They both moaned in unison, climaxing almost simultaneously and panting into each other's mouths as Naruto shoved his knot deep inside his lover. When the knot finally came down, the Alpha slipped out of him before collapsing next to his Omega, enveloping his limp body in his arms and pressing his plush lips to his scent gland where his mating mark was.
Two months prior, they had become one and their hearts felt so fully complete. It had been like all of the adversities they had faced had been building up to that one singular moment where they would finally be united together, like two halves coming together to form a whole. They completed each other, filled in what the other lacked and no one could ever take that away from them. No matter how hard they tried.
They shared one heart and one soul.
However, their actions didn't escape the consequences. They had been extremely secretive about the mating but somehow the information had reached the ears of the Hyuga family who never arrived at the Royal Palace, turning their way back secretively, avoiding the main roads, back to their lands in safety.
A few weeks after their mating when Naruto was coming back from an audience he caught one of, what he thought, was one of his most trusted servants in his lover's chambers with a dagger in her hand, ready to murder the sleeping Omega.
When Naruto found the scene, his Alpha didn't think twice about protecting his Mate. When Sakura noticed Naruto's angry pheromones in the air she tried to hurry up in her task when the blond fought to take the knife from her hand. He could have easily killed her with his bare hands but he needed her for interrogation.
The interrogation had a strenuous process, with Naruto constantly having to stop his wolf from killing the pink-haired Omega. Eventually, she opened her mouth and revealed she had been working for the Hyugas for years, and that she was their only source of information inside the Palace walls.
The blond squeezed his Omega protectively at the painful memory and after a few minutes, he reluctantly left his bed walking to the only desk in the chambers where he had made the best carpenter in all Five Great Nations carve a map. He had ordered his servants to place it in Sasuke's chambers because since they bonded and after the incident with Sakura, Naruto couldn't bear to leave his Mate alone for more than thirty minutes.
The Uchiha rolled on the bed to lay on his stomach as he watched Naruto put a linen robe on before he turned to look at him. "If you don't put some clothes on I cannot promise you I won't attack you again." A smug smile spread itself across his face.
"I'd be more than pleased if you did, My King." He teased and Naruto finally sat down, attempting to ground himself and not jump to his Omega's side again and trap him between his arms for the rest of the week. "Can you give me a quill, ink, and some paper please?" The Alpha nodded, fetching the items from one of the drawers before handing them to Sasuke.
"Who are you writing to?" He quizzed in curiosity.
"My brother."
He nodded as the other one dipped the sharp quill into the small ink container before letting it glide across the paper. "Does he know his little brother is bonded to the King?"
"Not yet."
"That will be a surprise, I expect."
"Many surprises for him." He let out quizzically, and smiled fondly, fighting the urge to caress his stomach. Naruto looked over from the table to his still-naked lover on the bed.
"How am I supposed to sit here planning our next attack if you're lying there looking like that?" He had to fight his growing smile as his Alpha stared at him with such fondness and desire in his eyes.
"Would you like to meet my brother one day?" He inquired randomly. "When all of this is over."
"I would. " He nodded. "And I will. I promise." The raven-haired Uchiha smiled before getting back to his writing. He wrote two more lines before looking at Naruto again.
"I know he would love to meet you," He tried to control his breathing at the words he was about to utter to the blond. He couldn't help but fear his reaction but Naruto would probably notice sooner or later. "And his nephew too." From where he was he could see the blond's broad shoulders tense up before he whipped his head around to face Sasuke who had an expectant look on his face.
"What now?" The Uzumaki questioned in surprise. He got up from his chair and walked towards the raven who almost immediately put his paper and quill away, feeling the nerves coarse through his whole body. "Are you certain?" His expression was still one of shock and Sasuke for the first time couldn't tell what was going on through the blond's mind.
"Are you angry with me?" Was the only thing that occurred to him.
"Angry?" The Alpha retorted almost offended before getting to the bed, kneeling on the floor close to Sasuke, and tenderly cupping his cheek. "You're my Omega. And you will be my Queen too." Relief flooded through the raven's heart at the words. "How could I ever be angry at you?"
