Haileys life had felt like it had been turned upside down.

Jay, her husband, her lifeline, the one person who could calm her down after a rough day at work, had just told her he was leaving for 8 months give or take to go to Bolivia.

He was standing infront of her while she was leaning on the back of the couch, he was talking but she was barely listening. "You can't just leave" Hailey said in a whisper with tears threatening to spill. Jay cups her face between his hands and takes a step closer, "Hailey this is what I need, its good and bad, black and white. I need that... I.. I need that back."

Hailey understood where he was coming from, over the past however many months he changed Voight changed him. Hailey got it but it still hurt her. Him leaving, knowing she is going to be alone, even though she will have the team to help her. She wont have him.

He gave her one last deep kiss and a long hug then picked his bag up and left...

That was 3 months ago to that day. And she found herself stood in that same spot with a test on the side. She had to wait what felt like a lifetime for the results. Once her phoned beeped she looked, 2 bright pink lines came across. Pregnant. She couldn't belive it..

She went to med before going to work to make sure she wasn't seeing things. She had felt off the past couple of months but she put it down to missing Jay.. Dr asher confirmed it.. 3 months pregnant.

She chooses not to tell Jay so it doesn't distract him while is he over there and she needs him back for her sake the baby's sake.

She tells the team trudy and will qnd makes them swear not to tell Jay because of not wanting to distract him. They agree. But they make her promise that they have to help out with her pregnancy so she isn't alone.

The first couple of months are going great. Will has moved in with her since his apartment building burnt down and she has a guest bedroom, plus they are family. So he has been a great help with everything. He makes sure she she fed she's comfortable even on their bad days they are there for each other. They have gotten close. But not crossed any lines.

At work, Kevin and hailey have been parterned up. So he has been helping her out, she been really appreciative of kev because he knew what they was going through and he hated to his friend like sister go through what she is going through. He and the rest of the team had helped her sort the house out so she was ready for when the baby came.

Towards the end of her pregnancy it started to get too much for her she wasn't sleeping due to the baby keeping her awake and her insomnia kicking in. Which means she is more tired at work but she is thankful for desk duty which she has been on since she was about 6 months.

Will had a day off and knew the team had a case and she was there alone so he bought her her favourite take out and got her some comfort stuff, like one of jays hoodie znd his pillow and went to the district. Trudy saw him and smiled then buzzed him up without saying anything. He nodded towards her and went upstairs he found Hailey throwing up in the breakroom so he put the stuff on jays desk and went to rub her back.

Hailey jumped not expecting anyone to be there but when she realised who it was she relaxed. She stopped throwing up and washes her face and hands in the sink. She sat on the couch while will cleaned up. When he went back he found her curled up on the couch. He got the stuff from his brothers desk and went back to her 'hails' he said Hailey looked at him 'have this.' He gave her jays hoodie and pillow, so she took her hoodie off and puts his on then put the pillow behind her head and tried getting comfy.

Will put the food he bought for her and team in the fridge and saw that she was uncomfortable, so he sat down next to her and opens his arms knowing she likes to cuddle. 'Come here he whispered she didn't say anything and laid the pillow on his chest and then laid her head on the pillow will played with her hair and she dozed off. Will dozed off about 25 minutes after her

She had been asleep for about an hour or so when the team came in. Kev is the first one up so he tells everyone to be quiet and shits the breakroom door.

The team smiled at them and kev took a photo making sure not to get her belly in the photo and sent it to Jay with the caption 'she hasn't been sleeping great but will is here.'Jay read it but didn't reply..

Hailey woke up about an hour later in pain with her stomach. She rubbed it and it got worse so she gasped which made will wake and go into Dr mode.

Hailey looked at him and she had worry on her face, will said he would take a look so he felt around her belly and felt something. When he gently pushed down her water broke. Thats when will shouted for them to call an ambulance, Adam did while Kim went in to help them.

Will told Hailey he needed to check so he did, he could see the head. So he told her to push which she did Hailey started crying and saying she needed Jay but Kim was there to help her through it. Kev went and got platt and platt went up to help.

