shiro is a regular staff, nothing to special nor not any kind of dust. Multiple Humans and Faunus aren't very impressed with this weapon of choice of Shiro nor his stand when is comes to preparing for a match.
Bell rings.
Jackal used his Sandstorm Semblance to try to go for an early elimination as Barbara did, but Shiro have a similar Semblance (also similar to Ruby Rose's Petal Burst) but with Sakura leaves to counter and push Jackal back to prevent the elimination.
Jack is surprised, but Lyold realize the similarities of the Semblances, "Must be the same Nature Class. Both Sand and Sakura Leaves."
Lyold was caught off guard by Eric quick punch. Quickly block the punch by his shield. Both of them used Gravity Dust, but Eric also activate Fire Dust with Gravity to create a massive heat wave in the arena. Jackal doesn't mind the heat, but Shiro starting to sweat with Eric and Lyold.
Shiro runs up for a multiple staff swings, but Jackal block each swing with his weapon, "Imhotep". Shiro used his Semblance, "Sakura Bloom" to go behind Jackal but he block the swings onto the back.
Eric rush up to Lyold for a punch. Lyold back steps then goes for a slash then a swing. Side step then wrist grab hold for a quick swing onto the cheek.
Barbara, Slade, Kaguya, and Clay noticed the wrist lock grab.
Lyold spin evasion the punch for a back swing shield smash. Eric punches the shield again for another heat wave blast.
Shiro block each strike from Jackal, but it seems he's only being toyed by him. Staff cartwheel in order to avoid a slow low swing from Jackal. Shiro continues to play defensive, then used his Semblance to retreat next to Eric.
Lyold question to himself on what's his purpose for the heat wave blast. Shiro used his Semblance, Sakura Bloom, to go near Eric to give him a high five. Lyold made a quick look but something had been bothering him for awhile.
Shiro used his Semblance in order to try to push Jackal out, but been overpowered by Jackal's Semblance, Sandstorm, in order to be slam down. He quickly block Jackal's Fire & Hard Light Dust slash with his staff that reveal to be made out of Moonite Rock. Jackal use his Semblance for a dive attack.
Eric runs up but punch down to use the heat wave blast to launch himself up, in order to avoid the sub-machine gun shots from the shield then protect Shiro from Jackal's dive by rolling them out of the way. Eric runs up to grab Jackal wrists in order to toss him towards Lyold.
Both Jackal and Lyold runs up to them while feeling fresh cold air.
Eric grins, he used his Semblance. Both Jackal and Lyold been punched back but unknown to them, they had been pulled from the legs and been slammed down.
Both of them looked up and sees that Eric has four additional arms with water. Both are completely shocked over it.
"What the...?" Jackal asked.
Lyold rubs the back of his head, but noticed that he isn't sweating due of how dry is hair is. He pull his hand up front and feeling his fingers then put it together. "Those hands? Are they...?"
"Yes." Eric answered. "These hands are the combined sweat of everyone here."
Everyone is disgusted that the arms are sweat.
"But I'll share. I can use any kinds of form of water, from either water, sweat, blood and even urine, I'll use it as my additional arms. My Semblance is called, Tentacles. But I do got a nickname from my old life down at Mistral and Menagerie; Hentai."
One of Eric's Tentacles grab the water from his back buckle in order to pour it down on himself then use it increase the size and length of the Tentacles, from dirty sweaty water to slowly into clearer water, but the sweat water are used for the hands. Each Tentacle grab the six spares on the side in order to use them.
"Stay back, Shiro. I'll handle them." Eric said to Shiro who's standing behind him. "But I still need you to counter Jackal's Semblance." He nods to Eric.
Eric runs up to them, with Jackal and Lyold. Eric used each Tentacle to strike while his hands are reaching out to grab and absorb their sweat, and using the Heat Wave Blast from each strike.
Jackal goes to use his Semblance, but Shiro used his in order to keep him away from any of the Tentacle.
Barbara is observing the fight, and asking herself. "If that octopus Semblance is an Nature Class, why does he need to fear Blacksand?"
Slade is confused, but Clay fill him in. "Mutt, when you have a Nature Class, there's still a pecking order when it comes to a fight. What happen when you mixed sand and water?"
Shiro is keeping Jackal from using his Semblance, but each time he used his Sakura Bloom, Kaguya is noticing a flaw.
"Too much exposure."
Mae agreed. "Having a Nature Class doesn't mean your unbeatable. And relying on your Semblance too much..."
Each time Shiro is using his Sakura Bloom, it's slowly turned into sand.
"Another will devour it from within."
Shiro is fighting on defense, but Jackal grabs the staff then pull it away him Shiro. Jackal leg sweep Shiro down then tossed the staff far away, out of the ring.
Eric noticed and used his Semblance, but Jackal goes for his Semblance.
Shiro used his to counter, but Jackal's had overpowered Shiro's in order to hit Eric's Tentacle that's reaching out, turning it into mud to break the Tentacle.
Eric goes for a retreat, but Lyold changed clips for Ice Dust to freeze one Tentacle down to force him to break another.
Sandstorm hit Eric, forcing him out of the ring, eliminating him. Jackal slides Shiro out, but he held onto the edge and pull himself back in. Shiro crawl back, away from the edge but turned to realize that he's alone with his remaining two opponents without Eric.
Lyold and Jackal walk up to an unarmed Shiro.
"This is the part where you leap out of the ring." Jackal said to an obvious scared Shiro.
Shiro is shaken and looking back at a five meter down the arena, but to him, it feels like he's looking down a bottomless pit. He raised up his fists.
"I'll continue on fighting." He spoke with such timid tone.
"We're gonna make this simple to you," Lyold talk to Shiro before he done anything. "Either we can make this a fair fight where one of us can fight you, or give you that valiant heroic fight but that would make us cowards because it was 'it was no fair'. So which one is gonna be?"
"I'll take you both on...!" Shiro is scared but he ran up to them.
Lyold potshot Shiro's foot then a gut punch from Jackal. Lyold boot to the side of a leaning head of Shiro. Flat sided hit from Jackal from his weapon to spin Shiro around. Lyold eliminated him by a shield Gravity push. Hitting the wall hard after the push and breaking his Aura.
Bell rings.
The Academy students clap for the victors.
Shiro is sad and crying over his lost. Eric walked up to him, absorbing the tears and urine. Flicking it to the walls.
"You fought hard." Eric pat his back, while keeping Shiro head down in order to avoid others to see him sad.
Gallant up at the stands chuckled over Shiro's lost. "Valiant, but pointless. He should had stick with that fair fight."
Slade looks up to Gallant. "Look here, when you're hunting, you'll be facing multiple and bigger creatures out there. Fights like these aren't meant to be fair. The size of the fight that matters in my eyes."
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Then I guess his fight wasn't that big compared to actual dogs!" Gallant laughs at Slade and Shiro.
Slade turned and pulls out his double barrel shotgun at Gallant, but Claudio held Slade at still, but Eric had multiple Tentacles at Gallant, but sees Gallant's Thunderclap Semblance sparks as his electrical aura had surrounded him. Intimidated by his Semblance, Eric withdraw his.
"And that's why it pointless to be valiant." Gallant grins down on them.
Slade is forced to withdraw his shotgun.
"I hope I'm next!" Gallant smiled over the thought.
Claudio stood up. "May the next..."
Flash lightning rush up to the ring, Harriet is up to compete.
Surprised by her speed, but nods. "Alright, Ms. Bree. Who shall..."
White blur entered the ring, Kaguya is standing across her.
"We got our next participants. You two may begin!"
Both of them looking excited, preparing themselves for then next match.