Gently placing his hand on top of the calloused strong one and placing both of them on top of his slightly bloated stomach, Sasuke whispered softly against the other's lips. "Are you looking forward to meeting our little one?"
"Very. You?"
"I am exceptionally nervous. The more my brain registers that he is more than just revenge- a product of our love, the more frightened I become."
"I am nervous too but we have nothing to worry about. You will make a great parent and we'll have all the help we need."
"Do you think we will be adequate parents?"
"Without a doubt." The blond smiled even wider, pressing a chaste kiss to Sasuke's flushed cheek before his mouth traveled to Sasuke's belly where he peppered loving kisses all across the porcelain skin. He really couldn't wait to see it stretch with their baby. To know the physical proof of their love was growing inside his Omega.
"I still cannot believe I am carrying our future little prince or princess inside me."
"Maybe one of each." Naruto mused, earning a tender giggle from his Omega.
"Don't get greedy," Sasuke licked his lips enticingly.
"What good would it be for me to be King if I cannot be greedy and have everything I want once in a full moon."
"Unfortunately, that's not how the world works. Even with all the power in the world, there are certain things you cannot obtain."
"I have you." He proffered with utter sincerity. "That was everything I wanted. So I think from now on I am certain I can get anything else I desire." The Omega in front of him wanted to smack the idiot for making him blush but the tenderness in his voice stopped him from doing so. Instead, he attacked his King's lips with his own.
Soon enough, the Alpha climbed onto the bed with his Omega and pressed his strong body on the more lean one, kissing him with fervor. "Sometimes I think the Gods sent you here to control me with that beauty of yours. Like you were sculpted by Aphrodite herself." The long limbs enveloped the blond's waist pulling him closer as the sinuous mouth ran across his neck.
"Control you? I-I am only here to serve you, My King." He whispered, trying to contain his moans. He knew he had a huge influence on the blond and that only boosted his ego.
"Don't be modest. We both know when we're between these four walls I am the one who serves you. That might just make you the most powerful man in the Kingdom." He gave a particularly harsh suck on top of their bonding mark, the action having Sasuke purr in his ear. "That's why they all fear you." The blond confessed, referring to his councilors. "They fear the day I'll lose you," The Omega started bucking his hips relentlessly against the blond's groin. "because they know I'd let all the Five Great Nations burn to the ground before that could happen."
"As much as I love all the power you're giving me, I lo-ah love you infinitely more."
"I would do anything for you."
"You would?" Naruto hummed in confirmation. "You spoil me too much, Your Grace."
"I would never allow sadness to touch you again." After his lover had told him his story, he promised himself he would do anything to protect the Omega, even to the cost of his own life. His fingers trail the supple skin of his waist as his lips travel south down his neck to his flushed chest.
"W-ould that not make me evil and cruel?" Sasuke groaned, feeling the wet muscle circling his sensitive nipple.
"A God should have no concern as to whether he is evil and cruel or not." He said, trapping the nub between his teeth to lightly pull on it.
Sasuke let out a tender chuckle. "I am not a God...You should not make such blasphemous claims, Your Grace."
"I have no other Gods to speak of but you, My Dear." The Alpha said as if it was common knowledge, releasing the nipple from his mouth to pepper kisses all over the bruised chest.
"You would bring the chagrin and exasperation of the gods upon you and the Kingdom for me?"
"Whatever it would take to make you happy."
Sasuke giggled, placing each of his soft palms on Naruto's cheeks, letting his thumbs caress the scarred tissue. "Careful, My King, such haughtiness has been the fall of many men."
"If you will be the cause of my ruin, I will gladly be undone." He smirked.
"What would your councilors think of such lunacy?" Sasuke cocked a black brow.
"They'd behold my utter devotion for you," The Uzumaki spoke, smooching his forehead. It made Sasuke's soul feel lighter every time he heard it. To know what they had, went way beyond possessions, revenge, and soul bonds. There was love. And with that a sense of plenitude.
He cupped the whiskered cheeks with his heated palms and brought his face to his lips. "Can you leave the war for one night?"
Naruto smiled.
Oh yeah, Sasuke was surely worth more than anything else in the world.