Hailey had given birth to a healthy 8 pound 10 baby girl. Once will had cut the cord he gave the baby to Hailey who cried.. the little girl had been wrapped in jays hoodie after Hailey took it off.. Hailey kissed her hair and smiled.

Kim and trudy had left will and Hailey in the breakroom to give them some space and after a while, Will broke the silence "she looks like Jay." Hailey looked at him with fresh tears. "He doesn't know. I never told him."

Will "don't do that, if u would have told him he would have wanted to come back and he couldn't then he would be distracted.. so don't blame ypurslef hails."

Hailey nodded as Brett and voilet came up.

They had checked Hailey out and due to the baby being Healthy and will being there there was no need for her to go to med but they said she needed to take the baby in for routine checks tomorrow. Which hailey nodded and sat up on the couch with her after sorting herself out.

Will smiles at her. "Why don't we get u home hails. Get this little one out of the cold."

Hailey nodded "I need to go to target and get some stuff first tho" as she handed the baby to will so she could pack her desk up. Will rubbed his nieces back and she cuddled into him and nodded to Hailey. When she finished packing her desk up, Hailey stood in the door way and smiled at them.

Will noticed her and asked if she wanted her back Hailey shook her head since she had her arms full. So they went down to the car and will had put her in her car seat and hailey sat next to her and will drove them home...

Jay was meant to be coming home in 3 weeks, but he found out he could go home today so that's what he did, he got on a plane and went home to Hailey. While on his way home to their house he stopped off at a flower boutique and picked up a bunch of red and white roses for Hailey and went home. He hoped she was still at work so he got out his taxi and gave the guy a 100 and told him to keep the change. Jay went inside and found she wasn't there so he put his bag away in there room and planned a little surprise for her in their room, he sat on the couch on his phone waiting for her.

Will pulled up in the car spot next to jays truck like he had done for the past 8 months and got out and picked all the stuff up while Hailey had got the baby out and they both headed inside..

Will went in first and put the stuff down on the table, while Hailey put the baby down in her cot in the nursery because she had felt asleep. Hailey ' I'm going to go shower shower get changed while she is sleeping if anything happens call me" will nodded and Hailey went into their bedroom and froze. Jay was sitting on the edge of their bed holding the roses, "hey baby." He said as he got up, Hailey ran into his arms and cried. "Your home" Jay hugged her back and nodded. "I'm home and never leaving you." Haileys grip got tighter on him and just cried into his shoulder.

Will had heard Hailey crying and went to her room to check on her. He was shocked to find his brother standing there hugging his wife. Jay looked up "hey bro" will smiled at him and hugged him. Hailey removed herself from the hug "I'm going to get a shower then I have a surprise for u baby." Jay looked confused but Hailey got some clothes and went to the bathroom to go get changed.

Will and jay had moved back to the living room and was talking when Hailey came out, she realised it would be a good time to introduce the baby girl to her father So she went to the nursery and carefully picked her up and wrapped her in a blanket and took her out to the living room.

Jay noticed her and froze Hailey standing int he doorway with her hair down still damp in his t shirt and some leggings holding a baby. "What.. who... huh?" Jay looked confused and had tears in his eyes, Hailey stepped forward "your daughter. She was born at 11: 59 am today." Jay looked at her still not being able to talk. It was only until will gently pushed him towards Hailey,

Jay moved and said "you was pregnant and didn't say, you went through all this alone"

Hailey took a breathe. "I didn't tell u because I needed u to focus. I wasn't alone I had the team, I had will to help me. Through it. If it wasn't for them I couldn't have don't It" Jay nodded and kisses her head and takes the baby off her. "What's her name?" Hailey shrugs " ihavent thought of that far ahead. It's something her father should have a say in. " Jay never took his eyes off the kid. "Isabella Anne" Hailey smiles at him. "That's what u wanna name her." Jay nods and looks to his wife. Hailey smiles and kisses him then looks down to their daughter "isabella it is." Isabella smiles and cuddles herself into Jay more.

That night will decided to leave his brother and his wife alone and go out to mollys. So Jay and hailey decided to have a chilled night. They had put on their favourite movie, Hailey was feeding Isabella, while Jay ordered a pizza for them. After Hailey had point isabella down her and jay cuddled on the couch never letting go of each other again.
